Abstract

Socialization needs to be carried out in order to introduce and educate parents in realizing sustainable literacy activities. This activity aims to socialize literacy activities and read aloud methods as an alternative in carrying out literacy activities at home, so as to foster interest in reading students. This dedication activity is carried out using presentation, discussion, and demonstration methods. This activity is carried out on 28 parents of grade I SDN Harapan Baru III students. The result is that parents are very enthusiastic and can practice reading aloud activities to students. This activity is also an alternative to bridging the roles of parents and students in learning to read, so the parents could understand their role and contribution to the implementation of the school literacy movement as a government program. Keywords: School Literacy Movement, Read Aloud. Abstrak Sosialisasi perlu dilakukan dalam rangka mengenalkan dan mengedukasi orang tua dalam mewujudkan kegiatan literasi yang berkesinambungan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan kegiatan literasi dan metode read aloud sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam melakukan kegiatan literasi di rumah, sehingga menumbuhkembangkan minat baca siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode presentasi, diskusi, dan demonstrasi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan terhadap orang tua siswa kelas I SDN Harapan Baru III sebanyak 28 orang. Hasilnya orang tua sangat antusias dan dapat mempraktikan kegiatan read aloud kepada siswa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini juga menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam menjembatani peran orang tua dan siswa dalam melakukan pembelajaran membaca, sehingga orang tua memahami peran dan kontribusinya dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan gerakan literasi sekolah sebagai program pemerintah. Kata kunci: Gerakan Literasi Sekolah, Read Aloud.

Abstract

Keterampilan kewirausahaan berbasis lingkungan (eco-preneur) perlu diberikan kepada semua lapisan masyarakat. Melalui budidaya vertikultur yang melibatkan Ibu-ibu PKK di Perumahan Mustika Karang Satria Tambun Utara, selain berdampak langsung bagi penghijauan di lingkungan perumahan, juga dapat menjadi sarana kewirausahaan berbasis lingkungan dan terutama meningkatkan ketahanan pangan keluarga pada masa pendemic Covid-19.  Alasan dipilihnya lembaga PKK di lingkungan ini adalah berdasarkan survei, lokasi perumahan berada di kawasan padat penghuni dan mempunyai lahan yang sempit. Keterbatasan lahan berakibat minimnya penghijauan di lingkungan perumahan. Padahal sumber daya manusia (Ibu-ibu PKK) di lingkungan perumahan memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan diri cukup yang besar sebagai agen wirausaha, khususnya eco-preneur. Akan tetapi mereka kurang memiliki pengetahuan serta tidak adanya pelatihan yang mendorong mereka untuk pengembangan diri. Oleh karena itu, lingkungan ini memerlukan bantuan pemecahan persoalan dalam menyediakan media pelatihan eco-preneur; Metode kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini menggunakan metode ceramah, pelatihan dan  teknik penanaman vertikultur organik serta evaluasi efektifitas dan efisiensi prototype tanaman sayur hias organik, yang telah dipraktekan oleh narasumber serta sesi tanya jawab. Pelatihan ini melibatkan dosen Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan yang bekerjasama dengan lembaga PKK Ibu di Perumahan Mustika Karang Satria Tambun Utara. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan pada pada hari/tanggal Senin-Selasa, 07-08 Februari 2020, pukul 09.00-13.00 WIB bertempat di Lingkungan Perumahan Mustika Karang Satria Tambun Utara, Kabupaten Bekasi.

Abstract

Research was conducted to explain the concept of quality control, understanding the role of human resources, and to know the implementation of quality control in education. Qualitative methods are used with the types of Descriptive Research. Results and discussion related to college research should be able to answer the needs of the labor problems of the present and the future. Human resources efforts in quality control can run effectively and efficiently, then the necessary planning are clear, complete and integrated. Therefore, an increase in the quality of education is not just the responsibility of the Government/State, but will be a shared responsibility between all components of the nation in realizing national development in education.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the application, fulfillment, and control of quality standards and their implementation in the world of education. Qualitative methods are used with Descriptive Research types. The results and discussion of efforts to maintain the quality of education are difficult to release in relation to quality management. In quality management all management functions carried out by education managers are directed so that all services provided to the maximum extent possible or exceed customer expectations. In connection with these efforts, efforts are needed to control quality or quality control. In the perspective of quality management, controlling the quality of a product after it is produced can face the risk of a number of products that do not meet the expected standards. Abstract

Economic growth in Indonesia is also influenced by education. Therefore the importance of the meaning of education for economic growth in Indonesia by increasing the productivity of learning so that the successors of the nation who are still learning can better understand the science of economics and can improve the economy diindonesia that is down. With the increasing economic needs of the day, the educational factors that will help the economic growth, because with education that will produce the qualities of Human Resources (HR) is more professional both for the industrial sector and agricultural sector, and from there will impact and affect the economic growth of the nation of Indonesia in the future.

Abstract

Education is a very important factor in human life, so the process of developing human resources must be carried out by increasing knowledge, skills and attitudes and values so that they can adapt to their environment. Qualitative Research Approach and Type of Descriptive Research, with a view to obtaining an overview of the dimensions of correlativeness of the synergy of the Role of Educational Resources as the Determinants in the Management of the Education System in this study. With the hope of building a whole substantive thought (not dichotomous and partial). After finding qualitative data, to be analyzed based on observations or findings that exist in the field. The results of this study indicate that the problem of human resources is very dominant in the Process of education / learning, this also means that managing human resources is a very important field in carrying out the learning process in schools.

Abstract

This study research aimed to determine: (1) the headmaster's role in improving the management of educational facilities at Insani Islamia Integrated Islamic Elementary School Tambun Bekasi; (2) the headmaster’s strategy in improving the management of educational facilities at Insani Islamia Integrated Islamic Elementary School Tambun Bekasi.This research was in April to May 2016 at Insani Islamia Integrated Islamic Elementary School Tambun Bekasi. The subjects were the headmaster’s and III grade and V grade class teachers. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or information. The examination of the validity of data used a test of the credibility of the triangulation consisted of source triangulation and triangulation techniques, dependability test, and confirmability test.

Abstract

The problems of students show that the values of Pancasila have been eroded in life in society, nation, and state. Therefore, it is necessary to find alternative solutions to various problems, by showing the importance of Pancasila education learning in educational institutions. This is intended to equip students to understand and try to fix some of these problems. In this case, it is necessary to have problem-solving through Pancasila Education learning activities by using the Reflective Learning Model. The research aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education course, Faculty of Law, Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya. The research was conducted by doing learning actions, and how to make observations. Initial results are expected to bring awareness of students about the importance of Pancasila Education which aims to improve learning outcomes. Furthermore, several preparatory steps are arranged for observing the learning action. Researchers carried out observations of learning in the classroom with a Reflective learning model, by the actions planned in the study. Activities carried out by lecturers who have been provided with observation guidelines by recording all research activities from introduction, development, application, closing and writing additional information that has not occurred such as initiatives and reactions, both from researchers and students, as well as providing conclusions and general suggestions of actions which are conducted. The observation time was adjusted to the Pancasila Education course hours at the Faculty of Law, Bhayangkara University Jakarta Raya

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and understand (1) the process of improving scientific essay writing skills through a heutagogical approach to online learning and (2) the effectiveness of applying the heutagogical approach to improving students' scientific essay writing skills. The method used is action research. The research was conducted on students at a university in Jakarta, Indonesia. This research is participatory and collaborative and takes place in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data were collected through writing tests and observations. The writing test results were assessed using the speech writing assessment guidelines. The results showed that applying the heutagogical approach in online learning could improve students' scientific essay writing skills. The mean score on the initial test was 67.88, with only 37.2% getting a score of 75. In the first cycle, the average value increased to 74.49 with a success percentage of 60.5, and in the second cycle, the average value increased to 78.95 with a success percentage of 81.4%. From the research results, it can be concluded that the heutagogical approach can improve students' scientific writing skills.
