Abstract

This study aims to see how the statistical comparison of students who have not and have taken statistics courses for non-exact students. This research is a quantitative research with a survey approach. The instrument in this study adopted the Statistical Anxiety Scale (SAS) which consists of 3 components (worry, avoidance, emotionality) with a total of 17 items with 4 scales. Respondents in this study were students of the State Islamic University of Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten in the first semester until the end of the semester. The number of samples in this study was 238. The results showed that there was no difference between the anxiety of students who had not and had taken course statistics. Nevertheless, descriptively the probability of changes in student statistics between before and after taking statistics courses. At the rate of increase the percentage decreases while at the rate of increase the percentage decreases. This shows a change in student statistics after taking statistics lessons, especially in the pandemic era by still using a bold learning system

Abstract

This study aims to determine effectivenes Simplified Cirlce Arc method used at the school level to prevent discrimination against student grades. This study National Examination data on mathematics subjects from of the Center for Educational Assessment in DKI Jakarta and Tangerang regions. Using the Rasch Model analysis, data obtained for 2135 in the DKI Jakarta (X) and 2271 in the Tangerang area (Y). The data was obtained after conducting Rasch analysis with Mean Square Outfit (MNSQ) of 0.5 <MNSQ <1.5. Replication is done 50 times for each form data distribution from each region. Results of replication then RMSE value is calculated. The results showed that equal form with normal data distribution, statistically the average RMSE with the Simplified Circle Arc method smaller than the average RMSE result of equalization with the Nominal Weight Mean method which indicates that the Simplified Circle Arc method more accurate than Nominal Weight Mean method. Likewise, with equal equations with positive skeweness and negative skewness data distribution, the average RMSE with the Simplified Circle Arc Method is smaller than average RMSE resulting in equalization of the score with Nominal Weight Mean method. A small RMSE value indicates a fairly accurate result of equalization.

Abstract

Di zaman sekarang terjadi perubahan-perubahan dinamikia sosial kemasyarakatan sebagai dampak dari adanya gempuran modernitas. Berbagai hal mendapat pengaruh dengan perubahan tersebut salah satunya berkaitan dengan tradisi yang ada di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana proses akulturasi budaya Islam pada zaman dulu dan sekarang serta hal apa yang mempengaruhi perubahan tersebut, khususnya pada tradisi ruwatan rumah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara yang dilakukan secara langsung kepada responden yang tetap menjaga kondisi alami dari masyarakat. Penelitian dilakukan di daerah Cikidi Hilir karena masyarakat masih sangat kental dengan keyakinan dengan leluhur yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2021. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 10 orang yang berasal dari masyarakat di daerah Cikidit Hilir. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling (purposive sampling) yakni ditujukan kepada masyarakat yang bermukim di daerah tersebut dan dianggap mengetahui tradisi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan pelaksanaan ruwatan rumah di Cidikit Hilir merupakan bentuk akulturasi budaya karena semua masyarakat di kampung itu beragama Islam. Terlebih dalam ajaran Islam, proses ruwatan rumah yang dijelaskan di atas tidak ada. Ruwatan itu hasil karya atau cipta yang diturunkan oleh para pendahulunya. Mengingat, tidak menutup kemungkinan, sebelum Islam datang wilayah itu masyarakatnya beragama Sunda Wiwitan. Terdapat akulturasi budaya Islam dengan budaya kokolot masyarakat dulu. Sebab, ada kolaborasi antara doa-doa yang bersumber dari ajaran agama Islam dan peninggalan kokolot dengan bahasa Sunda Kuno. Ruwat rumah sebagai bentuk penghargaan seseorang atau kumpulan yang paling ramai pencipta berkat tempat kediamannya (rumah).   In today's era there are changes in social dynamics of society as a result of the onslaught of modernity. Various things are influenced by these changes, one of which is related to the traditions that exist in society. This study aims to see how the acculturation process of Islamic culture in the past and present and what influences these changes. This research is a qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques using interviews conducted directly to respondents who still maintain the natural conditions of the community. The research was conducted in the Cikidi Hilir area where the area is still very strong with beliefs with ancestors which was carried out in December 2021. The respondents in this study were 10 people who came from the community in the Cikidi Hilir area. The sample selection used a non-probability sampling technique (purposive sampling) which was aimed at the people who live in the area and are considered to know the tradition/culture to be studied (ruwatan rumah). The results of the research conducted indicate that the implementation of home care in Cidikit Hilir is a form of cultural acculturation. Because all the people in the village are Muslims. Especially in the teachings of Islam, the process of ruwatan house described above does not exist. Ruwatan is the result of the work or copyright handed down by his predecessors. Remembering, it is possible, before Islam came, the people were Sunda Wiwitan. There is acculturation of Islamic culture with the old-fashioned culture of the people. Because, there is a collaboration between prayers that come from the teachings of Islam and the legacy of the ancient Sundanese language. Ruwat house as a form of appreciation for someone or a group of the most crowded creators thanks to their residence (house).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of mathematics learning outcomes of students in grade VIII SMP which is taught through Discovery based learning learning by using Scientific approach on Opportunity material. The type of this research is Experimental Research. The subject of this study is the students of class VIII SMP in the even semester of the academic year 2014/2015 which amounted to 40 people. The data collected consisted of data on student learning outcomes and student response data on the device and learning. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Descriptive research results data show the results of student learning taught by learning model Discovery based learning using scientific approach is in the high category with an average of 82.42 with a standard deviation of 6.09 from ideal score 100. Average value of the gain of 0.75 with a standard deviation of 0.06 from ideal score 1 is in the high category, and classical learning completeness of 87.5%, while student response is in the category tends to positive with an average of 3.29. Descriptively mastery of learning outcomes and student responses are different. Hypothesis testing of differences in learning outcomes was done with the help of SPSS 20 for significant learning outcomes with α = 0.05 and for significant normalized gain values with α = 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence on student learning outcomes taught through discovery based learning learning model.

Abstract

his research is a type of development research that is focused on developing a diagnostic test instrument to see students' conceptions. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Watampoen in class X. This research regulates the stage of developing an instrument consisting of 6 steps: (1) determining the specifications of the instrument, (2) determining the domain of the instrument, (3) determining whether the format is open-ended or closed ones to be used, (4) determining the test / instrument format, (5) determining whether the instrument is used for groups or individuals, (6) determining the length of the instrument. From this study, one third of the diagnostic tests were obtained which consisted of testing, examination format, and error checking. Giving remedials to students should not be done just like that without taking into account the knowledge that students have. By using a diagnostic test, students' understanding can be identified including what material they do not understand. This can be used as a reference for providing improvements to students

Abstract

This study aims to determine the method of equalizing a good score on a small number of items that are often found at the elementary/madrasah level. This research is a simulation study conducted by comparing capabilities in terms of three distributions. The sample size used in this study was 50 responses for the distribution of the ability of each group (normal, positive skewness, and negative skewness). Replication was carried out in 50 for each ability group using the help of Wingen3. The indicator used to evaluate the results of the equation is the Root mean squared error. The results showed that groups with the same ability skewness distribution (normal ability distribution - normal ability distribution, positive skewness ability distribution - positive skewness ability distribution, and negative skewness ability distribution - negative skewness ability distribution) would give a lower RMSE score than groups with different ability distributions. A low RMSE value indicates that the error of the measurement results is low

Abstract

Science and religion are inseparable sciences on the grounds that they are closely related, with the proposition that all knowledge cannot be separated from the sources of Islamic law, especially the Qur'an and Hadith. However, some scientists argue that science and religion are two different things. This study aims to provide an overview of Ian G Barbour's views on science and religion. This research has an object of study related to the relationship between religion and science, especially those related to various forms of the relationship between the two, both obtained from scientific studies. This research is library research that uses content analysis to examine various information about the things being studied. The results of the study show that science is considered something clear where the truth can be proven by reason, while religion is considered something theoretical. One of the researchers who emphasize the relationship between science and religion is Ian G. Barbour. In this conversation, Barbour observes that the relationship between science and religion is separated into four methodologies: struggle, autonomy, discourse, and combination. science and religion are types of knowledge that people have: common sense, myths, belief systems, and works. From one point of view, the unequivocal value of truth turns out to be definite and immediate, and eternal in view of the fact that it comes from something that is certain and never dies, namely the creator or god.

Abstract

This study aims to develop domino card learning media to improve higher order thinking skills in fractional material. This study uses an R&D approach to produce learning media products. The subjects in this study consisted of 4th grade students at SDN Ciandur 2 for the 2020-2021 academic year, grade 4 teachers at SDN Ciandur 2 and experts or practitioners, while the object in this study was the domino card media which is the development of domino media. This research design uses a 4D development model developed by Thiagrajan which consists of four stages, including define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results showed that the mastery of learning obtained results that the domino card media users had a positive influence on student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the students' learning mastery who reached a percentage of 87%. Thus the development of domino card media can be said to be effective for use in class IV fraction material at SDN Ciandur 2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai konsep dari pembelajaran remedial dalam kaitannya dengan tes diagnostik. Penelitian ini penelitian studi kepustakaan yang membahas secara mendalam tentang pembelajaran remedial dan tes diagnostik. Berbagai referensi yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran remedial dan tes diagnostik mulai dari buku, artikel penelitian, hingga pendapat pakar tentang hal tersebut menjadi sumber referensi dari penelitian ini. Pemahaman tentang pembelajaran remedial dan tes diagnostik yang belum secara menyeluruh dimengerti menjadi dasar peneliti untuk membahas hal tersebut agar para tenaga pendidikan dapat melaksanakan proses pembelajaran secara maksimal. Hasil kajian yang telah dilakukan tentang pembelajaran remedial dan tes dignostik adalah konsep dan pemberian pembelajaran remedial tidak dilakukan begitu saja. Perlu adanya dukungan dari tes diagnostik untuk mengetahui hal apa saja yang perlu untuk diberikan selama pembelajaran remedial dilakukan. Dengan demikian pemahaman peserta didik tentang materi yang diberikan akan dapat dipahami secara baik. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi seluruh tenaga pendidik untuk dapat memahamkan seluruh materi ajar kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the siri' culture is the philosophy of life for the Bugis people in living their lives. In addition, in this study, the siri' attitude will be reviewed from the point of view of contemporary Islamic values. This research is a qualitative research with a literature study approach. Various references related to siri' culture and Islamic values ​​about that culture to how the implementation of siri' culture is currently used as material for this research study. The results showed that there was a correlation between the Bugis people's philosophy of life in the siri' culture and Islamic values. The relationship lies in a condition where a person must always place themselves according to their nature. Always instill in yourself the nature of siri 'so that the pattern of life can run as well as possible. In Islam, cities are commanded to always obey Allah's commands and stay away from His prohibitions. If someone has siri' nature, then that person will always behave in accordance with the corridors of applicable laws and norms. However, currently the siri' culture has experienced a shift in meaning. Various behaviors that were once very hard to do, are now considered normal and even become something to be proud of. Therefore, we should return the dignity of the siri culture as it should be.
