Abstract

Reserves of fossil energy sources are starting to run low, so the government has launched renewable energy sources. The National Energy Policy (KEN) targets Indonesia by 2025 to use renewable energy sources of 23% of its energy needs. Because of this, the government has started opening places that have the potential for generating renewable energy, especially the areas where PLN electricity cannot reach, withincluding the southern coastal area of Kebumen.. The wind potential in this coastal area of Java Island meets the criteria for a Wind Power Plant. The purpose of this research was to analyze the wind potential in the southern coastal area of Kebumen. The specific purpose of this study was to determine the wind speed and the location and calculate the power generated by the wind in the southern coastal area of Kebumen to determine the potential of PLTB in Kebumen area. The stages of this research consisted of retrieval of secondary data, analysis using Excel, and power analysis using HOMER. Based on wind speed data from NASA, the southern coastal area of Kebumen is suitable for making PLTB, especially Buayan and Ayah, because the wind speed between 2016-2020 is 2.15 m/s. Then, the power produced annually in these places, based on the HOMER application, was 86.50 kWh/year.

Abstract

Tenaga air telah digunakan untuk berbagai kebutuhan tenaga (energi) sejak lama, mulai dari teknologi sederhana (seperti kincir air di pedesaan) hingga teknologi yang kompleks dengan menggunakan berbagai turbin. Ada banyak sungai di Kabupaten Garut di Jawa Barat yang bisa berkembang menjadi pembangkit listrik dari kecil hingga besar. Sungai Cilaki merupakan salah satu sungai yang dapat dimanfaatkan dan berpotensi untuk menghasilkan listrik pada skala hidroelektrik kecil. Studi kelayakan dimulai dengan analisis hidrologi, perhitungan daya dan energi, perencanaan peralatan mekanik dan listrik, analisis ekonomi dan analisis lingkungan. Hasil analisis hidrologi Sungai Cilaki menunjukkan bahwa sungai tersebut berpotensi memiliki debit tahunan yang stabil sebesar 4.2 m3 / dt dengan probabilitas debit 70%. Ketinggian pipa penstock PLTM ini adalah 100,5 m, sehingga efisiensi turbin masing-masing generator dengan turbin Francis horizontal adalah 90% dan masing-masing dapat menghasilkan 3500 kW dan 1576 kW. Hasil analisis finansial menunjukkan bahwa rencana pembangunan PLTM dengan biaya investasi Rp 63.660.430.800,00 layak karena NPV 39.528 dan IRR 19,69% masih lebih tinggi dari suku bunga pinjaman 14%.

Abstract

Saat ini, sepeda diakui secara internasional tidak hanya sebagai bentuk rekreasi tetapi juga sebagai sarana transportasi perkotaan dan promotor kesehatan yang baik. Sepeda listrik adalah alat transportasi yang memadukan manfaat dan Kesehatan dari sepeda konvensional dengan keunggulan kendaraan bermotor. Telah kita ketahui juga kendaraan listrik saat pertama kita diberikan tegangan/gas oleh pengemudi terdapat gaya tarik yang kuat atau bisa dikatakan ciri khas dari motor listrik yang mana tarikan tersebut merupakan lonjakan arus yang diberikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi lonjakan arus saat starting, lonjakan tersebut berbahaya dikarenakan dapat mengurangi umur pada motor listrik. Peneliti merancang mekanisme soft starting pada motor BLDC (Brushless DC) dengan cara merancang algoritma kontroler logika fuzzy dan pensaklaran enam tahapan pada rangkaian inverter. Hasil menunjukan bahwa lonjakan arus saat starting sebesar 4,42 Ampere. Kecepatan motor BLDC saat throttle full kecepatan menunjukan 332 rpm dengan respon transient masing-masing sistem sebesar 1.5 s. Ketika diberikan set point kecepatan berubah-ubah, putaran motor BLDC dapat mengikuti yaitu sebesar 88 rpm menuju 180 rpm, kemudian naik sebesar 258 rpm dan puncak sebesar 331 rpm, kemudian turn ke 25 rpm dan terakhir sebesar 145.8 rpm. Saat respon transien sistem layaknya seperti sistem step orde dua, tidak ada overshoot tetapi masih ada osilasi saat mau menuju steady state.

Abstract

Penitentiary (LP) is a correctional facility in which there are assisted residents consisting of convicts. The social organization aims to ensure that its assisted residents are aware of the mistakes that have been made before and can improve themselves so that they do not fall into the same mistakes. In order to achieve this goal, the government has formulated the concept of structured guidance, training and empowerment in the field of religion or expertise for assisted residents so that they can have the ability after leaving the correctional institution. One of the well-known Penitentiary (LP) is in Cilacap Regency, precisely on the island of Nusa Kambangan. The penitentiary is called Lapas Permisan Nusa Kambangan. In this institution there are trainings for assisted residents so that after leaving the prison they can have business opportunities or get jobs to support their daily lives. One of them is training in making calligraphy in the form of figures, batik, etc. To make this happen. Therefore the Electrical Engineering Study Program will conduct training activities on how to assemble a dot matrix and its control devices to make running text and prayer time schedules. This activity is a positive alternative for the assisted residents, increasing the abilities and insights that will be used when they graduate as assisted residents or leave the Permisan Nusa Kambangan Prison. This training was held for 3 meetings with the preparation of modules and lesson plans to be adjusted.

Abstract

Crane is a tool used to make it easier to move and lift an item. This research aims to create a mini crane system for optimizing the movement of goods based on industrial automation that utilizes PLC (programmable logic controller) as the controller and Pneumatik s as the actuator. This system uses a Mitsubishi PLC as the main controller. PLC works based on the input obtained from the selector switch to select a manual or automatic work system. There is a push button as a start and stop button, a limit switch as a limiter for the movement of the X and Y axes of the Rodless Cylinder to move items, proximity sensors to detect the presence of items to be moved and those that have been moved. In the results of this study, the sensor used to detect the type of workpiece material uses an inductive proximity sensor. In one crane process takes a maximum of 15.37 seconds. The maximum weight that a vacuum can suck at a pressure of 3 bar is 650g, at a pressure of 4 bar it is 950g, and at a pressure of 6 bar it is 1059g.

Abstract

Pengaturan kecepatan motor induksi relatif sulit, karena torsi dan fluks yang dihasilkan saling berkaitan. Selain itu untuk mengatur kecepatan diperlukan inverter sebagai aktuator. Keluaran inverter bukan sinyal sinusoidal murni tetapi hasil dari pensaklaran. Oleh karena itu diperlukan metode pensaklaran untuk dapat memperbaiki sinyal keluaran inverter agar dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengatur kecepatan motor induksi.  Pada penelitian ini metode indirect vector control diterapkan untuk pengaturan kecepatan dan menggabungkan metode SVPWM (Space vector pulse width modulation) dengan Hystesesis sehingga menjadi metode hysteresis space vector pulse width modulation (HSVPWM). Hasil simulasi pengaturan kecepatan motor induksi tiga fasa menggunakan metode indirect vector control berhasil diterapkan yaitu dapat mengikuti set point sebesar 600 rpm dengan rise time 0.527 detik, steady state 0.723 detik dengan overshoot sebesaar 0.8%. Ripple arus keluaran pada inverter menggunakan metode HSVPWM dapat berkurang 65%. Effisiensi motor induksi menggunakan metode HSVPWM yang semula 91% dapat ditingkatkan menjadi 94% atau kenaikan 3%. Kata Kunci -Indirect Vector Control, Space vector pulse width modulation, Hysteresis Band, Inverter, Motor Induksi

Abstract

The current situation demands the prevention of the spread of the virus, one of which is by wearing a mask and checking the body temperature. This paper serves as a means of detecting the body temperature by using a thermal camera and the mask with a web camera. The camera is the sensor, and a buzzer is an actuator that go off automatically. A mask detection device is a tool that detects visitors who wear masks. It works by detecting the visitor's face using a camera and Open CV or digital image processing. Then, the data will be processed and compared to the one that has been input into the program. This program is able to detect masks and provide warnings if the visitors do not wear masks in a public space. When the body temperature detector detects a visitor of the normal category, which is 36˚C - 37.5˚C, the buzzer does not go off; when the body temperature is higher than 37.5˚C, the buzzer goes off automatically. An error occurred due to the dark conditions, and from the five trials with 100 cm distance, 60% of the trials were successful. Therefore, it was concluded that the testing of the mask detector succeeded with more than 60% success when the lighting was sufficient; and the distance ranged from 100 cm. This system experiment with five experiments on each sample obtained pretty good results. To get good results, the light determination is very influential.

Abstract

Desa Widarapayung Wetan merupakan salah satu desa yang ditunjuk sebagai desa inovasi di kabupaten Cilacap berdasarkan Keputusan Bupati Cilacap Nomor:071/545/27/Tahun 2014 tentang Penetapan Desa Inovasi Kabupaten Cilacap. Lokasi yang strategis berada di pesisir pantai, dengan beragam potensi mulai dari perikanan, pertanian, pariwisata dan memiliki akses yang mudah menjadi alasan di pilihnya Desa Widarapayung sebagai salah satu desa inovasi di Kabupaten Cilacap. Pengembangan Desa Wisata ini mengalami berbagai hambatan diantaranya minimnya sumber pendanaan, konsep desa wisata yang akan dibangun belum matang dan belum adanya pendampingan dari akdemisi dalam mewujudkan desa wisata. Politeknik Negeri Cilacap (PNC) sebagai perguruan tinggi yang berada di Kabupaten Cilacap secara tidak langsung mempunyai kewajiban menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan untuk kemajuan wilayahnya. PNC melalui kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat diberikan amanah oleh Bappeda Kabupaten Cilacap untuk melakukan pendampingan dalam mewujudkan desa wisata di Desa Widarapayung. Konsep desa wisata yang diambil adalah mensinergikan budaya lokal seperti sentra tari dan gamelan dengan perangkat teknologi berupa penyediaan sumber energi listrik alternatif dari Photovoltaic (PV). Pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini juga dilakukan pelatihan instalasi listrik dengan sumber energi dari PV untuk remaja karang taruna Desa Widarapayung. Hasil dari implementasi teknologi ini dapat menurunkan tagihan listrik di rintisan desa wisata sebesar 40%. Kata kunci: desa wisata, photovoltaic, energi listrik, widarapayung, desa inovasi ABSTRACT Widarapayung Wetan Village is one of the villages designated as an innovation village in Cilacap district based on the Decree of the Cilacap Regent Number: 071/545/27/2014 concerning the Establishment of an Innovation Village in Cilacap Regency. Its strategic location on the coast, with various potentials ranging from fisheries, agriculture, tourism and having easy access is the reason for choosing Widarapayung Village as one of the innovation villages in Cilacap Regency. The development of this tourist village has encountered various obstacles including the lack of funding sources, the concept of a tourist village to be built is not yet mature and there is no assistance from academics in realizing a tourist village. Cilacap State Polytechnic (PNC) as a university located in Cilacap Regency indirectly has the obligation to disseminate knowledge for the advancement of its region. PNC through Community Service activities was given a mandate by the Cilacap Regency Bappeda to provide assistance in realizing a tourist village in Widarapayung Village. The concept of a tourist village that is taken is to synergize local culture such as dance and gamelan centers with technological devices in the form of providing alternative sources of electrical energy from Photovoltaic (PV). In this community service activity, training on electrical installations with energy sources from PV was also carried out for youth youth in Widarapayung Village. The results of the implementation of this technology can reduce electricity bills in pioneering tourism villages by 40%. Abstract

Omni-directional mobile robot (OMR) is a robot that can move in all directions with an additional wheel around the core wheel. This research presents a PID controller method at the OMR plant with the specific purpose of getting to the specified point. OMR uses three wheels with an angle difference of 120 degrees. The application of this method using MATLAB assistance from knowing the kinematics to the performance results from the application of the control method. The stages of this research are robot design, component selection, electrical design of the robot, determination of forward kinematic and reverse kinematic and determination of PID controller for positioning. Testing is done by determining the position and determining the point to be determined. Simulation time testing is when the state is at 3,6,9,12 and 15 seconds. The results of the simulation robot can follow the specified coordinates.

Abstract

Electrical energy is one of the most important energies in everyday life so high-voltage electrical equipment has a vital role in maintaining the reliability of electric power distribution. The corona effect is caused by insulation failure in high-rise equipment which results in disrupted electrical power distribution. The purpose of this research activity is to produce a multi-sensor tool to test the condition of equipment in distribution network booths that have experienced the corona phenomenon. The input data from several sensors used, such as the ozone sensor, will detect ozone gas exposed in the 20kv chamber, detection of ultraviolet light by the UV sensor module, and detection of sound frequency from the hissing of equipment through the microphone sensor experiencing corona will be processed by the Microcontroller and if the value is detected exceeds the reference value that has been set, the output in the form of an LCD will display a corona symptom warning message and instruct the buzzer alarm to sound. The results showed that the prototype of the corona detector was able to identify ozone levels with a maximum value of 21.88 ppb, the largest UV index value of 336, and a maximum hissing frequency of 157 dB in distribution cubicles that experienced the corona effect.
