Abstract

Kampar Regency is located in the Riau Province. This district consists of 21 sub-districts where there are 140 SMA/SMK/MA/equivalent schools. The problem faced in several public and private schools in this region is the lack of laboratory facilities in carrying out science experiments in the field of physics. In addition, the time to conduct experiments in the physics laboratory is also very less due to the dense activities of teachers and students in achieving other competencies. The low skill of teachers in using virtual laboratory technology is also a major factor in not carrying out experiments in the field of physics, so that it has an impact on the low level of understanding of students. The solution offered in overcoming the problem is the use of a virtual laboratory in the implementation of experiments in the field of physics. The first step in overcoming the above problems is to provide socialization of the benefits of the Phet Simulation application. Furthermore, training on the use of physics teachers for SMA/SMK/MA in Kampar Regency was carried out. The training on the use of phet simulation applications given to 32 teacher participants has succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of participants by 12.7%. To achieve an increase in knowledge and skills of at least 80%, continuous mentoring must be carried out again for participants.

Abstract

Health equipment is a very crucial component in health services. In Indonesian Hospitals, the quality of medical devices is carried out by the Hospital Facility Maintenance Installation, which is abbreviated as IPSRS. Generally, IPSRS staff consists of human resources who have qualifications in Electromedical, Public Health, and Management qualifications. HR who carry out maintenance and repairs, hereinafter referred to as Preventive Maintenance Inspection (IPM) of medical devices, are HR with electromedical qualifications. Cath Lab is the latest technology in the medical world. Therefore, many electromedical technicians do not understand the latest developments in the Cath Lab IPM process. In order to prepare hospital services with quality Cath Lab tools, reliable human resources are needed in carrying out their HDI. For this reason, training on HDI from this Cath Lab equipment is needed. This HDI training was attended by 534 participants from all over Indonesia which was carried out through the Zoom Meetings Application. This training succeeded in increasing the ability of participants by 22.28% from the initial ability of 46.48% to 68.76%. The participants' satisfaction with the reliability of the resource persons, activity themes, communication, committee and media used in the training activities was 86.57% in the very satisfied category.

Abstract

Penjaminan mutu merupakan hal terpenting dalam pengujian dan atau kalibrasi, khususnya pada berbagai alat kesehatan. Semua lembaga pengujian dan atau kalibrasi alat kesehatan harus memiliki referensi yang sama agar hasilnya dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Acuan yang digunakan di Indonesia untuk menjamin sistem manajemen mutu laboratorium adalah SNI ISO 17025: 2017. Oleh karena itu, setiap personil yang bekerja di laboratorium harus memahami dan menerapkan persyaratan yang diatur pada SNI tersebut. PT. XYZ merupakan lembaga pengujian dan atau kalibrasi alat kesehatan yang baru beroperasi dan akan mengadopsi sistem SNI ISO 17025 sebagai kebijakan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil laboratoriumnya. Semua Personel PT. XYZ pernah mendapatkan sosialisasi tentang persyaratan standar tersebut yang dilakukan oleh manajer mutu dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, namun terdapat beberapa keluhan dari beberapa personel yang tidak memahami standar tersebut. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman personel PT XYZ terhadap persyaratan SNI ISO 17025: 2017 dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran kooperatif JIGSAW. Penilaian peningkatan pemahaman personeldilakukan dengan analisis uji-t dan uji skala likert. Hasil studi awal menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode JIGSAW dalam meningkatkan pemahaman personil memberikan perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan personel. Peningkatan pemahaman personel setelah pelatihan dengan metode ini meningkat sebesar 35%. Uji skala likert juga menunjukkan bahwa penilaian peserta pelatihan terhadap pelatih berada pada kategori Baik dan penilaian peserta terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan sangat sesuai sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan interpretasi pemahaman personel SNI ISO 17025: 2017 menggunakan metode JIGSAW efektif.

Abstract

One of the important parameters of providing health services to the community is the availability of adequate medical devices. To ensure safety and accuracy, medical devices must be tested and calibrated periodically by the Health Facility Testing Institution (IPFK) which has obtained permission from the Ministry of Health. The island of Sumatra, which is one of the large islands in Indonesia which has many health facilities, currently only consists of one Health Facility Security Center (BPFK). Therefore, to improve safety assurance in health facilities in the Sumatra region, it is necessary to establish new IPFKs that can provide testing and calibration services for medical devices. The purpose of this activity is to establish IPFK in Pekanbaru, Riau to improve the safety of patients and users' assurance of medical devices in health facilities. This activity refers to the procedures established by the Ministry of Health. Some of the activities carried out were developing company deeds, business plans, organizational structure, human resource (HR) needs and infrastructure, recruiting HR, conducting HR training, developing quality assurance documents, developing operational authorization application documents, and applying for operational authorization to the Ministry of Health. The activity was carried out for approximately one year and succeeded in establishing an IPFK that had adequate human resources, infrastructure, and quality documents and obtained an operational permit from the Ministry of Health.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the quality assurance of medical devices is carried out by the Hospital Facility Maintenance Installation, abbreviated as IPSRS. Generally, IPSRS staff consists of Human Resources (HR) who have qualifications in Electromedical, Public Health, and Management qualifications. Human resources in charge of carrying out maintenance and repairs, hereinafter referred to as Preventive Maintenance Inspections (IPM) of medical devices, are human resources with electromedical qualifications. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an advanced medical device that combines computer technology, high magnetic fields (0.067.0 Tesla) and radio waves to produce cross-sectional images of the muscles of the human body. To prepare patient services in hospitals using an MRI tool, reliable human resources are needed in carrying out their HDI. For this reason, training on the HDI of this MRI equipment is needed. This HDI training was attended by 534 participants from all over Indonesia which was carried out through the Zoom Meeting Application. This training succeeded in increasing the ability of participants by 27.98% while the average satisfaction of training participants was assessed from 5 aspects, namely at 86.65%, so that the training carried out is in the very satisfactory category.

Abstract

Babies born prematurely always increase every year. For this reason, it is necessary to take proper care so that the baby remains in good health. One of the treatments for premature babies is phototherapy to reduce bilirubin levels in the baby's body. In order for the phototherapy process to run as expected, of course the phototherapy equipment used in the treatment must be of good quality and quality. For this reason, quality assurance and phototherapy equipment need to be carried out through a calibration process. In this study, calibration of the GEA medical type XHZ-90 phototherapy tool was carried out. Calibration is carried out by following the standard reference work method from the Ministry of Health in 2018. Calibration is carried out by checking the physical and function of the equipment which gains a weight of 10%, electrical safety inspection of the appliance with a weight gain of 36%, and measuring the performance of the instrument, namely spectral irradiance with a weight gain of 50%. . So that the total weight gain can be 96% and it can be concluded that this tool is functioning properly and within the tolerance limits of use. The uncertainty value in the measurement of spectral irradiance takes into account the sources of uncertainty types A and B. The combined uncertainty calculation from several sources for the measurement of spectral irradiance is 1.116. This value has met the uncertainty tolerance limit value of ≥ 4.

Abstract

Hypertension is the fifth leading cause of death in Indonesia. Hypertension occurs because the blood vessels are continuously experiencing high pressure. Medical device that supports doctors and other health workers in diagnosing hypertension is sphygmomanometer. Sphygmomanometer is an instrument for measuring blood pressure. Accuracy of blood pressure measurement is very important in diagnosing hypertension. An Error in measuring blood pressure will be fatal for patients, health workers, and health facilities. So that this study aims to analyze the quality of automatic and non-automatic sphygmomanometer. This research method is in form of quantitative research based on experiments. The data was taken by using direct measurements. Measurements were carried out by using the 2018 Ministry of Health work method. Quality assessment of the sphygmomanometer was taken based on the results of sphygmomanometer calibration analysis. Automatic sphygmomanometer with the OMRON brand got score 95 and the non-automatic sphygmomanometer with the ABN brand got score 97.3. The results of the analysis showed that both tools had high accuracy of pressure measurement and were within tolerance limits. So it can be concluded that both tools are feasible to use.

Abstract

Susu sapi mengandung nutrisi yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh tubuh. Salah satu nutrisi yang paling dibutuhkan adalah kandungan protein dan lemak. Untuk mempertahankan kadar protein dan kadar lemak dalam susu diperlukan teknik pengolahan susu yang efektif, dan relatif murah. Pengolahan susu sapi secara termal dapat merusak kandungan protein dan lemak. Untuk itu perlu diteliti lebih lanjut tentang pengawetan susu sapi secara non thermal. Penelitian ini menerapkan medan listrik bertegangan rendah selama proses pengawetan susu sapi segar. Penerapan medan listrik dilakukan untuk mengkaji perubahan kadar protein dan lemak susu sapi segar. Besarnya medan listrik yang digunakan adalah 25 V/mm dengan frekuensi 300 kHz. Lama paparan medan listrik dilakukan selama 1 jam, 3 jam, dan 5 jam. Paparan medan listrik dilakukan dengan menggunakan satu set generator penghasil medan listrik. Kadar protein diukur dengan metode titrasi formol, dan kadar lemak dengan metode Gerber. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa paparan medan listrik pada  frekuensi diatas tidak merubah kadar protein dan lemak secara signifikan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai t-hitung pada kadar protein (-0.131) < dari nilai t-tabelnya (2.132) begitu juga dengan nilai t-hitung pada kadar lemak (0,525) < dari nilai t-tabelnya (2,132). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa paparan medan listrik tidak merusak kadar protein da lemak dalam susu sapi.

Abstract

The advances in technology experience significant developments anually, especially in the medical devices in the form of mobile x ray. The use of mobile x-ray radiation in the field of radiodiagnostics for various medical purposes needs to pay attention to two aspects, namely the risks and benefits. Therefore, the radiation protection is needed to reduce the damaging effects of radiation caused by radiation exposure. To ensure the accuracy and safety in the use of X-ray radiation, calibration procedures or conformity tests are carried out periodically. This study performs a conformity test on a mobile general radiography machine ALLENGERS, type MARS-6 SBM, with serial number 2162 used to examine the patients. The results of the conformity test using the Collimator Test and coin markers, mobile X-ray were declared to have passed the test as seen in the results from measurements using a Lux Meter, namely 101 Lux, with the score of a coin marker collimator of 3%.

Abstract

The tight competition between testing and calibration laboratories in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 requires every laboratory to have documentation of a quality management system according to standards. This is necessary so that testing and calibration laboratories are able to apply the Good Laboratory Practices so that they can achieve consistent quality of test results, prevent discrepancies and improve quality. In order to achieve an excellent medical devices testing and calibration laboratory and be able to compete both nationally and globally, it is necessary to have a laboratory management system documentation that is in accordance with standards. For this reason, this study aims to identify the need for documentation of the quality management system for medical devices testing and calibration laboratory type C in accordance with national and international standards. The research method used in this study has 4 stages. The initial stage is a literature study on identifying problems and setting goals. The second stage is literature study for data collection. The third stage is data processing which includes identification of document requirements and identification of business processes. After that, the verification of the results of the analysis of the identification of document requirements is carried out. The results of the identification of document requirements states that at least 291 documents are needed, consisting of 1 quality manual, 55 quality procedure documents, 147 quality form documents, 25 internal and external documents and 63 work instruction documents.
