Abstract

Kampar Regency is located in the Riau Province. This district consists of 21 sub-districts where there are 140 SMA/SMK/MA/equivalent schools. The problem faced in several public and private schools in this region is the lack of laboratory facilities in carrying out science experiments in the field of physics. In addition, the time to conduct experiments in the physics laboratory is also very less due to the dense activities of teachers and students in achieving other competencies. The low skill of teachers in using virtual laboratory technology is also a major factor in not carrying out experiments in the field of physics, so that it has an impact on the low level of understanding of students. The solution offered in overcoming the problem is the use of a virtual laboratory in the implementation of experiments in the field of physics. The first step in overcoming the above problems is to provide socialization of the benefits of the Phet Simulation application. Furthermore, training on the use of physics teachers for SMA/SMK/MA in Kampar Regency was carried out. The training on the use of phet simulation applications given to 32 teacher participants has succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of participants by 12.7%. To achieve an increase in knowledge and skills of at least 80%, continuous mentoring must be carried out again for participants.

Abstract

Health equipment is a very crucial component in health services. In Indonesian Hospitals, the quality of medical devices is carried out by the Hospital Facility Maintenance Installation, which is abbreviated as IPSRS. Generally, IPSRS staff consists of human resources who have qualifications in Electromedical, Public Health, and Management qualifications. HR who carry out maintenance and repairs, hereinafter referred to as Preventive Maintenance Inspection (IPM) of medical devices, are HR with electromedical qualifications. Cath Lab is the latest technology in the medical world. Therefore, many electromedical technicians do not understand the latest developments in the Cath Lab IPM process. In order to prepare hospital services with quality Cath Lab tools, reliable human resources are needed in carrying out their HDI. For this reason, training on HDI from this Cath Lab equipment is needed. This HDI training was attended by 534 participants from all over Indonesia which was carried out through the Zoom Meetings Application. This training succeeded in increasing the ability of participants by 22.28% from the initial ability of 46.48% to 68.76%. The participants' satisfaction with the reliability of the resource persons, activity themes, communication, committee and media used in the training activities was 86.57% in the very satisfied category.

Abstract

Pengukuran suhu merupakan salah satu parameter penting dalam jaminan mutu suatu produk. Jaminan mutu akurasi termometer sangat penting dan krusial dalam proses produksi. Akurasi termometer memerlukan ketertelusuran ke satuan ukur standar internasional melalui proses kalibrasi rutin. Metode kalibrasi termometer yang ada menggunakan chamber/bath yang terkontrol suhu dan perlu stabilitas suhu tinggi. Chamber/bath di pasaran relatif mahal dan proses kalibrasi suhu memerlukan waktu yang lama karena pada setiap set point harus ditunggu stabilitasnya. Dalam penelitian ini kalibrasi termometer dilakukan dengan membandingkan pembacaan termometer yang dikalibrasi dengan termometer standar dan menggunakan persamaan regresi kalibrasi untuk menentukan nilai standar error of estimate (SEE). Persamaan regresi menggunakan metode invers dan klasik masing-masing dengan linear equation, polynomial equation dan power equation. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan kalibrasi termometer digital dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan bath yang tidak terkontrol suhu yaitu hanya dengan melakukan komparasi pembacaan antara termometer standar dan termometer yang dikalibrasi dengan cara mencatat setiap kenaikan suhu yang ada. Untuk evaluasi ketidakpastian kalibrasi termometer digital diperoleh nilai SEE terkecil pada persamaan power yaitu 0,001. Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam setiap jenis regresi dan hasil ketidakpastian baku gabungan 0,16 pada suhu 37 °C menggunakan regresi linear.

Abstract

One of the important parameters of providing health services to the community is the availability of adequate medical devices. To ensure safety and accuracy, medical devices must be tested and calibrated periodically by the Health Facility Testing Institution (IPFK) which has obtained permission from the Ministry of Health. The island of Sumatra, which is one of the large islands in Indonesia which has many health facilities, currently only consists of one Health Facility Security Center (BPFK). Therefore, to improve safety assurance in health facilities in the Sumatra region, it is necessary to establish new IPFKs that can provide testing and calibration services for medical devices. The purpose of this activity is to establish IPFK in Pekanbaru, Riau to improve the safety of patients and users' assurance of medical devices in health facilities. This activity refers to the procedures established by the Ministry of Health. Some of the activities carried out were developing company deeds, business plans, organizational structure, human resource (HR) needs and infrastructure, recruiting HR, conducting HR training, developing quality assurance documents, developing operational authorization application documents, and applying for operational authorization to the Ministry of Health. The activity was carried out for approximately one year and succeeded in establishing an IPFK that had adequate human resources, infrastructure, and quality documents and obtained an operational permit from the Ministry of Health.

Abstract

Ventilator merupakan alat kesehatan yang paling dibutuhkan di masa pandemi ini. Berbagai institusi telah berusaha mengembangkan ventilator, akan tetapi banyak yang terkendala dengan hasil pengujian dan kalibrasinya yang tidak sesuai. Hal ini dikarenakan ketidaktahuan terhadap metode pengujian dan kalibrasi ventilator yang sesuai standar. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkanlah platform Platform Online Simulasi Virtual Pengujian dan Kalibrasi Ventilator Berbasis Browser. Platform ini kedepannya akan digunakan oleh institusi pengembang ventilator untuk melakukan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kompetensi melalui pelatihan terkait pengujian dan kalibrasi ventilator. Penelitian ini dibatasi dengan menggunakan beberapa ruang lingkup pengujian yaitu tidal volume, minute volume, breath rate, I:E ratio, PEEP, inspiration time, dan Expiration time. Tahapan metode penelitian yang akan dilakukan mulai dari studi literatur, produk, library, algoritma, pengumpulan data ventilator dan gas flow analyzer, dilanjutkan dengan desain sistem, antarmuka pengguna, dan elemen visual, kemudian dilakukan pengembangan sistem dan antarmuka pengguna, lalu dilakukan pengujian fungsi, dan pengalaman pengguna. Hasil pengujian menunjukan seluruh fungsi 100% terlaksana dengan baik dan pengalaman pengguna 38% menunjukkan setuju dengan kriteria pengalaman pengguna yang terdiri dari Daya Tarik, Efisiensi, Perspicuity, Ketergantungan, Stimulasi, Novelty, Kepercayaan, Estetika, Adaptabilitas, Kegunaan, Penggunaan Intuitif, Nilai, Konten yang Dapat Dipercaya, Kualitas Isi, Haptics, dan Akustik

Abstract

In Indonesia, the quality assurance of medical devices is carried out by the Hospital Facility Maintenance Installation, abbreviated as IPSRS. Generally, IPSRS staff consists of Human Resources (HR) who have qualifications in Electromedical, Public Health, and Management qualifications. Human resources in charge of carrying out maintenance and repairs, hereinafter referred to as Preventive Maintenance Inspections (IPM) of medical devices, are human resources with electromedical qualifications. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an advanced medical device that combines computer technology, high magnetic fields (0.067.0 Tesla) and radio waves to produce cross-sectional images of the muscles of the human body. To prepare patient services in hospitals using an MRI tool, reliable human resources are needed in carrying out their HDI. For this reason, training on the HDI of this MRI equipment is needed. This HDI training was attended by 534 participants from all over Indonesia which was carried out through the Zoom Meeting Application. This training succeeded in increasing the ability of participants by 27.98% while the average satisfaction of training participants was assessed from 5 aspects, namely at 86.65%, so that the training carried out is in the very satisfactory category.

Abstract

Penjaminan mutu merupakan hal terpenting dalam pengujian dan atau kalibrasi, khususnya pada berbagai alat kesehatan. Semua lembaga pengujian dan atau kalibrasi alat kesehatan harus memiliki referensi yang sama agar hasilnya dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Acuan yang digunakan di Indonesia untuk menjamin sistem manajemen mutu laboratorium adalah SNI ISO 17025: 2017. Oleh karena itu, setiap personil yang bekerja di laboratorium harus memahami dan menerapkan persyaratan yang diatur pada SNI tersebut. PT. XYZ merupakan lembaga pengujian dan atau kalibrasi alat kesehatan yang baru beroperasi dan akan mengadopsi sistem SNI ISO 17025 sebagai kebijakan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil laboratoriumnya. Semua Personel PT. XYZ pernah mendapatkan sosialisasi tentang persyaratan standar tersebut yang dilakukan oleh manajer mutu dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, namun terdapat beberapa keluhan dari beberapa personel yang tidak memahami standar tersebut. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman personel PT XYZ terhadap persyaratan SNI ISO 17025: 2017 dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran kooperatif JIGSAW. Penilaian peningkatan pemahaman personeldilakukan dengan analisis uji-t dan uji skala likert. Hasil studi awal menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode JIGSAW dalam meningkatkan pemahaman personil memberikan perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan personel. Peningkatan pemahaman personel setelah pelatihan dengan metode ini meningkat sebesar 35%. Uji skala likert juga menunjukkan bahwa penilaian peserta pelatihan terhadap pelatih berada pada kategori Baik dan penilaian peserta terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan sangat sesuai sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan interpretasi pemahaman personel SNI ISO 17025: 2017 menggunakan metode JIGSAW efektif.

Abstract

Nurses are one of the frontline professions in dealing with patients affected by Covid-19. Nurses are dealing directly with problems that occur in covid-19 health services. This challenge is an opportunity for the emergence of the competence development of the nursing profession by implementing technological competency. If a nurse has technological competence, they are expected to produce appropriate technological innovations. This paper discusses the opportunities of nurses to implement engineering competency in order to improve innovation opportunities in post-pandemic nursing care. Technological, economic, regulatory, and sociological forces that influence the transformation of the nursing profession into nurse-engineers will be explained below with a new collaborative nurse-engineer educational competencies are also proposed.

Abstract

Abstract. Uv-Vis Spectrophotometer is one of the instruments in the hospital located in the clinical laboratory where its management is under the responsibility of the Electromedical Technician. The medical device technology development has led to adjustments and developments in managing the Uv-Vis spectrophotometer. The purpose of this service activity is to provide Inspection Preventive Maintainance (IPM) training for Uv-Vis spectrophotometer equipment and share developments in Uv-Vis spectrophotometer technology with electromedical technicians. With this, hospitals can provide complete services to the community. The training was held on March 26, 2022, using the Zoom Meeting media and was attended by 401 participants from all over Indonesia. Participants were given a pretest and posttest to determine the level of participants abilities with this training. Before the training, the ability of the participants was 60.30% while after the training the ability of the participants was 78.55% so there was an increase in the ability of the participants by 18.25%. The average level of participant satisfaction with this training activity is 85.54%, which is in the very satisfactory category Abstrak. Spektrofotometer Uv-Vis merupakan salah satu alat di rumah sakit yang berada pada laboratorium klinik dimana pengelolaannya di bawah tanggung jawab Teknisi Elektromedis. Perkembangan teknologi alat kesehatan menyebabkan adanya penyesuaian dan perkembangan terhadap pengelolaan alat spektrofotometer Uv-Vis. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan Inspection Preventive Maintainance (IPM) peralatan spektrofotometer Uv-Vis dan sharing perkembangan teknologi spektrofotometer Uv-Vis kepada teknisi elektromedis. Dengan hal itu, rumah sakit dapat memberikan pelayanan yang paripurna kepada masyarakat. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 maret 2022 menggunakan media Zoom Meeting dan diikuti oleh 401 peserta dari seluruh Indonesia. Peserta diberikan pretest dan postest unutk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan peserta dengan adanya pelatihan ini. Sebelum pelatihan kemampuan peserta sebesar 60,30% sedangkan setelah pelatihan kemampuan peserta sebesar 78,55% sehingga terjadi peningkatan kemampuan peserta sebesar 18,25%. Adapun rata-rata tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 85,54% berada pada kategori sangat memuaskan.
