Abstract

Effect of Age Transplanting Seedling and NASA Liquid Organic Fertilizer Concentration on Cacao Seedling Growth (Theobroma cacao L.)ABSTRACT. The objective of this experiment was to study effect of age transplanting seedling and NASA liquid organic fertilizer concentration on cacao seedlings growth and to know interaction of the two factors. The experiment used randomized block design with factorial pattern. There were 2 factors that studied. First factor was age transplanting seedlings: age transplanting seedling 14, 21, and 28 days after seedling. Second factor was NASA liquid organic fertilizer concentration: 0.5; 1; 1.5; 2; and 2.5 ml/l water. The result showed that the best of cacao seedling growth on age transplanting seedling 21 days after seedling and NASA liquid organic fertilizer concentration 2,0 ml/l water. There was not significantly interaction between age transplanting seedlings with NASA liquid organic fertilizer concentration on all cacao seedling growth variables that studied.

Abstract

Some Ways Application and Level EM-4 Concentration on Growth Seed Cacao (Theobroma cacao L.)ABSTRACT. Crop productivity is strongly influenced from the seed which will produce plants vigor and healthy. Efforts to get a healthy cacao seedling and various treatments which required strong support in creating an optimal environment to grow. One of these efforts is to use the potential of soil microorganisms endemic in growing media through the application of bio-activator (microorganisms) of land. This study aims to determine how and concentration of appropriate gifts in order to obtain good growth of cocoa seedlings and to determine whether there is linkage between these two factors tested. The design used was randomized block design with factorial pattern. 3x3 and 3 replications, so there are 27 units experiment. There are two factors studied, namely the factor for granting the solution of EM-4 (C) consist of 3 levels, and concentration factor of EM-4 (K) consisting of 3 levels. The result showed that the influence of the method of solution of EM-4 is only significant effect on high-added cocoa seedling age of 60 and 70 DAT. The way of EM-4 is best through the soil only. While on the other variables had no significant effect. While the EM-4 solution concentration significantly affected the height increment of seedling of cocoa age of 70 DAT. The best concentration of EM-4 was 5 ml/l of water. In addition to higher seed, the concentration tested did not significantly effect other variables. There was no significant interaction between the route of administration with a concentration of EM-4 for all variables observed the growth of cocoa seedling.

Abstract

Seed Viability and Form of Seedling Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) Condition Based on Moisture Media Planting and Deep SeededABSTRACT. Plant that have a high productivity has always started with the best planting material, both in the form of seeds or seedling. Agronomic inputs would be more optimal if the plants have optimum vigor. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of water on medium condition of seedlings and planting depth on seed viability and vigor of seedling of cacao. The result showed that the germination medium water conditions have no significant on all variables observed. While the depth of planting the seed in cultivation media has a very significant effect on potential germination, seedling vigor and dry weight, but no significant effect on height and weight of epicotyls weight wet. The best variables values found in the seeds are planted as deep as 4 cm from the surface of growing media. Besides seed viability and vigor of seedling planted at a depth indicated that different is not severely affected by the condition of water at planting media.

Abstract

Nutmegg Seed (Myristica fragrans HOUTT) Viability Scarification on Several Levels and The Concentration of Young Coconut Water.ABSTRACT. One of the efforts to eliminate the mechanical barrier is by scarification treatment (scrubbing) the seed that becomes a thin shell that easily enter the water and air. Besides the presence of growth regulators in seed also be an important factor for accelerating the growth of seedlings. The experimental design used in this research in Completely randomized design (CRD) 3x3 factorial with three replications. There are two factors studied, namely scarification percentage and the concentration of young coconut water. Increased nutmeg seed viability and seedling vigor due scarification treatment , except for potential growth. Scarification 100% gives the acceleration of growth was significantly different from the seed without scarification but not significantly different from the scarification 50%. Concentration of 100% coconut water could also accelerate the growth of normal seeds without significantly as compared with young coconut water immersion, but not significantly different from the concentration or 50% young coconut water. There were no significant interaction between treatments were tested on the viability and vigor of seed germinating of nutmeg.

Abstract

Fertilization Residual Effect Growth on Organic and Inorganic for Lettuce Plant (Lactuca sativa L.) With Used in Tsunami SoilABSTRACT. Remediation of former tsunamis can be made with organic and inorganic fertilizer. Efforts to improve tsunami land using organic ingredients, to create a land that is good for plant growth is by maintaining a balanced plant nutrient availability. This can be done by the way of inorganic fertilizer. Most needed nutrients plants in large numbers and balanced is the elements nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) how far the effect of organic and inorganic fertilizers on the growth of lettuce and elemental content of NPK in soil and plant remains problems that need to be tested. The experimental design used in this research is completely randomized design (CRD) 4 x 2 factorial with three replications. There were two factors studied, namely manure doses (K) and NPK fertilizer doses Pearl (M). Increased plant growth and nutrient content of lettuce N, P, and K in soil and plants due to organic and inorganic fertilizer application is highly dependent on the those administered. Fertilizer combinations that produce the best growth of lettuce plant was obtained in combination with organic fertilizer 30 ton ha-1 with the addition of inorganic NPK fertilizer 1000 kg ha-1, particularly in the first planting, and has decreased in the second planting. Residues of organic and inorganic fertilizer application also affected growth and nutrient uptake, but the effect is lower than the effect at the beginning of giving fertilizer.

Abstract

Effect of Growing Media and Sprinkling Frequency on Growth and Yield of Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) in Verticulture SystemAbstract. This study aims to determine the influence of growing media and watering frequency on growth and yield of lettuce using verticulture system and the interaction between the two factors. The design used was randomized block design (RBD) with factorial pattern. 4x3 and 3 replications, so there were 36 experimental units. There are two factors studied, namely factor planting medium (M) consist of four level, and watering frequency factor (P) consisting of three levels. The result showed that the effect of growing media and watering frequency on lettuce plant significantly to the growth and yield of lettuce plant, including plant height, length, width, and number of strands of lettuce of the age of 10, 20, 30 days after planting (DAP) and wet weight age 30 DAP. The best planting medium found in the soil planting medium. While the best watering frequency found 1 day 2 times. There was no significant interaction between the growing media and watering frequency on all growth variables and lettuce plants were observed.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis kompos dan interval penyiraman yang tepat untuk bibit kelapa sawit. Dosis kompos terdiri dari 1, 1.5, dan 2 kg/polibeg yang berisi media tanam campuran kompos dan tanah andisol dengan berat total 5 kg/polibeg. Interval penyiraman terdiri dari 1, 2, dan 3 hari sekali dengan penyiraman sebanyak 1 liter air. Dosis kompos berpengaruh terhadap pertambahan diameter pangkal batang bibit kelapa sawit umur 30, 60, 90 HST, luas daun umur 30, 60, dan 90 HST, panjang akar umur 90 HST. Pertumbuhan tinggi bibit kelapa sawit terbaik pada dosis kompos 1,5 kg/polibeg. Interval penyiraman berpengaruh terhadap tinggi bibit kelapa sawit umur 30,60 dan 90 HST, pertambahan luas daun umur 30 HST, panjang akar umur 90 HST, dan pertambahan diameter batang bibit kelapa sawit umur 90 HST. Pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit terbaik terdapat pada interval penyiraman 3 hari sekali. Terdapat interaksi antara dosis kompos dan interval penyiraman terhadap tinggi bibit kelapa sawit umur 60 HST, pertambahan diameter pangkal batang bibit kelapa sawit umur 30 HST dan diameter pangkal batang bibit kelapa sawit umur 90 HST. Pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit terbaik terdapat pada dosis kompos 2 kg/polibeg yang disiram 3 hari sekali. Terdapat kecenderungan makin tinggi dosis kompos dalam media tanam, semakin tahan bibit sawit dengan interval penyiraman yang lebih panjang.Response of Compost Dosage and Watering Interval on Growth of Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) SeedlingABSTRACT. The objective of the study to determine the effective of compost dosage and watering interval on growth of oil palm seedling. Dosage of compost consist of 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 kg/polyibag and watering interval: every day, every 2 days, and every 3 days, watering with 1 liter of water for every seedeling with 5 kg soil/polybag. The result showed that compost dosage had signifficant effect on increasing of stem diameter palm seedling at 30, 60,90 after planting, broad of leaf at 30, 60, 90 after planting, length of root 90 days after planting, weight of fresh biomass, 90 days after planting. Growth of palm seedling best at 1.5 kg compost/polybag. Watering interval had significan effect on hight of palm seedling at 30, 60 and 90 days after planting, increasing of broad of leaf at 30 days after planting, length of root at 90 days after planting. The best growth of palm seedling found at watering interval every 3 days. There were significant interaction between compost dosage and watering interval on hight of palm seedling at 60 days after planting, increasing of palm stem diameter at 30, and 90 days after planting the best growth of palm seedling found at treatment combination 2 kg compost/polibeg and every 3 days watering interval.

Abstract

Oil Palm Seedling Growth on Various Planting Media Compotition and Seprint Leaves Fertilizer Concentration ABSTRACT. The objective of this experiment was to study effect of various planting media compotition and Seprint leaves fertilizer concentration on oil palm seedling growth. The experiment used block randomized design with factorial pattern 3 x 3 and 3 replicants. There were two factors that studied. First factor was planting media compotition (K1 = 1 : 3; K2 = 1 : 2; K3 = 1 : 1). Second factor was seprint leaves fertilizer concentrations (S1 = 2 ml/I water; S2 = 3 ml/I water; S3 = 4 ml/I water). The result showed that the best oil palm seedling growth on planting media compotition 1:3 (cow manure : soil). The best result of oil palm seedling growth was sprint leaves fertilizer concentration 2 ml/I water. There was not interaction between planting media compotition and sprint leaves fertilizer concentration on all oil palm seedling growth variables that were studied.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan tingkat kemasakan buah kakao dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair Super ACI yang tepat, serta interaksi antara keduanya, untuk menghasilkan bibit kakao yang terbaik. Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala sejak Agustus hingga Desember 2011. Unit-unit penelitian disusun berdasarkan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial 3 kali 4 dengan 3 ulangan. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis dengan analisis ragam, dan terhadap data yang menunjukkan beda nyata, analisis dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata jujur pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi yang nyata antara tingkat kemasakan buah kakao dan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair super ACI pada semua peubah yang diamati. Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair super ACI juga tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kakao. Tingkat kemasakan buah kakao yang tepat untuk menghasilkan benih masak fisiologis dengan tingkat vigor tertinggi adalah yang berwarna hijau kekuningan. The Effect of Fruit Maturity Level and Concentration of Liquid Organic Fertilizer Super ACI to Cacao (Theobroma cacao L.) Seedling GrowthABSTRACT. The purposes of this research are to determine the best cacao fruit maturity level and liquid organic fertilizer Super ACI concentration and also their interaction to achieve the best cacao seedlings. The research conducted at Experimental Station of Agriculture Faculty of Syiah Kuala University, from August to December 2011. Units of treatments arranged according to completely randomized block design, 3 by 4 with 3 replications. Data from observation analyzed with analysis of variance and to them showing significant influenced, continued with honestly significant different test at the level of 5%. The result showed that no significant interaction between treatments to all parameters observed. The concentration of liquid organic fertilizer super ACI also don’t has significant influence to cacao seedlings growth. The appropriate cacao fruit maturity level to produce physiologically matured seed with the highest vigor is those with yellowish green in color.

Abstract

Growth and Yield of Cauliflower Caused by NASA Liquid Organic Fertilizer and Plant Growth Regulator HormonesABSTRACT. Cauliflower plants in great demand, so the development of aquaculture should be developed to obtain the desired quality and quantity. The purpose of this study is to determine the concentration of NASA's Liquid Organic fertilizers and plant growth regulator Hormonik proper growth and yield of cauliflower. This research was conducted at the experimental station of Faculty of Agriculture University of Syiah Kuala Darussalam Banda Aceh, Seed Varieties used were obtained from the CV Hoggar. Aria Enterprises Banda Aceh, the foliar fertilizer used was NASA Liquid Organic fertilizers and plant growth regulator produced Hormonik PT. Natural Nusantara Indonesia. The soil used in soil types Entisol top soil from the Experimental Farm Faculty of Agriculture, University of Syiah Kuala, Darussalam Banda Aceh. There are two factors that investigated the concentration of NASA's Liquid Organic fertilizers are composed of three levels: 2, 4 and 6 cc l-1 water, and plant growth regulators Hormonik which consists of three levels: 1, 2 and 3 cc l-1 water. Variable which observed were plant height, leaf number, stem diameter at the age of 21, 35 and 49 days after planting, and the wet weight berangkasan, flower weight were observed at harvest 60 days after planted. Result of study showed that the combination of concentration and NASA Liquid Organic fertilizers Hormonik growth regulator that shows growth  and better results were found at a concentration of 4 cc l-1 water  of liquid organic fertilizer Nasa and 2 cc / l water of growth regulators hormonik.
