Abstract

This study describes how the business premises Ambun Suri manage production so much in demand, this study aims to obtain information, analyze and describe data tentangpengelolaan Ambun Suri production embroidery business as workforce planning, tools and raw materials, and production planning.The method used in this study is a qualitative case study method. This research was conducted in the city of Bukittinggi. The type of data in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection was done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction means summarizing key points in accordance with the focus of research, the presentation of the data is done in the form of a brief description, and conclusions mentioned here can answer the problem formulation. To get valid data to perform data validity extended way back spaciousness observation point researchers to obtain additional discovery, increase endurance, triangulation and auditing.Results of research on the management of the production of embroidery, namely: (1) planning workforce consisting of recruitment is done in non-formal, planning work time in a place of business Ambun Suri 5 days a week and remuneration planning tailored to the work or how much finished materials embroidered (2) planning tool starts from planning sewing machine, sewing needle, thread and material used starting from planning its kind and many are used in production. (3) for the planning of production starting from the planning motifs, decorative patterns, embroidery process to distribute it.Kata kunci : Pengelolaan Produksi Bordir Bukittinggi

Abstract

This study originated from the fact that occurred in SMK Negeri 1 IV Angkek Agam District, where many students are not able to make the patterns correctly. This study aims to find out how big the obstacles faced by students in taking body size and pattern making on subjects making patterns with construction techniques.Population and samples in this study were students of class XI dressmaking subjects totaling 24 people. Data collection in this study conducted by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires totaled 50 item. Data analysis technique used is the percentage of technique and performance levels. The results show that constraints on the subjects students create patterns with construction techniques in SMKN 1 Agam District IV Angkek still pretty. This is evident from the level of achievement of the measure gain of 76.77% and 78.84% for pattern making, this means that students still find obstacles in subjects making patterns. Expected results of this study for teachers and students.

Abstract

Problem in this research is a traditional wedding dress in Alam Surambi Sungai Pagu with indicator (1) describe the original form of fashion traditional wedding dress (2) meaning of philosophical  traditional wedding dress in Alam Surambi Sungai Pagu. (3) shape modification of the traditional wedding dress in Alam Surambi Sungai Pagu.   The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Abstract

Gold thread embroidery craft is one of the craft in Saniangbaka villages that have economic value and beauty value which has been handed down and done by women. The purpose of this study was to describe the shape of motifs of gold thread embroidery, materials used for gold thread embroidered, techniques of gold thread embroidery, and types of gold thread embroidery products. This study uses qualitative method. The type of data is primary and secondary data. The technique of collecting data through observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique which uses interactive model analysis that is related with subject matter is data reduction model, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study are: Shape of gold thread embroidery motifs derived from the naturalistic form of plants and animals, such as florals, leaves, twigs, chicken, bird, and geometric such as triangles, rectangles, circles, from then on stylized motifs into decorative ornament. Materials used are velvet, satin, gold embroidery threads, sewing machine thread, and needles for hand embroidery. Gold thread embroidery techniques in Saningbaka villages use pamedangan legged, namely gold thread laid on the surface of the fabric and embroidered motif followed by way of regular sewing thread pinned gold thread, gold thread embroidery characteristic in this Saniangbaka villages its motive is always full with gold threads, is not only the edge of motive, called the Or nu'e techniques. Gold thread embroidery products in Saniangbaka villages produced is for custom fixtures and traditional wedding, while products such as wall hangings, clothing, tablecloths, pillowcases seats, and souvenirs in the form of purses, bags and toys key is a special order from the buyer , is expected to yield gold thread embroidery is to improve the economy and can be preserved.

Abstract

Manufacture bridal sheets relating to human resources and quality control. This study aimend to decribe the human resources and quality control in the linen business in the bridal industry Bulakan Arinda Vilage center district west Payakumbuh Kandi Payakumbuh. Methods used in this research in deskriptive qualitative methods. Types of data in the from of primary and secondary data. Techniques of data collection through observation, interview and documentation, drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: (1) human resources in the industry Arinda come from low economic backgrounds, educational levels from elementary through high shcool, the knowledge and skills that they can sew from sewing, to self development. (2) quality control in industry Arinda has not gone up with the complaints consumer about result that is less neat stitching, becouse the quality control was not optimal, this is due to the tailor sew in their homes each so overall less observed. Abstract

Hand embroidery in Nagari Mungka is inherited from parent to theirdaughters. However, the citizen of Lima Puluh Kota district andsurroundings are not familiar with this. The purpose of this study is todescribe about the types of embroidery, the forms of embroidery design, thetechniques of embroider, and the type of embroidery products. This studyuses qualitative method. The type of data is primary and secondary data.The technique of collecting data through observation, interview anddocumentation. The data analysis technique which uses interactive modelanalysis that is related with subject matter is data reduction model, datapresentation, and conclusion. The results of the study are: first, the handembroidery in Nagari Mungka has six types, there are shadow embroidery,needlepoint arise embroidery, flat embroidery, fantasy embroidery, ribbonembroidery, and attach mute and sequins. Second, the design of this isnatural (plants and animals) and geometric (other objects). There havethirteen of it. There are stalk, leaf, roses, jasmine, hibiscus, sunflower, lotus,taro, tulips, butterflies, Itiak pulang patang, triangle and roda-roda isi.Third, the techniques of embroider in Nagari Mungka has two types. First,tarranging thread decoratively technique. Second, lekapan technique.Finally, the embroidery in Nagari Mungka produces material of bajukurung, materials of dress, mukenah, and veil .

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' motivation to make embroidered tablecloth flat for ornament through direct type of cooperative learning strategies in SMP N 4 Payakumbuh. Motivation student views of the three indicators, namely pleasure seeking and problem solving, passionate and hard-working, persevering in the face of duty. This type of research is a classroom action research consists of the first cycle and second cycle of each cycle of three meetings, one meeting two times 40 minutes. Data collection techniques were observation technique of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results showed that students' motivation on the indicators have been achieved, with the achievement of the targets set is 80%. Thus, Type Direct Cooperative Learning Strategies in the learning process can improve students' motivation, to make flat embroidery to decorate the table.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the implementation process Field Industrial (PLI)Faculty of Engineering, Department of Family Welfare Padang State University. This type ofresearch "quantitative descriptive" that describe, explain and interpret the data as it is. Thepopulation in this study were students of the Faculty of Engineering Department of FamilyWelfare has implemented a PLI ranging from 2008 to the armed forces in 2012 of 60 peopleconsisting of: D3 dressmaking as many as 9 people and S1 PKK concentration dressmakingas many as 51 people. The results of the data analysis showed that the implementation of thePLI students of Department of Family Welfare Faculty of Engineering, UNP, very lowcategory of indicators covering: (1) Stage Pre PLI with a percentage of 4.23%, 2) the stage ofimplementation of PLI with a percentage of 2.94%, (3) Phase Post PLI by 7.2%. From theanalysis of the data is evident that the implementation of the student PLI Programs KKcategorized in groups is very low. Therefore it is recommended to all students of the Facultyof Engineering Department of Family Welfare for the implementation of this Industry Fieldfollowed up again so that execution of Field industry can be categorized as either making theachievement of objectives of the implementation of the PLI. Abstract

This study revealed on the Application of Health and Safety (K3) in dressmaking workshop SMK State 1 Ampek Angkek Agam, terms of three indicators, that is (1) Application of K3 with itself, (2) Application of K3 in using the tools of practice, (3) Application of K3 in the work environment. This research is a qualitative study, in order to examine the condition of the natural objects with the intent of exposing some of the circumstances in which the researcher as the key instrument. Source of data obtained through informants who understand about the workshop are: students, teachers who teach subjects practice, the head of the workshop, head of the study program. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is done by way of extension of participation, persistence observation, triangulation and auditing. The results showed that the application of K3 in dressmaking workshop SMK State 1 Ampek Angkek Agam on each indicator has not been fully implemented at the time of practice.

Abstract

Problems were found in the development of embroidery in District Kuranji designmotifs used are still using pre-existing motifs, due to lack of knowledge of artisans increating the design motif, this makes the product less variable results. The purpose of thisstudy is to describe the design motif embroidery, embroidery techniques and types ofproducts kerajinanbordir. The research method uses descriptive qualitative method. Thetype of data in the form of primary and secondary data. The technique of collecting datathrough observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis is done with tekbiksnow ball sampling by using an interactive model analysis techniques, namely the model ofdata reduction, data presentation, and making conclusions. The results of that study,embroidery motifs contained in the embroidery business in District Naturalists Kuranji isthe motive of plant and animal motifs like motif of leaves, stems, grass, jasmine, roses,orchids, lotus, butterfly. Geometric motifs such as rectangular motifs, from the later in thestylized motifs into a decorative ornament. Decorative embroidery pattern consists of;Sowing pattern, pattern fringes, pattern fills the field and the free pattern. The combinationof colors using a combination of neutral colors, Monocromatis and Complement.Embroidery techniques used there are 5 techniques: embroidery techniques suji liquid, fullsuji, fantasy embroidery, embroidery overlay / kerancang (includes: kerancang seats, chisel,cross, wheels, broom, chaotic, board, wrap, cut, rail, fish eye) and the application ofembroidery techniques. Type of product produced is mukena, materials for clothingapplique, embroidery material for skirts, embroidered materials for the robe and materialsfor kebaya embroidery. Expected results of this embroidery craft products can continue tobe preserved and enhanced ability to compete and market share.Kata kunci: Produk kerajinan bordir di Kecamatan Kuranji.
