Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in the automotive sector. Problems faced by companies today is the engine damage that often occurs during the production process therefore delaying the production process. Maintenance activities by the company is corrective maintenance, but there are preventive maintenance treatments which include cleaning and lubrication of machines carried out during holidays. Through already collected data it can be proposed for the company to have preventive maintenance with replacement and inspection engine components. Therefore, it is also necessary to take maintenance scheduling into the account of production scheduling. The focus of this research is the optimization of production scheduling in consideration with maintenance scheduling using makespan minimization criterias. The comparison of production scheduling that takes into account maintenance scheduling and maintenance scheduling with merging adjacent inspection and replacement timing is a difference of 0599% in January 2010, 0038% in May 2010 and 0221% in June 2010.

Abstract

PT. X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang coating dan vacuum metalizing. Sistem penilaian prestasi kerja yang dilakukan oleh PT. X berdasarkan pada absensi. Sistem penilaian saat ini menimbulkan ketidakpuasan karyawan karena prestasi kerja karyawan tidak termasuk dalam sistem penilaian prestasi kerja. Hal ini berdampak pada pemberian insentif. Penelitian ini akan merancang sistem penilaian kerja karyawan dengan mempertimbangkan faktor -faktor hasil pekerjaan karyawan dan hasil penilaian tersebut akan digunakan untuk menghitung pemberian insentif karyawan. Tahap awal penelitian dilakukan identifikasi kriteria-kriteria dan sub kriteria. Kriteria yang digunakan adalah kriteria berdasarkan kriteria Spencer. Penentuan bobot masing-masing kriteria dan sub kriteria mengunakan kuisioner pembanding berpasangan, kemudian diolah menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Tahap akhir dari penelitian ini melakukan perhitungan insentif karyawan yang berdasarkan besarnya bonus yang disediakan perusahaan. Sistem penilaian prestasi kerja ini dilakukan oleh 4 orang penilai yang dilakukan secara kolektif, dimana penilaian dilakukan pada akhir tahun. Sistem penilaian usulan ini memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibandingkan dengan sistem saat ini yaitu: kriteria yang digunakan sesuai dengan penilaian performansi operator, membantu perusahaan dalam memonitor aktivitas di lantai produksi. Keuntungan untuk operator adalah mengetahui kelebihan dan kelemahan performansinya sehingga untuk menjadi bahan evaluasi serta dapat meningkatkan insentif dengan bekerja lebih baik lagi. Sistem penilaian prestasi kerja usulan ini diharapkan memotivasi karyawan untuk bekerja lebih baik lagi.Kata kunci: Penilaian Prestasi kerja, Spencer,Analytical Hierarchy, Process, Insentif. PT. Rating systems currently generate employee dissatisfaction because employees 'performance is not included in employees' performance appraisal system. This has an impact on the provision of incentives. This study will design the employee appraisal system by considering the factors the employee's job and the assessment results will be used to calculate the employee incentives. The initial phase of research to identify the criteria and sub criteria. The criteria used is based on the criteria of Spencer's criteria. ¬ respective determination of each criteria and sub criteria using paired comparison questionnaire, then processed using the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The final stage of this study do calculations based on the employee incentive bonus provided by the company. Work performance appraisal system is conducted by 4 assessors who carried out collectively, where assessment is carried out at the end of the year. This proposed assessment system has several advantages over current systems, namely: the criteria used in accordance with the assessment of operator performance, helping companies monitor activity on the production floor. The advantage for operators is to know the strengths and weaknesses so as to be a material performance evaluation, and to increase the incentive to work even better. Work performance appraisal system proposal is expected to motivate employees to work better. Key words: Assessment of Achievement of work, Spencer, Analytical Hierarchy, Process, Incentives.

Abstract

The increasingly fierce industry competition causes each company needs strong supply chain activities as part of the company to be able to survive in an environment full of competition. In carrying out supply chain activities, it is certainly inseparable from supply chain risks that can disrupt supply chain activities. In supply chain risk it is important to know the key risks as the risks that trigger the other risks in the supply chain. This study aims to identify the relationship of risk and mitigation to reduce the causes of the risk. The interpretive structural modeling (ISM) approach is applied to solve problems related to risk linkages and produced key risks which are the risks that most influence the occurance of other risks. The key risks obtained are then processed using the house of risk (HOR) approach to determine the priority of risk mitigation actions. ISM result obtained four key risks, namely the risk element of inputting data error when entering the number of goods and spesifications, product spesification errors desired by the customer, frequent changes in customer design requests and revisions to the design drawings. Then the result of the HOR method obtained four recommended priority mitigation actions, namely updating information on a scheduled basis, conducting briefings every day before work, coordinating and reconfirming requests for product spesifications, and implementing more strigent worker selection procedures. The linkage of the causes of risk, the validation of the ISM model statistically and the weighting of the triggered criteria are several aspects that further research is needed.

Abstract

College Students as the input of a university, have different attitudes and learning outcomes from one another. Education as one way to achieve the goal, can be assessed and seen through the performance. The performance is in question is the achievement of a student focusing on college events. The performance of the students in college year not rated academically, but also nonacademic. According to some studies, the performance can be assessed with motivation, organization and soft skills. This study aims to measure the influence of motivation, organization, and soft skills of the students' performance. The focus of this research is a student in the fourthyear college or the student class of 2012, which is considered to have a lot of experience that can be measured in this study. Processing data using Structural Equation Modeling with Amos. The results of this study are, Motivation has an influence on student performance, while the Organization and Soft skills have no effect on student performance.

Abstract

Atma Jaya is one of the universities that try to sustain support facilities by keeping it clean and maintained. One of the Eforts is cooperating with PT. X Indonesia. Based on the preliminary survey conducted on twenty-four active college students of Atma Jaya Catholic University Campus Semanggi, about 75% of respondents stated that although the officers had to work every day, still indicated the presence of impurities or trash. If this condition is not corrected, then this will have an adverse impact both Atma Jaya and PT. X Indonesia. Based on these issues, the purpose of this study is to find performance and the proposed improvements to enhance the performance quality of cleaning service PT. X at Atma Jaya Catholic University. The methods used are QFD, Kano, Refined Kano’s Model and TQM approach. Variables used in this research are based on research Mai in 2010. Based on the results of the study, respondents tend to be satisfied with the service PT. X Indonesia at Atma Jaya Catholic University. Proposed improvements are to conduct a review of the contents of the contract related to the number of officers working at Atma Jaya Catholic University.

Abstract

White Express merupakan perusahaan franchise dari Jepang yang bergerak di bidang jasa Laundry dan Dry Clean. White Express Indonesia, didirikan dengan nama PT. Nugerah Surya Indonesia. White Express memiliki permasalahan pada lama waktu proses pencucian disertai dengan tidak pastinya kedatangan order. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi untuk perbaikan yang ada pada sistem dengan simulasi promodel. Penelitian ini hanya dilakukan pada lantai pencucian kemeja/t-shirt dan sprei/bed cover, serta tidak memperhitungkan biaya fasilitas pembersihan dan biaya operasional. Penelitian dilakukan dengan proses pengambilan data selama dua minggu untuk mengamati kondisi yang terjadi selama sistem berlangsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkann bahwa terdapat waktu menunggu yang cukup lama pada bagian pemilihan pakaian. Hal ini mengakibatkan terjadi nya adanya penumpukan yang terjadi pada lokasi pemilahan. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah kondisi awal yang terjadi pada saat pengamatan dan simulasi memiliki permasalahan yang sama yaitu adanya waktu menunggu pada proses pemilihan pakaian sehingga terjadi penumpukan pada pakaian kotor. Usulan yang diberikan pada penelitian ini berupa penambahan tenaga kerja pada bagian pemilahan pakaian, dengan usulan ini waktu menunggu pada proses pemilahan dapat berkurang sebesar 6.81 menit.

Abstract

PT X Indonesia is Facility services company. The scope one of service from this company is managing parking area. Consumers of these companies come from various circles, such as Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. The management intended to give comfort to motorcycle users. But it is undeniable that the users often feel the deficiency in service provided by the company. Therefore, there needs to analyze important analyze the attributes that have not met expectations of the user. The results of the analysis will be used to provide a solution for PT X Indonesia. in this paper, will use the grey relation analysis method. Grey relation analysis is a weighting method to determine the performance attributes. This method uses a questionnaire to obtain answers from the user. Based on the method selected five attributes that represent the security in the parking area, comfort a canopy (roof guards), and the services at the counter. This paper uses three approach analysis, such as cause analysis, system simulation, and value stream mapping service. The results of this research is an increase in the number of officers watching, installation, CCTV images, the use of a new payment system that is tapping card, use canopy to pedestrian path on the area in the parking lot and an increase in the number of the counter.Keywords: PT. Abstract

PT. X is a company that produces plastic packaging for the pharmaceutical sector and already has regular customers from various pharmaceutical companies throughout Indonesia. However, currently, the maintenance of the Injection Blowing machine at PT X is not optimal, causing downtime to be very high which requires the machine to be turned off first and the expenditure for maintenance costs is relatively high. If this incident occurs continuously, it is necessary to make improvements to overcome these problems by improving the schedule for replacing components. For this reason, the method that can be used is preventive maintenance using a modularity design. The function of modularity design is to combine several components into new modules based on time and cause and effect. The homogeneity of the TTF (Time to Failure), Standard Deviation, and Nearest MTTF (Mean Time to Failure) data is the basis used in calculating time-based modularity designs, while for causality-based modularity designs the FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) approach is used. The purpose of the modularity design itself is to make it easier for the company that will make repairs, so it is not often necessary to stop the production machine while it is working. Furthermore, simulation modeling is carried out using Promodel to see the real conditions and current proposals. Through calculations in terms of costs generated for each method, it would be better if a preventive maintenance system was applied using a time-based modularity design based on the closest MTTF value (<7 days) which resulted in a total maintenance cost of Rp. 717,527,840.PT. X adalah sebuah perusahaan yang memproduksi kemasan plastik untuk bidang farmasi dan sudah memiliki konsumen tetap dari berbagai perusahaan farmasi di seluruh Indonesia. Namun saat ini, perawatan mesin Injection Blowing pada PT X belum optimal sehingga menyebabkan downtime menjadi sangat tinggi yang mengharuskan mesin dimatikan terlebih dahulu dan pengeluaran untuk biaya perawatan yang relatif tinggi. Jika kejadian ini terjadi terus-menerus, maka perlu adanya improvement untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan cara memperbaiki jadwal penggantian komponennya. Metode yang dapat digunakan yaitu preventive maintenance dengan menggunakan modularity design. Fungsi dari modularity design adalah menggabungkan beberapa komponen menjadi modul baru yang didasarkan pada waktu dan sebab-akibat. Homogenitas data TTF (Time to Failure), Standar Deviasi, dan Nilai MTTF (Mean Time to Failure) Terdekat adalah dasar yang digunakan dalam perhitungan modularity design berbasis waktu, sedangkan untuk modularity design berbasis sebab-akibat menggunakan pendekatan FTA (Fault Tree Analysis). Tujuan dari modularity design sendiri adalah untuk memudahkan pihak perusahaan yang akan melakukan perbaikan, sehingga tidak sering untuk memberhentikan mesin produksi disaat sedang bekerja. Selanjutnya dilakukan pemodelan simulasi menggunakan ProModel untuk melihat kondisi nyata dan usulan saat ini. Melalui perhitungan yang dilihat dari segi biaya yang dihasilkan pada setiap metode, akan lebih baik apabila diterapkan sistem perawatan preventive maintenance dengan menggunakan modularity design berbasis waktu berdasarkan nilai MTTF terdekat (<7 hari) yang menghasilkan total biaya perawatan sebesar Rp 717.527.840,00.

Abstract

Performance and productivity production line system are very influenced by facility layout planning. Facilities composition if appropriate with flow of materials between departments, it will sustain the continuity of the system. PT. X engaged in the field of printing. Composition of the current layout facilities on the Plant has not fully optimized well and indeed has a potential possibility to be developed further in the future. This statement is supported from the result of existing MHPS which gives Rp 6.560.374,50 for total cost of material handling and 136329 metres for total distance. As for the purposes of this research are: evaluating the performance of current facility layout, designing the layout of the facility with qualitative and quantitative methods, comparing the current with proposed improvement layouts, as well as create a picture the new layout facility. The process of designing proposed layouts is done by using qualitative methods (CORELAP, BLOCPLAN & CRAFT) and quantitative methods (ABSMODEL & CRAFT) that both of the algorithms need same inputs, which are: current facility layout and the flow of material. Based from the results of calculation proposed layouts, show that layout from qualitative methods (CORELAP) gives maximal reduction to the total cost of material handling so that the amounts will be decreased to Rp 6.100.133,55 (reducing 7,02% from total cost of current layout), and 117264 metres for total distance (reducing 13,985%.).
