Abstract

Poverty and unemployment problems are some of the problems in several Asian countries, especially in Indonesia. The Indonesian government and private institutions have made various efforts to overcome the problems through various empowerment programs. However, the results have not been optimal in reducing poverty and unemployment, especially in archipelagic areas that are geographically difficult to reach. This research aimed to describe the conceptual model of social entrepreneurship in the Indonesian archipelagic communities. The method used was qualitative and the data were collected using interviews and observation. The empirical findings showed that there were several components in developing social entrepreneurship, namely human and natural resource potentials, a motivator, mutual cooperation values, and community partners. In conclusion, social entrepreneurship could empower the archipelagic communities through social values built on community participation through a group approach by developing local potentials, motivation, and mutual cooperation values. Abstract

Many parents and communities are sending children with special needs to the regular schools of inclusive education providers rather than SLB. This study aims to obtain information about the curriculum in the implementation of learning to manage emotions and behavior for elementary school students Special School (SLB) section G (have more than one special needs) Rawinala East Jakarta. This research uses a descriptive method. The focus of this study is the implementation of learning to manage emotions and behavior in students aged 7 to 12 years in SLB G Rawinala. Research contexts include curriculum currently used by SLB G Rawinala, the existence of learning to manage emotions and behavior for learners ages 7 to 12 years, learning objectives, methods used, materials taught, learning media. The results show that learning to manage emotions and behaviors are integrated into classroom learning, the goal is that learners can control themselves when their emotions explode. The learning method is individual. The material in teaching is dependent on the needs and conditions of the learners. Learning media used are objects that can be touched by them and not dangerous. Evaluation of learning using instruments developed by International Perkins Institutions.: SLB G, curriculum, learning to manage emotions and behavior.

Abstract

Abstract::The research has been conducted to evaluate the suitability of the entrepreneurship education program through the Teaching Factory at SMK SMTI Bandar Lampung, including the planning, implementation and outcome stages. This research uses a qualitative method with a Stake Evaluation approach (Antecedents, Transactions and Outcomes). The main subjects of this research consisted of Headmaster, Entrepreneurship Teachers, Supervisors of Teaching Factory, Industrial Partners, Customers of Products, Students and the Communities. The data were collected using interview methods, observation, and documentation. Our finding indicates that the implementation of entrepreneurship education programs through the teaching factory is went quite decent. This could be seen by the results of the evaluation showing that the Antecedent (preparation) aspect is in the inappropriate category, whereas the Transaction (implementation) and the Outcomes aspect are in the appropriate category. Furthermore, improving the quality of the program could be done by improving the inappropriate category aspects for each evaluation stage. Abstract

This study aims to contribute to the development of education management and enrich conceptual studies related to create quality education through increase for teacher loyalty and discover loyalty factor there is empowerment and trust This research is a quantitative research with survey method and uses path analysis. The population in this study were teachers in the state high school in Depok. The data obtained from the questionnaire given to 100 teachers is about impact of loyalty, empowerment and teacher trust with their school. From the data calculated and analyse there are three research result; empowerment of teacher has a positive effect on teacher loyalty, then the trust of teacher has a positive effect on teacher loyalty, and the last is empowering teachers to have a positive effect on teacher's trust.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the real condition of functioning learning achievement of the literacy of the learning community members in Sukamakmur Sub-district, Bogor District. The research based on qualitative approach was conducted as from April through September 2013 in Sukaresmi village and Sukadamai village. The data were collected by observation, interview, and field note taking. The data were analyzed by structuring, clarifying. The findings show, the ability of learning community members in Functional Literacy program in Sukaresmi and Sukadamai just reach at the level of skills and basic competence. The research recommends to accelerate to independent literacy as the important basic to improve the quality of their life.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship of ISO 9001:2000 implementation with the learning organization and the staff performance in an institution. This study is conducted in P2PNFI Region I Jayagiri and P2PNFI Region II Semarang. The design of development strategies on this research are: (1) conducting the beginning study; (2) creating research instruments; (3) testing instruments; (4) analyzing the validity and reliability instruments; (5) distributing questioners to 94 respondents at P2PNFI Regional I Jayagiri and 84 respondents at P2PNFI Regional II Semarang; (6) collecting questioners; (7) data input and processing; (8) conducting data analyzing and (9) wrapping up the conclusion. The research reveals that (1) there is an increase of the staff performance; (2) a positive correlation between the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 with the staff performance; (3) a positive relationship between the learning organization with the staff performance and (4) a correlation between the implementation of ISO9001:2000 with the performance of staff at two institutions.

Abstract

The Posyandu has a website to collect data on Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and the Posyandu cadre is tasked with inputting data into the web, but not all cadres can do the task because they do not master information technology (IT).This research method using quasi experiment. Result showed cadre performance on inputing MCH data increase from 3 become 7 document in 15 minute. This article describes a way to overcome the problem of inputting MCH data using an Android-based mobile phone. This article on mentoring practices illustrates how android technology can be used by cadres in inputting data that can be done at any opportunity. The facilitators input MCH data through android not only to make cadres recognize the technology that is close to themselves but also improve their performance in inputting MCH data.

Abstract

Family Income Improvement Efforts of family welfare (UP2K-PKK) program aims to reduce woman poverty by developing family business activities through MSMEs. UP2K-PKK cadres feel they do not have the knowledge and skills to increase community entrepreneurship. This research aims to find the knowledge and skills of fostering community entrepreneurship as the basis for planning the training program to improve knowledge and skills for UP2K-PKK Cadres. The method used in this study is mixed methods research. Determination of training needs had done with Training Needs Analysis. The study respondents were all UP2K-PKK Cadres companion MSMEs in Cipayung East Jakarta.The results concluded that UP2K-PKK Cadres need knowledge related to soft skills, namely techniques to motivate people to join the UP2K program, knowledge related to hard skills, namely; 1) managing finances, 2) Marketing techniques, and 3) techniques for identifying the learning needs of UP2K partners. Amid busyness as a housewife, UP2K-PKK Cadres has the willingness to improve their capacity building. Cadres should have the ability to direct the MSMEs to adapt and increasingly modern marketing ways so as not to be left behind and lose the opportunity to get the market.

Abstract

The family is the first and foremost place of learning for children. Parents must be able to adjust and challenges to educate their childern to faced life in the future. Implemented education by parents builds children's readiness to adapt and learn new things, also have an impact on overall children's intelligence and emotional development. This study aims to obtain information about the types of parenting learning needs that are suitable for parents who have children’s, especially those who live along the Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this study are elderly people with a vulnerable age of 17 to 60 years, the number of samples to be studied is 397 people. The results showed that the learning needs of parenting people are ways to overcome the problem of eating in infants, foster independence in children, overcome conflicts between children, teach worship, handle children entering  puberty, how to limit children from gadgets / cellphones, controlling while parents far away (LDR), the most pleasing thing about caregiving is when the child is active, the thing that most parents worry about is health problems and fall into negative society.
