Abstract

The Islamic values in the integrated curriculum should be reflected in governance, teaching lifestyle, and society dedication. The Islamic basic mentoring activity was the routine activity in UIN SUSKA Riau. That activity had been going on since 2010 and had unoptimization through stakeholder dissatisfaction with performance output. This research has developed a model by Result based for monitoring and evaluating the activity implementation. The results of the modeling mechanism were implemented in the construction of a Result Based Management Information System prototype. This research conducted by 7 constructs with 32 indicators that had been statistically tested by Confirmatory Factor Analysis to know the significance and the relation between indicators and constructs. This model was tested descriptive statistic to measure the activity implementation performance in accordance with the expected output. The results of performance activity at the Faculty of Science Technology were at the middle level. The construction of a prototype using Object Oriented Analysis had been successfully carried out with very good results in testing the UAT and Black Box. The system had 6 actors based on the stakeholder requirements and the system was successfully monitoring and evaluating problem and activity as long as the implementation. Performance information in graphically was to help the leader and top management for making decision and policy fixing. The discussion forum was developed as sharing information platform between the leader, the manager and the lecturer, the fellow lecturer, the lecturer and the participants. Thus, the transformation and transparency in implementation activity were formed.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe rapidly developing digital media has currently been forcing every individual to become a digital citizen. Not exceptionally, students who are at the stage of adolescent development are considered active digital citizens. Research has shown that male students access social media more often than female students. However, it remained unknown how both male and female students in Indonesia develop digital citizenship. This study aims to explore differences in the ability of digital citizenship in two State Islamic High School’s (MAN) students in terms of gender. The study used a mixed method approach sampling 394 students from two madrasah in Bandung. In the quantitative phase, a survey questionnaire was distributed to the sampled students from which six groups of students were selected to participate in the qualitative phase. An FGD was conducted with each of the six groups to understand further their ability in digital citizenship.  The results showed female students’ ability in digital citizenship is higher than male. Both male and female students are strong in the aspect of digital security; but they are weak in digital wellbeing and digital civic engagement respectively. This study hopefully contributes to the curriculum development in MAN by taking into account the differences in order to create more effective digital citizens. Keyword: digital citizenship, male, female

Abstract

Saat ini sistem pengenalan wajah sudah banyak dikembangkan, tetapi belum diketahui akurasi dari metode local binary pattern histogram (LBPH) dan eigenface untuk mengenali tiga wajah sekaligus secara real-time. Penelitian untuk mengenali lebih dari satu wajah ini penting dilakukan karena jika diterapkan pada kehidupan sehari-hari akan lebih efektif untuk digunakan, contohnya jika diterapkan pada sistem pencarian orangyang diharuskan untuk mengenali lebih dari satu wajah sekaligus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui metode mana yang lebih baik antara metode LBPH dan metode eigenface dalam mengenali tiga wajah sekaligus secara real-time. Kemudian untuk mengetahui besarnya false acceptance rate (tingkat kesalahan dalam mengenali wajah) dan false rejection rate (tingkat kesalahan dalam menolak/tidak mengenali wajah) dari kedua metode itu. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa metode LBPH lebih baik dalam mengenali tiga wajah sekaligus secara real-time dibandingkan dengan metode eigenface karena tingkat akurasi pada metode LBPH tidak dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan pencahayaan yang didapat antara citra test dan citra input sedangkan tingkat akurasi pada metode Eigenface akan dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan pencahayaan yang didapat antara citra test dan citra input. False rejection rate dan False acceptance rate pada metode LBPH lebih rendah dibanding dengan metode eigenface, yang berarti semakin kecil False rejection rate dan False acceptance rate maka akan semakin besar tingkat akurasi pengenalan wajahnya. Rata-rata akurasi tertinggi pada metode LBPH adalah sebesar 100%, untuk metode Eigenface rata-rata akurasi tertinggi adalah sebesar 72.50%.

Abstract

Background subtraction has various of methods including mixture of gaussian 2 and k-nearest neighbor. Some vehicle speed detection system in previous research have different accuracy in detecting speed of vehicle. The different of accuracy arose the idea to compare the accuracy in detecting the speed of vehicles using the mixture of gaussian 2 with k-nearest neighbor supplied by OpenCV 3.0 library. During this research, four video has been recorded with scenario ofvehicle speed 20 km/h, 40 km h, 50 km/h and 60 km/h. Each video has different vehicle’s speed. The program was designed and built using mixture of 2 gaussian and k-nearest neighbor. Vehicle speed parameter retrieval conducted by 10 tests of four videos,which are 20km.avi, 40km.avi, 50km.avi and 60km.avi.The speed detected at each videois compared with the actual speed to obtain such further information as percentage of error accuracy of the two methods. From the test results, it is obtained that percentage error of mixture of gaussian 2 method is 0,36%-23,73%of the actual speed. The percentage error of k-nearest neighbor method is 64.2%-58,85% of the actual speed.

Abstract

The trend of online shopping increases the use of delivery services. However, packages ordered online are often delivered when the customer is away from home, so the package is usually placed outside and unattended, which is not secure. Therefore, a safe place is needed to secure the package before received by the owner. Based on the problem, this study designed a Smart Packages Box based on the Internet of Things using the Telegram Bot, Wemos D1 R32 that connects the system with Telegram, Barcode Scanner GM66 to scan the barcode on the shipping label, Solenoid Door Lock, and ESP 32 Cam to monitor the condition of the package. Based on the Smart Packages Box test, the door lock can be opened if the barcode on the shipping label matches the receipt number that the owner has registered. The owner will get a notification status if the package has arrived through Telegram Bot. The barcode scan's response time test by courier was 3.20 to 4.50 seconds with a distance of 5 cm to 40 cm until the door locks open and locks again in 5 seconds. Based on the tests carried out there is a graph that illustrates a decrease at a distance of 50 cm which is caused by the distance being too far.The receipt number can be registered by writing "Daftar 1" on the Telegram bot with a limit of 10 receipts, and the owner can check the information status by writing "Cek" on the Telegram Bot. Hopefully, Smart Packages Box can improve the safety of packages even though it has not been received directly by the owner.
