Abstract

AbstrakTeknologi pengelasan adalah metode penyambungan material yang umum digunakan di industri, konstruksi, dan manufaktur. Makalah ini membahas Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) menggunakan logam pengisi ER308 untuk menyambung logam dasar A304. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kekuatan tarik dan  lentur dari bahan dengan variasi tipe v-groove dan arus pengelasan sebagai parameter pengelasan. Jenis sambungan yaitu butt-welds dengan 45° v-groove, 60° v-groove, dan 60 ° double v-grooves, sedangkan arus pengelasan bervariasi antara 75A, 100A dan 125A. Uji kuat tarik menggunakan HUNG TA-520 dengan kapasitas mesin 500 kN. Hasil kekuatan puncak masing-masing capaian berada pada 645,70 N / mm2, 633,16 N / mm2, dan 613,89 N / mm2. Kemudian pada hasil uji tekuk retakan terbesar pada sampel terjadi pada arus 75A. Dari hasil ini lebih baik menggunakan arus 100A. AbstractWelding technology is a method of joining materials commonly used in industry, construction, and manufacturing. This paper discusses Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) using ER308 filler metal to join the A304 base metal. This study aims to examine the strength and bending test of the variation of the v-groove type and welding current as welding parameters. Types of joints are butt-welds with 45 ° v-grooves, 60 ° v-grooves, and 60 ° double v-grooves, while the welding current varies between 75A, 100A, and 125A. Tensile strength test using HUNG TA-520 with an engine capacity of 500 kN. The peak strength results of each achievement are at 645.70 N / mm2, 633.16 N / mm2, and 613.89 N / mm2. Then the bending test results, the largest cracks in the sample, occurred at a current of 75A. From these results it is better to use a current of 100A.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas perbaikan proses penyemprotan pada tahap pembersihan candle filter di PT XYZ, yaitu permasalahan proses penyemprotan manual  pada candle filter  yang tidak efisien. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka perlu dilakukan proses penyemprotan dengan mesin. Penelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan mesin penyemprot otomatis  candle filter untuk mengurangi waktu pengerjaan. Mesin ini dirancang untuk berbagai ukuran candle filter, dan mesin dapat membersihkan candle filter  dari luar dan dalam secara bersamaan. Hasil perancangan yaitu mesin auto spray memiliki  putaran untuk penggerak nosel yaitu 596,1 Rpm dan pemutar candle filter 480 Rpm. Kecepatan putaran dirancang dengan RPM yang dapat disesuaikan dan dikontrol oleh inverter pada panel. Mesin auto spray memiliki konstruksi yang tahan korosi dan kokoh dengan spesifikasi mesin sepanjang 3005 mm x lebar 515 mm x tinggi 1215 mm. Proses penyemprotan menghemat waktu yaitu mencapai 60% yang diperoleh dari perhitungan proses penyemprotan secara manual, dan menggunakan mesin otomatis masing-masing adalah 25 menit 10 menit. Dari segi kualitas, hasil penyemprotan menggunakan mesin juga lebih baik. Dari 40 sampel yang diuji dari setiap proses, nilai rata-rata partikel saat menggunakan mesin, dan secara manual masing-masing adalah 5,36 gram dan 23,6 gram.

Abstract

Crack failure often occurs in piping installations, especially in the welding area which can be caused by excessive stress or corrosion of the material. In this case, the crack failure in the HAZ area will be discussed near the pipe connected to the valve for the heat transfer fluid line. The method used in this paper is the inspection of the attached materials using OES (Optical emission spectroscope), observation of pipe and valve joints and failure analysis. From the results of material inspection, it was found that the pipe used was ASTM A106, then from the microstructure it was seen that the grain dimensions were not homogeneous, it would cause the strength of material heterogeneity, then from visual observation, it could be seen that pipe joints and valve misalignment occurred.

Abstract

Abstrack In the industry, most do not use pure aluminum material, but utilize material absorption. An alloy that is often used in the foundry industry is Al-Si. The smelting process using a tool made of refractory stone as a heat insulator is able to increase the heat in the combustion chamber to 1,000 °C, the melted metal material must be at a melting point below 1,000 °C, such as aluminum, brass, lead and so on,. Roller is one of the components contained in the automatic transmission or CVT. Roller bar functions to press against the inner wall of the primary pulley during high rotation. This racing roller is a roller that is usually used to improve the performance of an automatic motorcycle. Rollers are heavy force balance bearings that are useful for pressing the inner walls of the primary pulley during high revolutions. Based on the results of the discussion in this study that the hardness value at three different points and has been carried out as much as 3 times for one test material, namely the Standard Roller, that data 1 average hardness price of 86 with an average penetration depth of 0.12 mm, for data 2 the average hardness price of 93 with an average penetration depth of 0.28 mm. Abstract

ABSTRACT - Megono is a typical food from the city of Pekalongan, the basic ingredients of megono are young jackfruit which is chopped into small pieces and various spices, the process of chopping young jackfruit manually is inefficient and unsafe. The purpose of this design is to produce an efficient and safe young jackfruit chopping machine, so that it can assist megono industry players in increasing megono production. The stages in designing a young jackfruit counter machine are: identifying problems, formulating problems by conducting literature studies and field studies, creating design concepts, establishing designs, assembling components, conducting machine testing and conducting analysis as a basis for making conclusions. The young jackfruit chopping machine has dimensions of 600 mm x 470 mm x 500 mm, uses an electric motor with a power of ½ HP, a voltage of 220 V and a rotation of 1400 rpm, the chopping shaft is made of ST60 material with a diameter of 20 mm, the knife used is made of AISI 5160 steel with dimensions of 100 mm x 50 mm x 4 mm. The capacity of the young jackfruit chopper is 96.58 kg/hour.

Abstract

The presence of electric vehicles (EVs) must be supported by batteries that have good-quality energy storage. Battery power is critical to the development of electric cars. Temperature affects battery strength, so operating within the optimum temperature range must be ensured. During the charge and discharge processes, the electrochemical reaction generates hot energy, causing an increase in battery temperature. In this research, the solution to the problem is to make a cooling system with a mini channel cold plate and Al2O3 1%vol+EG/W (50:50) nano coolant. Optimization of heat transfer enhancement using Response Surface Methodology-Central Composite Design (RSM-CCD) and experimental tests with various flow rate variations. The research findings revealed that the RSM-CCD results and the outcomes of studies employing test equipment agreed that the highest cooling fluid flow rate was the most optimal condition, the highest T2 temperature drop of 17.63% occurred at a flow rate of 1.7 LPM, and the lowest T2 temperature was 13.13% at a flow rate of 1 LPM.
