Abstract

This research has a purpose to know whether there is influence of the use of learning model Example Non Example assisted Poster Comment to the comprehension ability of mathematical concept. This research type is keyexperimental design, this research population is all students of class VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Al-Hidayah Srikuncoro academic year 2016/2017. In this research, the data analysis used is by using variance analysis (anova) one cell road is not same. The result of this research is that there is influence of learning model of Example Non Example with Poster Comment with the ability of understanding mathematical concepts, which the application of learning model Example Non Example with Poster Comment gives better concept of mathematics concept compared with the application of conventional model supported by Poster Comment and also the application of learning model Example Non Example with Poster Comment provides better mathematical concept capability compared to conventional learning model, and conventional teaching model application provides mathematical concept capability similar to conventional modeled learning application with poster comment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dan menguji efektivitasnya pada keterampilan berpikir reflektif matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa. Tahap pengembangan ini dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, pengujian tahap awal, revisi produk awal, dan pengujian lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas VII.C dan 30 siswa VII.D di SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung Tahun Akademik 2017/2018. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, tes keterampilan berpikir reflektif matematis, dan angket kemandirian belajar siswa. Hasil tes lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dan Pembelajaran Kemandirian siswa menggunakan pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing yang dikembangkan lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematika dan Kemandirian Belajar siswa yang tidak menggunakan pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing yang dikembangkan. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing yang dikembangkan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir reflektif matematis dan Kemandirian Belajar siswa. Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis siswa menggunakan pembelajaran Guided Discovery yang dikembangkan dikategorikan tinggi sedangkan peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa dikategorikan sedang. AbstractThis study aims to develop a model of guided discovery learning and test its effectiveness on mathematical reflective thinking skills and independence learning of student. This stage of development starts from preliminary studies, planning, initial product development, initial stage testing, initial product revision, and field testing. The subjects of this study were 30 students of  class VII.C and 30 students of  VII.D in SMP Negeri 24 Bandar Lampung  2017/2018 Academic Year. The research data was obtained through observation, interviews, tests of mathematical reflective thinking skills, and student Independence Learning questionnaires. The results of field tests show that the ability of mathematical reflective thinking and the Independence Learning of students using developed guided discovery learning is higher than the ability of mathematical reflective thinking and student Independence Learning that does not use developed guided discovery learning. Therefore it can be concluded that developed guided discovery learning is effective for improving mathematical reflective thinking skills and student Independence Learning. The increase in the ability of mathematical reflective thinking of students using developed Guided Discovery learning is categorized as high while the increase in student Independence Learning is categorized as being moderate.

Abstract

The variational homotopy perturbation method is developed by combining variational iteration method and homotopy perturbation method. Variational iteration method has an efficient process in solving a wide variety of equations and systems of equations. Meanwhile, homotopy perturbation method yields a very rapid convergence of the solution series in most cases. The developed method, variational homotopy perturbation method, took full advantage of both methods. In this study, we described an application of the variational homotopy perturbation method to solve systems of homogeneous partial differential equations. Here we consider some initial value problems of homogeneous partial differential equation systems with two and three variables. The results show that the obtained solution using this method was in agreement with the solution using the homotopy analysis method and variational iteration method, which prove the validity of the variational homotopy perturbation method when applied to systems of partial differential equations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Pengembangan LKPD pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau dikenal juga sebagai Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian pengembangan ini bersifat terbatas, tahapan R&D hanya dilakukan hingga langkah 3. Develop preliminary from produk atau mengembangkan desain. Tahapan pengembangan ini dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, penyusunan pengembangan model pembelajaran dan sampai dengan validasi uji ahli dan praktisi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri Pertanian Pembangunan Lampung pada Semester Genap Tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan angket validasi perangkat pembelajaran dan LKPD yang divalidasi oleh ahli pakar materi, pakar media dan praktisi pendidikan. Selanjutnya perangkat pembelajaran dan LKPD direvisi sesuai pendapat para ahli. Perangkat pembelajaran dan LKPD divalidasi oleh 2 pakar ahli media dan materi, 2 praktisi guru dan 5 praktisi siswa. Hasil validasi para ahli diperoleh bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dan LKPD layak digunakan dan diimplementasikan setelah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil skor penilaian validator adalah diatas 85% yang memiliki kriteria valid dan kategori sangat praktis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model Creative Problem Solving berupa buku model dan perangkat pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian pengembangan atau R&D ( reseacrch and development). Namun penelitian dibatasi sampai pada tahap uji ahli, sehingga tahapan pengembangan ini dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, penyusunan pengembangan pembelajaran, validasi ahli. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 2 orang guru dan 2 orang dosen. Instrumen Penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi untuk ahli dan praktisi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) desain model Creative Problem Solving (CPS), (2) perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan topik operasi SPLTV kelas X SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung semester ganjil. Adapun hasil validasi meliputi: skor penilaian desain pengembangan model sebesar 92,5% oleh ahli model dan 95% untuk ahli materi; skor Silabus sebesar 98% untuk ahli materi 1 dan 94% untuk ahli materi 2; skor RPP sebesar 97% untuk ahli materi 1 dan 95% untuk ahli materi 2; Skor LKPD sebesar 91,67% untuk ahli materi 1 dan 94,44% untuk ahli materi 2; Skor Media sebesar 95% untuk ahli media dan 94% untuk ahli materi. Hasil validasi para ahli diperoleh bahwa pengembangan model Creative Problem Solving dan perangkat pembelajaran layak digunakan dan diimplementasikan setelah memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil skor penilaian validator yang memiliki kriteria valid dan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan penilaian para ahli, maka secara teoritis produk pengembangan Model Creative Problem Solving (CPS) dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan Keteramplilan berpikir reflektif siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika denganmetode PQ4R untuk menanamkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. PQ4R adalah metode pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan kegiatan membaca. Kegiatan dalam proses pembelajarannya yaitu preview, question, read, reflect, recite dan review. Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis kemampuan siswa dalam menerjemahkan, menafsirkan, dan menyimpulkan suatu konsep matematika.Sabjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMP Daarul Ma’arif tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang memiliki karakter berpikir menengah ke bawah. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui lembar observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjuka bahwa pengembangan bahan ajara matematika dengan metode PQ4R efektif jika bahasa yang digunakan jelas, dibuat keterangan penjelas pada langkah-langkah penyelesaian pada contoh soal, latihan yang dibuat jangan terlalu banyak dan sebaiknya berbentuk soal cerita. Sebagian besar siswa menyukai bahan ajar matematika ini dan bahan ajar ini dapat menanamkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.

Abstract

Mathematical communication skills have an important role in mathematics because it can help students to express their understanding. This study aims to analyze the students mathematical communication skills using Bruner’s theory in the system of three-variable linear equations material. The type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research was conducted at SMAN 4 Kotabumi with the subjects in this study are 129 students of X grade. The data collection technique used was a written test of mathematical communication skills. The results of this study indicate that students’ mathematical communication skills are still relatively low. Constraints found by researchers that led to students’ low mathematical communication skills are: (1) students have not been able to understand the problem and explanation correctly; (2) students have not been able to do the calculations correctly when associating with system variables equations; (3) students cannot conclude the results correctly.

Abstract

Let G=(V,E) be a connected graph and c be a proper k-coloring of G with color 1,2,...,k. Let {C_1,C_2,...,C_k} be a partition of V(G) which is induced by coloring c. The color code c_Phi(v) of v is the ordered k-tuple (d(v,C_1),d(v,C_2),...,d(v,C_k)) where  d(v,C_i)= min{d(v,x)|x \in C_i}  for any i. If all distinct vertices of G have distinct color codes, then c is called  k-locating coloring of G. Abstract

In a public facility or private office where many people can get together, a fire detection device is a mandatory tool as an emergency alarm in the facility. However, the expense of the installation of the device is a troublesome matter. So, optimization is needed to minimize the number of these devices. The way to implement is to select the appropriate position to place the devices in public facilities. The research discussed the placement of the sensors in multi-story buildings. The multi-story buildings could be represented as cube composition graphs with the number of rooms, and the connectivity between the floor and its rooms was equal. The concept of this multi-story building was modeled into a generalized Petersen graph where a vertex represented a room, and an edge was the connectivity of rooms. The basis obtained on that metric dimension was represented as a sensor placed on the building. Then, the optimization of device placement was seen as determining the metric dimensions of the Petersen graph. In the research, the alternative sensor placements were computed using the graph metric dimension approach implemented in Python. The research successfully implements the metric dimension of  to  using Python code to obtain the alternative of its basis. A basic alternative indicates the location of the device placement like fire detectors, network access points, or other sensors inside a building.
