Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth of the effect of religious counseling towards the religious behavioral adaptation of Indonesian migrant in the Netherlands. The study used a case study of twelve Indonesian Muslim migrants in the Netherlands with male and female sex with a religious counselor taken with purposive sampling techniques. The data collection tool used in this study was by interview and in-depth observation. Data analysis techniques using a model of qualitative data analysis Miles Huberman with data reduction steps, display data and draw conclusions. The result of this study showed that the religious counseling played positive roles in the life of Indonesian Muslim migrants group in the Netherlands. Those roles include community life, relationship with Allah and relationship among Islam people. The findings of this study can be a strategy for the counselor in assisting Muslim migrants in a non-muslim country on the behavioral adaptation

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the level of self-regulated learning (SLR) of students. The research was conducted with a quantitative descriptive method on 300 students at 14 Muhammadiyah Junior High Schools throughout Bantul Regency. The data collection instrument used was a valid and reliable SLR scale, as well as descriptive statistical data analysis with percentages and standard deviation. The results of the study concluded that SRL identification in SMP Muhammadiyah students with high criteria. But even though it has high criteria overall, one school has low criteria because it has access, human resources, and locations that are less relevant to support education. The unequal learning attitudes of students are influenced by human resources as role models, parenting styles, and incoming information. to students about the subject matter. This research can be used by counseling teachers in schools as a basis for developing self-development programs for students.

Abstract

Diversity in Indonesia raises the tolerance problem. The research goal to find guidance and counseling services right to develop character tolerance. Research and development approach used in research. Research and development steps include preliminary study, development hypothetical group guidance model-based folklore, validation of expert judgment and expert practitioners, experimental test form group guidance model-based folklore on a limited basis — descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative in research analysis. The findings show Aspects of peace and mutual respect for students in the low category, during the self-awareness of students in the high category. School counselor role in group guidance services for prevention, development, understanding, and distribution of tolerance character. Tolerance characters appear in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor dimensions with indicators of peace, respect for differences and individuals, and awareness. Group guidance model-based folklore methods is the right solution for the internalization of character tolerance trough limited test with indicate that there was a significant change in tolerance level after the experimental analysis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the use of the photovoice methodology to understand students' positive emotion related to their daily activities. Photovoice is an innovative method of participatory action research that enables individuals and communities to use photography and writing to solve various problems. This study included a qualitative analysis of 42 photovoice papers prepared by 15 Guidance and Counseling students The images and thematic analysis reveal the following main themes: religion, learning activities and places and leisure. This study provides evidence that photovoice is a promising method for understanding positive psychological variables of undergraduate  students as a tool for personal empowerment and transformation.

Abstract

The study aims to test the effectiveness of career guidance program to develop vocational identity of students. The study uses a quantitative approach with quasi experimental methods and non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted in SMK Muhammadiyah Imogiri Yogyakarta by taking a research subject that is a class XI student who is determined by random cluster sampling technique. An instrument which is used is the scale of vocational identity and observation guidelines. Results showed empirically career guidance program interventions based theory of Super effective to develop vocational identity of students. This research can be a reference for school counselor in developing vocational identity of students in the school especially those who are in adolescence

Abstract

Karir merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat penting bagi siswa. Hal tersebut tidak lain karena karir merupakan salah satu aspek dalam diri siswa yang harus dipenuhi. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk memperluas dan mendalami berbagai macam hal seputar karir dapat dilakukan dengan mengeksplorasi karir. Oleh karenanya, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk membantu meningkatkan eksplorasi karir siswa dan untuk mengetahui efektif tidaknya layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik permaianan simulasi untuk meningkatkan eksplorasi karir siswa. Pada pelaksanaannya, peningkatan eksplorasi karir tersebut mengacu pada tiga indikator yang ada pada eksplorasi karir, diantaranya; informasi, perencanaan dan membuat keputusan.  Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan pretest-posttest control gorup design. Lebih jauh lagi, pada penlitian ini sampel dipilih secara acak tanpa mempertimbangkan hal-hal tertentu (simple random sampling). Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 16 santriwati kelas XII C SMA Trensains Muhammadiyah Sragen, dengan ketentuan 8 santriwati sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 8 santriwati lainnya sebagai kelompok kontrol. Melalui penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan menggunakan uji independent sampel t-test, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) adalah 0,100 > 0,05 yang artinya layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik permainan simulasi tidak efektif untuk meningkatkan eksplorasi karir siswa.

Abstract

Kompetensi konselor sekolah untuk menemukan pengetahuan baru dalam bimbingan dan konseling disebut kemampuan penelitian. Seorang konselor sekolah di Indonesia sangat paham akan kompetensinya melakukan penelitian. Faktanya, konselor sekolah meneliti tanpa merancang proposal karena memenuhi akreditasi sekolah. Pelatihan konselor sekolah membuat proposal penelitian merupakan salah satu caranya. Metode tersebut menggunakan pemberian informasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan brainstorming dalam merancang proposal penelitian. Proses pengabdian masyarakat melalui kegiatan pelatihan agar guru BK memiliki kemampuan merancang latar belakang, identifikasi masalah, batasan masalah, rumusan masalah, tujuan penelitian, manfaat penelitian, kajian pustaka, kerangka berpikir, dan metode penelitian tindakan di bidangnya. bimbingan dan konseling. Proses mengembangkan metode penelitian dengan menentukan subjek penelitian, menyusun instrumen penelitian, dan pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan validitas, reliabilitas, dan analisis data. Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dapat menggunakan kutipan yang benar dan menyusun bibliografi dengan aplikasi Zotero dengan google scholar. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdapat fenomena yang dapat diciptakan dalam penelitian bimbingan dan konseling serta mengembangkan kemampuan guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam menyusun penelitian tindakan bimbingan dan konseling. Bank proposal penelitian dengan cara online untuk mengumpulkan desain proposal penelitian bimbingan dan konseling. Kata kunci: Penelitian Tindakan, Bimbingan dan Konseling, Pelatihan ABSTRACT School counsellor competencies to find new knowledge in guidance and counselling called research ability. A school counsellor in Indonesia understands well about their competence to do research. The fact is that school counsellors research without designing proposals because they meet school accreditation. School counsellors training to create research proposals is one way. The method uses the provision of information, training, mentoring, and brainstorming in designing research proposals. The process community service through training activity so that guidance and counselling teachers have the ability in designed of background, problem identification, problem boundaries, problem formulation, research objectives, research benefits, literature review, thinking framework, and action research methods in the field of guidance and counselling. Process develop research methods by determining research subjects, compiling research instruments, and knowledge related to validity, reliability, and data analysis. Guidance and counselling teachers can use correct citations and compile a bibliography with the Zotero application with google scholar. The result of community service the activity is that there are phenomena that can be created in guidance and counselling research and develop guidance and counselling teacher ability in drafting action research guidance and counselling. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop career guidance services through the Dart Board media about career exploration that can be used by guidance and counseling teachers as a medium in providing services. The type of research used in this research is research and development (RnD) using the Borg and Gall development model to the 5th stage, namely design revision by conducting validation tests with material experts, media experts, and guidance and counseling service experts. The data analysis technique used was simple descriptive statistics. The results obtained from the validation test of the development of career guidance services through the dart board media regarding career exploration are the material validation test getting a score of 83.3 in the very good category, the media validation test getting a score of 85 in the very good category, and the validation test for guidance and counseling services getting score 95 with very good category. Therefore, based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and guidance and counseling service experts, the media dart board on career exploration for students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Bambanglipuro is declared feasible to use. The results of the study can be used as a BK teacher as an alternative media in providing career guidance services about understanding career exploration for students.

Abstract

Studi bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan status identitas vokasional mahasiswa. Studi menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Studi dilaksanakan pada 90 mahasiswa Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Ahmad Dahlan yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Instumen yang digunakan adalah skala identitas vokasional yang kemudian akan dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa prodi BK FKIP UAD semester 2  memiliki status identitas vokasional achievement sebanyak 27%, moratorium 19%, foreclosure 3%, dan 51% mahasiswa berada pada status diffusion. Hasil studi dapat dijadikan studi pendahuluan dalam mengembangkan identitas vokasional mahasiswa melalui model bimbingan dan konseling karir yang khusus dalam mengembangkan identitas vokasional mahasiswa
