The study aims to describe types of speech functions and reasons for using them in advertisements. Descriptive qualitative method is applied in this research with sentences found in the dialogue or conversation is the advertisement as the data of this research. The data collected is from the advertisement of electronic media. The research results in the finding of six types of speech function used in the advertisement which are the statement acknowledge statement, question, response statement to question, offer, and command with the statement as the dominant. These types are used in advertisements for descriptive and persuasive purposes.

Perkembangan kognitif adalah tahap-tahap perkembangan kognitif manusia mulai dari usia anak-anak sampai dewasa; mulai dari proses-proses berpikir secara konkret sampai dengan yang lebih tinggi yaitu konsep-konsep anstrak dan logis. Jean Piaget seorang pakar yang banyak melakukan penelitian tentang perkembangan kemampuan kognitif manusia, mengemukakan dalam teorinya bahwa kemampuan kognitif manusia terdiri atas 4 tahap dari lahir hingga dewasa. Tahap dan urutan berlaku untuk semua usia tetapi usia pada saat seseorang mulai memasuki tahap tertentu tidak sama untuk setiap orang. Keempat tahap perkembangan itu digambarkan dalam teori Piaget sebagai 1) Tahap sensorimotor: umur 0 – 2 tahun (anak mengalami dunianya melalui gerak dan inderanya serta mempelajari permanensi obyek); 2) Tahap pra-operasional: umur 2 – 7 tahun (Ciri pokok perkembangannya adalah penggunaan symbol/bahasa tanda dan konsep intuitif); 3) Tahap operasional konkret: umur 7 – 11/12 tahun (anak mulai berpikir secara logis tentang kejadian-kejadian konkret); 4) Tahap operasional formal: umur 11/12 ke atas. (Ciri pokok perkembangannya adalah hipotesis, abstrak, deduktif dan induktif serta logis dan probabilitas ). Bagi guru matematika, teori Piaget jelas sangat relevan, karena dengan menggunakan teori ini, guru dapat mengetahui adanya tahap-tahap perkembangan tertentu pada kemampuan berpikir anak di kelasnya. Dengan demikian guru bisa memberikan perlakuan yang tepat bagi siswanya, misalnya dalam memilih cara penyampaian materi bagi siswa, penyediaan alat-alat peraga dan sebagainya, sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kemampuan berpikir yang dimiliki oleh siswa masing-masing. Guru perlu mencermati apakah symbol-simbol matematika yang digunakan guru dalam mengajar cukup mudah dipahami siswa, dengan mengingat tingkat kemampuan berpikir yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing siswa.

ABSTRAKKebutuhan informasi yang cepat dan tepat dari seorang pakar kesehatan sangatlah dibutuhkan. Hal inilah yang mendorong pembangunan sebuah sistem pakar diagnosis penyakit paru-paru dengan meminta diagnosis dari user. Salah satu solusi untuk membuat sistem pakar ini agar dapat menghasilkan diagnosis yang akurat adalah dengan menerapkan salah satu metode dari artificial intelligence. Penelitian ini membahas sistem pakar diagnosis penyakit paru-paru ini dibatasi pada pembangunan sistem pakar menggunakan metode Forward Chaining dari data primer dan data sekunder di RSU Mayjen H.A Thalib Kabupaten Kerinci. Output berupa hasil diagnosis paru-paru meliputi penyakit, definisi penyakit, gejala dan nasehat atau solusi kepada pasien yang menderita penyakit tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjadikan aplikasi konsultasi penyakit paru-paru, serta sebagai sarana untuk mempermudah diagnosis penyakit paru-paru kepada seluruh pengguna. Hasil penelitian dari analisa yang diterapkan dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode forward chaining dan berbasis komputer maka sistem pakar ini dapat mendiagnosis penyakit paru-paru dan mendapatkan hasil diagnosis secara cepat dan tepat, sesuai dengan rule yang telah dikonfigurasi. ABSTRACT Audit services market in Indonesia is currently dominated by Four Public Accounting Firm (KAP), which is an affiliate of the Big 4 International Accounting Firm. These Four Public Accounting Firm (KAP) holds 88% of the audit market in Indonesia. This figure shows that the audit market in Indonesia has a high level of concentration. Theoretically, the existence of a high concentration will reduce audit quality produced. This is why audit market competition received much attention from regulators to formulate public policy regulating auditors practice. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the effect of regulation of rotation to audit market concentration in Indonesia and the effect of audit market concentration on audit quality. In addition the study also aims to examine the effect of the implementation of corporate governance regulation on the relationship between audit market competition (market concentration) on audit quality. This study used secondary data from the Annual Report from companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), KAP Activity Report, and Direktori Akuntan Publik.. Stock price and financial statements data derived from the Osiris database, IDX, ICMD and other data. Data analysis using the Least Square (LS) with panel data. In addition, trend analysis performed to analyze the market concentration in Indonesia. This study provide evidence that regulation of rotation decrease the audit market concentration in Indonesia and that market concentration (market competition) has positive (negative) effect on audit quality. Implementation of corporate governance regulation reduce the negative effect of audit service market competition on audit quality.Keywords: Audit Quality, audit market competition, regulation of rotation

This study aims to determine the effect of oyster sellers of Labor Women Against Household Income in the Village District of Barru. This study uses the labor of women oyster sellers as independent variables and the household income as the dependent variable. The population in this study is the overall female housewife of Barru as many as 50 people and research samples was determined at 28 people. To facilitate data collection, the researcher using observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis. Results of analysis in this study theorized that women's employment oyster sellers significantly affect household income in the village of Barru because the value of T-count is greater than the value of the T-table (17.848> 1.68) and a significance value <from 0,05.dan, contributing its influence is approximately 93%.

The purpose of this community service activity is to assist students in learning English by using Wordwall in classroom learning and to produce new English vocabulary for students. Considering that the mastery of English for students today has become something that is highly expected. However, based on existing developments, students often find difficulties in the learning process. One method that can overcome this is the Wordwall Method. This activity is carried out at one of the tutoring places for young learners, namely Tunas Education Centre for elementary school children, which is located at Jalan Sosial NO.1A. district. Tanjung Morawa. Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. The target participants are grade IV elementary school students, totaling 15 participants. The method used is the method of theory and practice. The results obtained through this training are innovative learning knowledge using Wordwall which is expected to increase students' knowledge and vocabulary. This training received a good response and with positive results as well. However, the same activities can be carried out simultaneously to get better results

The increase in blood sugar in type 2 diabetes mellitus is a big problem because it can have physical and psychological impacts. Type 2 diabetes mellitus can cause lifestyle changes, physical weakness, vision problems, and potentially death. All the physical issues that arise indeed have the opportunity to cause emotional problems and depression in people with diabetes mellitus. This review aims to identify research articles on managing depression with physical exercise on changes in blood sugar levels in families with diabetes mellitus. The methods used in compiling this literature review are (1) identifying variables in the literature, (2) identifying relevant literature based on topics and titles, (3) obtaining literature in complete reading form, and (4) analyzing the results of various variables in the literature. A literature search was attempted on several databases, such as US Proquest, ScienceDirect, Pubmed, and Google Scholar. The results of this review were obtained from a total of 10 evidence bases, found one qualitative study, two quasi-experiments, four cross-sectionals, 2 Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) and meta-analyses, and one randomized controlled trial (RCTs). The conclusions based on this review explain that research on the application of physics exercise for families with diabetes mellitus who are depressed with blood sugar levels above normal has decreased, which means it has a significant effect.

Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk siswa siswi kelas 1 SMP Swasta Bhakti Bangsa Sei Semayang terutama kosa kata hewan, dalam pembelajaran sangatlah minim. Salah satu komponen pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang dalam perkembangannya paling bermasalah adalah penguasaan kosakata. Kosakata (Inggris: vocabulary) adalah himpunan kata yang diketahui maknanya dan dapat digunakan dalam suatu bahasa. Kosakata didefinisikan sebagai himpunan semua kata-kata yang dimengerti atau semua kata-kata yang akan digunakan untuk menyusun kalimat baru dalam percakapan sehari-hari. Kekayaan kosakata secara umum dianggap merupakan gambaran dari inteligensia seseorang atau tingkat pendidikannya. Tujuan dari pembelajaran ini agar siswa lebih meningkatkan lagi kosakata mereka dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris terutama dalam kosa kata kategori hewan. Melalui metode ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang melibatkan komunikasi nyata mendorong hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Siswa diberi keleluasaan untuk melakukan eksplorasi dibawah bimbingan guru dengan mengamati lingkungan sekitar, unjuk hafalan dan ingatan kosakata mereka melalui apa yang mereka lihat langsung sebagai wujud nyata dari kosa kata kategori hewan tersebut. Inovasi pembelajaran menggunakan latar kebun binatang dengan harapan siswa lebih tertarik dan mudah memahami kosa kata kategori hewan karena mereka dapat melihat objek atau hewan-hewan tersebut secara langsung juga membuat siswa semakin tertarik untuk belajar kosa kata tersebut sehingga bisa memperkaya kosakata mereka. Dengan menggunakan metode ini maka pembelajaran kosakata berlangsung dengan komunikatif dan menyenangkan sehingga pemahaman siswa akan kosakata bahasa.
