Abstract

Education nowadays is demanded to produce students who have beneficial skills of the 21st century in dealing with problems in the era of information and digital technology. Therefore, it is necessary to change the emphasis of learning patterns. In this paper, the results of the application of 21st-century skills in learning Basic Physics 1 in the Physics Education Study Program, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung using a scientific approach is presented. Learning activities were conducted based on low budget materials and ICT in the form of tracker software. The results showed that students were skilled in using tracker (90%), had science processing skills (excellent 5.2%, good 74.0%, and fair 20.8%), and fostered curiosity (92.0% ), careful attitude (92.2%), caring for the environment (73.0%), honest (93.0%), and cooperative (97.0%).

Abstract

Abstrak Fosfor BCNO yang terdispersi pada likuid telah berhasil disintesis menggunakan metode hidrotermal. Bahan dasar (prekursor) yang digunakan adalah asam borat [B(OH)3] sebagai sumber boron, urea [(NH2)2CO] sebagai sumber nitrogen, dan asam sitrat (C6H8O7)sebagai sumber karbon. Dalam penelitian ini, telah dilakukan variasi rasio molar nitrogen terhadap boron (N/B) dan rasio molar karbon terhadap boron (C/B) dan pengaruhnya terhadap pendaran fosfor BCNO yang dihasilkan. Hasil karakterisasi spektrum fotoluminesen dari sampel yang dibuat menunjukkan bahwa pendaran fosfor BCNO mempunyai puncak emisi tunggal disekitar warna biru (~450 nm) ketika dieksitasi dengan sinar UV(365 nm). Intensitas pendaran dipengaruhi oleh kadar karbon terhadap kandungan boron (C/B) dan kadar nitrogen terhadap kandungan boron (N/B). Penambahan kadar karbon dan nitrogen diketahui dapat meningkatkan intensitas pendaran. Sedangkan intensitas optimum pendaran fosfor BCNO dicapai pada saat ratio molar C/B = 1 dan N/B =20. Influence of Precursor Molar Ratio on the BCNO Photoluminescence synthesized by Hydrothermal Method Abstract BCNO phosphor which is dispersed into liquid has been successfully synthesized by using hydrothermal method. The precursor consists of the borate acid [B(OH)3] as boron source, urea [(NH2)2CO] as nitrogen source, and citric acid (C6H8O7) as carbon source. In this research, molar ratio variations of nitrogen and carbon  towards boron (N/B and C/B), and their influence on resulted BCNO phosphor luminescence were done. The characterization results of the sample shows the single peak of BCNO phorphorous luminescence around blue color (~450 nm) on the photoluminescence spectrum, when excited by UV light (365nm). The photoluminescence intensity was affected by the ratio N/B and C/B. The increase of carbon and nitrogen ratio can increase the photoluminescence intensity. The optimum intensity of BCNO phosphor photoluminescence was obtained at the molar ratio N/B = 20 and C/B =1. Keywords : BCNO phosphor, Photoluminescence spectrum, Hydrothermal method.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Fisika Dasar memiliki peran penting, khususnya bagi mahasiswa calon guru Madrasah Aliyah di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika. Namun, pada perkuliahan yang penting ini masih terdapat mahasiswa yang kesulitan pemahaman karena tidak tahu konsep maupun miskonsepsi. Untuk mengetahui hal tersebut, kami menggunakan teknik CRI (Certainty Response Index) yang dimodifikasi untuk menganalisis kesulitan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa calon guru Fisika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain yang dipilih adalah one shoot case study. Deskripsi dan interpretasi statistik digunakan untuk analisis data. Sampel yang dipilih, yaitu seluruh mahasiswa calon guru di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika semester 1 tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 90 orang. Berdasarkan teknik CRI yang dimodifikasi pada materi elastisitas dan gerak harmonik sederhana didapatkan kelompok tidak tahu konsep (36,8%) dan miskonsepsi (32,2%) selanjutnya tahu konsep (28,6%) dan sebagian kecil (2,5%) tahu konsep tetapi kurang yakin.

Abstract

Free fall motion in air medium is only influenced by gravitation acceleration. However, there are several variables that caused the observations to be different with the concept. Variables, such as air drag and terminal velocity, are often teachers not presented in detail, causing misconceptions. This study aims to develop a simple experiment on free fall motion by identifying air drag and terminal velocity. The data in this study is the video of free fall motion of paper and scraper analyzed using Tracker video analyze. From the video analyzed, information is obtained in the form of time (t), track (l, θ), and velocity (v) of the object. This study shows that the air drag force increase unto the terminal velocity. The calculation of the drag coefficient giving the number of the paper 2,16 and the scraper 2,10. According to data analyzed, the air drag force is affected by the mass (m), area (A), and the air drag force (FD) with the linear correlation until it reaches the terminal velocity. The result of this study may use as references of free fall motion experiment with other objects and analyze.

Abstract

Abstract The program of USAID PRIORITAS has a follow-up activity in form of accompaniment program. The accompaniment is committed to ensure that the teachers apply the training results. One of the accompaniments is carried out at MI Al Misbah Cipadung Bandung to apply module 3 related to skills of science. Focus of the accompaniment is to observe the feasibility of accompaniment activities, examine students’ skills in doing an experiment and making an experimental report. Data are acquired through observation and assessment rubric. The results of observation show that the teachers carry out six observed aspects, (setting of students’ seats, teachers’ role as facilitator, serving individual difference, paying attention to gender, the learning using the scientific approach, and students’ works), while the aspect of assessment of authenticity and literacy is not carried out. The average of students’ skills in carrying out and writing down the experiment belongs to good category.Abstrak Program USAID PRIORITAS memiliki aktifitas tindak lanjut berhubungan dengan pendampingan guru. Program pendampingan dibuat untuk memastikan para guru mengaplikasikan hasil pelatihan. Salah satu bentuk pendampingan dilaksanakan di MI Al Misbah Cipadung Bandung untuk mengaplikasikan modul 3 yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan sains. Focus dari pendampingan adalah mengobservasi kemungkinan dilaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan pendampingan, menguji kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan eksperimen dan menuliskan hasilnya. Data didapatkan melalui observasi dan penilaian berdasar rubric. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa para guru memiliki enam aspek, (mengatur tempat duduk siswa, guru sebagai fasilitator, memahami perbedaan individu, memperhatikan perbedaan gender secara merata, pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik, dan kerja siswa), di sisi lain otentisitas penilaian dan kemampuan literasi tidak digunakan. Abstract

Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, banyak peristiwa Gerak Melingkar Beraturan yang dapat kita temui. Dalam penelitian ini, kami mencoba untuk membuat alat peraga sederhana yang terkait dengan hubungan roda-roda dari alat dan bahan yang dapat kita temui dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuktikan hubungan roda-roda menggunakan aplikasi tracker. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan membuat alat peraga sederhana yang dianalisis melalui video menggunakan aplikasi tracker. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa roda-roda yang dihubungkan dengan tali memiliki kecepatan linear yang sama, akan tetapi untuk roda-roda sepusat kecepatan angularnya berbeda. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan dengan menggunakan alat dan bahan yang lebih baik dari yang kami gunakan.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan profil capaian pembelajaran dengan mennggunakan model Authentic Assessment Based on Teaching Learning Trajectory (AABTLT) with Student Activity Sheet (SAS) pada mata kuliah Fisika Dasar 1. Metode yang digunakan weak experiment dengan the one shoot case study design, yaitu ada dua kelompok mahasiswa yang diberi perlakuan presentasi-diskusi AABTLT with SAS pada materi gerak satu dimensi. Sampel penelitian adalah 70 orang mahasiswa yang mengikuti kuliah Fisika Dasar Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah SAS yaitu daftar jawaban mahasiswa terhadap pertanyaan, instruksi dan tagihan selama proses perkuliahan. Data yang diperoleh dari SAS akan dianalisis secara kuantitatif sederhana dan diinterpretasikan dengan teknik kualitatif. Penelitian ini menyimpukan bahwa (1) perkuliahan dengan presentasi dan penyajian model AABTLT dengan SAS dapat menggambarkan keefektifan, (2) terdapat perbedaan tingkat efektifitas capaian pembelajaran antara kedua kelompok mahasiswa kurang dari 10%. Kata Kunci:  Authentic Assessment Based on Teaching Learning Trajectory (AABTLT); Fisika Dasara; Student Activity Sheet (SAS)  AbstractThe purpose of this research is to get the learning achievement profile by using the Authentic Assessment Based on Teaching Learning Trajectory (AABTLT) model with the Student Activity Sheet (SAS) in 1st Basic Physics Course. The method used by the weak experiment with the one shoot case study design, there were two groups of students who were treated with AABTLT-SAS presentations on one-dimensional motion material. The sample of research is 70 students who attended 1st Basic Physics. The research instrument used is SAS which is the list of student answers to questions, instructions, and bills during the lecture. Data obtained from SAS will be analyzed in a simple quantitative manner and interpreted with qualitative techniques. This study concludes that (1) lectures with presentation and presentation of AABTLT model with SAS can describe the effectiveness of Basic Physics, (2) there is the difference of effectiveness level of learning achievement between both groups of students less than 10%.      Keywords: Authentic Assessment Based on Teaching Learning Trajectory (AABTLT); Basic Physics; Student Activity Sheet (SAS)
