Abstract

Penciptaan karya ikon-ikon visual berupa seni patung yang unik dan khas yang diletakan pada lokasi-lokasi wisata selain memiliki fungsi daya tarik juga sebagai sarana pendidikan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan  menciptakan seni patung selamat datang di ruang publik bertema figur wayang Punokawan untuk menambah daya tarik kawasan wisata Selorejo Kecamatan Dau Malang,  sekaligus berfungsi sebagai media pendidikan karakter bagi masyarakat dan pengunjug. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi koordinasi tim pelaksana bersama mitra sasaran dalam memecahkan permasalahan,  persiapan alat dan bahan, perancangan bentuk patung berupa gambar desain patung yang dilengkapi dengan petunjuk teknis pembuatannya, proses pembentukan rancangan bentuk karya seni patung, perakitan karya dan finishing karya di lokasi serta evaluasi.  Hasil kegiatan kreatif tersebut berupa gambar desain rancangan dan hasil karya seni patungbertema figur wayang punokawan berjumlah empat buah tokoh punokawan yaitu Semar, Bagong, Gareng, dan Petruk yang terpajang di kawasan objek desa wisata. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pengunjung lebih tertarik dengan kawasan wisatanya dan lebih mengenal budaya lokal yang hampir punah. Kata kunci— Desa wisata, Seni Patung Punokawan, Pendidikan Karakter Abstract The creation of works of visual icons in the form of unique and distinctive sculptures placed at tourist locations, apart from having an attraction function also as a means of education. This service activity aims to create welcome sculpture in public spaces with the theme of Punokawan puppet figures to add to the attractiveness of the tourist area of Selorejo, Dau Malang District, as well as to function as a medium for character education for the community and visitors. The implementation method includes the coordination of the implementation team with target partners in solving problems, preparing tools and materials, designing a sculpture in the form of a statue design drawing equipped with technical instructions for its manufacture, the process of forming the design of the form of sculpture, assembling the work and finishing the work on site and evaluation The results of these creative activities are in the form of design drawings and sculptures with the theme of punokawan puppet figures totaling four punokawan figures, namely Semar, Bagong, Gareng, and Petruk which are displayed in the tourist village area. The evaluation results show that visitors are more interested in the tourist area and more familiar with the local culture which is almost extinct. Keywords— Character Education, Punokawan Sculpture, Tourism village

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of the formation of the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) in Malang and the form of Javanese cultural preservation carried out by the school of culture. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The process of extracting data was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation, and literature study. The results showed that the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) was established to preserve the culture and artistic heritage of the ancestors, particularly Javanese culture and arts. The activities carried out at the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) include ngangsu kaweruh or conducting studies on cultural history and heritage arts (especially Javanese culture), and others. Based on the AGIL concept by Parsons, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) can survive and develop until today due to four aspects. The first is an adaptation, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) adapts by freeing people to participate in activities according to their interests and wishes, and free of charge. The second is goal achievement. The school has various activities that are used as a basis for achieving the goal, namely preserving Javanese culture. Then the integration is carried out through the formation of an organizational structure, as well as holding various activities and promotions. The last one is latency, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) maintains patterns or systems through innovation in learning models, activities, and promotions.

Abstract

The current pandemic which was caused by the COVID-19 has weakened Indonesia's economic conditions, which resulted in a decline in demand for businesses engaged in food and beverages. This encourages SMEs in Kampung Tahu Kediri (Kediri's Tofu Village) to utilize social capital in maintaining and developing their businesses. The purpose of this research is first to analyze the role of social capital in the development of new product innovations for SMEs in Kampung Tahu Kediri. Second, to analyze the role of social capital in building a network of SMEs Kampung Tahu Kediri. The data were collected through observation and interviews and analyzed qualitatively. The results are the following;  first, social capital plays an effective role in the development of new product innovations because every business owner has elements of resources, relationships, and networks. This product innovation can bring benefits for business actors. Second, social capital plays an effective role in building SME networks in Kampung Tahu Kediri because business actors can utilize elements of resources, relationships,  and networks. The network that is built can increase the existence of Kampung Tahu Kediri in various cities.

Abstract

Village community-based nature tourism is currently getting a lot of public attention. The government through its empowerment program also provides support to village communities when developing natural tourism in their area. The effectiveness of this empowerment program will later be able to improve the economy of rural communities sustainably. As is done in Coban Putri nature tourism, Tlekung Village, Junrejo District, Batu City. This research is qualitative, using a descriptive approach.While the sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique, where informants are determined based on their role related to the development of natural tourism in Coban Putri. The purpose of this study was to determine how influential the Coban Putri natural tourism area is on the improvement of the economy of the Tlekung Village community after developing tourist attractions. The results obtained from this study indicate that the Coban Putri natural tourism area has sufficient influence on the economy of the Tlekung Village community, especially after development, so it is important for the government and the community to participate in developing Coban Putri natural tourism through empowerment programs so that it always has more appeal for tourists who visit.

Abstract

Ranupani Village is administratively located in Senduro District, Lumajang Regency, East Java Province. The naming of Ranupani Village refers to a mountain lake that is very famous among climbers of Mount Semeru, namely Ranu Pani. In addition, there are also two mountain lakes located close to the village area, namely Ranu Regulo and Ranu Kumbolo. Most of the Ranupani Village area is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park conservation area (TNBTS) so that the landscape condition of Ranupani Village is still maintained. In addition, Ranupani Village is 1 of 10 priority tourism villages developed by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industries. As a priority tourist destination, Ranupani Village presents beautiful landscapes and has the potential for a diversity of beliefs (religions) that have been preserved since ancient times. The purpose of this community service activity is to map the natural and social potential of Ranupani Tourism Village to develop community-based tourism. Based on the results of observations and focus group discussions, it was found that the need for strategic efforts that can encourage the participation of residents so that Ranupani Village tourism does not only rely on natural potential but also introduces local wisdom, especially in environmental management and Tengger Tribe customs. In addition, the culinary and souvenir sectors are potentials that can be optimized as the carrying capacity of natural tourism owned by Ranupani Village. Finally, a grand design for developing local community-based tourism is needed by prioritizing cross-sectoral communication and coordination, especially local tourism actors who are the last guard for the future of Ranupani Village.

Abstract

One of the diversity that Indonesia has is in terms of local culture. This culture can be in the form of tangible and intangible culture. One of the intangible cultures is the tradition Selamatan by most of the Javanese Muslim community, one of which is in Wonosari Village, Malang. Selamatan is held to fulfill someone's nadzar or for the purpose of connecting humans and the god to ask for salvation in life and the next life. In addition to Selamatan, there is also a puppet tradition that is held to tell various kinds of stories according to the request of the respondent and for the purpose of ruwatan. The purpose of this study was to determine the syncretism of culture and religion in the tradition of Selamatan and wayang performances. Where syncretism can be seen in the food served, the scripts and mantras that are read, as well as the stories on the puppets that are delivered. The sample used was purposive sampling and data collection methods were observation and interviews. This study uses qualitative research methods and data processing uses Miles and Huberman's analysis. Dalam keanekaragaman yang dimiliki Indonesia salah satunya yaitu dalam hal kebudayaan lokal. Kebudayaan ini dapat berupa budaya benda dan tak benda. Salah satu budaya tak benda adalah tradisi selamatan yang dilakukan oleh sebagian besar masyarakat Islam suku Jawa, salah satunya di Desa Wonosari, Malang. Selamatan ini diadakan untuk memenuhi nadzar dari seseorang atau untuk tujuan penghubung antara manusia dengan sang pencipta untuk memohon keselamatan dalam hidup dan kehidupan selanjutnya. Selain selamatan juga ada tradisi pewayangan yang digelar untuk menceritakan berbagai macam cerita sesuai permintaan penanggap dan untuk tujuan ruwatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengenai sinkretisme budaya dan agama dalam tradisi selamatan dan pagelaran wayang. Dimana sinkretisme terlihat pada makanan yang disajikan, skrip dan mantra yang dibacakan, serta cerita pada pewayangan yang dibawakan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan metode pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan pengolahan data menggunakan analisis Miles dan Huberman.

Abstract

Abstrak Tradisi merupakan salah satu bentuk kebudayaan yang lahir dan melekat di tengah kehidupan masyarakat. Tradisi yang masih hidup di kalangan masyarakat khususnya petani di Pulau Jawa adalah tradisi methik pari. Tradisi tersebut masih dapat dijumpai di Dusun Ngadirejo, Blitar. Tradisi ini kemudian menjadi sebuah realitas sosial keagamaan masyarakat yang sudah ada sejak zaman dahulu. Dalam perkembangan masyarakat digital, tradisi tersebut masih mengakar pada masyarakat. Peneliti menggunakan teori tindakan sosial tradisional Max Weber sebagai pisau analisis pada penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi methik pari telah menjadi kepercayaan dan kebiasaan yang dilaksanakan secara turun temurun oleh masyarakat tani Dusun Ngadirejo. Tradisi methik pari memiliki tujuan untuk mengucap syukur dan memanjatkan doa kepada Tuhan. Doa tersebut berupa ungkapan syukur atas anugerah kekayaan alam dan kelancaran bercocok tanam. Tradisi ini juga dilakukan sebagai wujud kepedulian lingkungan dan penghormatan atas perjuangan para leluhur. Dalam prakteknya, tradisi-tradisi tersebut menerapkan serta mengajarkan nilai-nilai agama pada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, tradisi methik pari kemudian menjadi sebuah realitas sosial keagamaan dalam kehidupan masyarakat.

Abstract

The phenomenon of students studying while working is not a sticky thing in society, many students choose to study while working for various reasons. Facing the world of work must be faced with the provisions of work regulations that part-time workers must be able to adapt, coming from the world of education and plunging into the world of work is not an easy thing because they have to divide their thoughts into several focuses. This study aims to describe and analyze the dynamics of part-time worker while working and how the power patterns exercised by workplace owners over part-time worker. The method used in this research is qualitative. The data collection method used in-depth interviews and observations in the work environment of part-time worker. The research informants were selected purposively by requiring that they were in college while working part time. The results of the study explain that the owner of the workplace has a broader pattern of power and dominance due to his higher position than the worker, the power patterns including salaries below the minimum wage, binding work regulations, and policies that are more profitable for the workplace owner. The dynamics felt by part-time working students are also a challenge in terms of adapting to the world of work. Fenomena mahasiswa kuliah sambil bekerja bukanlah hal yang tabu di masyarakat, banyak sekali mahasiswa yang memilih untuk kuliah sambil bekerja dengan alasan yang bermacam-macam. Menghadapi dunia kerja pasti dihadapkan dengan ketentuan peraturan kerja yang harus bisa diadaptasi oleh mahasiswa pekerja paruh waktu, datang dari dunia pendidikan dan terjun ke dunia kerja bukan suatu hal yang mudah karena mereka harus membagi pikirannya menjadi beberapa fokus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis mengenai bagaimana dinamika mahasiswa pekerja paruh waktu selama bekerja serta bagaimana pola kekuasaan yang dilakukan pemilik tempat kerja terhadap mahasiswa pekerja paruh waktu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam beserta observasi di lingkungan kerja mahasiswa pekerja paruh waktu. Informan penelitian dipilih secara purposive dengan mensyaratkan bahwa mereka sedang kuliah sambil bekerja paruh waktu. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa pemilik tempat kerja memiliki pola kekuasaan dan dominasi lebih luas dikarenakan posisinya yang lebih tinggi daripada pekerja, pola kekuasaan tersebut diantaranya gaji dibawah UMR, peraturan kerja yang mengikat, serta kebijakan yang lebih banyak menguntungkan pemilik tempat kerja. Dinamika yang dirasakan mahasiswa pekerja paruh waktu juga menjadi tantangan dalam hal beradaptasi di dunia kerja.

Abstract

The last decade of 2019, the world was in an uproar with the emergence of the corona virus disease (Covid-19) outbreak which first appeared in the city of Wuhan, China and spread throughout all countries including Indonesia. Covid-19 has had a significant impact in terms of socio-cultural and economic aspects. This study aims to describe the impact of Covid-19 which has contributed to the social transformation of the people of Pancasila Village, Sukoreno in maintaining the stability of government regulations against Covid-19. This research uses qualitative methods by collecting data through interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted with the village government, religious leaders, and the people of Pancasila Village, Sukoreno. The data analysis technique used an interactive model. The results showed that the 'pagebluk' paradigm is still strongly attached to rural communities in responding to the Covid-19 virus. Pagebluk is an assumption that is believed by the community in the form of "balak" or disease. This disease is believed to provide a deterrent effect to the community because they have neglected to carry out the orders and traditions in the Pancasila Village area, Sukoreno. The existence of Pagebluk causes social and cultural transformation in the local community. Various policies, regulations and agreements related to the handling of Covid-19 are relevant to changes in the socio-religious routine in society. The impact of Covid-19 is used as a strengthening of the relationships that are built in the community in dealing with Covid-19 by using the cultural basis and local wisdom of each religion and belief. The cultural-religious basis is the main aspect of carrying out social transformation by collaborating together across religions as a form of integrity in facing Covid-19. In addition, social reality confirms that the village level FKUB (Religious Forum for Religious People) can optimize the value of mutual cooperation in order to respond to the batara times that caused riots in a religious plural society. Dekade terakhir tahun 2019, dunia di gemparkan dengan munculnya wabah corona virus disease (Covid-19) yang kali pertama muncul di Kota Wuhan, Cina dan menyebar ke seluruh negara termasuk Indonesia. Covid-19 menimbulkan dampak signifikan dalam aspek, sosial-budaya, dan ekonomi. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dampak Covid-19 yang berkontribusi terhadap transformasi sosial masyarakat Desa Pancasila, Sukoreno dalam menjaga kestabilitasan peraturan pemerintahan melawan Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Wawancara dilakukan dengan pemerintah desa, tokoh agama, serta masyarakat Desa Pancasila, Sukoreno. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa paradigm ‘pagebluk’ masih melekat kuat terhadap masyarakat desa dalam menyikapi virus Covid-19. Pagebluk merupakan suatu asumsi yang diyakini oleh masyarakat yang berupa “balak” atau penyakit. Penyakit ini dipercaya akan memberikan suata efek jera kepada masyarakat karena telah lalai dalam menjalankan perintah dan tradisi di wilayah Desa Pancasila, Sukoreno. Adanya Pagebluk menyebabkan transformasi sosial dan budaya pada masyarakat setempat. Berbagai kebijakan, regulasi dan kesepakatan terkait penanganan Covid-19 berelevansi terhadap perubahan rutinitas sosial keagamaan di masyarakat. Dampak Covid-19 dijadikan sebagai penguat relasi yang terbangun di masyarakat dalam merentas Covid-19 dengan menggunakan basis budaya dan kearifan lokal pada masing-masing agama dan aliran kepercayaan. Basis budaya-agama menjadi aspek utama melakukan transformasi sosial dengan melakukan kolaborasi bersama lintas agama sebagai wujud integritas menghadapi Covid-19. Selain itu, realitas sosial menegaskan bahwa FKUB (Forum Keagamaan Umat Beragama) tingat desa dapat mengoptimalkan nilai kegotongroyonga guna menyikapi batara kala yang menyebabkan kerusuhan di tengah masyarakat plural beragama. Sehingga tokoh agama memiliki peran penting dalam mendisiplinkan masyarakat untu melaksanakan ritual keagamaan di Desa Pancasila, Sukoreno.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana permasalahan yang timbul pada pembelajaran online selama masa pandemi COVID-19 di SMA Negeri 8 Malang dan peran Bimbingan Konseling (BK) dalam menangani permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan reduksi data dan disajikan dalam bentuk matriks. Narasumber penelitian ini dipilih dengan purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa permasalahan pembelajaran dikategorikan menjadi dua yaitu permasalahan yang dialami Guru dan permasalahan yang dialami Siswa oleh karena itu, BK melakukan penanganan terhadap permasalahan tersebut yang dilakukan secara bertahap yaitu analisis masalah, penanganan lebih lanjut dan pemberian tindakan preventif.
