Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan a) apakah ada hubungan antara perilaku motivasi siswa terhadap hasil pemahaman membaca mereka dan b) apa jenis perilaku motivasi yang paling mempengaruhi terhadap hasil pemahaman membaca siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Sasaran penelitian ini sebanyak 26 siswa kelas dua SMAN 1 Pringsewu. Tes kuesioner dan membaca digunakan sebagai alat untuk pengambilan data. Analisis data menggunakan program statistik untuk ilmu sosial (SPSS) versi 16.0. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku motivasi siswa terhadap hasil pemahaman membaca siswa dan attention merupakan jenis perilaku motivasi siswa yang paling mempengaruhi terhadap hasil pemahaman membaca siswa. Dapat disarankan bahwa perilaku motivasi berperan penting didalam pemahaman membaca siswa.The aims of this study were to find out a) the correlation between students motivational behavior and their reading comprehension and b) what kind of motivational behavior mostly influences students reading comprehension. This research was quantitative research. The subjects of this research were 26 second grade students of SMAN 1 Pringsewu. The Questionnaire and reading tests were administrated as the instrument. The data were analyzed by using statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 16.0. The result showed that there was a significant correlation between the students, motivational behavior and their reading comprehension with the significant level 0.000.05. Attention, as a part of motivational behavior, provides the most contribution to students reading comprehension. This suggests that motivational behavior plays an important role in reading comprehension.Keywords: correlation, motivational behavior, reading comprehension

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui i) keinginan siswa untuk berkomunikasi dan ii) hubungan antara kepercayaan akan kompetensi diri, kekhawatiran dalam berkomunikasi, motivasi, dan keinginan untuk berkomunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu 224 siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 9 Bandar Lampung. Kuesioner self-report digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai komunikasi dan motivasi para siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki tingkat keinginan untuk berkomunikasi yang tidak terlalu rendah atau tinggi. Selain itu, terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara variabel kepercayaan akan kompetensi diri, kekhawatiran dalam berkomunikasi, dan keinginan untuk berkomunikasi, kecuali motivasi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi para siswa percaya terhadap kompetensi dirinya, semakin rendah kekhawatiran yang mereka alami.The aims of this study were to explore i) the students willingness to communicate and ii) the correlation among self-perceived communication competence, communication apprehension, motivation, and willingness to communicate. The research used quantitative method. The subjects were 224 second year science class students of SMAN 9 Bandar Lampung. Self-report questionnaires were employed to collect the data of the students communication and motivational orientations. The results showed that the students had moderate willingness to communicate in English. Moreover, there was a statistically significant correlation between self-perceived communication competence, communication apprehension, and willingness to communicate, but motivation. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan: i) hubungan antara strategi membaca kritis siswa dengan keterampilan pemahaman membaca mereka, dan ii) aspek – aspek pemahaman membaca apa yg berhubungan secara signifikan dengan strategi membaca kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa tingkat kedua SMKN 1 Kotabumi, Lampung Utara. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam  penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan tes pemahaman membaca. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik ada hubungan yang signifikan  antara strategi membaca kritis siswa dengan pemahaman membaca mereka. Selain itu, aspek inferensi, menentukan ide pokok, dan mengidentifikasi informasi di dalam teks secara statistik memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan strategi membaca kritis siswa. Ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi membaca kritis memfasilitasi siswa untuk meningkatan kemampuan membaca mereka. The objectives of this research were to find out: i) the correlation between the students’ critical reading strategies and their reading comprehension achievement and ii)  which aspects of reading comprehension significantly correlate with students’ critical reading strategies. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk menyelidiki apakah ada hubungan antara kecemasan pada siswa dan kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis kuantitatif. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah 26siswa tahunpertama diSMAN 1 Kabupaten Tangerang. Tesberbicara dan angket digunakan sebagai alat untuk pengambilan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecemasan siswa dan kemampuan berbicara pada siswa. Dapat disarankan bahwa semakin tinggi kecemasan yang dirasakan siswa, semakin rendah nilai yang mereka dapatkan.The aim of this research was to explore the correlation between students anxiety and speaking ability.This research was quantitative. The subjects of this research were 26students of the firstgrade of SMAN 1 Kabupaten Tangerang. Speaking test and questionnaire were used to collect the data. Person product moment correlation was the data analysis of this research. The result showed that there was statistically significant correlation between students anxiety and speaking ability.This suggests that the more anxious the student feels, the lower speaking score she or he get.Keywords:anxiety, correlation, speaking.
