Abstract

This study aimed to know (1) correlation between learning motivation with the learning achievement of automotive vocational; (2) correlation between parents’ attention with the learning achievement of automotive vocational; and (3) correlation between learning motivation and attention parentstoward the learning achievement of automotive vocational among the eleventh grade students of state vocational school 2 Central Praya West Nusa Tengara in academic year 2014/2015. This study was ex-post facto research. Data collecting methods were questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis, first and second hypothesis testing used partial correlation and third hypothesis testing used double correlation. This study shows that (1) there was a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation with the learning achievement of automotive vocational among the eleventh grade students of state vocational school 2 Central Praya WestNusa Tengara in academic year 2014/2015 with the significant score 0,000 < 0,05; (2) there was a positive and significant correlation between attention parentswith the learning achievement of automotive vocational among the eleventh grade students of state vocational school 2 Central Praya Nusa Tengara Barat in academic year 2014/2015 with the significant score 0,000 < 0,05; and (3) there was a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation and parents’ attention toward the learning achievement of automotive vocational among the eleventh grade students of state vocational school 2 Central Praya WestNusa Tengara in academic year 2014/2015 with the significant score 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) to know what the application of methodics resitasi learning approaches can enhance the student’s activeness especially on the material knowledge; and (2) to know what the methodics resitasi approaches can enhance the academic result of student especially on the material knowledge. The hypothesis of this research is a methodics resitasi which can increase students  activeness and results of the study on student material knowledge at X grade SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan.The type of this research was an action research (PTK). The subjects in this study are students of X grade TPD of 31 students.  The data collection technique used observation sheets, test techniques, and documentation. Test instrument was implemented in class of X TPD SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan. Data analysis techniques used by a percentage to the activeness of the study and quantitative analysis techniques which include the average absorbance values.The result of the analysis can be described as follows: (1) the methodics resitasi can increase the activeness of the learners on learning subjects of material knowledge X grade SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan, Sleman. The  average activeness of the students was on the cycle I of 62,09%  rise to 82,72%  on cycle II ; and (2) learning activity used resitasi methodics can improve the students on material knowledge subjects of  X grade SMK Muhammadiyah Prambanan, Sleman. It can be seen from the average value of study on pre-test 55,16 rise on post-test cycle I became 79,67 on cycle II becomes 88,38, whereas if viewed from the pre-absorbance test increased by 16,12% following the action on the cycle I of 70,96%, rise in cycle II becomes 83,87%.

This study was ex-post facto research. Data collecting methods were questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis, first and second hypothesis testing used partial correlation and third hypothesis testing used double regression. This study shows that there was a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation with learning achievement of automotive vocational; (2) there was a positive and significant correlation between healthy live attitude with learning achievement of automotive vocational; and (3) there was a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation and healthy live attitude with learning achievement of automotive vocational.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe (1) correlation between automotive vocational learning with working interest; (2) correlation between entrepreneurship learning achievement with working interest of welding subject; and (3) correlation between automotive vocationallearning and entrepreneurship learning achievement with students’ working interest. This study was ex-post facto research. Data collecting methods were questionnaires and documentation. Data analyzing methods used descriptive analysis, first and second hypothesis testing used partial correlation and third hypothesis testing used double regression. This study shows that (1) there was a positive and significant correlation between automotive vocationallearning with learning achievement with the score of r obs = 0,308 with the significant score 0.015 < 0.05; (2) there was a positive and significant correlation between entrepreneurship  learning achievement  with working interest among with the score of r obs = 0,493 with the significant score 0.015 < 0.05; and (3) there was a positive and significant correlation between automotive vocationallearning and entrepreneurship  learning achievement  with working interest  with the significant score 0.000 < 0.05. The score of determinant coefficient (R2) 0.252, it means that automotive vocationallearning and entrepreneurship  learning achievement  gave a positive contribution 25.2% toward working interest, while 74.8 % was influenced by other factors that were not discussed in this study. The automotive vocationallearning gave contribution 12.08% toward students’ working interest and entrepreneurship learning achievement gave contribution 13.12% toward students’ working interest.

Abstract

The purpose of this research for increase activities and result study of XI TKR B students of Vocational High School Tamansiswa academic year 2015/2016 in electrical light vehicle. Type of this research is action research class, subject of this research is XI TKR B students amount 25 students and the object is increase activities and result of study in electrical light vehicle using guided discovery method. Data accumulator technique in this research using observation, interview, test, and documentation. Data analysis technique about students doing observation during learning activity, while the result of study conduct by calculating the average value and percentage that completed KKM. Result of this research showing after using guided discovery method, activeness and result of student learning increase. It can be seen pra-cycle condition students activeness percentage 44,8%, cycle I percentage of students of activity 62%, cycle II percentage of students activity 70,8%, cycle III percentage of students activity 83,6%, while students average value before activity 64,40 with percentage of completeness about 33,33%, cycle I student average score 7,04 with percentage of completeness about 76%, cycle II students average before increased to 7,56 with percentage of completeness about 88% and cycle III students average score increased to 7,84 with percentage of completeness about 96%.

Abstract

The objection of this study is to increase the level of interest and learning achievement about calculation of construction machinery subjects in the 11th grade of mechanical class of PIRI Sleman Vocational High School through the Lectora Inspire learning media. The type of this research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles. The research subject is mechanical class of PIRI Sleman Vocational High School, which includes fifteen male students. The data collection method is using the evaluation data which is collected through the learning achievement test, Beside that, the research is used to know the students interest in learning subjects Construction Engineering Calculations using a questionnaire. Data analysis method used is a comparative technique that compares the results of pre-test and post-test. The result showed that by using the Lectora Inspire learning media, the level of interests and learning achievement about calculation of construction machinery subjects in the 11th grade of mechanical class of PIRI Sleman Vocational High School was increased. In the first cycle, students interest reached about 64.87%, which is included in the high criteria. The initial competency of the subject obtained from the pre-test showing that there are three or 20% students have fulfilled the minimum achievement criteria, while twelve students or 80% students haven’t fulfilled it yet. The enhancement of student achievement in the first cycle, who passed the minimum achievement criteria is ten students with a percentage of 66.67% or the mean value is 75.07. For the second cycle of post test result showed the students who reached 75 point is thirteen students with a percentage of 86.67% or the mean value is 75.07. Overall, the interest level for study calculations of construction machinery in mechanical class of PIRI Sleman Vocational High School increased by 66.67%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) determine the use of methods of demonstration with Cutting Engine can increase students' motivation on the subjects of the ignition system for class XI student of SMK Industry, Yogyakarta, and (2) to use methods of demonstration with Cutting Engine can improve student learning outcomes in subjects ignition system for class XI student of SMK Industry, Yogyakarta. This research is a classroom action research. Data collection techniques used in this study questionnaires and tests. This study design is divided into four stages, namely: (1) Planning (planning); (2) Implementation of the action (acting); (3) Observation (observing); and (4) Reflection (reflecting). Analysis of the data in this studyinclude: questionnaires, nalisis test data, and interviews. The results showed that pre-cyclestudent learning achievement results before there is action that has reached KKM 42.31 and57.69% who have not reached the KKM. After the action on the first cycle evaluation test and the value of the learning activities using the demonstration method Cutting Engine to improve motivation and student learning outcomes ignition system obtained by the students with an average of 68.57 which has not reached the KKM. In the second cycle students value greatly increased compared with the cycle of action I. After evaluation test scores and grades the second cycle of learning activities using the demonstration method Cutting Engine to improve motivation and learning outcomes of students is the ignition system with an averageof 73.19, p this has reached the KKM

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) keminatan siswa tehadap sub-sub sektor industri kreatif dan (2) sub-sub sektor industri kreatif paling diminati siswa terhadap bidang industri kreatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif sederhana yaitu menghitung frekuensi dan presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) keminatan siswa terhadap sub-sub sektor industri kreatif termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 75,96%. Keminatan siswa terhadap sub-sub sektor industri kreatif meiliki tiga indikator, yaitu rasa ingin tahu, keinginan, dan sub-sub sektor industri kreatif. Indikator rasa ingin tahu termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 79,21%. Indikator keinginan dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 76,35%. Indikator sub-sub sektor industri kreatif termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 75,13%. (2) Hasil analisis di atas menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 2 sub sektor industri kreatif yang sangat diminati, yaitu fotografi dan musik, sedangkan 16 sub sekot industri lainnya cukup diminati, yaitu animasi; arsitektur; desain; kerajinan; kuliner; Mode; penelitian dan pengembangan; penerbitan; perfilman; periklanan; permainan interaktif; seni pertunjukan; seni rupa; teknologi informasi; televisi dan radio; dan video.  This study aims to determine (1) the interest of students to the sub-sectors of the creative industry and (2) the sub-sector of creative industries most interested students to the field of creative industries. This research is a descriptive research. Methods of data collection using survey method. Technique of taking data used questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use simple descriptive statistics that calculate the frequency and percentage. The results showed (1) the interest of students to the sub-sectors of creative industries included in the high category with the percentage of 75.96%. Student's interest in creative industry sub-sub-sector has three indicators, namely curiosity, desire, and sub-sector of creative industry. The curiosity indicator is included in the high category with 79.21% percentage. Desire indicator in high category with percentage 76.35%. Indicators of the creative industries sub-sector are included in the high category with the percentage of 75.13%. (2) The results of the analysis above show that there are 2 sub sectors of creative industry that are in great demand, that is photography and music, while 16 sub sekot of other industries are quite interested, that is animation; architecture; design; craft; culinary; Mode; research and development; publishing; cinema; advertising; interactive games; performing Arts; art; information Technology; television and radio; and videos.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the increase in learning outcomes of manufacturing engineering subjects in class XI Vocational School 3 Muhammadiyah  Yogyakarta. This research is Classroom Action Research. Subjects were students of class XI TP 1 of Vocational School 3 Muhammadiyah  Yogyakarta, amounting to 21 students, while the object of the research was the activity and learning outcomes of manufacturing drawing engineering subjects. The technique of collecting data uses observation, tests and documentation. The instruments used were learning outcomes tests and observation sheets. The data analysis technique uses quantitative analysis to determine learning outcomes.The results of this study indicate that the Project Based Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in the lathe machining engineering subjects of class XI Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta Vocational School, the average value of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 66.67% increasing to 78.81%, in the second cycle, then increased to 89.52% in the third cycle so as to reach the determined minimal completeness criteria.

Abstract

The research aims to obtain a description of: (1) supporting factors; and (2) Inhibiting factors for the online thesis exam using the zoom cloud meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic. This type of research is an evaluation using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, and Product). The research subjects were students of the study program of PVTM FKIP UST who had conducted an online thesis examination consisting of 28 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used an average analysis which was assessed based on the assessment category. The results showed that: (1) The supporting factors for the online thesis examination using Zoom Cloud Meeting were: (a) The context aspect of 3.22 was categorized as high; (b) the input aspect of 3.16 is categorized as high; (c) the process aspect of 3.04 is categorized as high; and (d) the product aspect is 3.42 which is categorized as very high; and (2) factors inhibiting the online thesis exam using Zoom Cloud Meeting, namely: (a) Weak internet connection; (b) There are obstacles during the examination process; and (c) Inefficient examination time
