Abstract

Telah dilakukan pembuatan sistem electrospinning untuk mensintesis nanofiber. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat electrospinning dengan memodifikasi syringe pump yang dapat bergerak kanan-kiri dan menggunakan collector silinder. Pengujian sistem electrospinning dilakukan dalam pembuatan nanofiber Polivinil Alkohol (PVA) 10%. Struktur dan morfologi nanofiber PVA dikarakterisasi menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Hasil SEM menunjukkan bahwa nanofiber PVA relatif seragam dengan ukuran diameter rata-rata (147,85 ± 24,73) nm. Hasil nanofiber pada penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan diberbagai aplikasi.

Abstract

Fabrication of inducting heating system for heating treatment in S50C materials have been done. This inducting heating system has dimensions of 350x230x200 mm, the input voltage of 12 VDC, equipped with a timer control and ampere meter as an indicator of output current. Inducting heating system testing on the material S50C was done by varying tempering process (30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 s). Hardness and microstructure test using Auto Vikers Future Tech type FV-300. The results showed that the hardness increased with increasing tempering time from 191 Hv to 572 Hv. S50C materials microstructure was transformed from ferrite and pearlite phase into martensite phase.

Abstract

Judul: Rancang bangun pembangkit listrik tenaga sampah (PLTSa) di lingkungan Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang Title: Design and build a waste power plant (WPP) at the University of Singaperbangsa KarawangSampah merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang terus dicari solusinya. Volume sampah dari hari ke hari terus meningkat dan menjadi masalah yang serius di Kota Karawang khususnya lingkungan Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Salah satu pemanfaatan sampah yaitu mengubahnya menjadi energi listrik. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengolah sampah menjadi energi listrik yaitu dengan menggunakan pembangkit listrik tenaga sampah (PLTSa). Pembangkit listrik tenaga sampah terdiri dari komponen-komponen utama seperti boiler, incinerator, turbin, generator, control panel, dan juga rangka utama. Material yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat PLTSa adalah plat stainless steel, plat besi, besi behel, kuningan, besi L, besi hollow, batu bata, semen, pipa besi, dan pipa stainless steel. Dalam proses pengujian didapat data pembakaran dengan sampah heterogen atau campuran selama 180 menit didapat tekanan maksimal 5 bar, temperatur ruang bakar 162,2°C, dan menghasilkan tegangan alternator sebesar 21,9 volt. Pada pembakaran dengan kayu selama 135 menit didapat tekanan 5 bar dan temperatur ruang bakar 205,4 menghasilkan tegangan alternator 22,1 volt.Garbage is one of the issues that are still being resolved. The trash volume continues to grow and has developed into a severe issue in Karawang, particularly at the University of Singaperbangsa Karawang. Converting trash into electrical energy is one of the waste applications. Utilizing a waste power plant (WPP) is one method of converting garbage to electrical energy. The waste energy plant comprises many significant components, including boilers, incinerators, turbines, generators, control panels, and the mainframe. Stainless steel plates, iron plates, stirrup iron, brass, L iron, hollow iron, bricks, cement, iron pipes, and stainless steel pipes are the materials required to manufacture WPP. The test procedure produced a maximum pressure of 5 bar, a combustion chamber temperature of 162.2°C, and an alternator voltage of 21.9 volts using data acquired from 180 minutes of burning with heterogeneous or mixed trash. After 135 minutes of burning wood, the pressure in the combustion chamber is 5 bars, and the temperature is 205.4 degrees, producing an alternator voltage of 22.1 volts.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSektor pertanian di sektor garam saat ini memerlukan perhatian kusus. Para petambak garam membutuhkan mesin yang kuat dan tahan korosi dengan berbahan dasar stainless steel kode SUS 316L. Saat ini, bahan stainless steel SUS 316L banyak digunakan dalam pengolahan makanan, minuman dan jenis bahan kimia lainnya yang membutuhkan sifat higienis. Maka tujuan dari kegiatan ini membuat mesin penghalus dan pengaduk garam dengan bahan stainless steel SUS 316L. Dari hasil data yang diperoleh dari pengujian mesin, dapat disimpulkan bahwa mesin penghalus dan pengaduk garam memiliki kecepatan maksimum 3800 rpm dapat menghaluskan garam dengan tingkat yang sangat halus dari 50 sampai 100% tergantung pada nilai kerapatan. Metode pelaksanaan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dengan tahap akhir merealisasikan alat yang dibuat. Hasil yang dicapai pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan mesin penghalus dan pengaduk garam berbahan stainless steel SUS 316L. Sehingga sangat berguna bagi para petambak garam di Desa Muarabaru Kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan karena dapat meningkatkan nilai jual garam para petambak. Kata kunci: mesin penghalus dan pengaduk garam; stainless steel SUS 316L; petambak garam ABSTRACTThe agricultural sector in the salt sector currently requires special attention. At present, SUS 316L stainless steel material is widely used in processing food, beverages and other types of chemicals that require hygienic properties. Then the purpose of this activity makes the resilient machine and stirring salt with SUS 316L stainless steel. From the results of the data obtained from testing machines, it can be concluded that the resilient machine and salt stirrer have a maximum speed of 3800 rpm can smooth the salt with a very subtle level of 50 to 100% depending on the value of density. The method of implementation of this activity is training with the final stage of realizing the tools made. The results achieved by the community to the community were carried out by providing resilient machines and stainless steel stainless steel sus 316L. So it is very useful for salt farmers in the village of Muarabaru District Cilamaya Wetan because it can increase the value of salt salt farmers. Keywords: salt refining and stirring machine; stainless steel SUS 316L; salt farmers

Abstract

ABSTRAKTelah dibuat sebuah mesin untuk mencuci garam yang digunakan oleh petani di Desa Muarabaru kecamatan Cilamaya Wetan Kabupaten Karawang,  dengan Bahan dasar menggunakan material SUS 316L. Dari data mesin yang dibuat  mesin pencuci ini  memiliki kecepatan mesin pengerolan maksimal 3800 rpm sedangkan kapasitasmesin tersebut bisa mencuci garan dengan kapasitas 100 kg/jam. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perkonomian dibidang pengolahan garam sehingga garam yang dihasilkan bisa dipasarkan dengan nilai jual yang tinggi. Dari hasil pengujian mesin pencuci garam ini mempunyai efisiensi 85% bisa dikatakan performance dari mesin tersebut baik dan bisa digunakan oleh petani pengolah garam. Kata kunci: mesin pencuci garam; material SUS 316L; efisiensi mesin. ABSTRACTA machine for washing salt used by farmers in Muarabaru Village, Cilamaya Wetan District, Karawang Regency has been made, with the basic material using SUS 316L material. From the data, the machine made by this washing machine has a maximum rolling machine speed of 3800 rpm, while the capacity of the machine can wash guarantees with a capacity of 100 kg/hour. The implementation of this Community Service aims to improve the economy in the field of salt processing so that the salt produced can be marketed with a high selling value. From the results of testing this salt washing machine has an efficiency of 85%, it can be said that the performance of the machine is good and can be used by salt processing farmers. Keywords: salt washing machine; SUS 316L material; machine efficiency.

Abstract

The clutch is a component of a mechanical system to transmit the rotational force of a motor or generating machine to the shaft which is connected to other mechanical components. In the mechanical world there are several types of couplings used in mechanical systems, namely: non-fixed couplings and fixed couplings. the clutch remains a clutch that does not allow it to be released while the engine is still running. This type of clutch is usually connected using bolts. So the stresses that occur in this coupling are usually mostly shear stresses on the bolts. This change focuses on bolts and nuts as a fixed coupling connection. Planning of nuts and bolts on flange couplings is a basic requirement that is really needed in this planning, carried out using experimental methods, by analyzing the dimensions, physical quantities of the planning components of nuts and bolts. Based on the results of calculations from the design of the flange coupling, the following data are obtained: Bolt Type = M20, Pitch Distance = 2.5 mm, Outside diameter (db) = 20 mm

Abstract

The Manufacturing Industry is currently growing very rapidly, starting from systems, machines and other supporting equipment that make the current manufacturing industry very effective and efficient. maintenance plays an important role in maintaining the performance of the machines used in order to remain in optimal conditions, and there is no decrease in the quality of production results. The purpose of this study was to analyze the damage that occurred on the al pin 350 lathe at the Pusat Teknologi dan Keselamatan Reaktor Nuklir (PTKRN) workshop, the method to be used was Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). During the inspection of all components from the spindle to the chuck, it was found that the Tailstock, Carriage, Toolpost, lighting and several components had problems. It is hoped that the data can be used as evaluation material for the company when it will carry out the maintenance process

Abstract

Brakes are components that are used to slow down or stop the rate of engine movement by converting motion into heat and regulating the speed of decreasing the load. (Sonawan, 2015:). The design of brake components is carried out in order to get the appropriate design results. Abstract

So a checking tool is needed to make it easier and speed up product checking time, namely Checking Fixture (CF). With the presence of tools, operator skills needed to check not too high. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang memicu lahirnya revolusi industri salah satunya adalah ditemukannya mesin uap atau boiler. Harga bahan bakar terus merangkak naik, maka banyak perusahaan berusaha untuk menekan pemakaian bahan bakar tanpa mengganggu proses produksinya. Metode untuk menaikan efisiensinya adalah dengan memanfaatkan gas panas yang terbuang dari cerobong bila temperaturnya masih cukup tinggi (diatas 200ºC). Gas buang tersebut dapat digunakan untuk memanaskan air pengisi boiler atau memanaskan udara pembakar bahan bakar boiler (ekonomiser). Ekonomiser adalah alat penukar kalor yang memindahkan gas asap hasil pembakaran ke air pengisian boiler. Pada penelitian ini fokus kepada analisis performa alat penukar panas shell and tube. Dari data yang diperoleh hasil analisis daya penukar panas adalah 165477 W. Hasilnya hampir sama dengan output dari program HTRI yaitu 166700 W. Kualitas alat penukar kalor yang direncanakan dapat dilihat dari nilai efektivitas dan faktor pengotoran dari alat yang direncanakan. Nilai efektivitas perencanaan ini bernilai 51 % dan faktor pengotoran bernilai 0,00289 ºC.m²/W.
