Abstract

The destination and goal of this research is whether the Wizer.me-based blended learning model can successfully improve mathematical literacy skills. The design of this article is the pretest and posttest control groups. The article used by the researcher is a quasi-experimental type. The instrument applied is an essay test and the process of taking part of the members is random. All members of the school used are class VII SMP Negeri 23 Medan which has 6 classes. Some of the members or samples studied were from students in room VII-A totaling 25 people and room VII-B totaling 25 people. To analyze the data by calculating the mean, normality of the data, homogeneity the data, hypotesis testing and analysis of the student's answer process. From the results obtained that all data analysis of students in class VII-A who were given treatment was higher than students in class VII-B who were not treated, namely 9.2 > 5.8. The conclusion is that the Wizer.me-based blended learning model improves students' mathematical literacy skills.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak didik pada konsep trigonometri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap siswa-siswi kelas XI IPS MA AL ITTADIYAH di Kota Medan dengan sebanyak 21 anak didik. Data yang di peroleh melalui tes tertulis terhadap siswa. Tes tertulis berupa 4 buah soal yang sudah mendapatkan validasi oleh Dosen Trigonomeri. Wawancara yang diberikan berupa tanya jawab secara langsung kepada siswa-siswi. Data yang di peroleh melalui hasil tes tertulis, yaitu Hasil data yang di analisis menggunakan persentase dari hasil jawaban tes soal siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yang berkemampuan tinggi sebanyak 50,5% dengan hasil yang sesuai standart jawaban soal, 23,82% siswa dengan kemampuan sedang melakukan kesalahan karena kurang teliti dan terlalu tergesa-gesa pada saat mengerjakan soal, dan 23,68% siswa dengan kemampuan rendah karena kurangnya pengetahuan siswa terhadap rumus-rumus pada materi trigonometri sehingga siswa kesulitan dalam mengerjakan soal yang di berikan.

Abstract

The assessment that is currently being developed in the world of education is (KLM) or mathematical literacy ability and is measured from (SE) or self-efficacy of students. This study aims to determine whether students' abilities can increase with the model that has been implemented. The researcher used a quasi-experimental design with a "pretest-posttest control group design". All members were used as a population of 84 students from SMA Angkasa 1 Lanud Soewondo Medan with 56 tenth grade students as samples. two Classes were divided into 2 groups, namely experimental and control. The instruments or measuring instruments used are description tests and questionnaires. Samples are taken at random. From the overall results obtained by students in the experimental class in mathematical literacy skills, it was obtained 32% of students who reached a high level, 65% medium levels and 3% achieved low levels. While the results in the control class were 3% of students who achieved high levels, 40% of sedans and 57% of students who achieved low levels. In addition, because learning is accompanied by wordwall applications (learning games), students find learning more enjoyable and eager to repeat it.Keywords: Mathematical Literacy Skills, Self-Efficacy, Blended Learning, Wordwall
