Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of mind mapping techniques on writing procedure text skills. Theories that become the reference in this study are from Harsianti and Penguin, which are about the text of the procedure, the Deporter's opinion on the Mind Mapping Technique. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with factorial design. The populations in this study were all students of class VII MTsN Model Sungai Penuh, with the amount of the students are 122 students, with a total sample of 61 students consisting of 31 students of class VII.A and 30 students of class VII.B. The sampling technique is random sampling. Based on the analysis of the data obtained by the results of research that is mind mapping techniques are appropriate for learning in writing procedures for text writing procedures for students of class VII MTsN Model Sungai Penuh because with these techniques can improve students' skills in imagination and concentration as evidenced by the average value of class students the experiment was higher than the control class and statistical analysis showed F-count 108.9 > F table 20.60.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pertama, mendeskripsikan tindak tutur langsung dalam percakapan antara perawat dan pasien. Kedua, mendeskripsikan tindak tutur tidak langsung antara perawat dan pasien. Ketiga, mendekripsikan makna tuturan langsung dan tidak langsung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri disamping itu peneliti juga menggunakan alat alat perekam dan peralatan tulis lainnya, teknik analisis dengan cara sebagai berikut (1) mendengarkan data (2) merekam data (3) mentrasikripsikan data dalam berbentuk teks (4) memilih unit-unit data berdasarkan bentuknya. Langkah-langkah analisis data pada penelitian ini sebagai berikut: Menentukan unit-unit percakapan yang mengandung tindak tutur langsung dan tidak langsung, kemudian menentukan berdasarkan bentuk tindak tutur langsung dan tidak langsung (unit analisis data), menganalisis bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur langsung dan tidak langsung berdasarkan konteks tuturan, penarikan kesimpulan terhadap analisis bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur langsung dan tidak langsung dalam percakapan antara perawat dan pasien. Data penelitian ini berasal dari percakapan antara perawat dan pasien. Hasil penelitian tersebut adalah sebagai berikut ini. Pertama, terdapat tindak tutur langsung deklaratif ini sebanyak 9 tuturan, yang kedua terdapat tindak tutur langsung introgatif 23 tuturan, yang ketiga terdapat tindak tutur langsung imperatif 8 tuturan, untuk tindak tutur tidak langsung dalam percakapan antara perawat dan pasien di Puskesmas Semerap, tidak ditemukan. Keseluruhan tuturan yang digunakan adalah tindak tutur langung

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that oral literature in the form of Kunaung has ethics as a guideline for behavior in the life of the Kerinci community. The ethics contained in the kunaung serve as guidelines for behavior and the structure of the Kerinci family and community. However, due to the rapid development of science and technology today, oral literature like Kunaung has been neglected. For this reason, tactics are needed in order the existence of oral literature is not obsolete. research is done to answer the research questions which were: how was the embodiment of ethics in the family and society order found in Kunaung. This study aimed to describe the ethics found in Kunaung both in the family and society order. The method used in this research was descriptive method which described ethics both in the family and social order in Kunaung. The research data was in the form of sentences and paragraphs both in narrative and dialogue form. This data was collected based on qualitative methods. Ethics in Kunaung appear implicitly both in the family and social order. The ethics that appeared implicitly in the family order were affection, devotion to parents and responsibility. Meanwhile, ethics in the social order that appeared implicitly were mutual cooperation, adherence to traditional institutions, and wisdom. The results of this study academically provide information to reader about ethics in the Kerinci family and society in kunaung, to add the repertoire of oral literature regarding ethics in the Kerinci’s family and society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh Model Discovery Learning terhadap keterampilan menulis teks fabel. Teori yang menjadi acuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Harsianti Tarigan (2008) tentang menulis, pendapat Roestiyah (2001) tentang model Discovery Learning Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain faktorial (factorial design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 36 Kerinci yang berjumlah 46 siswa dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 18 siswa yang terdiri dari 9 siswa kelas VII.A dan 9 siswa kelas VII.B. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah random sampling (secara acak). Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu model Discovery Learning tepat digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks fabel siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 36 Kerinci karena dengan model tersebut dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam berimajinasi dan berkosentrasi yang dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol dan analisis statistik menunjukkan dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas eksperimen 84,33 dapat memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu (75) dan kelas kontrol 81,67. Dari hasil tersebut bahwa model discovery learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis teks fabel.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pada umumnya mahasiswa yang sedang menulis skripsi sering mengalami kesulitan. Kesulitan yang dihadapi sangatlah beragam, mulai dari kurang memahami permasalahan yang akan diteliti, terbatasnya referensi, kurang menguasai teori, belum memiliki keinginan untuk memulai menulis, sibuk bekerja,dan sebagainya. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menganalisis kesulitan mahasiswa semester VII dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VII atau tingkat akhir yang sedang bimbingan skripsi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Angket kesulitan diberikan kepada mahasiswa yang sedang menulis skripsi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik persentase dan selanjutnya dideskripsikan. Hasil penelitian secara umum diperoleh informasi mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menuangkan ide ke dalam tulisan ilmiah yakni sekitar 58,47 %. Penggunaan ilmu statistik dalam pengolahan data yakni dengan persentase 41,64%, serta menarasikan hasil penelitian yani dengan persentase 54,17 %. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan, informasi dan referensi kepada seluruh mahasiswa STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh sehingga faktor-faktor kesulitan mahasiswa dalam penyelesaian skripsi akan bisa diatasi.Abstract: Generally most of the students had difficulties in writing their  thesis. They had various difficulties such as lack of knowledge in understanding their research problems, lack of related literature, lack of understanding of the theory. They also didn’t have motivation in writing their thesis. Further, some of them were also busy with their job so they didn’t have enough time to finish their thesis, and others reasons that made it difficult for them in writing their thesis. The aimed of this research is to analyze the difficulties that faced by VII Semester students in writing their thesis. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The participants of this research were the VII grade students who were in process of writing their thesis. In collecting the data the researcher used questionnaire as the research instrument. It was given to the students who were in process of writing their thesis. Moreover in analyzing the data, the researcher used percentage technique, and then describes the result descriptively. The result of this research showed that 58,47% of the students had difficulties in writing their ideas in the thesis.  Others 41,64% had difficulties in using statistic to analyze the data. Further, 54,17% had difficulties in describing their research result. Hopefully, the research of this research could be an input, information, and reference for all of STKIP Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh students. It could help them to reduce the difficulties they faced in writing a thesis.

Abstract

The author was interested in analyzing this novel because it was very interesting and the storyline is related to our social life. It talked about a person lived during the colonial period and his struggle in achieving the independence through education. With education the spirit of nationalism and national awakening could be arised. It could be used as a guide for people lived in modern times. Education is very important, because through education people will have better understanding about their nation as well as a broad view about it. It would lead them to think about the future and independence of their nation. This study aimed to appreciate literary work by reading, studying, enjoying the story line and analyzing the novel. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, using a sociological study of literature. In the study of literature sociology, it discussed about 1). Religious value 2). Social community 3) Socio-cultural 4) and 5) Educational Value. The results of the research could be concluded that Aguk Irawan talked about nationalism based on historical documents of the Indonesian Independence day, which written in literary language. The biography novel of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari Aguk Irawan described nationalism in form of an effort to expel the invaders, by providing nationalism education to the next generation, encouraging all elements of the nation, or expelling the invaders by lifting up the weapons.

Abstract

This research is based on anecdote text writing ability. Most of the students had difficulties when they write an anecdote text. Most of them were unmotivated to write immediately. Beside that, some students’ score in writing were also low. It can be seen from their score which were below the KKM. Even though the teaching techniques chosen and practiced by the teacher in teaching writing greatly impact the learning achievement of the students, some of the them were not able to present the writing material in an interesting, inspiring and creative way. This learning model made it hard for the students to write the anecdote text. The theories used as the references in this research were Isjoni’s opinion about cooperative learning model and Kebol’s about the anecdote text. This research was an experimental research. The research population was grade X students which consist of 2 classes with the total number of students was 40 students. The sample of this research was taken by doing random sampling. X MIPA 1 class was chosen as the experimental class. In other hand X MIPA 2 was chosen as the control class. Each of this class was consisted of 20 students. The result of this research showed that the cooperative learning model of the Make A Match type is appropriate for learning to write anecdotal texts for class X students of SMA Negeri 5 Kerinci because this model can influence writing skills. It was proven by average score of students in the experimental class, 87.60, which is higher than the control class, which is 76.75.Based on the research result we can conclude that Make A match type of cooperative learning model has significant effect on students’ ability in writing anecdote text at grade X SMAN 5 Kerinci

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher's problems in implementing the independent curriculum in schools. This study uses a literature review or literature review approach. The results of this study indicate that there are many problems that become obstacles for teachers in schools. In the independent learning curriculum, teachers are more required to be creative in making or designing the learning process so that learning goes according to what is determined by the Minister of Education. The results showed that: First, SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Full has implemented the Independent Learning Curriculum by implementing project-based learning, diagnostic, formative and summative assessments in learning. Second, the teacher's problems in implementing the Free Learning Curriculum in planning, implementing and evaluating learning are difficulties analyzing CP, formulating TP and compiling ATP and Teaching Modules, determining learning methods and strategies, lack of ability to use technology, lack of ability to use learning methods and media, materials teaching is too broad, determine the class project.

Abstract

The Role of the Movement Teacher In Realizing Profile Of Pancasila In School. In the current era, there are four major challenges in the world of education, including problems related to the noble values and morals of the nation; the need for maturity to become a citizen; support the realization of social justice and the creation of 21st century competence. To face these challenges, the government established a Teacher Motivator program to launch the Pancasila Student Profile. The goal of this research was to uncovered the role of the teacher in the development of students’ profiles at Pancasila in order to realized resilience in character education in the twenty-first century so that Indonesians could compete globally. What were the rights and responsibilities of a teacher-mover in carrying out the process of education to strengthened the profile of students in Pancasila. What importance should the master drive had in realizing the resilience of character education in the twenty-first century. This was a normative study; the research phase of the study of literature and the deductive analysis. The conceptual approach and the legislative approach were two types of research approaches used by researchers. Researchers conducted research on what the role of the teacher was in the effort to strengthened the profile of Pancasila students on the students as an effort to resilience character education in the twenty-first century. Researchers were also employing the literature method and interview with teacher. . The results of this study were the Master Drive had an important role in shaping the resilience of the character of their students. Such a role, which was to became the leader of learning that encourages the well- being ecosystem education in schools, moving the learning community (to the practitioner community) for co-teachers in the school and in its territory, becoming a teacher practice (coach) for his other teacher related to the development of learning in schools, Open space discussions and positive space of collaboration between teachers and stakeholders in and outside of school to improved the quality of learning, and encourage the improvement of students ‘ leadership in school.
