Abstract

Abstract: Honda official workshop (AHASS) is a maintenance and repair service company for motorcycle products of Honda. To fulfill customers demand, the company management tries to improve employee performance in order to make their consumers satisfied with the offered service. The objectives of this research are to significantly examine the direct influence of quality of work life and work satisfaction on employee performance and the indirect influence of quality of work life and work satisfaction on employee performance through organizational commitment. This is an explanatory research with the sample consists of 50 (fifty) employees of Honda official workshops in Sumbersari District, Jember. Data were analyzed using path analysis with SPSS 19. The results show that quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment; work satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and organizational commitment; and organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work stress, organizational climate, and employee engagement on work satisfaction and turnover intention of the staffs of Education Department of Probolinggo Regency. The research sample consists of 83 respondents. Data were analyzed using path analysis. Results of the research show that work stress, organizational climate, and employee engagement have direct effect and indirect effect through work satisfaction on turnover intention of the staffs of Education Department of Probolinggo Regency. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of trust towards the leader, mutation, and organizational culture on work motivation and employee performance at Regional Revenue Board of Jember Regency. This is an explanatory research with the sample consists of 150 employees of Regional Revenue Board of Jember Regency. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Results show that trust towards the leader, mutation, and organizational culture have significant effects on work motivation; mutation and work motivation have significant effects on employee performance. However, trust towards the leader and organizational culture have no significant effects on the employee performance at Regional Revenue Board of Jember Regency. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of personal technical ability andtraining of information system operator on the performance of local managementsystem (SIMDA) mediated by actual usage in the Government of BondowosoRegency. This is a quantitative research using explanatory approach. Thepopulation was all operators of SIMDA/the compilers of financial statements. Theresearch sample consisted of 62 respondents. Data were analyzed using pathanalysis. The results showed that the personal technical ability of the informationsystem operator had a significant effect on the performance of SIMDA and actualusage; training of system users had no effect on performance of SIMDA and actualusage; and actual usage had a significant effect on performance of SIMDA.Keywords: Personal Technical Ability, System Operator Training, Performance,and Actual UsageAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan teknikpersonal dan pelatihan operator sistem informasi terhadap Kinerja SistemManajemen Daerah (SIMDA) Keuangan melalui adopsi layanan (actual usage) diPemerintah Kabupaten Bondowoso. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatifdengan pendekatan explanatory research. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalahoperator SIMDA/penyusun laporan keuangan di Pemerintah KabupatenBondowoso dengan sampel terdiri dari 62 operator. Data yang diperoleh daripengisian kuesioner responden diuji menggunakan uji analisis jalur (path analysis).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan teknik personal sistem informasiberpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja SIMDA dan adopsi layanan; pelatihanpada pemakai sistem tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja SIMDA dan adopsilayanan; dan adopsi layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja SIMDA.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Teknik Personal, Pelatihan Operator Sistem, Kinerja,dan Adopsi Layanan.

Abstract

This study is aimed to examine the company's production performance in the quality control department by implementing the Six Sigma DMAIC Method. Research is conducted on small tobacco business namely CV SUUD for its specific cigarette product called SKM 88 Golden Taste. The cigarette production data are collected for the period of March 22, 2019 to April 22, 2019 while the data are then analyzed using Six Sigma DMAIC Method (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Using the descriptive method, the results show that the SKM 88 Golden Taste cigarettes produced during the period of observation contains defect such as deflated, porous, and non-sticky glue. The production performance of SKM 88 Golden Taste cigarettes in the research period is at the level of 11.353 Defects per Million Opportunities (DPMO) or equivalent to 3,78 Sigma. This finding indicates that CV SUUD lost its revenue by 25% to 40% cause by the defect in the production which is important for small company like CV SUUD to improve its quality control by refining its standard procedure as suggested by the Six Sigma evaluation.

Abstract

Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku manajer untuk mengendalikan tingkat keuntungan suatu perusahaan dan informasi keuangan. Studi empirik membuktikan ada 5 faktor yang berhubungan dengan manajemen laba yaitu ukuran perusahaan, tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan, financial leverage, proporsi saham pemilik perusahaan, penjamin emisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan 34 perusahaan industri sebagai sampel penelitian yang go publik antara 1995 sampai dengan 1997 di Bursa Efek Jakarta. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan Total Accrual Multivariate yaitu Ordinary Least Square model, menunjukkan bahwa hanya ukuran perusahaan yang mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan pada perusahaan yang go publik, dan variabel yang lain tidak signifikan.

Abstract

Experiment of the influence  of quality service on customers satisfaction and loyalty in a pay TV Indovision branch of Jember is intended to (1) test qualityinfluence services to the customers satisfaction. (2) test quality influence services to customers loyalty. (3) test the  influence of customers satisfacion to their loyailty. The Population in this study is all customers in a pay TV Indovision branch of Jember, meanwhile the target of this study is  exhaustive and active users of Indovision's service. Determination of sample size of 140 consumers ,conducted by Accidental Sampling. The method of analysis used in this study is structural equation. And results of analysis showed that quality services significantly ascendant to customers satisfaction, the quality services significantly ascendant to customers loyalty and signifantly ascendant satisfaction to loyalty of the customers. The influence of quality services to customers loyalty  have the most dominant factors  compared with the influence of quality services towards the customers satisfaction and satisfaction of influence of customers loyalty.

Abstract

Based on the results of research in the Faculty of Economics, University ofJember on the influence of the physical work environment, organizational cultureand work motivation on employee performance This study used path analysis (PathAnalysis) with data processing using Statistical Product and Service (SPSS Versi.15)The results of the study show that the Physical Working Environment (X1), andCultural Organization (X2), the motivation of Work (Y1) simultaneously positive andsignificant effect on employee performance (Y2). This can be concluded when thefourth variable is certainly increased employee performance also increased.Physical Work Environment (X1) partially not significant effect on employeeperformance (Y2). But with the results of a positive coefficient of the workingenvironment then lambatlaun improve the performance of the company to generatebetter employment process takes long enough to be supported by a conduciveenvironment, the results of the work will be the maximum in accordance with thedesired company. Cultural Organization (X2) partially not significant effect onemployee performance (Y2). Good organizational culture will produce output that isalso good that the realignment of work habits do not tutas should be avoided.Motivation (Y1) partially positive and significant impact on employee performance(Y2). Motivation needs to be improved in an effort to stimulate the performance ofemployees, with rewards for the work that deserved the employee will improve itsperformance which will have a positive impact on the company.

Abstract

The shrimp is one of Indonesia's main export commodity. Since 2004 intensive shrimp farmers cultivation of vannamei shrimp. Intensification of shrimp farms require of quality and quantity of fry. This study aimed to analyze the influence of marketing mix variables on purchase decision and satisfaction and loyalty intensive shrimp farmers in purchasing shrimp fry to the hatchery. The marketing mix consists of variables: product, price, distribution, promotion, people, physical evidence, process. This research is an explanatory  research and  confirmatory study with a sample of intensive shrimp farmers horseshoe area of East Java. Analysis of causal relationships between variables and test research hypotheses using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). Research results shows that marketing mix variables that influence purchase decisions are price, people, physical evidence and that affects customer satisfaction is product, price, distribution, people, processes and purchasing decisions affect the satisfaction and loyalty of farmers and also satisfaction effect on loyalty.   Shrimp hatchery needs to pay attention to their marketing mix strategies to influence purchasing decisions and get the satisfaction and loyalty of farmers as their consumers.
