Abstract

The aim of the study was to transcribe Jambi Malay oral literature, especially literature in the form of prose (folklore). Jambi Malay oral literature transcription is a literary documentary research. This research is included in qualitative research with descriptive method. The data used in this study is oral literature in the form of prose (folklore). The source of data in this study is data obtained from research informants. The data was obtained through direct interviews with informants. . Interviews with informants were conducted using tapping and recording techniques. Based on the results of the analysis of the stories that have been transcribed, it was found that there are four types of stories, namely legends, fairy tales, witty stories, and myths.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an eBook of Drama courses that can be used independently by students by linking learning videos that have been uploaded by lecturers in youtube media. The development of drama e-book courses aims to help and support distance learning, especially during this pandemic. This research follows the steps of ADDIE (analize, design, develop, implement, and evaluate) which focuses on development research. Based on the results of data analysis, the average value of each aspect tested in the eBook of this Drama course is 83.85. This figure shows the teaching book on Drama Subjects is feasible and valid to use. The effectiveness and practicality of the e-book drama courses that have been used obtained an average score of 83.25. This figure shows the Drama course eBook is practical and effective for use in learning.

Abstract

This article presents the results of research of Effort to Improve Interests to Learn of Indonesian Language through Utilization of Technology at Class of X of SMA Pelita Raya Jambi. The results showed that audio-visual media can make students feel comfortable in learning. In the end, student learning outcomes to be better. Abstract

This  article  is  the  result  of  an  analytical  study  on  the  aesthetic  value  of  poetry  of Batu Pelangi and Dua Pintu Kita. The analysis shows that a collection of poetry Batu Pelangi  and  Dua  Pintu  Kita    have  very  high  aesthetic  value.  The  poems  are  the result of  a creative  process  that  deserves to  be appreciated  among students  as a first step  to understand the  local  poetry  in order to improve  the learning  of poetry  orpoetry appreciation.Keywords:  the aesthetic value, poetry of Batu Pelangi and Dua Pintu Kita

Abstract

The research objective was to describe the ability of aspects of pronunciation, intonation, expression, kinesik, and appreciation. The benefits of this research are useful as input for teachers who teach Indonesian subjects, especially teachers in SMPN 19 Jambi City. Data obtained using quantitative descriptive method implemented in January 2014. Data were obtained by observing the appearance of the drama played by students with attention to several aspects namely: pronunciation, intonation, expression, kinesik, and appreciation. Based on research results is the ability VIIIA grade students in the drama category to play well with an average of 72.98. In the aspect of pronunciation ability of students in the drama category to play well with an average of 15.97. Intonation aspects of students' ability to play both drama category with an average of 76.4. Mimic aspects of students' ability to play well with the drama category average of 75.35. Kinesik aspects of students' ability to play with enough drama category average of 73.97. While the appreciation of aspects of students' ability to play enough drama category with an average of 75. The results of the study suggested that teachers, especially Indonesian teachers have a container as a child's talents to be more focused and honed to a better direction again.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar video tutorial materi olah vokal pada Mata Kuliah Drama di FKIP Universitas Jambi. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan harus memenuhi unsur-unsur validitas, efektivitas, dan praktikalitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengadopsi model ADDIE (analyse, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). Bahan ajar video tutorial yang telah dikembangkan diimplementasikan pada mahasiswa yang mengontrak Mata Kuliah Drama semester dua. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Bahan ajar divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli. Satu validator adalah pakar di bidang pengembangan bahan ajar dan satu validator yang dipandang ahli di bidang drama. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, kemampuan olah vokal mahasiswa rata-rata sebelum menggunakan bahan ajar video tutorial materi olah vokal adalah 72. Nilai ini sedikit berada di atas nilai KKM yang berlaku, yaitu 70. Masih terdapat 15 orang mahasiswa yang memiliki nilai di bawah KKM. Presentase kegagalan nilai mahasiswa mencapai KKM mencapai 41,7%. Setelah menggunakan bahan ajar video tutorial materi olah vokal, terjadi peningkatan. Kemampuan olah vokal mahasiswa rata-rata di kelas tersebut naik menjadi 82,9. Mahasiswa yang semula masih memiliki nilai di bawah KKM turun menjadi 3 orang mahasiswa saja. Presentase kegagalan nilai mahasiswa mencapai KKM turun menjadi 8,3%. Kata kunci: bahan ajar, video tutorial, olah vokal Abstract This research aims to develop video tutorial teaching materials on vocal processing materials in Drama Courses at FKIP Jambi University. Teaching material developed must meet the elements of validity, effectiveness, and practicality. This research is a research development that adopts the ADDIE model (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate). Video tutorial teaching materials that have been developed are implemented by students who contract second semester Drama Courses. The research data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Teaching materials are validated by two experts. One validator is an expert in the field of teaching material development and one validator is seen as an expert in the field of drama. Based on the results of data analysis, the average vocal processing ability of students before using video tutorial teaching material for vocal processing material is 72. This value is slightly above the applicable KKM value, which is 70. There are still 15 students who have grades below the KKM. The percentage of students failing to reach KKM reached 41.7%. After using video tutorials teaching materials for vocal processing, an increase occurred. The average student vocal ability in the class increased to 82.9. Students who originally had grades below the KKM dropped to 3 students. The percentage of students failing to reach the KKM dropped to 8.3%. Abstract

Pembelajaran jarak jauh merupakan alternatif model pembelajaran yang tepat dimasa pandemi covid-19. Mengingat model pembelajaran yang masih bersifat baru sehingga perlu adanya sosialisasi maupun pemberian pelatihan untuk guru terutama guru di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Oleh karena itu, Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) yang dilakukan, yakni di Sekolah Menengah Pertama se-Kabupaten Muaro Jambi yang di bawah lindungan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Di dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat dikhususkan untuk guru Bahasa Indonesia dengan pemahaman materi menulis. Ini dilakukan agar proses pembelajaran materi menulis di Sekolah Menengah Pertama masa Pandemi covid 19 tidak menjadi persoalan, mengingat materi menulis merupakan bentuk keterampilan produktif dalam bahasa Indonesia yang harus dibimbing dan dimonitoring selama pertemuan berlangsung. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan, guru diberikan pemahaman terhadap konsep pembelajaran jarak jauh dan menerima situasi pembelajaran Information and Communication Technology (ICT) hal ini dilakukan agar guru-guru mampu beradaptasi dalam melakukan pembelajaran di masa pandemi covid-19. Sebagai tindak lanjutnya diharapkan kepada pemangku kebijakan untuk ikut ambil bagian dalam melakukan kegiatan pendamping dan dukungan terhadap guru yang mengelola pembelajaran termasuk juga memonitoring dan mengevaluasi proses pembelajarannya di masa pandemi covid-19

Abstract

Kesantunan berbahasa sangatlah penting terutama di lingkungan pendidikan, karena siswa adalah cikal bakal penerus bangsa indonesia. Jika seorang siswa tidak menggunakan bahasa yang santun maka akan lahirlah generasi yang arogan, kasar dan tidak mempunyai nilai-nilai dalam beretika. Oleh karena itu, guru harus membina dan mengarahkan siswa untuk berbicara secara santun pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung agar siswa terbiasa dan menjadi sebuah kebiasaan dalam berbicara santun di lingkungan sekolah maupun di luar sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana kesantunan guru ke siswa, siswa ke guru dan siswa ke siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP N 7 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat maksim-maksim yang menaati kesantunan berbahasa yaitu pada tuturan deklaratif terdapat maksim 1. Pujian 2. Kearifan 3. Kemufakatan 4. Kedermawanan 5. Kemufakatan 6. Simpati. Tuturan interogatif terdapat maksim 1. Kearifan 2. Pujian 3. Simpati. Tuturan imperatif terdapat maksim kearifan. Tuturan ekslamaif terdapat maksim kearifan. Dan juga di temukan beberapa tuturan yang melanggar maksim kearifan, karena nya guru dan siswa harus lebih mengoptimalkan lagi dalam berbicara santun agar terciptanya suasana belajar yang lebih menyenangkan. Kata kunci : kesantunan berbahasa, maksim, tuturan
