Aceh Tamiang Regency is one of the regencies through the division in 2002 in Aceh Province. In the 2019 Legislative Election, the Gerindra Party of Aceh Tamiang Regency succeeded in defeating the Party that has always been the winning party in the previous period, namely the Aceh Party, a party with religious ideology or conservative Islam . The majority vote was won by the Great Indonesia Movement Party by getting 6 seats or 20% of the total seats in the Aceh Tamiang DPRK. This research was conducted with in-depth interviews with 5 (five) informants and Focus Group Discussions (DKT) with 5 (five) people, the informants answered about what factors led to the election of legislative members in Aceh Tamiang Regency in 2020. Many people assumes that money and the popularity of the main capital in winning the Pileg contestation. However, in the context of the 2019 Aceh Tamiang Pilleg, this was not entirely the case, many other factors led to the election of legislative members from the Gerindra Party. Because many candidates who have more financial capital but are not elected, the electability of legislative members is influenced by their good track record, massive performance of the success team, and the support of religious and community leaders

Serdang Bedagai has successfully developed a literacy program. This success has led to Serdang Bedagai receiving the Literacy Award from the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2017. This success cannot be separated from the leadership role of Ir. H. Soekirman as Regent of Serdang Bedagai. There are two main roles of the Regent's leadership, Ir. H. Soekirman, in developing the literacy program in Serdang Bedagai. First, it acts as a literacy model. Soekirman has set an example by his fondness for reading books, writing books, writing rhymes and poetry. Every year he reads at least 6 books, and has produced 12 of his own. Second, it acts as a policy maker to make programs related to literacy. With his role, Soekirman has established local regulations related to literacy, Decree of the Literacy Program Implementation Team, Library Development Decree, and budget allocation policy for literacy

Media massa memiliki peran yang strategis dalam membentuk persepsi dan opini masyarakat terhadap suatu pemberitaan. Dalam konteks pembangunan daerah kebijakan yang ditempuh kepala daerah akan mudah diketahui oleh masyarakat secara luas melalui pemberitaan di media massa, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konstruksi pemberitaan tentang pencitraan Bupati Bireuen pada program pemberian beasiswa dan bedah rumah kepada masyarakat tidak mampu di Kabupaten Bireuen di Koran Serambi Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme. Data diperoleh dari studi dokumentasi dan studi pustaka serta wawancara dengan redaktur koran. Dalam melakukan analisis studi ini menggunakan analisis framing yang dikembangkan oleh Pan dan Kosicki. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat konstruksi pemberitaan yang menciptakan makna positif bagi citra diri Bupati Bireuen

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan, keterampilan dan kemampuan pegawai terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Organisasi Perangkat Daerah Kecamatan Medan Sunggal Kota Medan baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Metode penelitian Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan populasi dan sampel seluruh seluruh pegawai pada OPD Kecamatan Medan Sunggal. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, kuesioer penelitian, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan uji asumsi kelasik dengan uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas , dan heteroskedastisitas. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji secara simulta (f), uji secra parsial (t) dan uji determinasi (R2). Hasil penelitian Hasil pengujian secara simultan nilai F hitung 114,321 dan nilai Sig. adalah 0,000. Diketahui nilai F hitung 114.321 lebih besar dari F tabel 3,093 dan nilai Sig adalah 0,000 lebih kecil 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahauan (X1), keterampilan (X2), dan kemapuan (X3) secara bersama-sama atau simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja.Nilai penghitungan hasil koefisien determinasi (R2 ) memiliki nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,821 yang berarti 82,1 persen. Nilai tersebut dapat diartikan variabel pengetahuan, keterampialan, kemapuan mempenagruhi kinerja ASN pada OPD Kecamatan Medan Sunggal sebesar 82,1 persen, sedagkan sisanya sebesar 16,9 persen dijelaskan oleh variabel atau faktor lainnya.

Tuti Halawa, a student from Nias who migrated to the city of Medan to continue her education at university. However, in interactions with the Medan community, Tuti experienced shock, she felt the Medan community's communication style was like someone angry. As a newcomer, Tuti comes to a new area that has a different language, culture, and tribe, she definitely feels a culture shock, but she is also required to adapt to that environment so that her interactions with the surrounding community are more comfortable. Based on this phenomenon, researchers are interested in analyzing the communication styles of Nias students in Medan. The purpose of this study was to analyze the communication style and cultural adaptation of Nias students in the city of Medan and identify the obstacles students experience in adapting. This study uses the theory of communication styles and cultural adaptation. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection was carried out using interview and observation methods. The subjects in this study were determined using a purposive technique. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Miles and Huberman interaction model. The results obtained from this study found that Nias students experienced a change in communication style from a high-context communication style to a low-context communication style. In interaction with the Medan community, Nias students experience culture shock in the process of cultural adaptation. Overall, Nias students have managed to adapt well.
