Abstract

This article discuss about inclusive education concept for children with disabilities. Based on Law No. 4  1997 on persons with disabilities,  This term used to the person who has a mental or physical difficulties and disorder, which may interfere with or be seen as a barrier and a barrier in performing normal activities such as deaf, blind and learning disabilities. Inclusive education is the provision of education system that provides opportunities for all learners who has the disorder and intelligence or special talent to participate in general education (PerMendikNas No. 70 2009). This study attempt to explain inclusive education for the children with disabilities referring to the results previous research. Good understanding in inclusive education is able to educate the children with disabilites effectively.

Abstract

The beginning of 2020 was the year when people recognized a terrible virus which is now known as Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The length of time that Covid-19 attacks the health of even the lives of people in the world cause changes in normal human life patterns. These changes bring an impact on human mental well-being because they have to experience the detrimental effects caused by the virus. This article aims to describe the mental health problems that occurred during the Covid-19 period and ways to maintain mental health during this pandemic. The technique used is library research by collecting several previous articles. Thus, the results obtained indicate that mental health problems that exist in society are panic buying, anxiety, stress, fear, depression, toxic masculinity, drug and alcohol abuse, psychosomatic disorders, etc. Ways to maintain mental health and prevent it from problems include consuming nutritious foods, building good relationships with family and friends, doing meditation to control anxiety, wisely sorting information, asking for professional help, and so on.

Abstract

Nowadays, the Covid-19 pandemic is one of the main health crises for every individual from all nations, all nations, races, and socio-economic groups, the implementation of this lockdown has made very significant changes to the teaching and learning process, one of which is the lecture process as a result of many impacts perceived by the students themselves as less effective. This study aims to describe the problems that occur in students who undergo the learning process bravely during this pandemic. The technique used is a literature review by collecting several existing articles. The results showed that the cause of stress that emerged during the pandemic with a bold learning process was ineffective learning methods, and the conclusions that emerged as a result of the conceptual concept of learning applied in face-to-face learning did not work well.

Abstract

Theurapeutic riding is a physical treatment strategies where the movement of horses used to improve posture, balance and common development of mankind with or without difficulties. North American Riding Association and the American Handicaped Hippotherapy Association defines therapeutic horse riding as the use of movement as a tool by a physical therapist, occupational therapist and speech therapist to deal with disabilities, limited function and the disabled as well as in those with neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunction. Special Education Department Malaysia categorize children with special needs, such as impaired, with visual and learning disabilities that is slow to learn, down syndrome, hyperactivity, dyslexia, autism and cerebal palsy. This paper aims to identify the benefits of therapeutic riding on the development of social skills and emotional skills in children with learning disabilities. This is a qualitative study using in-depth interviews, participant observation and document analysis as tools to get the datas. There were  two theurapeutic riding instructors and a physiotherapist at the Riding for the Disabled Association  Malaysia - Bukit Kiara - Kuala Lumpur as research participant in this study. The results showed that theurapetic riding is very beneficial to the development of emotional, social and physical in children with learning disabilities

Abstract

The world of education is expected to be able to be democratic. Universities as a collection of academic actors who have broad insight and are aware of their different rights must of course be the pioneers of actualizing democratic personality and it is hoped that there will be no discrimination even if only a little. The purpose of this study was to determine the personality of educators at Aceh State Islamic Religious Colleges; and the attitude of students towards the personality of educators at the Aceh State Islamic Religious College. This research is field research, with the type of qualitative research. The subjects of this study were Lecturers and Students at the State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) Aceh consisting of IAIN Lhokseumawe Campus, STAIN Meulaboh, and UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Data collection techniques using closed interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that the Personality Actualization of Educators at Aceh State Islamic Religious Colleges had been actualized well. This is based on the results of interviews with lecturers at three Aceh State Islamic Religious Universities. and Students' Attitudes towards the Personality of Educators at Aceh State Islamic Religious Colleges based on the results of the questionnaire analysis.

Abstract

Menurut data Biro Pusat Statistik (Guci, 2017) disebutkan bahwa Aceh Barat adalah satu kabupaten termiskin di wilayah Provinsi Aceh. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah konflik yang pernah terjadi dan bencana alam gempa bumi dan tsunami 2004. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan Program Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat (KPM) Inovatif Universitas Membangun Desa (UMD) pemberdayaan tanaman enceng gondok di wilayah Aceh Barat dengan segala keunggulan, keterbatasan, dan keunikan pada setiap langkahnya dengan menggunakan wawancara dan observasi langsung sebagai alat pengambilan data. Program KPM Inovatif UMD adalah sebuah program yang dilaksanakan oleh Lembaga Pengabdian Masyarakat UIN Ar Raniry yang bekerja sama dengan KOMPAK Indonesia. Program ini dilaksanakan oleh dosen sebagai supervisor, mahasiswa sebagai peserta, dan LP2M UIN Ar Raniry sebagai panitia pelaksana di tiga desa di Kecamatan Arongan Lambalek, Kabupaten Aceh Barat. KPM Inovatif UMD dilakukan selama enam bulan, yaitu Oktober 2016 hingga Maret 2017 dengan tiga tahapan: tahap penyiapan lembaga, tahap penyiapan sumber daya manusia pengrajin enceng gondok, dan tahap penyiadaan pasar bagi kerajinan enceng gondok. Kegiatan ini telah melahirkan lima kelompok usaha produktif dengan menghasilkan produk kerajinan berbahan dasar enceng gondok. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat sangat antusias dalam mengembangkan produk kerajinan berbahan dasar enceng gondok untuk dapat menyejahterakan kehidupan keluarga, namun masih terkendala dengan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan dan tempat pemasaran yang potensial di kemudian hari. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peran pemerintah dalam melanjutkan program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini.

Abstract

Inclusive Education is education that provides opportunities for students with disabilities to attend public schools. This study aims to look at the extent of the policies contained in the Minister of National Education Regulation No. 70 of 2009 concerning the implementation of inclusive education in Indonesia carried out in Aceh province. Aceh provinces through Aceh Governor’s Regulation number 92 of 2012 concerning the administration of inclusive education require education providers in Aceh to accommodate students with disabilities to study in public schools. The study was conducted on training participants conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Pionir Nusantara Foundation on the Teaching Model for children with disabilities in December 2019. Participants are shadow teachers who work in each District/City implementing inclusive education in Aceh, including: Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar, Bireun, Pidie and Pidie Jaya as many as 25 person. Data collection techniques through Focus Group Discussion on 7 aspects of implementation in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 70 Year 2009, namely: Receiving student with disabilities according to needs and abilities, Availability of at least 1 Inclusive School for each level in each sub-district, Availability of shadow teacher, Support from the government and various parties, Guidance and Supervision, Awards and sanctions. The results showed that the implementation of inclusive education in 5 cities in Aceh was still not running optimally with a variety of challenges both from the government, the community and the school itself. The researcher suggests the need for an inclusive education working group at every level, both provincial and district/city, to provide guidance and supervision on the implementation of inclusive education in each district/city.

Abstract

Individu yang terlahir dengan keterbatasan fisik maupun mental disebut dengan penyandang disabilitas. Kondisi yang diderita oleh penyandang disabilitas fisik menyebabkan mereka sulit untuk beraktivitas. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan rasa kurang percaya diri pada penyandang disabilitas. Salah satu faktor yang berpotensi mempengaruhi kepercayaan diri seseorang adalah dukungan sosial. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Kepercayaan Diri pada Penyandang Disabilitas di SLB Kota Banda Aceh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 49 orang. Adapun karakteristik sampel penelitian ini adalah individu penyandang disabilitas berusia 13 sampai 23 tahun, tidak mengalami retardasi mental, dan sedang menempuh pendidikan sekolah lanjut tingkat pertama luar biasa dan sekolah menengah atas luar biasa. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan Skala Dukungan Sosial yang disusun peneliti berdasarkan teori dari Sarafino (1998) dan Skala Kepercayaan Diri yang disusun peneliti berdasarkan teori dari Fatimah (2006). Abstract

The existence of internet facilities has brought good changes in various aspects with the number of users for Indonesia reaching 132.7 million people, where internet users are dominated by Workers / Employees. The internet provides opportunities for employees to more easily improve performance, interact and create inspiration and creativity. But the internet can also have negative effects such as the occurrence of work procrastination behavior on employees that can interfere with productivity caused by the temptation caused by the internet, as a result of distraction at work through the activity of browsing various sites on the internet, who then reducing cognitive resources to work on their obligations. This study was the beginning or preliminary method using descriptive methods that examine cyberloafing of workers, as a new form of problems in the work environment so that they need to be watched and anticipated in order to increase employee and organizational productivity.
