Abstract

Special interest tourism is one of the forms of attraction development recommended in the Regional Tourism Development Master Plan (RIPDA) of Bandung Regency. Therefore, realizing the special interest attraction of interest in Kampung Batu Malakasari destination is the most appropriate strategy in the development of the next destination. This article discusses how the strategy in developing Kampung Batu Malakasari to become a special interest tourist attraction. using qualitative studies and SWOT analysis resulted in several recommendations related to the strategy of developing special interest interest in Kampung Batu Malakasari, are: (1) Packaging special interest attractiveness; (2) Presenting geo-tourism based education (geowisata); (3) Provide staff training as a natural and cultural interpreter; (5 Improve accessibility to increase tourist comfort; (6) Involving citizens in tourism management with the concept of community-based tourism management. Abstract

General Store is one of the important sections in Hotels that are included in accounting Deparment. The general store is a storage place for all operational items of the hotel. Each hotel makes its own eforts to keep the inventory of the hotel which will become the guest necessities. This research aims to know what eforts are made to maintain the quality of hotel operational goods through the role of general store section at The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. Is in accordance with the standard or does not give special treatment to the operational goods (ignored). The research method used is qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through interview. Interviews were conducted with general store staf, cost control staf, and trainee of food beverage at The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. The results of the research show that The Hotel Phoenix Yogyakarta made positive eforts that can reduce damage to goods stored in the general store and always ensure the goods that come to the guests in good condition, so that guests will feel satisfied.

Abstract

Efforts to increase foreign tourists related to tourist attraction need to be interpreted through the attitude of foreign tourists in their perception and expectations of service quality, so that it becomes a more measurable central point when wanting to boost foreign exchange through the tourism service sector. The research that has been done is explorative research with the descriptive quantitative method. The results showed that there were differences in perception and experience of service quality in Borobudur Temple in both groups of tourists

Abstract

Digital marketing, termasuk social media marketing, memegang peran penting dalam memaparkan banyak hal. Museum di Yogyakarta sudah banyak melakukan promosi melalui media sosial dan mengikuti tren, antara lain Museum Sonobudoyo dan Museum Sandi. Berbagai tantangan ditemui dalam mengembangkan media sosial di museum, misalnya kondisi nyata museum yang belum dapat melakukan banyak inovasi dan regulasi yang mendasari. Kedua museum (Museum Sonobudoyo milik Pemerintah Daerah Yogyakarta dan Museum Sandi adalah milik Badan Sandi Negara Jakarta) dipilih berdasarkan purposive random sampling, yaitu berdasarkan keaktifan dalam update media sosial selama 6 bulan terakhir terhitung dari Oktober 2019 ? Maret 2020. Studi kualitatif dan kuantitatif diadakan untuk menilai persepsi dan opini masyarakat terhadap museum serta mencari tahu apa yang sebaiknya ditingkatkan oleh pihak museum sehingga masyarakat semakin tergerak untuk datang ke museum. Hasil studi ini diharapkan akan menjadi panduan museum untuk memperbaiki diri dan beradaptasi dengan situasi dan trend wisata yang ada di masyarakat berdasarkan disrupsi teknologi yang ada saat ini.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the key to winning business competition today, including the tourism business. but in the field there are still many tourism people who still ignore this at this time. A phenomenon that is often encountered is cheating in business, attracting prices too high to achieve big profits in a short time, and much more. Therefore, it is very important to do counseling on how to manage good tourism services with a 5-dimensional approach to excellent service, especially for prospective tourism destinations that will develop. To find out the effectiveness of this program, a test of differences in understanding of participants has been carried out regarding excellent service, before and after counseling is conducted. The test results through different tests showed an increase in participants' understanding of excellent service after counseling.

Abstract

Loyalty has become a serious concern for the managers of tourist villages because the loyalty of tourists is a guarantee of tourism business to be sustainable. The purpose of this study is to examine how the loyalty of tourists can be created by the factors of the tourist attraction, safety, and amenities, with loyalty as an intervening, on the model of Community-Based Tourism development in Gunung Api Purba Nglanggeran Tourism Village. The analytical method used is path analysis with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that the tourist attraction is a dominant factor that gives a positive influence on the loyalty of tourists through intervention variable satisfaction. Other factors studied, namely safety and tourist facilities are not proven to affect the loyalty of tourists. This research recommends that loyalty of tourists can be achieved through efforts to improve the quality of tourist attraction. Keyword : tourist attraction, safety, amenities, satisfaction, loyalty

Abstract

Mentoring of Garongan Tourism Village: Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA Yogyakarta Collaboration Program with the Kementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/ Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Garongan Tourism Village is one of the developing tourism villages in the Yogyakarta Special Region. Garongan Tourism Village has tourism potential, including natural tourism, cultural tourism, culinary tourism. This village also has an interesting historical background as a former hiding place for thieves (Garong: Java). There are still weaknesses in the management of Garongan Tourism Village and the many tourism potentials that exist, so that this village needs improvement through the tourism village assistance program. This mentoring program results from the collaboration between the Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA Yogyakarta and the Kementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Mentoring results are measured by indicators of success, showing that the capacity of human resources and governance of the Garongan Tourism Village has increased. This mentoring program also resulted in the achievement of the Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata AMPTA Yogyakarta as the best tourism village mentoring in the top 14 National ranks by the Kementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif/Badan Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif.

Abstract

Mountain Heritage Site Padang has a huge potential ranging from its functions, values, and history as a cultural heritage, but behind the potential site of Gunung Padang heritage sites still need to create an optimal development strategy. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method that whilst the deskriptif, data collection is done by the interview methods of observation and documentation then analysis used in this study using a SWOT analysis so that it will eventually produce a strategy of the analysis results using the SWOT matrix. From the results of the research can be known that the right strategy that must be run on the site of Gunung Padang Cultural Reserve is a strategy that utilizes strengths through opportunities that exist so as to cover the various weaknesses that exist, the strategy can include the development of tourism facilities and infrastructure, service system, preservation site of cultural conservation, and improve the media promotion Keywords: SWOT, cultural heritage, cultural history

Abstract

AbstrakFenomena aktual dilapangan membuktikan bahwa pengembangan Kampung Tulip belum cukup representatif sebagai wisata bertema edukasi Budaya Belanda. Walaupun beberapa wahana telah dibangun menyesuaikan rumah-rumah khas Negeri Belanda, tetapi aktifitas wisata bernuansa edukatif belum begitu terlihat selama masa observasi di lapangan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat difokuskan pada pemberdayaan untuk peningkatan tata kelola destinasi wisata edukasi Kampung Tulip. Langkah implementatif yang telah dilakukan meliputi : (1) Menggali akar permasalahan dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata Kampung Tulip melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pengelola; (2) Memberikan rekomendasi pengelolaan melalui seminar seminar dan pelatihan pengelolaan wisata edukasi dan pariwisata berkelanjutan kepada pengelola destinasi wisata Kampung Tulip; (3) Penyediaan buku panduan pengembangan wisata edukasi Kampung Tulip.Kata Kunci : pariwisata edukasi, kampung tulip, perencanaan pariwisata AbstracThe actual phenomenon in the field proves that the development of Kampung Tulip has not been representative enough as a themed education of the Netherlands Culture. Although some of the rides have been built to match the typical homes of the Netherlands, but the activities and educational nuances have not been visible during the observation period in the field. Therefore, community service activities focused on empowerment to improve the educational tourism governance in the destinations of Tulip Village. Implementative steps that have been carried out include: (1) Exploring the core of the problem in developing Tulip Village through observation and interviews with managers; (2) Providing management recommendations through seminar seminars and training on educational tourism and tourism sustainable management to the managers of Tulip Village; (3) Provision of guidance book for educational tourism development in Tulip Village.Keywords: educational tourism, kampung tulip, tourism planning
