Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of advertising and variety seeking behaviour for brand switching for SIM card to other brands in the Faculty of Economy Padang State University. The research was conducted in the Faculty of Economy Padang State University, and the populations in this study are all students Faculty of Economy Padang State University who used SIM cardand ever transition to other brands. Samples were taken with an accidental sampling method using Cochran formula, with a total sample of 100 people. Data collection technique is to use questionnaires and documents. The data analysis technique used is path analisys using SPSS version 16.00. Results of this study showed that: 1) Advertising influence for variety seeking behaviour forSIM card. 2) Advertisingnot significantly influence for brand switching forSIM card3) Variety seeking behaviour influence for brand switching forSIM card. Keyword: Advertising, variety seeking behaviour, and brand switching

Abstract

Shopping orientation is defined as a form of interest attached to the individual and then provides motivation in making a purchase of a product. Shopping orientation has an attachment to social relationships because it involves how consumers reflect consumer conditions in the shopping environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of store layout, interior appearance, and people on shopping orientation at Matahari Basko Grand Mall Padang. In general, the results of this study indicate that: store layout has a significant effect on shopping orientation at Matahari Basko Grand Mall, interior appearance has a significant effect on Shopping Orientation at Matahari Basko Grand Mall. Meanwhile, humans have no significant effect on Matahari Basko Grand Mall Shopping Orientation

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the effect of dissatisfaction, variety seeking, electronic word of mouth, and religiosity on the brand switching of other cosmetic products into Wardah cosmetics.Methodology - The population in this study were students from Padang State University who used Wardah cosmetics. The sampling technique is nonprobability sampling, with a purposive sampling method. The number of samples obtained was 394 respondents from the population. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software.Finding - The results of the study show that simultaneously each variable used significantly influences brand switching from other cosmetics to Wardah cosmetics. Partially, the dissatisfaction, variety safety, electronic word of mouth, and religiosity variables have a positive and significant effect on brand switching from other cosmetics to Wardah cosmetics. The coefficient of determination for dissatisfaction (X1), variety seeking (X2), electronic word of mouth (X3), and religiosity (X4) variables accounted for 43.2% for brand switching from other cosmetics to Wardah cosmetics while 56.8% was influenced by other factors. Keywords: Dissatisfaction, Variety Seeking, Electronic Word of Mouth, Religiosity, and Brand Switching

Abstract

This study aims to test and prove empirically the influence of hedonic shopping motivation and shopping lifestyle on e-impulse buying students at Padang State University at Lazada.co.id. The object of this study was students from Padang State University. The number of samples is as many as 100 respondents, the selection of samples using purposive sampling, which is the determination of the sample criteria ever bought at Lazada.co.id and do e-impulse buying. Hypothesis testing is done by using multiple regression analysis and tested using the SPSS version 16.0 application. The results of the study show that hedonic shopping motivation and shopping lifestyle have a positive and significant effect on e-impulse buying. Keywords: Impulse Buying, Hedonic Shopping Motivation, and Shopping Lifestyle

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis: (1) Pengaruh hedonic shopping value terhadap impulse buying pada Tokopedia (2) Pengaruh shopping lifestyle terhadap impulse buying pada Tokopedia (3) Pengaruh hedonic shopping value dan shopping lifestyle terhadap impulse buying pada pelanggan Tokopedia.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan kausalitas. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang pernah membeli produk di Tokopedia dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 100 dan teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear berganda.Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah hedonic shopping value dan shopping lifestyle berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying pada pelanggan Tokopedia di Kota Padang secara simultan sebesar 58,1sedangkan sisanya sebesar 41,9% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Variabel hedonic shopping value tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap impulse buying sedangkan shopping lifestyle berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulse buying pada pelanggan Tokopedia di Kota Padang.Keywords: Hedonic Shopping Value, Impulse Buying, Shopping Lifestyle,Tokopedia.

Abstract

This research aims to examine: (1) the influence of green product against PT Indomobil Suzuki brand image in the city of Padang, and (2) the influence of green promotion against PT Indomobil Suzuki brand image in the city of Padang. Type of this research is quantitative research analysis techniques, using korelasional, which is the population in this research is the entire consumer users of Suzuki in Padang city of unknown amount. Researchers took samples of as many as 100 people. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The type of data in this study are the primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained by spreading the now's research. Technique of data analysis is the analysis of descriptive and Inductive analysis. Test the hypothesis in this study was conducted with the test t (t-test). The results of this research show that: (1) Green Product has the insignificant effect towards the brand image, (2) Green Promotion has the significant effect towards brand image.Keywords: Brand Image, Green Product, and Green Promotion.

Abstract

Purpose - This study analyses: (1) The effect of the quality of information on satisfaction (2) the effect of system quality on satisfaction (3) the effect of service quality on satisfaction (4) the effect of satisfaction on repurchase intention. (5) the effect of information quality on re-purchase intention trought satisfaction as an intervening variable (6) the effect of system quality on repurchase intention trought satisfaction as an intervening variable (7) the effect of service quality on repurchase intention trought satisfaction as an intervening variableMethodology - This type of research is causative research. The population in this study were consumers who had used Blibli.com in the city of Padang, whose numbers were unknown. By using purposive sampling we use 230 correspondents. This study used an online questionnaire as an instrument for data collection. This study analyzed data using structural equation modeling (SEM) with PLS 3.0 software packages.Finding - The results of his study indicate that: (1) Information quality has a significant effect on satisfaction (2) System quality have a significant effect on satisfaction (3) Service quality have a significant effect on satisfaction (4) Satisfaction have a significant effect on repurchase intention (5) Information quality has a significant effect on repurchase intention trought satisfaction as an intervening variable (6) System quality have a significant effect on repurchase intention trought satisfaction as an intervening variable (7) Service quality has a significant effect on repurchase intention trought satisfaction as an intervening variable. Keywords: Repurchase intention, satisfaction, service quality, system quality, information quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze: (1) The effect of benefits on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile on students in the city of Padang, (2) The effect of trust on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile for students in the city of Padang, (3) The effect of ease of use on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile for students in the city of Padang, and (4) The effect of security on consumer perceptions of BRI Mobile on students in the city of Padang. This type of research is a quantitative research. The population of this research isan unknown number of students in the city of Padang use BRI Mobile. The method used is purposive sampling method. The number of samples is 100 people. The data used are primary and secondary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to students in the city of Padang. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis through multiple regression analysis. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the attractiveness of advertising, prices, and electronic word of mouth on the interest of users of Grab online transportation services in the city of Padang. The type of research used in this study is descriptive causative research. The population in this study is the people of Padang City who have seen Grab advertisements and know information about Grab, but never used Grab's online transportation services in Padang City. The sample used was 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were using questionnaires, and sources of literature. Descriptive analysis tool using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variable attractiveness of advertising and electronic word of mouth has a significant and positive effect on user interest, while the price variable does not significantly and positively affect the interest of Grab online transportation service users in Padang City.  Keywords: User Interests/Consumer Buying Interests, Advertising Attractiveness, Price, and Electronic Word of Mouth
