Abstract

ABSTRAK     Fasilitas pelabuhan memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang aktivitas pelabuhan perikanan. Fasilitas-fasilitas di pelabuhan perikanan ini juga sangat diperlukan guna menunjang berbagai aktivitas perikanan dalam kegiatan pemanfataan dan pengelolaan sumberdaya ikan, praproduksi, produksi, pengolahan serta kegiatan pemasaran ikan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi fasilitas di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Calang dan Mengkaji tingkat pemanfaatan fasilitas pelabuhan perikanan yang ada di PPI, Calang, Aceh Jaya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November - Desember 2018. Metode yang digunakan adalah survey dan observasi langsung di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan melakukan analisis terhadap tingkat pemanfaatan fasilitas yaitu fasilitas pokok, fungsional, dan penunjang, namun hanya 4 fasilitas yang akan dihitung tingkat pemanfaatannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemanfaatan fasilitas yang terdapat di PPI Calang antara lain 100% kolam pelabuhan, 80% dermaga, kantor administrasi 0% dan TPI 0% serta perlu adanya peningkatan kapasitas fasilitas seperti dermaga yang seharusnya 96,53 m beserta kolam pelabuhan seharusnya 35.305,87 m2, karena kapasitas fasilitas sekarang masih tergolong kecil dan belum optimal memenuhi kebutuhan nelayan. Oleh karena itu, adanya kondisi fasilitas yang buruk dan tidak terpakai mempengaruhi akivitas perikanan yang ada sehingga perlu adanya peningkatan serta perbaikan fasilitas-fasilitas yang ada agar operasional pelabuhan perikanan Calang menjadi lebih optimal semakin baik lagi.Kata Kunci:  Fasilitas Pelabuhan Perikanan, PPI Calang, Tingkat Pemanfaatan ABSTRACT     Port facilities have an important role in supporting fishing port activities. Facilities at this fishing port are also very necessary to support various fisheries activities in the utilization and management of fish resources, preproduction, production, processing and marketing activities of fish. This study aims to determine the condition of the facilities at the Calang Fish Landing Base (PPI) and Assess the level of utilization of fishing port facilities in PPI, Calang, Aceh Jaya. The research was conducted in November - December 2018. The method used was survey and direct observation in the field. The data collection technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique and carried out an analysis of the level of utilization of facilities, namely basic, functional, and supporting facilities, but only 4 facilities will be calculated. The results showed that the level of utilization of facilities contained in Calang PPI included 100% port ponds, 80% piers, 0% administrative offices, and 0% TPI need to increase the capacity of facilities such as docks which should have 96,53 m along with port pools should 35.305,87 m2, because the capacity of the facility is still relatively small and has not been optimal in meeting the needs of fishermen. Therefore, the condition of poor facilities is not used to influence the existing fisheries activities so that there needs to be an increase and improvement of existing facilities so that the Calang fishing port operations become more optimal, the better.Keywords: Calang Fishing Port, Fishery Port Facilities, Utilization Rate,

Abstract

ABSTRAK     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah sebaran kandungan logam berat (Pb) pada permukaan perairan Pelalabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS) Lampulo. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan Lampulo Banda Aceh pada Maret 2019. Sampel yang diambil pada 3 titik stasiun, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan alat Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) di laboratorium BARISTAND. Hasil ananlisis menunjukan bahwa kadar Pb di stasiun I, II dan III berturut-turut adalah tidak terdeteksi: 0,0001# mg/L. Kadar logam berat Pb pada tiga stasiun pengamatan belum melewati ambang batas yang ditetapkan oleh surat keputusan Menteri Negara Lingkungan Hidup No. 51 tahun 2004 tentang baku mutu air laut yaitu (0,05 mg/L).Kata kunci: air laut, logam berat timbal Pb, Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom (SSA) ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to determine the amount of heavy metal distribution (Pb) on the surface of Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS) Lampulo. This research was conducted in the Lampulo area of Banda Aceh in March 2019. Samples taken at 3 stations were then analyzed using Atomic Absorption Specftrophotometer (AAS) in BARISTAND laboratory. The results of the analysis showed that the level in station I, II and III are not divided: 0,0001# mg/L. The levels of heavy metal Pb at the three monitoring stations have not crossed the threshold determined by the decree of the relevant state minister environment no. 51 of 2004 concering seawater quality standards, namely (0.05 mg/L).Keyword: Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS), heavy metal Pb, sea water

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of different stocking densities and to know the best stocking density on the survival and growth of Cantang grouper. Five stocking densities tested were 25, 50, 75, 100 and 125 fish/m3 with 4 replications. HDPE net cages (Prime Grade High Density Polyethylene) used consist of five plots in which the net cages measured of 3x3 meters/plots. Each of plot fitted 4 pieces of net with 1x1x1 meters size. This study was conducted over 35 days. Fish feeding was conducted for 2 times a day as much as 10% of body weight. The results showed that different stocking densities considerably affected the survival, absolute length, absolute weight, and specific growth of Cantang grouper (P 0,05). Duncan Test towards the survival, absolute length, absolute weight, and specific growth showed that the stocking density (A) 25 fish/m3, (B) 50 fish/m3, and (C) 75 fish/m3 treatment was not significantly different, but it was drastically different to the treatment (D) 100 fish/m3 and (E) 125 fish/m3. The highest value of the survival and growth of the absolute length was on the treatment of stocking density (A) 25 fish/m3, while the growth of absolute weight and the highest specific growth obtained in the treatment of stocking density (B) 50 fish/m3. Stocking densities (B) 50 fish/m3 was the best stocking density on the survival and growth of Cantang grouper. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh padat penebaran yang berbeda dan menentukan padat penebaran terbaik terhadap kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan ikan kerapu Cantang. Padat penebaran yang diuji adalah 25, 50, 75, 100 dan 125 ekor/m3 dengan 4 kali pengulangan. Keramba jaring apung HDPE (Prime Grade High Density Polyethylene) yang digunakan sebanyak 5 petak dengan ukuran 3x3 meter/petak, disetiap petakan dipasang 4 buah hapa yang berukuran 1x1x1 meter. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 35 hari. Pemberian pakan ikan rucah dilakukan selama 2 kali sehari sebanyak 10% dari bobot tubuhnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa padat penebaran yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak dan pertumbuhan spesifik (P0,05). Uji lanjut Duncan terhadap kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak dan pertumbuhan spesifik menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan padat penebaran (A) 25 ekor/m3, (B) 50ekor/m3 dan (C) 75 ekor/m3 tidak berbeda nyata, akan tetapi berbeda nyata terhadap perlakuan (D) 100ekor/m3 dan (E) 125 ekor/m3. Nilai tertinggi dari kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak didapatkan pada perlakuan padat penebaran (A) 25 ekor/m3, sedangkan untuk pertumbuhan bobot mutlak dan pertumbuhan spesifik tertinggi didapatkan pada perlakuan padat penebaran (B) 50 ekor/m3. Padat penebaran (B) 50 ekor/m3 merupakan padat penebaran terbaik terhadap kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan ikan kerapu Cantang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of seaweed bag on the growth of seaweed (Eucheuma cottoni) in Simeulue waters and to know the waters parameters of the seaweed E. cottoni growth. This research was conducted for 35 days started in February 4 to March 09, 2016. The method used was seaweed seedlings with a weight of 100 grams with a spacing of 40 cm each clump. This study used a completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of two treatments with 10 repetition stages. Each repetition was experimental unit consisting of 5 clumps. The treatment was done by using a seaweed bag (KRL) and without a KRL. Water quality parameters in the study site were still in the optimal range. The research data about the growth of the object of study were obtained by conducting analyses by using T-test and then processed by means of SPSS. The results showed that seaweed production in which is in the KRL reached 611.70 ± 123.17 g / m2. The results also showed that the treatment using KRL and without KRL were significantly different with values (P 0.05), if the value (P 0.05) then there was no significant influence. Seaweed growth by KRL is worth to be applied in order to assist seaweed cultivators in the district of Simeulue. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan kantong rumput laut terhadap pertumbuhan rumput laut (Eucheuma cottoni) di perairan kabupaten Simeulue dan Untuk dapat mengetahui parameter perairan pada pertumbuhan rumput laut E. cottoni. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 35 hari dari 04 Februari – 09 maret 2016 untuk melihat pertumbuhan rumput laut E. cottoni di kawasan perairan kabupaten simeulue. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah bibit rumput laut dengan berat 100 gram perkantong dengan jarak tanam setiap rumpun 40 cm. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 2 perlakuan dengan 10 taraf pengulangan. Tiap ulangan merupakan unit percobaan yang masing-masing terdiri dari 5 rumpun. Perlakuan yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan kantong rumput laut (KRL) dan tanpa KRL. Parameter kualitas air di lokasi penelitian masih dalam kisaran yang optimal. Data penelitian yang didapatkan dari hasil pertumbuhan rumput laut dianalisis menggunakan UJI T dan untuk mempermudah pengujian terhadap UJI T selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan produksi rumput laut yang menggunakan KRL mencapai 611,70 ± 123,17 g/m2. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan menggunkan KRL dan tanpa KRL berpengaruh nyata dengan nilai (P0,05) apabila nilai (P0,05) maka tidak berpengaruh nyata. Pertumbuhan rumput laut dengan menggunakan kantong rumput laut layak diaplikasikan untuk membantu pembudidaya rumput laut di kabupaten Simeulue

Abstract

Water quality is influenced by the high activity in the port area, resulting in decreasing water quality. The biological parameters based on the structure of the aquatic community of organisms that act as bioindicators could be indicated as changes in water quality around the port. Bioindicators are a group of living organisms susceptible to environmental changes due to human activities and natural damage. One of the aquatic organisms that can be used as an indicator of water quality is Benthos because of its sedentary nature. This study aims to determine the quality of the water environment seen from the benthic community structure, namely density, diversity index, uniformity and dominance index, to embody the clean and pollution-free Kutaraja Fishing Port. The research shows that the aquatic environment of Kutaraja Fishing Port is included as the less stable category with a moderate diversity value (H' 1) but has high benthic individual uniformity (E 0.6), which means that individuals are evenly distributed a low dominance value or C is close to 0.Keywords:Water qualityBio-indicatorBenthosKutarajaBanda Aceh
