Abstract

Information literacy has became a central issue of modern society. The rapid growth of information technology (IL) and the emergence of new digital devices not only require changes in the concept of IL itself, but also in practice. This paper discusses findings of study of design and development research with the goal of study was to develop the development of blended model of information literacy instruction (ILI) for higher education library instruction. Data were collected through a checklist, pretest, posttest, and attitude questionnaire throughout a series of formative evaluation stages. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The result showed that the A6S (analyze, select, search, sort, synthesize, share, and self-evaluation) information model effective to enhance students’ IL. offered recommendation regarding implementation in library instructions

Abstract

The study aimed to compare the influence of project-based learning and discovery learning models on biology learning outcomes by controlling students' initial knowledge. The aim of this study was also to analyze the role of initial knowledge in learning by involving the both learning models. The study was conducted in State Senior High School 4 Kendari using quasi-experimental design (Non-equivalent pretest and posttest control-group). The samples were conducted by a random sampling technique, Class XI MIA 1 as the experimental class and Class XI MIA 4 as a control class. The variables consisted of: a) biology learning outcomes as the dependent variable; b) learning models (project-based learning and discovery learning) as the independent variables; and c) students' initial knowledge as the covariate variable. The data were analyzed using ANCOVA at a significance level 0.05. The study results showed there was significant difference of biology learning outcomes between students that taught using the project-based learning and students taught using the discovery learning by controlling the initial knowledge (sig. 0.025 < ? 0.05). The average of students’ biology learning outcomes that taught using the project-based learning (76.63) was higher than students taught using the discovery learning (73,37). Then, there was the influence of the initial knowledge on students’ biology learning outcomes (sig. 0.000 < ? 0.05). The initial knowledge is one of the crucial prerequisites for learning, conceptualized as knowledge of students' relevant and dominant  content with what they learn. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan pengaruh model project-based learning dandiscovery learning terhadap hasil belajar biologi dengan mengontrol pengetahuan awal siswa. Penelitian juga bertujuan menganalisis peran pengetahuan awal dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 4 Kendari dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (non-ekuivalen pretest dan posttest control group). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling, Kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas XI MIA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari: a) hasil belajar biologi sebagai variabel terikat; b) model pembelajaran (project-based learning dan discovery learning) sebagai variabel bebas; dan c) pengetahuan awal siswa sebagai variabel kovariat. Analisis data menggunakan ANCOVA pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar biologi antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan project-based learning dan siswa yang diajar menggunakan discovery learning dengan mengontrol pengetahuan awal (sig. 0,025 <? 0,05). Rata-rata hasil belajar biologi siswa yang diajar menggunakan project-based learning (76,63) lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajar menggunakan discovery learning (73,37). Kemudian ada pengaruh pengetahuan awal terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa (sig. 0,000 <? 0,05). Pengetahuan awal merupakan salah satu prasyarat penting untuk pembelajaran, dikonseptualisasikan sebagai pengetahuan tentang konten siswa yang relevan dan dominan dengan apa yang mereka pelajari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara belajar mandiri dan motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Terbuka, yang berinduk di SMP Negeri 55 Tanjung Priok, Jakarta Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei pendekatan statistik dengan uji korelasi. Masalah yang menjadi fokus penelitian adalah (1) apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara belajar mandiri (X1) dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (Y)? (2) apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi berprestasi (X2) dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (Y)? (3) apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara belajar mandiri (X1) dan motivasi berprestasi (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (Y)?. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat hubungan positif antara belajar mandiri (X1) dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (X1 dan Y = 0.685). 2) Terdapat hubungan positif antara motivasi berprestasi (X2) dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (X2 dan Y = 0,631), dan 3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara belajar mandiri (X1) dan motivasi berprestasi (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar pendidikan agama Islam (X1 dan X2 dengan Y = 0,734).

Abstract

This research is research and development (R&D). The purpose of this research is to develop online material for the Analysis and Data Utilization Subject Course in the NFPPB Training Center. The study was conducted at the NFPPB with the aim of participants of the Family Planning Village Operationalization Technical Training. The research method refers to the Allan Jolliffe development model. The results of the development of online material for Analysis and Data Utilization can be accessed at URL http://www.annangguru.com/elearning. Online material developed using Moodle application software with moove model. The product development procedure is carried out according to the reference model of the Allan Jolliffe development. The step-by-step review process is carried out by material experts, media experts, and instructional design experts. To the target of the study conducted the one-on-one test, small group test, and field test. Evaluation is carried out until the summative evaluation stage by calculating the N-Gain Score. The results of the summative evaluation stated that the online material for the analysis and data utilization was effective in improving the learning outcomes of trainees in the NFPPB Training Center.Keywords: Web-Based Course, Development Studies, Online Materials

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan modul online yang efektif untuk meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) di SMP. Modul online ini dikembangkan untuk membantu siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) dalam mencapai standar kompetensi yang ditetapkan pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Model yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan modul online untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS adalah model Rowntree dan web based design. Data pada penelitian dan pengembangan ini dikumpulkan berdasarkan quesioner, interview, dokumen hasil belajar, dan test. Hasil uji validasi ahli materi, media, desain instruktional dan uji satu-satu menunjukkan bahwa modul online masuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS. Hasil uji keterbacaan dengan menggunakan fog-index juga menunjukkan teks pada modul online pembelajaran IPS mudah untuk dipahami. Hasil uji lapangan dengan menggunakan perhitungan t-test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan modul dengan kata lain modul online untuk pembelajaran IPS dinilai efektif dan dapat meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa. AbstractThe purpose of this research is to develop an effective online learning module to enhance student learning results. The development of the module aims at assisting junior high school students to achieve expected competencies in social studies. This research applies Research and Development method. Rowntree and web-based design models are used to develop online modules. All data are collected by document study, questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Based on the expert matter, media expert, instructional design expert, and face to face tryouts, the validity evaluation shows that the online module is appropriate and feasible to use in learning. Moreover, readability judgment using a fog-index score shows that the text is easy to understand. The result of the field trials using the t-test equation shows that there is a significant increase in students’ learning results before and after using the module. In conclusion, online module learning is effective to improve students’ learning results in order to achieve expected competencies.

Abstract

he purpose of this study is the to Mapping the three characteristic of the e- portfolios platform. This research was conducted by the design and development research method by using two methodologies: (1)Tool Use, (2) Model Development. This study collecting various types of platforms specialized to the development e- portfolios and will do a mapping of the function of the platform that has been ellected. To achieve the goal the first year will be used Expert Reviews surveys method The experts will give ratings to the three pieces of E-portfolio Platform installedin www.eportofolio.ac.id, namely Elgg, Moodle and Mahara. Based on these results, the researchers conclude Mahara Platform is the appropriate platform to be used in the learning process. It is supported ratings obtained from the experts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a learning module of Christian education for students of SMP class VIII. The methodology used is research and development method. In the development using the Derek Rowntree model consisting of three stages, namely the planning stage, preparation phase of writing, and the stage of writing and editing. The product test phase begins with the validation of the material expert, and the media expert. Then after repaired the product was tested to a number of grade VIII students, ie 3 students for individual evaluation and 30 people for field evaluation. The results show the average value of material experts 3.77 which means the product is considered very good and from media experts 3.78 which means the product is considered very good. Then in the trial stage the average yield for the individual test phase 3.63 which means the product is considered very good and at this stage the field trials test 3.98 is considered very good. Based on interviews to teachers obtained very good results. The print module of Christianity education subject of SMP Negeri Kota Tidore Kepulauan is worthy to be used in the field.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of Printing Module and Networking Printing Productive Computer for students of class X SMK. The research methodology uses R & D method. The model used is Derek Rowntree model which consists of three stages: planning, preparation of writing, writing and editing. The product testing phase begins with the validation of several material experts and media experts. Validation results by experts show the average test of material experts obtained 4.74 and media experts obtained 4.3, means the print module products are feasible and very well used. The next product tested to a number of students of class X with small group stage that is 3 respondents with face-to-face method get the overall average value 3,48, and large group trial 25 respondents with field evaluation test method obtained an average value of 4, 2 Conclusion Print module productive subjects of computer engineering and network SMK Negeri 2 Watampone good and feasible to use.Keywords: Development Research, Crane Rowntree Model, Printed material, Printed media and module Computer Asissted Instruction (CAI).

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to produce a package of Islamic religious education print modules, to determine the feasibility of a packageof Islamic religious education print modules, and to find out the effectiveness of the Islamic religious education print module package. Modules are used for selfdirected and conventional learning. The research method used is the development method. This study uses the Rowntree development model consisting of three stages of preparation, namely the planning stage, the preparation stage of writing, and the writing and editing stages. Testing the product done to the material experts showed the average score of 4.66 means that the product is considered good, and media experts of 4.79 means the product is considered very good, to students, ie 3 students for the stage face to face with the results of the average score the average of 3.30 means that the product is considered good, and 30 students for the field trial evaluation stage of 4.31 means that the product is considered very good. In conclusion the product can already be said to be good but still there needs to be some improvement in accordance with expert advice, students, and teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran remedial mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas III SMP. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metologi penelitian pengembangan. Model yang digunakan adalah model Derek Rowntree dengan 3 tahapan, yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap persiapan penulisan, serta tahap penulisan dan penyuntingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata dari ahli materi dan bahasa sebesar 3,8. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan sangat bagus. Hasil penelitian oleh ahli desain menunjukkan rata-rata 3,7. Artinya, produk ini sangat bagus. Berdasarkan uji satu-satu, hasil rata-rata sebesar 3,7. Artinya, modul ini hasilnya sangat bagus. Dari uji kelompok kecil, nilai rata-rata post test sebesar 82. Ini berarti modul mampu meningkatkan prestasi hasil belajar remedial dengan. Dari ujicoba lapangan, nilai rata-rata post test sebesar 81. Ini berarti, modul mampu meningkatkan prestasi hasil belajar remedial. Dapat disimpulan bahwa modul cetak pembelajaran remedial bahasa Indonesia untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP dapat dikatakan bagus untuk pembelajaran remedial.
