Abstract

Family is an important factor in the development of self-confidence, academic and student life success. Some literature has shown that family background, including socioeconomic status, parental involvement, and expectations of parents, influenced the development of students' learning and career development (Weiser and Riggio, 2010). Therefore, based on the above school counselors need to consider to improve interaction and collaboration with parents and trying to develop a positive perception of the students in terms of the students' success. Collaboration is an activity where there is cooperation between the various parties in realizing the goal of education, both parties from both inside and outside the institution. Collaboration in guidance and counseling is the cooperation activities between BK teacher / counselor with a number of parties in order to achieve the purpose of guidance and counseling programs, therefore, need their good collaboration strategy between counselor and parents, especially in terms of developing successful students study

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskrisikan dan manganalisis pelaksanaan evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling, (2) mendiskripsikan model evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling, dan (3) mengembangkan model evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif yang layak digunakan. Desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D) diaplikasikan dengan langkah penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) tahap studi pendahuluan, (2) tahap pengembangan, (3) tahap validasi. Hasil penelitian studi pendahuluan mencakup: (1) evaluasi program masih berfokus pada pelaksanaan layanan BK, (2) model yang digunakan di SMP Negeri 1 Sleman yatu evaluasi pelaksanaan meliputi laiseg, laijapen, dan laijapan, serta (3) model evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif terdiri dari  yaitu (a) misi, (b) elemen, (c) analisa, (d) dukungan pihak sekolah, (e) hasil, (f) mendidik. Hasil uji pakar terhadap Model Evaluasi Program Bimbingan Konseling Komprehensif bahwa model dalam kategori baik, sedangkan hasil validasi praktisi juga menempatkan model ini dalam kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka Model Evaluasi Program Bimbingan Konseling Komprehensif yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini layak untuk diimplementasikan di SMP Negeri 1 Sleman.   This study was intended to (1) describe and analyze the implementation of guidance and counseling program evaluation, (2) describe the model of program evaluation of guidance and counseling, and (3) develop the model of evaluation of comprehensive guidance and counseling program. The Research and Development (R&D) methods was implemented in three steps as follows: (1) a preliminary study, (2) developing the evaluation model, (3) validating the evaluation model. The results of preliminary study showed that: (1) the program evaluation was still focus on the implementation of guidance and counseling services, (2) the evaluation model which was used in SMP N 1 Sleman consisted of, immediate, short and long term program evaluation, and (3) comprehensive evaluation model was consisted of (a) mission (b) element (c) analysis (d) stakeholders (e) result and (f) educate. The results of expert and practitioner validation showed that the evaluation model which was developed at present study was classified at good level. Those finding indicated that the model of evaluation of comprehensive guidance and counseling program is appropriated to be implemented at SMP N 1 Sleman.

Abstract

Career Planning for Students with Physical Disabilities is crucial to be prepared. A good career planning picture must contain four aspects of career planning which consist of seeking information, understanding, making decisions, and career achievement. The purpose of this study was to explore in-depth career planning in students of the Special School for Physical Disabilities (SLB) 1 Yogyakarta. This study used a qualitative approach, with the type of case study research, the subjects in this study were two students with physical disabilities, the first subject had moderate cerebral palsy and the second subject experienced abnormalities in the muscle system and skin groups. (musculus skeletal system) spina bifida. Then the secondary sources are teachers and parents. The data collection technique used triangulation in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the career planning of the two early TA and DI students had differences. TA has not been able to do career planning. Because in the search for information, understanding, decision making, and career skills, TA cannot do it. Meanwhile, DI is capable of career planning because DI can find career information, even though DI is still a little doubtful due to lack of confidence, DI career decision making can be even though it is still not effective in managing free time. DI career skills are said to be capable, even though DI does not attend any additional education (courses).

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to develop a training module using problem solving techniques on study time management for class VII students at SMP Negeri 4 Sewon. The type of research used in this research is Research and Development (RnD) using a 4D model (Define, Design, Development and Dissemination). Based on the results of interviews that have been conducted by researcher, it can be seen that there are still many students who find the difficult to do assignments, students are not aware of the importance of learning and lack of awareness of students to do assignments. Thus, to assist students in learning time management, one of them is by using a training module. This research produces a product in the form of a training module on learning time management. The result of the material expert test obtained a score of 89.58 in the very good category, the media expert test obtained a score of 85 in the very good category and the expert test on guidance and counseling services obtained a score of 77 very good categories. Thus, the training module on study time management for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Sewon is feasible to use. Keywords: learning time management, students, training module AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pelatihan dengan menggunakan teknik problem solving tentang manajemen waktu belajar untuk siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 4 Sewon. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Development and Dissesmination). Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang telah dilakukan peneliti, dapat diketahui bahwa masih banyak siswa yang merasa kesulitan untuk mengerjakan tugas, siswa belum sadar akan pentingnya belajar dan kurangnya kesadaran siswa untuk mengerjakan tugas. Dengan demikian, untuk membantu siswa dalam manajemen waktu belajar salah satunya dengan menggunakan modul pelatihan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa modul pelatihan tentang manajemen waktu belajar. Hasil uji ahli materi diperoleh skor 89,58 kategori sangat baik, uji ahli media diperoleh skor 85 kategori sangat baik dan uji ahli layanan bimbingan dan konseling diperoleh skor 77 kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, modul pelatihan tentang manajemen waktu belajar untuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Sewon layak untuk digunakan.  Kata kunci: manajemen waktu pembelajaran, siswa, modul pelatihan

Abstract

This study aims to reduce cheating behavior in students by using Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy group counseling. This research is a pre-experimental design research, namely One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The subjects of this study were ten third semester students of the Guidance and Counseling study program at Ahmad Dahlan University, ten students were taken using purpsoive sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is the cheating behavior scale. Analysis of the data used in this study by using the effectiveness test with the t-test formula. The results of the study showed that group counseling with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach was proven effective in reducing cheating behavior in Guidance and Counseling students at Ahmad Dahlan University. Most of the cheating behavior carried out by students in the category of social passive and cheating behavior in students is mostly based on a lack of confidence in their abilities. The results of this study can be used as an alternative counseling strategy for counselors in universities to reduce cheating behavior in students.

Abstract

AbstrakPermasalahan remaja yang banyak disoroti saat ini menyangkut seks bebas. Sikap remaja terhadap seks bebas sangat beragam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap seks bebas serta bagaimana peran bimbingan dan konseling. Metode penelitian adalah survai. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa SMP di kabupaten Sleman. Jumlah subyek 466 siswa  yang diambil secara random sampling. Hasil penelitian ini, diperoleh data bahwa siswa SMP di Kabupaten Sleman lebih dari 50% responden memiliki sikap yang setuju terhadap seks bebas. Dari aspek biologis, 71% responden tergolong sangat setuju terhadap perilaku seks bebas, 55% tergolong sangat setuju dari aspek psikologis dan 61% sangat setuju dari aspek sosial. Ini berarti bahwa sebagian besar responden yaitu siswa SMP di Kabupaten Sleman memiliki sikap yang kurang baik terhadap perilaku seks bebas. Bimbingan dan konseling bertujuan memfasilitasi siswa dapat berkembang optimal. Bentuk fasilitasi mengembnagkan siswa melalaui empat komponen layanan yaitu layanan dasar, responsif, peminatan perencanaan individual dan dukungan sistem. Strategi layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dapat digunakan dalam mereduksi sikap negatif siswa adalah layanan dasar seperti bimbingann klasikal, bimbingan kelompok dan pengembangan media inovatif. Layanan responsif seperti konseling individu, konseling kelompok dan konseling sebaya. Dukungan sistem dapat berupa parenting class bagi orangtua,  kolaborasi dengan BKKKBN dan Puskesmas tentang bahaya Seks bebas.Kata kunci: strategi layanan, bimbingan, konseling, sikap, seks bebas AbstractThe issue of teenagers that are mostly highlighted today is about free sex. The attitude of adolescents to free sex is very diverse. The purpose of this study was to determine students' attitudes toward sex and the role of guidance and counseling. The research method is survey. Subjects were junior high school students in the district of Sleman. Number of subjects 466 students drawn by random sampling. H acyl this study, data showed that junior high school students in Sleman more than 50% of respondents had an attitude in favor of the free sex. From the biological aspect, 71% of respondents strongly agreed pertained to free sex, 55% classified as very agree on the psychological aspects and 61% strongly agree on the social aspect. This means that most of the respondents are students of junior high school in Sleman have unfavorable attitudes towards sex behavior. Guidance and counseling aimed at facilitating students can develop optimally. Forms of facilitation mengembnagkan students melalaui four service components, namely the basic service, responsiveness, specialization individual planning and support system. Strategic guidance and counseling services that can be used in reducing the negative attitude of students is the basic services such as bimbingann classical, group counseling and the development of innovative media. Responsive services such as individual counseling, group counseling and peer counseling. Support system can be a parenting class for parents, collaboration with BKKKBN and health centers about the dangers of free sex.Keywords: service strategy, guidance, counseling, attitude, free sex

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji coba seberapa efektifitasnya modul berbasis android tentang kesiapan kerja untuk siswa sekolah kejuruan. Metode kajian menggunakan 4-D  (Define, Design, Development and Dissemination). Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan sebanyak 75% siswa masih memiliki tanggungjawab yang rendah akan kesiapan kerja dan 89% siswa masih belum memahami keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil studi pendahuluan yang telah dilaksanakan, maka dirancang modul berbasis android tentang kesiapan kerja. Langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis kebutuhan siswa, mendesain produk, mengembangkan produk dan uji ahli produk. Dalam hal ini peneliti akan menguji kelaikan dari modul berbasis android dilihat dari segi uji ahli materi dan uji ahli media. Peneliti menggunakan metode  untuk menguji kelaikan modul berbasis android ini. Hasil uji ahli materi mendapatkan skor sebesar 81,25% dengan kategori sangat baik dan uji ahli media mendapatkan skor sebesar 84,09% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian, produk berupa modul berbasis android tentang kesiapan kerja laik untuk digunakan dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya, perlu diadakannya uji efektifitas terhadap modul berbasis android tentang kesiapan kerja.The purpose of this study is to test how effective android-based modules are about work readiness for vocational school students. The study method uses 4-D (Define, Design, Development and Dissemination). In the study conducted as many as 75% of students still have a low responsibility for work readiness and 89% of students still do not understand occupational safety and health. Based on the results of preliminary studies that have been conducted, it is designed android-based modules on work readiness. The steps in this study are analyzing students' needs, designing products, developing products and testing product experts. In this case the researchers will test the reliability of the android-based module in terms of material expert tests and media expert tests. Researchers used a method to test the reliability of this android-based module. Material expert test results scored 81.25% with excellent category and media expert test scored 84.09% with excellent category. Thus, the product is an android-based module on the readiness of work is eligible to be use in guidance and counseling services. For further research, it is necessary to hold an effectiveness test of android-based modules on work readiness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis kesehatan reproduksi dalam mengembangkan perilaku seksual sehat remaja. Analisis kebutuhan merujuk pada rambu-rambu penyelenggaraan layanan bimbingan dan konseling pada jalur pendidikan formal. Adapun fokus analisis kebutuhannya, yakni pada kebutuhan lingkungan dan konseli. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan  kualitatif  dan kuantitaif, dalam terminologi creswell disebut dengan metode gabungan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan wawancara. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 277 sampel siswa, 3 pakar bimbingan dan konseling di perguruan tinggi dan 2 praktisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) profil perilaku seksual remaja paling tinggi berada pada waspada menuju perlu pengembangan. Kondisi ini mengindikasikan adanya kebutuhan nyata program layanan bimbingan yang sistematis dan komprehensif; (2) belum ada layanan yang didesain secara khusus, sistematis dan komprehensif untuk mengembangkan perilaku seksual sehat remaja. (3) pengembangan layanan yang direkomendasikan yakni layanan bimbingan kelompok berbasis kesehatan reproduksi. Dua alasan penting yang mendasarinya: pertama, remaja berada pada masa berkelompok, sehingga layanan bimbingan kelompok sangat relevan dengan tugas perkembangannya. Kedua, kesehatan reproduksi menjadi konten layanan yang sangat potensial dalam menumbuhkan pengetahuan secara utuh pada diri remaja.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials for the development of ethics and personality of counselors which will be used by universities that have guidance and counseling study programs. In addition, the mastery of ethics and personality by prospective counselors helps to achieve the 4 basic competencies that counselors must have. The purpose of this development is carried out due to the lack of understanding of the counselor's ethics and personality as a potential counselor. This is evidenced by the results of the scores obtained by the 6th semester students of Ahmad Dahlan University in participating in UA, out of 198 students, 91 students got a C grade. during lecture activities. The development of this counselor textbook on personality and ethics is expected to be able to facilitate prospective counselors in forming a personality and ethics that should be owned by a counselor.
