Abstract

The purpose of this empirical research is to examine the effect of leverage, firm size, and environmental performance on firm performance on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014-2016. This research used 31 manufacturing companies that were selected using purposive sampling method for a total of 146 data in three years. The data used in this research are secondary data in the form of financial statements. Before testing the hypothesis, we did the classical assumptions test. Therefore, the statistical method used to test the hypothesis is the multiple linear regression model. The results showed that the leverage and environmental performance have a significant effect on firm performance, while firm size do not have a significant effect on firm performance. Keywords: Leverage, Firm size, Environmental performance, Firm performance.

Abstract

Tanaman secang banyak terdapat di Indonesia dimana memiliki daya simpan dalam jangkapanjang. Salah satu usaha pemanfaatan kayu secang yaitu dengan mengolahnya menjadi permenkeras. Pengolahan kayu secang menjadi permen keras juga merupakan suatu inovasi. Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji fisik permen keras ekstrak kayu secang. Penelitianmenggunakan metode percobaan dalam rancangan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan perlakuanpenambahan jumlah ekstrak FI (8,3%), FII (11,1%), FIII (16,6%). Pengamatan dilakukan terhadapmutu permen keras ekstrak kayu secang sesuai persyaratan mutu permen keras SNI 3547.1:2008,yang meliputi uji organoleptik, kadar air, kadar abu dan nilai pH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanketiga formula memiliki pH FI (5,6), FII (5,3) dan FIII (5). Hasil kadar air ketiga formula yaitu FI(0,5%), FII (2%), dan FIII (1%). Hasil kadar abu ketiga formula yaitu FI (1,6%), FII (2,2%) andFIII (1,5%). Hasil organoleptik tekstur keras dan warna orange. Hard candy dengan penambahanekstrak kayu secang memenuhi syarat mutu SNI 3547.1:2008 untuk parameter tekstur, rasa, bau,kadar air, dan kadar abu. Sedangkan nilai pH memenuhi persyaratan pH menurut Lees dan Jackson(1999).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reexamine the factors allegedly effecttoincome smoothing, whiches firm size, profitability, financial leverage, institutional ownership. The sample of this study consisted of 59 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2013 until 2015. To determine the status of grading company and not a profit grader used Eckel index. As for answering research hypothesis used Logistic Regression analysis tools. The results of this study concludes that income smoothing taken by the company to go public in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Multivariate testing using the Logistic Regression showed thatfirm size, profitability, financial leverage has significant effect on income smoothing. While, the variable institutional ownership had no significant effect on income smoothing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect ofearnings management, firm size, return on equity and dividend payoutratio on manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2014-2016.The sample was determined by purposive sampling method. The research conducted by taking 117 manufacturing companies. The result of this research showed that earnings management and firm size have no significant effect on dividend payoutratio, while return on equity and leverage have significant effect on dividend payoutratio.

Abstract

This study purpose to determine the most accurate bankruptcy prediction model in order to suitable for use in its application to manufacturing companies in Indonesia, and to determine whether there is a difference Altman models with Springate models, Altman models with Grover models, and Altman models with Ohlson models. Scope of the study is limited to manufacturing industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the years 2011-2013. This study comparing four bankruptcy prediction model by using statistic descriptive analysis techniques also Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and  paired  test  analysis  techniques  sample  t-test with  the  help  of  SPSS  program. Conclusion of this study showed significant differences between the models Altman with Springate models, Altman models with Grover  models, and Altman models with Ohlson models. And the highest level of accuracy achieved by the Grover models.

Abstract

This research examine the effect of insider ownership and institutional ownership on corporate performance on  financial sector that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange on 2007-2010.There is 11th  banking on this sample with multiple purposive sampling criteria. Research data was collected from Indonesian Capital Market Diectory. This research findings are insider ownership  significant effected  operational expenses to operational income  ratio and Loan to deposit ratio. But this failed to examine that institusional ownership  effect operational expenses to operational income  ratio and Loan to deposit ratio.  The result of this study revealed that  insider ownership and institusional ownership did not affect leverage.

Abstract

Abstract: Knowledge, Compliance, Diabetes Mellitus Diet. The purpose of this study was to identify knowledge and compliance to type 2 diabetes diet in diabetic patients in Sibela Public Health Centre Surakarta. Result of this research will be utilized for a health education program for type 2 diabetic patients in the community. Sample of this research is type 2 diabetic patients by using purposive and snowball sampling. This research also includes health professional such as a physician, nutritionist, and senior nurses for data triangulation. The instrument in this research are a netbook, tape recorder, and semi-structured questionnaire to record the data from a deep interview. The results show that there are various knowledge and compliance with a diabetes diet in diabetic patients in Sibela Public Health Centre Surakarta. Patients have incomplete knowledge about diabetes mellitus. Patients are already well known about signs and symptoms, etiology, treatment, and diabetic complication but they are still uncertain with the number of energy needed and have no diet planning. Diet compliance is still low and patients consume more carbohydrate(>65%) as a source of energy. This lack of compliance can be influenced by the low of knowledge that can be resulted from the lack of information and the low of the level of education and motivation. Refreshing of diabetes diet, family support and motivation from health professional through effective communication among health professional and family, monitoring nutritional status and appropriate diet is very important.

Abstract

Abstract : Kind II of DM, Foot Excercise, Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) Value. Many Patients that go through complications of Type II DM. One of the complication is foot diabetik, its needed implementation to prevent of the complication. The implementation that be doing is exercise. Exercise that be doing is foot exercise that have function to increase the peripheral blood circulation. The Objective of the research is to know the effect of foot exercise to Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) value of the type II of DM patient in unit of Persadia Dr. Moewardi hospital year 2015.Kind of the research is quasy experimental research. Design of the research is one group pretest post test design. The researcher conducted measurement value Ankle brachial index (ABI) before doing foot exercise and measurement Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) value after foot exercise. The analysis by using pairet test t-test. Result of the research from paired t-test, the effect of foot exercise showed findings Sig value. (2-tailed) is 0,001 or ABI value p <0.05, with average change ABI value before and after is equal to 0.05211, So from the test result of paired t-test it can be meant that Ho is rejected and Ha be accepted. That have meaning there are effect of foot exercise to ABI value.

Abstract

Background: The various symptoms will be experienced by patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 following they suffer from the disease. The symptoms include symptoms of anxiety and depression. During suffering from diabetes mellitus type 2, the patients also experienced the complication of the disease that effects the quality of life. Good management of the disease is very important to decrease mortality and morbidity. WHO stated that there is an increase of prevalence of diabetes mellitus type 2 in developing countries including Indonesia. This research aims to know the relationship between anxiety and depression to sexual dysfunction among woman with diabetes mellitus type 2 in Sibela Public Health Centre in Surakarta City. This research was also conducted to describe the level of anxiety, depression and sexual dysfunction among women with diabetes mellitus. Method: this research is non-eksperimen with a descriptive correlational design that describes research based on the distribution and then finds a correlation between one variable and other variables. Chi-Square SPSS (Statistical Program For Social Science) version 18 was utilized to analyze the data. Result: showed that there a correlation between anxiety and sexual dysfunction among women with diabetes mellitus with p-value = 0,002 ( p< 0,05). Conclusion: There was also correlation between depression and sexual dysfunction among women with diabetes mellitus with p-value = 0.000 (p < 0,05). Identification of the symptoms of anxiety, depression, sexual dysfunction is important in order to plan appropriate intervention to deal with the problem.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Penyebab kematian maternal dan perinatal terbesar dinegara berkembang adalah akibat lamanya persalinan. Persalinan yang berlangsung terlalu lama pada kala II akan menimbulkan gejala seperti dehidrasi, infeksi, kelelahan pada ibu serta asfiksia dan kematian janin dalam kandungan/ Intra Uteri Fetal Death .Lama persalinan dipengaruhi oleh 5 faktor yaitu tenaga, jalan lahir, janin, psikologis respon dan penolong.senam hamil merupakan suatu program latihan bagi ibu seha untuk mempersiapkan kondisi fisik ibu dengan menjaga kondisi otot-otot dan persendian yang berperan dalam proses persalinan, serta mempersiapkan kondisi psikis ibu,terutama menumbuhkan kepercayaan diri dalam menghadapi persalinan. Tujuan penelitian: Mengetahui hubungan keteraturan senam hamil terhadap lama persalinan kala II pada ibu ber-salin di BPM Wilayah Puskesmas Klaten Tengah. Metode Penelitian: Deskriptif analitik adalah suatu metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mem-buat gambaran atau deskripsi tentang suatu keadaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, dimana variabel bebas dan variabel terikat diukur dalam waktu yang sama. Tehnik pengambilan sampel dengan total sampling yaitu tehnik pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Hasil Penelitian: berdasarkan hasil penelitian ada hubungan antara keteraturan senam hamil dengan lama per-salinan kala II, dimana ibu yang teratur mengikuti senam hamil secara teratur sebanyak 55 ibu,lama persalinan kala II nya berlangsung normal. Ditunjukan dengan uji statistik didapatkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara keteraturan senam hamil dengan lama persalinan kala II(p value = 0,000). Kesimpulan: Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu yang teratur mengikuti senam hamil ≥ 12 kali lama persalinan kala II nya berjalan normal.
