Abstract

This paper presents an expert system disease of the red-eye web-based using the decision tree with forward chaining algorithms. The aims are to design and to implement a web-based expert system of disorders of the red-eye (disease) and to provide a second opinion web tool based for diagnosing the red eye (disease). The system was built using framework CodeIgniter with php and html. The experimental results show that the system has run well which is indicated by valid black box achievements, 55% of conformity to experts from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Mataram and 4.19 of five leakage scale of MOS parameter. It means that the expert system of the red-eye disease has been work properly and potentially to be implemented for the community.

Abstract

One of the tasks of a university is teaching. To keep the quality by improving the teaching qualifications, materials, teaching facilities, and infrastructure. but, one of the important things is to keep the quality of teaching. The quality of teaching can be measured from the feedback of the students. Informatics Department of Mataram University has a system to get feedback from its students called SIKBM (a questioner system for teaching). Unfortunately, not of all the students will fill this questioner because there is no interest for the students. So, we apply a web service system that connects SIKBM and SIA (academic information system). It will force the students to access SIKBM as a requirement to fill KRS (Course selection sheet) on SIA. The result shows that on even semester of 2017, we gain feedback for all of the courses we did not get in the previous years.

Abstract

Muroja’ah is a method of repeating new memorization and old memorization that be heard to other people. This method is very popular in Indonesia. In order to make the learning process isn’t boring, it is required a learning media that can be used anytime, one of them are using Android application. The research describes how to build a Qur’an recitation correction application based on Android and integrate it with Google Speech so that application built more interesting and interactive with users. Google Speech be integrate as voice input media, users requested recite Qur’an verses then Google Speech will convert their voice to text. Text result obtained then matched with text in source code. Result of testing the accuracy of Google Speech implementation on this application it’s 100%, that means it’s been as expected.

Abstract

Scholarships are one of the important components in the education system which aims to provide motivation for students to continue their studies and improve achievement. At present the selection of scholarship admissions in the technical faculty of the University of Mataram still uses manual methods. Information system selection scholarship selection aims so that the selection process for receiving scholarships can be stored neatly and effectively. The application of the scholarship recipient selection process through a computerized system will improve the accuracy of the recipient in accordance with the targets or criteria set. The system is based on applicable rules or criteria. The results of the study can be useful to assist the selection process for receiving scholarships. This scholarship recipient information system has a 62% accuracy rate in the selection process in 150 student data.

Abstract

As the number of motorcycles users are increasing in Indonesia, so is the problems of the motorcycles that they face. On the other hand, the user of the smartphone is increasing as well. Based on that matters, we can develop an application in order to help the user to cope with their problem easier. The application can help the user to find the nearest garage and motorcycles wash, in order to solve the problems, such as dirty motorcycle, flat tire, the tire burst, oil change, etc. This application was designed to provide some information about the nearest garage, the route to the garage, reveal the comments and send a message to the owner of the garage. Meanwhile, the owner of the garage can see the comments about their garage, receive an order and see the customer location. The testing technique which was used in this research were blackbox and MOS testing. The result of blackbox testing showed that all features can be run as planned, meanwhile, the MOS testing showed the customer respondents value was 84,83% and the owner respondents value was 84,77%. Abstract

In the world of music, music has several types of genre genres that can be grouped, there are music genre pop, rock, blues, slow, jazz, metal, dangdut and many more. And for each person must have a genre favorite that is different from one another, but to distinguish it does not need to play music files one by one especially if the number of music files is a lot. Therefore, computer software is needed to distinguish each of these genres in order to make it easier for users to distinguish and group the types of music according to their wishes automatically. By using the MFCC and KNN methods as a classification solution to classify several types of genre streams can be easily resolved. The results achieved from this study reached 52,4% with a K = 13 as the nearest neighboring point.
