Abstract

Health equipment is a very crucial component in health services. In Indonesian Hospitals, the quality of medical devices is carried out by the Hospital Facility Maintenance Installation, which is abbreviated as IPSRS. Generally, IPSRS staff consists of human resources who have qualifications in Electromedical, Public Health, and Management qualifications. HR who carry out maintenance and repairs, hereinafter referred to as Preventive Maintenance Inspection (IPM) of medical devices, are HR with electromedical qualifications. Cath Lab is the latest technology in the medical world. Therefore, many electromedical technicians do not understand the latest developments in the Cath Lab IPM process. In order to prepare hospital services with quality Cath Lab tools, reliable human resources are needed in carrying out their HDI. For this reason, training on HDI from this Cath Lab equipment is needed. This HDI training was attended by 534 participants from all over Indonesia which was carried out through the Zoom Meetings Application. This training succeeded in increasing the ability of participants by 22.28% from the initial ability of 46.48% to 68.76%. The participants' satisfaction with the reliability of the resource persons, activity themes, communication, committee and media used in the training activities was 86.57% in the very satisfied category.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the quality assurance of medical devices is carried out by the Hospital Facility Maintenance Installation, abbreviated as IPSRS. Generally, IPSRS staff consists of Human Resources (HR) who have qualifications in Electromedical, Public Health, and Management qualifications. Human resources in charge of carrying out maintenance and repairs, hereinafter referred to as Preventive Maintenance Inspections (IPM) of medical devices, are human resources with electromedical qualifications. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an advanced medical device that combines computer technology, high magnetic fields (0.067.0 Tesla) and radio waves to produce cross-sectional images of the muscles of the human body. To prepare patient services in hospitals using an MRI tool, reliable human resources are needed in carrying out their HDI. For this reason, training on the HDI of this MRI equipment is needed. This HDI training was attended by 534 participants from all over Indonesia which was carried out through the Zoom Meeting Application. This training succeeded in increasing the ability of participants by 27.98% while the average satisfaction of training participants was assessed from 5 aspects, namely at 86.65%, so that the training carried out is in the very satisfactory category.

Abstract

The advances in technology experience significant developments anually, especially in the medical devices in the form of mobile x ray. The use of mobile x-ray radiation in the field of radiodiagnostics for various medical purposes needs to pay attention to two aspects, namely the risks and benefits. Therefore, the radiation protection is needed to reduce the damaging effects of radiation caused by radiation exposure. To ensure the accuracy and safety in the use of X-ray radiation, calibration procedures or conformity tests are carried out periodically. This study performs a conformity test on a mobile general radiography machine ALLENGERS, type MARS-6 SBM, with serial number 2162 used to examine the patients. The results of the conformity test using the Collimator Test and coin markers, mobile X-ray were declared to have passed the test as seen in the results from measurements using a Lux Meter, namely 101 Lux, with the score of a coin marker collimator of 3%.

Abstract

Abstract. Uv-Vis Spectrophotometer is one of the instruments in the hospital located in the clinical laboratory where its management is under the responsibility of the Electromedical Technician. The medical device technology development has led to adjustments and developments in managing the Uv-Vis spectrophotometer. The purpose of this service activity is to provide Inspection Preventive Maintainance (IPM) training for Uv-Vis spectrophotometer equipment and share developments in Uv-Vis spectrophotometer technology with electromedical technicians. With this, hospitals can provide complete services to the community. The training was held on March 26, 2022, using the Zoom Meeting media and was attended by 401 participants from all over Indonesia. Participants were given a pretest and posttest to determine the level of participants abilities with this training. Before the training, the ability of the participants was 60.30% while after the training the ability of the participants was 78.55% so there was an increase in the ability of the participants by 18.25%. The average level of participant satisfaction with this training activity is 85.54%, which is in the very satisfactory category Abstrak. Spektrofotometer Uv-Vis merupakan salah satu alat di rumah sakit yang berada pada laboratorium klinik dimana pengelolaannya di bawah tanggung jawab Teknisi Elektromedis. Perkembangan teknologi alat kesehatan menyebabkan adanya penyesuaian dan perkembangan terhadap pengelolaan alat spektrofotometer Uv-Vis. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan Inspection Preventive Maintainance (IPM) peralatan spektrofotometer Uv-Vis dan sharing perkembangan teknologi spektrofotometer Uv-Vis kepada teknisi elektromedis. Dengan hal itu, rumah sakit dapat memberikan pelayanan yang paripurna kepada masyarakat. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 maret 2022 menggunakan media Zoom Meeting dan diikuti oleh 401 peserta dari seluruh Indonesia. Peserta diberikan pretest dan postest unutk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan peserta dengan adanya pelatihan ini. Sebelum pelatihan kemampuan peserta sebesar 60,30% sedangkan setelah pelatihan kemampuan peserta sebesar 78,55% sehingga terjadi peningkatan kemampuan peserta sebesar 18,25%. Adapun rata-rata tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah 85,54% berada pada kategori sangat memuaskan.

Abstract

An electrostimulator is a device that produces millions of tiny electrical signals that enter the body through an electrode that is placed on the surface of the skin near the affected area or above it. Electrostimulators are widely used to determine the response of nerve and muscle cells to certain electrical stimuli. In this study, the process of analyzing the frequency parameters in the testing and calibration of the electrostimulator was carried out in which the calibration was aimed to find out some deviations between the calibrated tool and the calibrator. The method used is the work method that has been determined by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, which includes physical inspection and tool functions, electrical safety and frequency measurement performance testing. For the results of this study on physical examination and tool function by 10%, for electrical safety checks the value obtained is 40%, performance testing is 50%.

Abstract

The Arduino Uno Based Hotplate Magnetic Stirrer Rotational Speed ​​Design has been successfully carried out. The function is to stir and heat one solution with another solution which aims to make a homogeneous solution with the help of a Magnetic stir bar (Stir Bar). The purpose of this design is to know the design of the HotPlate Magnetic Stirrer with 400 Rpm Rotation Speed ​​Settings and to determine the accuracy of the Hotplate Magnetic Stirr rotation speed. The method used is the experimental method. The components in this design are Arduino uno and consist of DC Stepper motor components, motor drivers, 20x4 lcd. The working principle of the design of the hotplate magnetic stirrer based on Arduino Uno. The PLN AC 220V current enters the power supply which converts to a DC voltage of 12V 10A, then Arduino Uno receives a DC voltage of 12V to turn on circuits such as motor drivers that require 12V voltage directly from the power supply, 9V stepper motors, 5V buzzers. Furthermore, the stepper motor will run according to the command set on keyped. To compare the rotational speed settings, use the tachometer calibration tool. The test results show the Rotational Speed ​​of the Arduino Uno-Based Hotpate Magnetic Stirrer, the rpm rotation speed is in accordance with the settings and the results obtained are 10% tolerance.
