Abstract

ABSTRACKOne of the strengths of Vocational High School compared to the general school is the students trainedto be entrepreneur. To support it, the learning model that needs to be developed is the character education forentrepreneurship. The purpose of this research is to gain the appropriate learning model to support charactereducation for entrepreneurship.This study was conducted by using grounded theory approach at Depok 2 VocationalHigh School, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The reserach subject was chosen by using snowball sampling technique throughthe setting of place, respondent and activitiy. Data analysis technique was using Miles Hubberman model.The result of the reserach showed that learning models to enhance character education for entrepreneurship atDepok 2 Vocational High School was using (a) role modelling,(b) Integrating learning inside and outside theclassroom, (c) school culture assimilization, (d) strengtening. This school needed to develop the learning modelfor entrepreneurship education which was synergic between character education and entrepreneurship learning.The integration was implmented by accomodating intervention: cultur:structure and figure. The implementationcovered: (1) classroom learning, (2) co curricul extracurricular, (3) learning through school culture, and (4)learning activities at home and in the community.Keywords: learning model, entrepreneurial character, vocational high schoolABSTRAK

Abstract

Realistic Mathematics Education atau Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (PMR) merupakan model pembelajaran kontekstual yang didesain khusus untuk Matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa bidang matematika melalui penerapan PMR dan (2) menganalisa hambatan – hambatan dalam penerapan PMR beserta solusinya. Metode yang digunakan aladah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom acation research) dengan mengambil subyek penelitan mahaiswa JTPSP yang mengambil mata kuliah matematika. Waktu penelitian mulai 29 Maret 2007 sampai 2 Nopember 2007 pada semester ganjil tahun 2007/2008. Analis data digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: (1) penerapan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Matematika Realistik pada mata kuliah matematika dapat meningkatkan pencapaian kompetensi mahasiswa dalam bidang matematika yang ditandai: (a) rerata prestasi mahasiswa meningkat (pemahaman mahasiswa tentang aplikasi model pembelajaran yang semakin meningkat (c) keaktifan mahasiswa semakin meningkat dalam mengkonstruksi pengetahuan (d) interaksi mahasiswa dengan dosen yang semakin tinggi (2) kendala yang dihadapi adalah tidak semua sub-sub kompetensi dapat dibuatkan model realistiknya sehingga terdapat beberapa sub kompetensi yang disampaikan tanpa model realistik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji penggunaan asbuton sebagai filler dalam campuran SMA beserta pengaruhnya terhadap karakteristik marshal yang meliputi: VITM, VFWA, Stabilitas, flow dan MQ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan menguji penggunaan asbuton sebagai filler dalam campuran SMA. Variasi kadar asbuton sebagai filler dibuat 4%, 4,5%, 5%, 5,5% dan 6%. Setiap varian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 3 benda uji sehingga jumlah sampel adalah 15 buah. Uji menggunakan Aspal yang digunakan Aspalt AC 80/100. Filler yang digunakan Asbuton mikro B30. Kadar aspal yang digunakan ditetapkan sebesar  7%. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) nilai VITM akan mengalami penurunan seiring bertambahnya kadar filler asbuton mikro, (2) penambahan filler asbuton kadar 4 – 5% akan meningkatkan nilai VFWA , namun pada kadar filler 5,5% dan 6% akan menurunkan nilai VFWA karena filler yang digunakan terlalu banyak sehingga persentase bitumen terhadap total aspal dalam campuran juga semakin besar, (3) penggunaan asbuton mikro filler pada campuran SMA memberi pengaruh menurunnya nilai stabilitas (4) penambahan filler asbuton mikro akan menaikkan nilai flow, hal ini terjadi karena dengan penambahan asbuton mikro kandungan aspal pada campuran akan bertambah, dan (5) nilai MQ mengalami penurunan seiring dengan bertambahnya kadar filler.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPumping method is the most frequently used to transport concrete verticallyin multistory building construction. However, such pumping method is still upagainst many problems: (1) the high performance of concrete requires a highquality of flowing concrete; (2) close-meshed framing causes difficulties indistributing the concrete. This research aims to clarify the influence of foundryfall height and cement type toward compressive strength and water absorptiondifference of flowing concrete.Two type of cements, Portland Cement (PC) and Portland PozzolandCement (PPC), were tested in this experimental research. Variation of foundryfall height is categorized into Oem, 35cm, 70cm, and 100cm. Compressivestrength and water absorption of each variant of flowing concrete was measuredafter reaches age of 90 days; three of test objects represent by one data.The research concludes that: (1) there is a compressive strength differenceof flowing concrete using both PC and PPC as the result of foundry fall height.Maximal compressive strength difference is reached at fall height of 100cm; forPC is 15.36% and PPC is 6.690/0. (2) there is a water absorption difference offlowing concrete as the result of foundry fall height using both PC and PPC.Maximal water absorption difference is reached at fall height of 100cm; for PCis 12.05% and PPC is 32.50%.Keywords: fall height, flowing concrete, compressive strength, water absorption,cement type

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to determine the entrepreneurial character education model through unitof productionandservicesof Engineering Construction Wood in SMKN 2 Pengasih. Research conducted using the phenomenological qualitative approach in SMKN 2 Pengasih concluded as follows. (1) The strategy used in character education in entrepreneurship through UPJ TKKY SMKN Pengasih includes: examples, learning, empowerment, habituation, strengthening, and assessment. (2) The character of entrepreneurship developed by UPJ TKKY consist of: (a) mindset includes: creative, innovative, and realistic, (b) heartset include: risk-taking, honesty, responsibility, curiosity, unyielding, independent, and strong motivation for success, (c) actionset include: hard work, action-oriented, communicative, teamwork, and discipline. (3) Model of entrepreneurial character education through UPJ TKKY in SMKN 2 Pengasih conducted through curricular activities and through the production process UPJ. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pendidikan karakter kewirausahaan yang dilakukan melalui UPJ Teknik Konstruksi Kayu (TKKY) di SMKN 2 Pengasih.Penelitian yang dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologisbertempat di SMKN 2 Pengasih ini menyimpulkan sebagai berikut. (1) Strategi yang digunakan dalam pendidikan karakter kewirausahaan melalui UPJ TKKY di SMKN 2 Pengasih meliputi: keteladanan, pembelajaran, pemberdayaan, pembiasaan, penguatan, dan penilaian. (2) Karakter kewirausahaan yang dikembangkan melalui UPJ TKKY terbagi menjadi: (a) ranah pola pikir (mindset)meliputi: kreatif, inovatif, dan realistis, (b) ranah pola rasa (heartset)meliputi: berani mengambil risiko, jujur, tanggung jawab, rasa ingin tahu, pantang menyerah, mandiri, dan motivasi kuat untuk sukses, (c) ranah pola tindakan (actionset)meliputi: kerja keras, berorientasi pada tindakan, komunikatif, kerja sama, dan disiplin. (3) Model pendidikan karakter kewirausahaan melalui UPJ TKKY di SMKN 2 Pengasih dilakukan melalui kegiatan kurikuler dan melalui kegiatan proses produksi UPJ. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan pengembangan Modul Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Perencanaan Perkerasan Jalan yang layak digunakan menjadi panduan belajar di perusahaan jasa konstruksi selaku peserta diklat. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan tahapan Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan)  dan Disseminat (Penyebaran). Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Uji validitas kelayakan modul dilakukan pada instrumen yang dituangkan dalam angket dengan teknik analisis data secara deskriptif. Dari hasil validasi. ahli materi menyatakan modul Perencanaan Perkerasan Jalan sudah memenuhi kriteria sangat layak karena sudah mencakup kompetensi yang dibutuhkan peserta diklat dengan jabatan pelaksana atau pengawas pekerjaan jalan, sementara validasi ahli media menyatakan modul sudah memenuhi kaidah media yang menarik, mudah diakses, dipahami sehingga sangat layak digunakan oleh peserta diklat Perencanaan Perkerasan Jalan.Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop a Road Pavement Planning Education and Training Module that is suitable to be used as a learning guide in construction service companies as training participants.. The method used is research and development (Research and Development) with the stages of Define (Definition), Design (Designing), Develop (Development) and Disseminate (Spread). The data collection technique uses observation, documentation and questionnaires. The module feasibility validity test was carried out on the instruments outlined in the questionnaire with descriptive data analysis techniques. From the validation results. The material expert stated that the Road Pavement Planning module met the very feasible criteria because it included the competencies needed by training participants with the position of implementing or supervising road works, while the validation of the media expert stated that the module had met the rules of media that was attractive, easy to access, understood so it was very suitable for use by Road Pavement Planning training participants

Abstract

The study was to describe the implementation of the entrepreneurial character education through the school culture in the vocational high schools (VHSs).The method that the researcher made use in the study was the qualitative one. The study was conducted in the 2 Depok Public Vocational High School and the 2 Pengasih Public Vocational High School. The data source in the study was the school members, the documents, and the school cultures. The data was collected by means of observation, interview, and documentation. For the instruments, the researcher made use of the human instrument and the interview guideline. The data was analyzed by using the open coding, the axial coding and the selective coding. The findings in the research were as folows: the entrepreneurial character education by means of the school culture implementation in the VHSs had been included in the entrepreneurship culture through: (1 ) the five artifacts in the verbal/conceptual dimension that might generate 17 dominant entrepreneurial characters; (2) the five artifacts in the action/behavioral dimension that might generate 8 dominant entrepreneurial characters; and (3) the four artifacts in the physical/material dimension that might generate seven dominant entrepreneurial characters.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan konsep strategi kepemimpinan pembelajaran. Perbedaan pembelajaran di SMK dengan SMA membawa konsekuensi strategi kepemimpinan pembelajaran yang berbeda pula. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis grounded theory. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, dan anggota komite sekolahsecara snowball. Orang kunci dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah. Objek penelitian adalah pelaku, konsep, tempat, dan kegiatan. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan kriteria kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan komfirmabilitas. Langkah-langkah dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Lichman (2011). Penelitian menemukan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan pembelajaran adalah: keteladanan, pembelajaran di kelas dan luar kelas, kultur sekolah, dan penguatan.Kata Kunci: strategi, kepemimpinan pembelajaran, implementasi kurikulum 2013THE STRATEGY OF INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP TOWARD THE IMPEMENTATION OF CURRICULUM 2013Abstract: Theresearch was aim to find the strategy concept of instructional leadership. Different between VHS and HS learning bring coonsequency different of strategy of instructional too. The research used was qualitative with grounded theory type. Research instrument is the researchers ourself. Data collecting technique were used deep-interview, participation observation, and documentation. Reseach subjects areprincipal, vice principals, and school committee members with snowball. Key informan is principal. Research objects are: persons, concept, place, and activities. Verification of data was done by credibility, transferability, dependability, and comfirmability criteria. Stage and data analysis were used the Lichman model (2011). Abstract

This study was aimed at obtaining a pratical and effective Entrepreneurship-Loaded Productive Learning model (ELPL model) for graduates of the building construction department of the vocational schools to become entrepreneurs of their expertises as technopreneurs. The study was research and development, focused on developing ELPL model. It was done through the following phases: review of the existing models, needs assessment for model development; third, evaluation of model implementability, revision of the ELPL draft, and limited try-out of the ELPL model in Grade XII of the Wood Construction of Vocational School 2, Pengasih, Kulon Progo. Findings show that the ELPL model is implementable for learning, practical, and effective to develop the entrepreneurship skills of the XII grade students in the Wood Construction Subjects at SMK 2 Pengasih, related to their expertise as technopreneurs. PPBK model is feasible to use in teaching and learning processPENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PRODUKTIF BERMUATAN KEWIRAUSAHAANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran kemampuan produktif bermuatan kewirausahaan (model PPBK) yang efektif dalam membekali lulusan SMK Program Keahlian Teknik Bangunan untuk menjadi wirausahawan sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya sebagai technopreneur. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research Development). Penelitian berorientasi pada pengembangan produk yaitu model PPBK. Penelitian dilakukan melalui lima tahapan yaitu: kajian model pembelajaran kemampuan produktif yang telah dilaksanakan, asesmen kebutuhan pengembangan model, penilaian keterlaksanaan model, revisi draf model PPBK, dan uji coba model PPBK. Uji coba model dilakukan  secara terbatas pada Kelas XII Paket Keahlian Teknik Konstruksi Kayu di SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih, Kulon Progo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PPBK yang dikembangkan terbukti dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran. Model PPBK praktis dan efektif untuk memberikan bekal kemampuan berwirausaha bagi siswa SMK Kelas XII Paket Keahlian Teknik Konstruksi Kayu di SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya sebagai technopreneur. Abstract

The paper  summarizes  the experimental  result of flexural  capacity of full scale reinforced concrete beam prepared  as a composite  members consisting  of two concrete layers  made of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced  Concrete (HFRC) and High Strength Concrete (HSC). Compressive  strength and modulus of elasticity test, splitting tensile, flexural  tensile tests conducted  to identify the important mechanical properties of both HFRC and HSC. Every mechanical properties data collected using 3 standard samples based on ASTM and SNI codes. 15 reinforced concrete beams in 150x250x2400 mm dimensions,  usedfor full  scale flexural   test of structural  RC beam.  The tests conducted  on 5 types of composite  beam: 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, and 0% of HSC cross sectional depth, combined with HFRC for the opposite sides.The experimental results indicated that HFRC shows higher modulus elasticity compared with HSC, it was 28618,611MPafor  HFRC,  and 21790,660 MPafor HSC. All types of composite  members  and full   depth  of HFRC  shows  higher first   crack  load  capacity compared  with HSC structural reinforced  concrete  beam. The first  crack  load capacity increase ranging from 29,753%  up to 33,267%. All types of composite  members and full depth of HFRC also shows higher maximum load capacity compared with HSC structural reinforced concrete beam. The first  crack load capacity  increase ranging from  11,284% up to 16,03%. Based on the experimental  test results, it can be suggested  to apply partial depth of HSC and HFRC; 50% HSC and 50% HFRC on static determinate  RC beam.Keywords:  Composite Reinforced Concrete Beam, HFRC, HSC, Full Scale Flexural  Test
