Abstract

Tanaman dari hasil kultur jaringan (in-vitro) harus melalui tahapan aklimatisasi, karena tahapan ini merupakan suatu hal yang penting, agar tanaman yang sebelumnya ditumbuhkan di dalam botol kultur dengan suplai media yang lengkap untuk dapat hidup secara mandiri dan berfotosintesis pada kondisi eksternal. Media tanam merupakan komponen utama ketika akan mengeluarkan anggrek dari botol pada masa aklimatisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari media yang terbaik bagi pertumbuhan bibit tanaman anggrek Dendrobium sp selama masa aklimatisasi. Penelitian dilakukan di dalam rumah kaca, Fakultas Pertanian Pontianak. Penelitian dimulai Juni 2012 sampai september 2012. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen lapangan dengan pola Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan jenis media yaitu m1 (lumut), m2 (sabut kelapa), m3 (cacahan pakis), m4 (arang sekam padi), m5 (akar kadaka) dan m6 (kulit kayu trembesi) dengan 4 kali ulangan dan masing- masing ulangan terdiri dari 3 sampel, pengelompokkan berdasarkan pada ukuran tinggi tanaman. Variabel yang diamati adalah Pertambahan tinggi tanaman (cm), Persentase tanaman hidup (%), Pertambahan jumlah daun (helai), jumlah anakan/tanaman, dan Pertambahan jumlah akar (helai). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengunaan berbagai jenis media berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap aklimatisasi anggrek Dendrobium sp(hibrida).Kata kunci : media tanam, Dendrobium sp(hibrida), aklimatisasi.

Abstract

PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK UREA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KEDELAI HITAM PADA TANAH ALUVIAL THE EFFECT OF GIVING UREA FERTILIZER ON GROWTH AND YIELD OF BLACK SOYBEAN ON ALUVIAL SOIL   Aliamin(1), Henny Sulistyowati (2), Evi Gusmayanti(2) (1) Faculty of Agriculture and(2) Lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University Pontianak  ABSTRACT This study aimed to obtain the best dossage of urea fertilizer on the growth and yield of black soybean cultivated on alluvial soil. This research was conducted at experimental farm in Faculty of Agriculture. Tanjungpura University Pontianak from May 2018 to August 2018. There were five levels of treastment, i.e. u0 = 0 kg urea/ha, u1 = 25 kg / ha or equivalent to 0.2 g / polybag, u2 = 50 kg / ha or equivalent to 0.4 g / polybag, u3 = 75 kg / ha or equivalent to 0.6 g / polybag and u4 = 100 kg / ha or equivalent to 0.8 g / polybag. Each treatment consistedof five replicates and four samples, hence there were 100 polybags in total. The polybags were arangged according completely randomized design (CRD). The study showed that dosage variation of urea fertilizer results the similar value of observed variables, i.e. roots volume, dry biomass, plant height and weight dry seeds of plant. However, the dosage variation of urea fertilizer has an impact to the weight of a 100 dry seeds. It seemed that the dosage of 50 kg urea/ha or equivalent to 0.4 g / polybag is the best dosage for planting black soybean in alluvial soil.Keywords: Alluvial soil, black soybean, urea fertilizer.

Abstract

This experiment aims to analyze the influence the aplicationn of fly ash at peat on the growth and crop sweet corn production. The experiment was done on peat soil at district Southeastern Pontianak, from March - May 2018. Experimental design used was complete block design one factor of treatment waste coal (fly ash) with 5 treatment, p1 = 0.75 kg per plot, p2 = 4.9 kg per plot, p3 = 8.9 kg per plot, p4 = at kg per plot, p5 = 17,02 kg per plot. All treatment to replication 5 time, the result that there are 25 plot experiment.Variable examined were long plant, dry weight, corn weight husk, corn weight without husk, corn lenght, corn diameter, plant diameter and variable supporting is temperature, humidity and precipitaion. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman sabut kelapa terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman ubi jalar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen lapangan dalam bentuk faktorial dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari satu faktor yaitu lama perendaman (P) yang terdiri dari 5 taraf yaitu p0 (1 hari), p1 (7 hari), p2 (14 hari), p3 (21 hari) dan p4 (28 hari). Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 5 ulangan. Setiap ulangan terdiri dari 5 sampel, sehingga terdapat 25 satuan perlakuan dan 375 tanaman. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini yaitu berat kering tanaman bagian atas (g), jumlah umbi per tanaman (umbi), berat segar umbi per tanaman (g), berat segar umbi per petak (g). Hasil penelitian lama perendaman sabut kelapa sebagai pupuk cair berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel jumlah umbi per tanaman, berat basah umbi per tanaman dan berat basah umbi per petak. Sedangkan lama perendaman sabut kelapa sebagai pupuk cair tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel berat kering tanaman bagian atas. Perlakuan lama perendaman14 hari (p3) memberikan rerata tertinggi pada variabel jumlah umbi per tanaman yaitu 3,24 buah, variabel berat segar umbi per petak yaitu 2804,83 g dan berat segar umbi per tanaman yaitu 186,98 g. Perlakuan lama perendaman sabut kelapa 1 hari (p0) memberikan rerata terendah terhadap ketiga variabel namun memberikan rerata tertinggi pada variabel pengamatan berat kering tanaman bagian atas. Abstract

Orangutan populations in corridor Betung Kerihun National Park (BKNP) - Danau Sentarum National Park (DSNP) has decreased each year due to habitat fragmentation, land conversion, population growth and not-integration of planning among stakeholders. The purpose of this research are: (1). Build dynamic models of orangutan management in Corridor BKNP-TNDS. (2). Formulating management scenarios orangutan in Corridor BKNP-TNDS. This research has using primary data from interviews and focus group discussions (FGD), whereas secondary data from the results of previous research, journals and other information. The method of research used geographic information systems (GIS) to see the forest cover, stakeholder analysis to find of interests and influence among stakeholders and dynamic system to analyze variables that affect orangutan habitat and population. The study produced three scenarios orangutan management in Corridor BKNP-DSNP based on habitat carrying capacity. The first scenario is forest cover remains and oil palm plantation area corridor is not opened, the second scenario is the forest and oil palm plantations implementing regulation PP No. 71 Year 2014 concerning the protection and management of peatland ecosystems. Third scenario is adds to the forest cover in BKNP and TNDS. The possible scenario is added at the forest cover in both area BKNP and DSNP to obtain the environmental carrying capacity of the habitat of orangutans. Research recommendations is importance building orangutan habitat corridors that are acceptable to all stakeholders

Abstract

Kelompok peduli pesisir memiliki peranan penting dalam rehabilitasi dan perlindungan hutan mangrove, khususnya berkaitan dengan upaya menumbuhkan aspek kelembagaannya. Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja kelembagaan, peran stakeholders, dan hak pemilikan hutan yang mungkin diwujudkan setelah rehabilitasi mangrove dianggap berhasil, serta untuk mendeskripsikan beberapa dimensi pentingnya sebagai model pengelolaan hutan mangrove. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September 2021 hingga Agustus 2022 di Kelurahan Setapuk Besar- Kota Singkawang, Kalimantan Barat, melalui suatu metode campuran: kuantitatif-kualitatif. Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan dari 78 responden warga komunitas pesisir dengan cara wawancara terstruktur, sedangkan data kualitatif diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan kunci. Analisis data kuantitatif mengenai kinerja kelembagaan diukur dari proporsi warga yang mengetahui terhadap aturan utama perlindungan hutan mangrove, sedangkan secara kualitatif dilihat dari partisipasi anggota kelompok dalam rutinitas kegiatan rehabilitasi dan konservasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem kelembagaan telah berfungsi dengan baik, buktinya sekitar 90 persen warga pesisir mengetahui aturan perlindungan hutan mangrove di komunitasnya. Selain itu partisipasi anggota kelompok dalam aksi rehabilitasi atau konservasi melalui inisiatif kelompok merupakan faktor kunci keberhasilan. Dimensi penting dalam menjaga keberlanjutan konservasi mangrove di sekitar kota pesisir adalah melalui pemeliharaan kelembagaan lokal dan penumbuhan ekowisata. Tittle: Analysis of the Success of Mangrove Forest Management: A Case Study on Rehabilitation and Conservation by the Coastal Care CommunityCoastal care groups have an essential role in rehabilitating and protecting mangrove forests, particularly concerning efforts to grow their institutional aspects. This study aims to analyse the institutional performance, stakeholder roles, and forest property rights that may be  realized after the success of mangrove rehabilitations, and to describe some of its essential dimensions as a model for mangrove forest management. This study was conducted in September 2021 until August 2022 in Setapuk Besar-Singkawang city, West Kalimantan, through a mixed methods: quantitative-qualitative. Quantitative data were collected from 78 respondents of the coastal communities using structured interviews, while qualitative data was gotten through in-depth interviews with the key informants. Quantitative data analysis, concerning the institutional performance is measured by the proportion of residents who know the main rules for protecting mangrove forests, while qualitatively it is seen from the participation of group members’ in their routine rehabilitation and conservation activities. The results showed that the institutional system has functioned well, as evidenced is around 90 percent of the coasta residents knowing precisely the rules for protecting the mangrove forest in their community. Besides, the group members’ participation in rehabilitation or conservation actions through group initiatives is the key to success. An important dimension in maintaining the sustainability of mangrove conservation around coastal cities is through the maintenance of local institutions and the growth of ecotourism.
