Abstract

Lecturers in study programs make a major contribution to the quality of study program accreditation, particularly in the upcoming IAPS 4.0 completeness. The lecturer base needs to be managed through a concrete, transparent, structured, comprehensive, and accountable system. Lack of data management in lecturers at the Mechanical Engineering Education / PTM Study Program so far is still paperless based so that it is less effective, efficient, having to copy documents, and tends only to collect data close to the accreditation of study programs. This research aims: (1) to produce e-monitoring products on the performance of lecturers based on a cloud computing system; (2) knowing the level of feasibility of e-monitoring products on the performance of lecturers based on cloud computing system at PTM Study Program. The research method uses Research and Development (R&D), which adopts the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) model. The research sample was 11 PTM lecturers. Validators of eligibility included the chairman of the LPM and the chair of the UST IT team. The instruments used included questionnaires and documentation. This research succeeded in producing a product in the form of a cloud computing system with a private cloud type with the Platform As A Service (PaaS) model. The data used as an assessment of lecturer performance include governance, HR performance, education performance, research performance, and service performance. The results of expert assessments obtained an average of 91.25%, which shows that this system is very feasible to use. While the evaluation results of the system implementation showed that 90% of PTTM lecturers were able to understand and skillfully operate the cloud system, thus this system is very feasible to be used as e-monitoring of lecturer performance that is accurate, accountable, objective, and safe to use.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 menuntut bahwa pendidikan untuk keterampilan abad ke-21 saja tidaklah cukup, tetapi harus mempertimbangkan manajemen pembelajaran dalam aspek sosial dan pembelajaran virtual. E-Modul merupakan perwujudtan dalam menjawab tantangan tersebut sebagai media pembelajaran online yang menarik dan interaktif dengan memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mengefektifkan pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis lectora pada pembelajaran sistem rem. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research and Delevopment) dengan 4 tahap (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate). Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa XI TKR SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Playen sebanyak 30 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui kelayakan e-modul berbasis lectora. Hasil uji kelayakan e-modul sistem rem oleh ahli materi mendapatkan nilai sebesar 81% dikategorikan sangat baik, oleh ahli media sebesar 85% dikategorikan sangat baik, oleh uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 83% dikategorikan sangat baik, dan oleh uji coba kelompok besar nilai sebesar 79% dikategorikan baik. Dari hasil uji di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis lectora yang dikembangkan layak digunakan pada pembelajaran sistem rem.Kata kunci: e-modul, lectora, sistem rem

Abstract

The research objectives were to: (1) Describe the process of developing e-module lathe machining techniques for class XI SMK. (2) Knowing the feasibility of e-module lathe machining techniques class XI SMK. This research includes a mixed type of qualitative and quantitative research called research and development (Research and Development). The development of this teaching material uses the 4D research and development model which consists of the define , design , development and dissemination . The subjects in this study consisted of material experts and media experts, namely PVTM UST Yogyakarta study program lecturers, as well as class XI students majoring in Mechanical Engineering SMK as users of the developed learning media. Data collection techniques using Google Forms and observation. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. (3) The results of this study are e-modules/electronic modules for lathe machining techniques. The e-module was declared good for use based on due diligence according to material experts with a total percentage of 79.7%, media experts with a total percentage of 77.9%, small group test results with a total percentage of 79.6% and large group trials with a total percentage of 83.6%. (4) Based on these data, the class XI lathe machining technique e-module is very suitable for use in learning.
