Abstract

Multiple scattering in the plasma present doe to movement of charged particle influenced by Coulomb interaction between charged particles in the plasma. Research on multiple scattering among influences of effective field on the multiple scattering, lost energy due to scattering processes, the aims of this study are to determine the scattered wave function, multiple scattering cross-sections and scattered electron energy. The understanding of the electron scattering in the plasma in this study using the optical approximation that is application of wave properties of electron. The calculation of  scattered wave function is using first Born approximation, by taking the scattering potential energy is the summary of potential energy of electron by interaction with each ions that present in the plasma sphere. Electron wave function after scattered is changes, though the direction is same with the direction of initial electron coming, presence a reduction in amplitude as a function of the distance the wave trajectory. Abstract

Abstrak Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran digunakan sebagai alat penunjang yang dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Media pembelajaran dapat menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Memberikan pengetahuan teoritis kepada guru-guru TK Islam Al-Ghazali Tangerang Selatan tentang pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran sains di TK, 2) Melatih guru-guru TK Islam Al-Ghazali Tangerang Selatan menggunakan media sains sederhana sebagai penunjang pembelajaran sains untuk anak TK. 3) Melatih guru TK Islam Al-Ghazali Tangerang Selatan membuat media sains sederhana. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan di TK Islam Al-Ghazali Tangerang Selatan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah guru-guru sangat senang dengan diadakannya pelatihan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Selain itu pengetahuan guru-guru TK juga meningkat yang dilihat dengan peningkatan kreatifitas guru dalam menciptakan media pembelajaran sains sederhana. Hasil praktik mengajar dan penggunaan media oleh guru-guru TK menunjukkan hasil yang baik, dilihat dari cara penyajian materi dan cara mengajar guru dalam membelajarkan sains juga meningkat. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran Sains, Guru, Taman Kanak Kanak. Abstract The use of learning media as a supporting tool in the teaching and learning process in class. Learning media can be a solution to overcome learning problems. The objectives of this activity are: 1) Providing theoretical knowledge the teachers of Al-Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten about the importance of using science learning media, 2) Training the teachers of Al-Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten using learning media as a support science learning for kindergarten. 3) Training the teachers of Al-Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten in South Tangerang makes media science. Location of this activity at the Al-Ghazali Islamic Kindergarten in South Tangerang. The results of the activities are that teachers are very happy with the training on the use of learning media. Besides that, the knowledge of teachers increases which can be seen from the increase in creativity from the teacher in creating simple science learning media. The results of teaching practices by teachers showed good results. It can be seen from the presentation and how to teach in learning science is increase. Abstract

The utilization of e-module is infallible be required in blended learning approach. Nevertheless, the existence of e-modul has not been wide known among teachers. Therefore training on e-module design through SIGIL software for teachers in MTs YAPPI Mulusan been done, as community service (PKM) activity by Physics Education Study Programme, FKIP UKI. The survey questionnaire used to evaluated the participant satisfaction. The surveys finding including: 1) All participant strongly agree that the training was beneficial in learning activity; 2) As many 87,5% participant agree that SIGIL as uncomplicated software to design e-module, while only 50% participants strongly agree that SIGIL as up to date software; 3) As many 72,9% participant satisfy with the usability of e-modul produced; and 4) As many 95,6% participant satisfy with the trainer. Hence, this community service implemented quite well, likewise the expectation of e-module development be concerning to the blended learning preparation.

Abstract

Pada beberapa Universitas keterbatasan ruangan menjadi kendala untuk mengadakan Laboratorium Micro teaching, sehingga pelaksanaan proses micro teaching dilaksanakan di dalam kelas dengan dilihat langsung oleh dosen. Keberadaan dosen di dalam kelas menyebabkan penguasaan kelas berada di tangan dosen. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan IP camera pada pratik micro teaching di luar laboratorium sebagai media perekam video dan pemantau secara live streaming, sehingga dosen tidak perlu berada di dalam ruang kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Kristen Indonesia pada Praktik Micro teaching Prodi Pendidikan Fisika dan Pendidikan Kimia pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 serta pada pembekalan mahasiswa PPL semester gasal tahun ajaran 2018/2019. IP camera yang telah dihubungkan kejaringan internet dapat melakukan live streaming dan merekam video secara langsung. IP camera dapat digerakkan dengan kontrol jarak jauh, sehingga dapat mengamati mahasiswa yang berperan sebagai guru dan siswa secara bergantian. Pada IP camera juga terdapat sebuah speaker yang dapat mengeluarkan pesan suara, sehingga keberadaan IP camera di dalam kelas dapat menggantikan Observer dan Operator. Hasil rekaman video dapat diputar ulang untuk dianalisis. Penggunaan IP camera di dalam kelas pada saat praktik micro teaching dapat menggantikan fungsi laboratorium micro teaching. Abstract

Water cooling occurs since the heat energy of water is transferred to the air. Water is placed in a thin transparant vessel can reduce the effects of heat transfer by radiation and conduction, so the most dominant heat transfer is convection. Newton's law of cooling states that the rate of cooling is directly proportional to the temperature difference between the object and room temperature. By knowing the value of constant cooling, the air convection coefficient can be calculated. This study using three different sizes of cups, each of which is filled with hot water. In each glass inserted temperature sensors that connected to the interface, recording the temperature every 60 seconds using pasco capstone 14.1. The resulting graph was analyzed by exponential regression, in order to find the value of constant cooling, from this value can be calculated the air convection coefficient. The research result shows air convection coefficient value of W/m2OC, that mean if there is an object that has an area of 1 m2 and 1OC higher than room temperature, the thermal energy of the object will be lost of 19.9 J for each second. Abstract

The generation of ozone can be done by using high voltage so as to produce electronic discharge which will ionize the oxygen gas particles then recombination of these ions will produce ozone. The mosquito racket exploits a very high potential difference between its nets in order to burn the mosquitoes that trapped between the nets. The use of mosquito rackets in the air greatly enables the occurrence of electronic discharges that will produce ozone. In this study the mosquito racket is inserted in the sheath then activated for 60 minutes and ozone concentration is measured using ozonmeter every 5 minutes, the mosquito racket has an output voltage of 2500 volts and 5000 volts. On a 2500 volts mosquito racket the maximum ozone concentration of 1.70 ppm occurs at 35 minutes with an average rate of ozone production of 0.0133 ppm / min. On a 5000 volt mosquito rack a maximum ozone concentration of 11.40 ppm occurs at 35 minutes with an average rate of ozone production of 0.277 ppm / min. Abstract

An x-ray experiments require sophisticated and advanced apparatus which is very expensive resulting some laboratories in universities have not been able to accommodate these stuffs. In fact, a simple and homemade X-ray apparatus may be designed easily and it is quite cheap even the rill x-ray apparatus that equipped by many vendors. Basically, x-ray is generated from x-ray tube following two mechanisms which are characteristics x-ray and Bremstrahlung x-ray. In this study, we designed a simple x-ray apparatus which may generate Bremstrahlung x-ray. The designed simple x-ray apparatus consists of 2x2A rectifier vacuum tube and 25 kV high voltage power supply. For radiation protection and dosimetry, we conducted the experiment in a lead-shielded bunker and used Unfors Raysafe X2 as well as Digilert 100 surveymeter. We measured background radiation dose of 0,49 μGy/h. Abstract

At the time of radiotherapy treatment in addition to cancerous tissue, normal tissue around the cancer will also be exposed to radiation doses, inappropriate radiation doses will cause normal tissue to potentially become new cancers called Organ at Risk (OARs). To minimize OARs by using a device made of soft tissue equivalent material that is placed over the surface of the skin called a bolus. The function of this material ensures an increase in surface dosage, this material is also flexible, easy to form, resistant to temperature changes. One of the materials that is easily formed, not easily deformed, flexible and durable is Alginate, because it is a natural hydrogel extracted from brown seaweed. Alginate that will be used in this research is alginate which is often used by dentists to print dentures. Alginate powder is formed by dough with distilled water, then printed in a mold measuring 11 x 11 cm with a thickness of 5, 7 and 9 mm. The characterization of this alginate gel includes electron density and an increase in surface dose percentage. Electron density is obtained by using CT-Scan to find out CT-Number which is then entered into the equation to obtain electron density, electron density from Alginate is obtained by 0.949 so Alginate can be said to be equivalent to breast tissue and fat tissue. Increasing the percentage of surface dose obtained by using the Linac device, obtained at 10 MeV energy Alginate thickness of 5 mm can increase by 0.50%, thickness of 7 mm can increase 9.97% and 9 mm can increase by 19.64%. At 12 MeV energy, 5 mm Alginate is able to increase 0.36%, 7 mm thickness increases by 6.46% and 9 mm thickness is able to increase by 15.03%. With this result Alginate is a soft tissue equivalent material and is able to increase the percentage of surface doses, so that alginate can be applied as a bolus for radiotherapy. Abstract

ABSTRACT Physics learning in junior high school is not only emphasizing mastery of material, concepts or principles but is a very good process in discovering new phenomena so that students can bring real situations or conditions close to everyday life that can be observed and proven directly by students. The right approach is a demonstration method for studying physical phenomena with the aim of providing understanding to students to recognize, understand the material of physics and science, so that information obtained from various media can be useful. The demonstration method instills confidence in students and is a natural or natural way according to the development process of students to learn to understand the lesson. This research was conducted at SMP Santo Markus I in the even semester of the 2017/2018 academic year by demonstrating the making and use of simple star binocular props to 31 students of 9th grade. After the demonstration a questionnaire was given to students to find out the students' responses. From this research, it was found that students liked physics subjects with a response of 77%, liked and understood teaching aids which were demonstrated with a response of 87%, liked the demonstration method demonstrating teaching aids with a response of 88%, better understanding and understanding physics lessons using teaching aids with a response of 89%, having motivation to develop simple teaching aids was 74%. Keywords: Binoculars, Demonstrations, Props ABSTRAK Pembelajaran fisika di sekolah menengah pertama tidak hanya sekedar menekankan pada penguasaan materi, konsep atau prinsip tetapi merupakan suatu proses yang sangat baik dalam penemuan fenomena baru sehingga dapat membawa peserta didik dalam situasi atau kondisi nyata dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari yang dapat diamati dan dibuktikan secara langsung oleh peserta didik. Pendekatan yang tepat adalah metode demonstrasi untuk mempelajari fenomena fisika dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman kepada peserta didik untuk mengenal, memahami materi fisika dan sains, sehingga informasi yang diperoleh dari berbagai media dapat bermanfaat. Metode demonstrasi menanamkan keyakinan pada peserta didik serta merupakan cara yang wajar atau alamiah sesuai proses perkembangan peserta didik untuk belajar memahami pelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Santo Markus I pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan melakukan demonstrasi pembuatan dan penggunaan alat peraga teropong bintang sederhana kepada 31 siswa kelas 9. Setelah melakukan demonstrasi diberikan kuisioner kepada para siswa untuk mengetahui respon siswa. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh siswa menyukai mata pelajaran fisika dengan respon sebesar 77%, menyukai dan memahami alat peraga yang didemonstrasikan dengan respon sebesar 87%, menyukai cara demontrator memperagakan alat peraga dengan respon sebesar 88%, lebih mengerti dan memahami pelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan alat peraga dengan respon sebesar 89%, memiliki motivasi untuk mengembangkan alat peraga sederhana sebesar 74%. Abstract

Self-esteem is the whole method used to evaluate ourselves, where there is a comparison between ideal-self and real-self. Researchers have carried out strategies for developing self-esteem, but research on increasing self-esteem through creative counseling has not been found. The purpose of this study was to find (1) the profile level of students' self-esteem; (2) Description of the effectiveness of Creative Counseling (Proops) through the SFBC (Solution-Focused Brief Counseling) Approach to Increase Students' Self-Esteem.
