Abstract

The main problems faced by dodol business doers at Reksonegoro in Gorontalo Regency can be seen in marketing management and financial management. In marketing management aspect,  it is found that there are some absences in cases of branding, packaging, Home-Industry Food Certification), and Halal certification issued by Institute for Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Studies - Indonesian Ulema Council.  In financial management aspect, it is indicated that there is a mixed financial management of both business and private needs with a very low discipline causing a financial misuse for private expenses.   The aim of this service activity is to improve the product competitiveness and business management of the residents at Reksonegoro in Gorontalo Regency.  The service programs are carried out through mentoring for a more informative, attractive branding and packaging, helping the issuance of Home-Industry Food Certification and Halal Certification by Institute for Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Studies - Indonesian Ulema Council, and assisting the financial management. The outputs succeeded in each program are a dodol?s branding and logo have been created, and two packaging designs for IDR 50.000,00, and IDR 100.000,00 have been made. Besides that, the partners in this activity have achieved some certifications namely Counseling Certificate, Home-Industry Food Certificate, and Halal certificate issued by  Institute for Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Studies - Indonesian Ulema Council of Gorontalo Province.  Through mentoring, the understanding of this business partners in the matter of financial management has significantly improved.

Abstract

A rattan chair production by a joint business group engaging Mohimondalo and Iloheluma has been conventionally operated this far. This rattan production run by craftsman is taken through direct orders by clients. The production has not been supported by a mechanical technology so that it impacts on a lengthier production time consuming. This community partnership program aims to introduce the mechanical technology equipment in the rattan chair production process, and to develop the product models of rattan chair and its marketing strategy. The program implementation methods are (1) the introduction to production management in which the continuous process production model allows understanding towards the production planning pattern covering the planning and the monitoring of the production process in relation to raw material stock, types of product, and the number of products produced in the on-going period and in the future, (2) the mechanical technology dissemination through workshop and assistance of mechanical equipment use which enables workers to have understandings about the equipment use for a better skill in the application, (3) the workshop of the latest rattan chair model development, and (4) the assistance program of the marketing strategy. The outputs of the program indicate that in case of production management aspect, there has been a raw material stock which ensures a sustainable production in a scheduled period so that the production process should no longer rely on clients’ orders, the workload distribution of the workers is proportionally based on skills. In the production technology aspect, the workers have benefitted the use of seal knife, compressor engine, air stapler, and drilling machine, and been able to applied binding techniques of rattan connections. The use of mechanical technology equipment has impacted on faster production by 1-2 days consuming. In the other production aspect, there has been a development of the latest rattan chair model labeled as voltron model for more ergonomically modern living room furniture. In case of marketing strategy, there has been cooperation with furniture stores through vertical marketing system.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Program Pengembangan Desa Mitra (PPDM) yaitu menjadikan Desa Reksonegoro sebagai desa sentra produksi dodol khas gorontalo yang berkualitas. Kegiatan pertama yaitu pembangunan dan penataan rumah produksi dodol. Kegiatan kedua yaitu pendampingan sertifikasi PIRT dan sertifikasi Halal LPPOM MUI. Kegiatan ketiga yaitu pelatihan peningkatan mutu usaha bagi seluruh pelaku UMKM dodol. Kegiatan keempat yaitu peresmian rumah produksi dan desa sentra produksi dodol. Seluruh kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan Partisipatif, Community Development, dan metode Edukatif. Capaian program PPDM yaitu terlaksananya pembangunan tiga unit rumah produksi dodol yang bertujuan agar manajemen produksi dapat diterapkan untuk memenuhi standar pangan olahan. Tercapainya produk tersertifikasi PIRT dan Halal telah membuka akses pemasaran lebih luas. Tercapainya peningkatan SDM menjadi lebih berkualitas. Terlaksananya kegiatan peresmian Desa Sentra Produksi oleh Bupati Gorontalo yang menandakan tujuan kegiatan desa mitra telah tercapai

Abstract

Listrik merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat berperan penting bagi kehidupan manusia. Sehingga itu rencananya diwilayah terpencil tersebut akan diadakan pembangkit listrik yang ramah lingkungan, dan juga termasuk energi terbarukan. Kecamatan Pinogu terdapat bendungan untuk bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro (PLTMH). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar potensi air untuk menghasilkan energi listrik pada bendungan yang dapat menunjang elektrifikasi di Desa Pinogu Kecamatan Pinogu Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Metode yang digunakan dalam menghitung debit air pada bendungan tersebut dengan metode apung dan pengukuran menggunakan stopwatch. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran pada lokasi bendungan di Desa Pinogu Kecamatan Kabupaten Bone Bolango, menghasilkan potensi air dengan debit air maksimal sebesar 1,67 m3/detik, dengan tinggi terjun 3,57 meter, maka total daya maksimal yang diperoleh adalah 29,83 KW dan dapat melayani 99 rumah dengan daya masing-masing rumah sebesar 300 Watt.Kata Kunci — studi kelayakan, PLTM, Desa Pinogu.Electricity is a necessity that plays an important role in human life. So that the plan is in the remote region will be held power plants that are environmentally friendly, and also include renewable energy. Pinogu Subdistrict has a dam to be used as a source of Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH). The purpose of this study is to find out how much the potential of water to produce electrical energy in dams that can support electrification in Pinogu Village, Pinogu District, Bone Bolango Regency. The method used in calculating the flow of water in the dam with the floating method and measurement using a stopwatch. Based on the results of measurements at the location of the dam in Pinogu Village, District of Bone Bolango District, it produces water potential with a maximum water discharge of 1.67 m3 / sec, with a waterfall height of 3.57 meters, then the total maximum power obtained is 29.83 KW and can serves 99 homes with a power of 300 Watt each.Keywords - feasibility study, PLTM, Pinogu Village.

Abstract

The best solution of the problem of electrical energy crisis in Indonesia, with the utilization of renewable energy sources that are environmentally friendly, economical, sustainable, and technically easily to implemented. The model system proposed in this paper is the Photovoltaic Distributed Generation (PVDG). This paper discuss modeling PVDG by searching injection placement and size us Genetic Algorithm. Optimization is done with the concept of the four scenarios increase the value of the injection. The scenario used was an increase in injection rate + 10%, + 20% + 30% and + 40% from the initial source of generation. The obtained results show the system ideal conditions is contained in the scenario-4. The results found that 8 locations with a variety of sizing power. PVDG scenario-4 modeling results show the ability of the system to minimize power loss from 13,15% to 1,30% and the highest voltage drop -25% to -8,5% of nominal voltage.Index Terms—Photovoltaic, Distributed Generations, PVDG, Genetic Algorithm.

Abstract

Proses produksi listrik oleh pembangkit listrik tenaga biomassa tongkol jagung di Kabupaten Gorontalo menggunakan teknologi gasifikasi. Dimana proses pembakaran biomassa menghasilkan gas sintesa yang digunakan sebagai bahan bakar generator. Kualitas produksi listrik oleh generator ditentukan oleh kualitas bahan bakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai Efisiensi Gasifikasi yang dihasilkan oleh PLTBm. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan pengukuran langsung dan analisa matematik terhadap data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan massa udara dalam kondisi biomassa kering semakin meningkat seiring naiknya Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR). Peningkatan nilai AFR dapat meningkatkan suplai laju alir massa udara yang masuk ke dalam reaktor gasifikasi. Efisiensi gasifikasi terhadap variasi AFR menunjukkan peningkatan seiring naiknya variasi AFR. Proses gasifikasi membutuhkan suplai udara yang cukup dalam jumlah yang terbatas. Oleh karena itu nilai AFR dapat mempengaruhi tingkat efisiensi gasifikasi PLTBm. AFR terbaik pada penelitian ini menunjukkan AFR pada nilai 0.702 dimana pada proses ini masuk dalam kategori efisiensi tertinggi sebesar 99,17%.

Abstract

Perkembangan beban listrik perumahan dan industri menjadi penyebab tingginya gangguan hubung singkat. Sebuah solusi dengan melakukan kendali daya aktif dan reaktif melalui peralatan elektronika daya Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM). Sistem yang diuji adalah saluran transmisi 150 kV sistem Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis aliran daya menggunakan metode Newton-Raphson untuk mengetahui profil aliran daya aktif (P), reaktif (Q), sudut fasa dan profil tegangan V. Saluran yang memiliki losses daya aktif, reaktif, dan drop tegangan tinggi disertai beban yang cukup tinggi menjadi rujukan pemasangan peralatan STATCOM. Respon sistem pada saat gangguan hubung singkat menunjukkan tingkat stabilitas tegangan. Hasil analisis implementasi STATCOM menunjukkan respon sistem dapat menaikkan level tegangan sistem dari drop 8% menjadi drop 1% dari tegangan nominalnya. Penurunan rugi-rugi daya aktif sebesar 3,05% menjadi 2,86% dan daya reaktif sebesar 57,43% menjadi 53,90%. Respon stabilitas tegangan akibat gangguan hubung singkat 3 phasa menunjukkan waktu pemulihan gangguan lebih cepat setelah implementasi STATCOM. Osilasi tegangan terjadi lebih pendek jika dibandingkan pada sistem sebelum adanya STATCOM. Hasil analisis saluran transmsi 150 kV setelah implementasi STATCOM menunjukkan STATCOM dapat mengkompensasi arus pembentukan daya reaktif pada saat terjadi gangguan hubung singkat pada saluran.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Saluran transmisi 150 kVsistem kelistrikan Gorontalo yang pada awalnya terisolir kini terinter koneksi dengan sistem kelistrikan Minahasa (Sulawesi Utara). Penambahan saluran dan unit pembangkit baru berpengaruh besar pada setting ulang sistem proteksi yang digunakan. Setting ulang terhadap peralatan sistem proteksi untuk memaksimalkan kerja penyaluran energi listrik. Proses setting dilakukan utamanya pada alat proteksi utama yaitu Distance Relay (DR). Relai jarak ini bekerja berdasarkan zona kerja. Zona kerja bertujuan untuk mengetahui titik lokasi gangguan di sepanjang saluran transmisi. Gangguan yang terjadi sepanjang saluran transmisi dapat diisolir dengan cepat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada saluran transmisi yang menghubungkan Gardu Induk (GI) Isimu dengan GI Botupingge. Hasil setting ini telah menemukan hasil terbaik yaitu ;GI.Isimu Zona-1 sebesar 6,882< 74,310Ω (instantaneous), Zona-2 sebesar 12,39 < 74,3100Ω (0,4 second), Zona-3 sebesar 20,64 < 74,310Ω (0,8 second). Pada GI Botupingge yaitu Zona-1 sebesar 6,882 < 74,310Ω (instantaneous), Zona-2 sebesar 14,77 < 74,310 Ω (0,4 second), Zona-3 sebesar 25,12 < 74,310 Ω (0,8 second). Abstract

The small and medium enterprises partners for typical dodol production took longer time in cooking dodol which spend approximately 8 hours by human power. The raw material is traditionally cooked by using firewood. The raw material, heat level of firewood, and the stirring speed determine the quality of dodol produced. This activity of community service aims to apply a technology of stirring machine to produce dodol in a culturally-based enterprise activity. The solution offered to the partners is designing the stirring machine by maintaining the traditional elements for a better product quality. The cantilever body is designed by using two bases permanently planted on the floor of the cooking place so that the partners may still utilize firewood. Its strong design helps a condition of expansion effect caused by the ember. The typical dodol of Gorontalo has a solid thickness texture which requires a bigger machine torque. The driver unit implements an electricity machine of 1 Hp with 1400 rpm of speed. The electricity machine is connected to a gearbox with a 1:8 ratio aimed to reduce the machine speed. The stirrer uses a stripe metal designed with an aerodynamics concept. The small and medium enterprises partners are trained to be able to use the stirring machine for an effective process of cooking. The output target of the stirring machine technology are the cooking efficiency with 4 – 5 hours of consuming time, human power efficiency, and the increase of the daily production capacity up to twice
