Abstract

The research conducted at PT. Farm Delta Peniwen Makmur which is located in Peniwen Village, Kepanjen District, Malang Regency for a month in July – August 2020. The research objectives are 1. To find out the strategy for developing pig farming business at PT. Farm Delta Peniwen Makmur Kepanjen Malang, 2. To find out what factors influence the development of pig farming at PT. Farm Delta Peniwen Makmur Kepanjen Malang 3. To find out the position of the business when viewed from the pig farming strategy at PT. Farm Delta Peniwen Makmur Kepanjen. Primary data is obtained from interviews with respondents, while secondary data is obtained from reports from companies and related agencies, literature owned by companies, and writings related to the topics discussed. The sampling method used total sampling, namely owners, managers, and employees of PT. Delta Peniwen Makmur in Kepanjen, Malang. The interview process uses a list of questions in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses SWOT analysis, namely analyzing the IFE matrix, EFE matrix, IE matrix and SWOT matrix. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of the analysis is that in the SWOT matrix, the WT strategy is the most dominant in quadrant IV, which is 1.4 with the results of the IFAS and EFAS calculations on the Cartesian diagram (–0.249 ;–0.164). The company seeks to minimize weaknesses and avoid threats by improving product quality, human resources, production quantities, owners can be responsible for all decisions, carry out innovative promotions, provide maximum service at affordable prices, maintain good relations with distributors or customers regarding complaints that arise. exist, and companies can seek market opportunities in different areas. Suggestions that can be quoted from the conclusion are that companies can further maximize existing strengths and opportunities such as maintaining good relationships with employees, agents and customers, expanding marketing areas by conducting digital promotions, improving production quality, providing affordable prices along with price discounts, and no less important being able to establish relationships with competitors to grow the economy of the surrounding community. Abstract

Beef cattle are essential among Indonesian farmers as supporting assets and livelihood through cattle breeding especially for rural breeders with the most preferred breed is Indonesian Ongole cattle known as PO cattle. It is essential to analyze and determine the PO cattle rural breeders' income based on the marketing channel analysis. The study aimed to determine the marketing channel's efficiency and the PO cattle rural breeders' income. This study site was Bojonegoro regency, stipulated as The National Agricultural Site of beef cattle commodity in the East Java Province. Ninety-three respondents were chosen based on a stratified random sampling of marketing channel stakeholders. This is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional survey method. Marketing channel analysis and marketing efficiency analysis compare with the PO cattle price level using descriptive statistical analysis. The result shows six marketing channels involve in delivering PO cattle to the last consumer as beef meat. It can be concluded that the fourth marketing channel is the most efficient marketing channel that gives the highest income for PO cattle rural breeders.Keywords: Marketing efficiency, National Agricultural Site, PO cattle, price, rural breeders

Abstract

The study was conducted on several independent pattern broiler breeders in Karangploso District, Malang Regency, East Java Province. This type of research is quantitative research. The choice of location is based on the consideration that based on secondary data obtained from the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Office of East Java Province, it is stated that Karangploso Subdistrict is one of the regions with the largest broiler population in Malang, amounting to 1,044,402 in 2018 (Malang Animal Husbandry, 2018). This aim of this research is to analyze the average amount of income and the amount of profit generated from independent pattern broiler chicken farming in Karangploso District, Malang Regency. Data collection was carried out in January 2019 - February 2019 with a purposive sampling method with criteria. The sample used is all independent breeders of broiler chicken with a total of 13 respondents. Quantitative analysis is calculated from total revenue, revenue, R / C ratio, BEP, ROI, and Payback Period (PBP). The results can be concluded that the independent pattern of broiler business in Karangploso District is feasible to be developed. The calculated value of the R / C ratio, BEP, and ROI is increasing from year to year. The average R / C ratio> 1, which is 1.07%. The average value of BEP, ROI, and PBP increased from 2016 to 2018, so that the independent broiler chicken breeding business can be declared profitable and feasible to be developed.

Abstract

This research was conducted a many of broiler farmers who partnered with PT. SMS in Blitar district. The data collection was conducted during June – July 2014 that focus on the elasticity of the business production of a farm broiler a partnership system PT. SMS. Research method used is a method of survey sample with the determination of the sampling method purposively namely broiler chicken farmers who implement the program partnership with PT. SMS Indonesia. The number of the overall sample can be taken a number of the population of 60 people as representatives of farmers. Variable research used is the number of broiler, the purchase of DOC, the work force, the cost of feed, vitamins and medicine, electricity, mortality, the cost of production, and the number of family members. Data analysis conducted includes data qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis is the calculation of the production costs, revenues, and income. Qualitative analysis of the aims to calculate factors affecting business production of the use of Cobb-Douglasregression analysis. Data processing from the result of this research conducted using the SPSS version 16,0. The research results show that mortalitas and its cost of production a factor of production that is very significant to affect elastic and wreak on the number of businesses production. Conclusion shows that 1 ) mortalitas and its cost of production is of factors affect elastic and wreak on the amount of the production of 2 ) the number of cattle, the purchase of d.o.c, the cost of feed, and its cost of production is the factors that are not elastic against the production of business. Advice in research to 1 ) farmers more selective in the election of the seeds of doc who will be maintained and noticed a big factor cause of death of livestock so that the number can be suppressed mortalitas 2 ) the use of the factors of production and business capital is more efficient, because with the use of production factors efficient will affect the amount of income production

Abstract

This research was conducted on February 1, 2022 to March 1, 2022 in the PFH Lactation cattle group in Pesanggrahan Village, Batu City. Pesanggrahan Village Community. The research objectives of the formulation of the problem are 1) to analyze and find out how the profile of smallholder dairy farmers of Friesien Holstein lactation in the lactating PFH cattle group in Pesanggrahan Village, Batu City. 2) to analyze and determine the milk production of lactating Friesien Holstein Crossbreeds in the Lactation PFH Cattle group in Pesanggrahan Village, Batu City. This type of descriptive research is research conducted by searching/exploring (exploration) and an action that aims to obtain explanations and clarification of certain problems (clarification) regarding a phenomenon or social reality. The dairy farmer profile includes: 1) Respondent's identity, namely education level, age, sex, and length of breeding, 2) Ownership scale of Friesien Holstein Lactation cattle, 3) Type of feeding, and 4) Frequency of feeding. The conclusions that can be drawn during the implementation of the study are 1) The profile of smallholder dairy farmers of PFH Lactation are of productive age, with the most recent education level being elementary school. Most breeders have more than 10 years of experience and are dominated by small-scale small-scale farmers, 2) Dairy cow milk production in Pesanggrahan Village is on a medium – low scale, with the highest number in Toyomerto Hamlet. Abstract

The purpose of conducting research based on a review of the formulation of the problem is to analyze and determine the factors of production, economic value, and the role of the government which have a simultaneous and partial influence on the interest in rabbit farming business in Malang Regency. This type of research uses quantitative research, namely research based on the philosophy of positivism and data collection is carried out using research instruments. The sampling method was carried out by surveying the people who had livestock and ornamental rabbits. The technique used in this study is a sampling technique with the condition that the sample used is broiler and ornamental rabbit breeders in Karangploso District, Malang Regency, which has a population of 20 rabbits and a minimum of 3 years of experience in raising livestock. The respondents were 30 farmers. Data processing is carried out through 3 stages, namely validity test, reliability test, and then multiple linear regression analysis.
