Abstract

Academic achievement is determined by two factors, namely internal factors originating from within the individual in this case students and external factors that come from outside the individual or things that are influenced by the environment. There are many ways to find an academic achievement, one of which uses data mining which aims to predict or classify data using a classification algorithm. This study aims to 1) find out how to apply the Naive Bayes algorithm to student achievement, and 2) see the accuracy of the Naive Bayes algorithm to student achievement. This type of research is secondary data in the form of student data obtained from the information technology center and the Ar-Raniry UIN database. This research uses Naive Bayes algorithm and random forest algorithm. The results obtained from this study indicate the highest correlation value in the initial IP variable of r = 0.783 and the leave variable has a very weak correlation level of r = 0.054. The accuracy value of Naive Bayes algorithm after cleaning is 78.0% and Random Forest algorithm variable is 76.7%.

Abstract

The development of information technology has given positive changes to the field of education. The leak mastery of technology both in terms of designing or implementing learning results caused less teacher competence and the achievement of student learning outcomes. Utilization of iSpring Suite application is based on the limitations of teachers in designing and compiling learning media. Thus, teachers are required to be able to adapt to the use of digital technology in the world of education. This study aims to facilitate the evaluation of Physics learning by using the iSpring Suite software which used laptop as a server (local hosting) and displaying student scores without the teacher checking manually. In addition, the iSpring Suite could also be used to create learning media in the form of an attractive ebook with available features. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The sample in this study consisted of three classes, two experimental classes, namely XI IPA 3, XI IPA 4 and one control class, namely XI IPA 2. The data was collected by using interviews, test questions and student response questionnaires. The result of students' responses to ebooks and iSpring Suite-assisted evaluation proved that 79% in class XI IPA 3 agreed. Based on the data, it can be concluded that iSpring Suite can be used as an alternative application in making media and material evaluation quizzes. It is also recommended that this application can be continued its application to other subjects.

Abstract

The POGIL model is a student-centered learning model with a collaborative learning type using guided inquiry that improves students' understanding of the learning process. However, the research aims to see changes in student's conceptual understanding before and after the implementation of the POGIL model. The research methodology uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-shot case study involving 14 students of SMKS Mahyal Ulum in the motorcycle ignition system material department with data collection carried out by tests (pre-test and post-test). The results showed that the average score for the pre-test was 42, 14 while the post-test results had an average score of 63, 57. It is proven that the POGIL learning model can increase students' understanding of learning by 33, 71%. The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test obtained a value of 0.024 > 0.05 so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the research, it could be concluded that the POGIL is believed to improve students' knowledge.

Abstract

Students need to learn about power distribution networks in order to comprehend how electricity is distributed from its source to its consumers. However, many students lack interest and have trouble understanding the theory of distribution systems. The goal of this study is to develop a tiny teaching tool that will be used in Class XI of the Electrical Network Engineering Department at SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to teach the concept of power distribution networks. The objective is to validate and assess the merits of employing small media while instructing students about power distribution systems. Data are gathered using an experimental methodology in this study and through validation, observation, documentation, and testing. The study's findings suggest that making small media for power distribution systems is appropriate for teaching. When compared to the pre-test score of 61.65, the final test results demonstrate a remarkable improvement, with an average post-test score of 90.00. Therefore, SMK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh's use of teaching materials utilizing tiny power distribution systems is very effective in improving students' learning outcomes in the subject of power distribution systems.

Abstract

Ar-Raniry State Islamic University management information system has been implemented based on technology. It becomes vulnerable to attacks brought on by weaknesses (vulnerabilities). The degree to which institutions are able to improve their access to authority inside the system is gauged by this research. To evaluate the server's dependability based on confidentiality, integrity, and availability, penetration testing is necessary. The NIST SP 800-115 approach, which comprises of four testing stages—planning, discovery, attack, and reporting—is used to conduct the server security assessment. The findings demonstrate the Security Management Information System contains nine vulnerabilities in various ways with varying improvements. Two of these vulnerabilities are classified as high threat: DNS Server Spoofed Request Amplification DDoS by blocking access from the public network or rejecting the query; and Interception Attack by enhancing the SSL/TLS protocol through a stunnel. The remaining seven vulnerabilities are classified as medium threat. However, Ar-Raniry's campus server vulnerability level is categorized as medium threat

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan kerena belum tersedianya media pembelajaran video tutorial serta slide presentasi kepada siswa, hal ini terlihat dari siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung yang masih berpusat pada guru, sehingga kurang kesempatan siswa untuk aktif. Penelitian dengan tujuan untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial serta slide presentasi pada mata pelajaran penerpan rangkaian elektronika. Penelitian eksperimen yang melibatkan 1 kelas saja. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode Quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pretest – posttest. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai pretest adalah sebesar 76 sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial serta slide presentasi, dan setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial serta slide presentasi untuk nilai posttest sebesar 85.6 Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh menggunakan uji sample paired T test. t hitung sebesar 3,15789 dan nilai t tabel sebesar 2,77645. Hasil ini menunjukkan taraf signifikan kurang 0,05 sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya terdapat perbedaan atau peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial dan slide presentasi
