Abstract

This study aims to determine the profit of boat lift nets fisherman, to determine the competitiveness level of the fishing production, and to determinate the exchange rate of boat lift nets fishing product in the local market.  This study was conducted in September to Oktober 2013 in the Muara Tinobu Village, North Konawe. The method this study was used survey method, and sampling method was purposive sampling, which the number of respondents of this study were 9 fisherman. Based on this research, it is known that the profits of fishermen boat lift nets on a small scale of Rp34.445.007, median scale was Rp44.252.056 and the higher by Rp98.982.998.  Based on the analysis of the competitiveness of the fishing production of boat lift nets in the Muara Tinobu Village have high competitiveness. The exchange rate of the fisherman product of boat lift nets  on a small and median scale is already able to subsistence needs, while the fishermen of boat lift nets  with a higher scale high being able to meet the needs of subsistence, it also has the potential to consume the needs of secondary or tertiary, or to investation.Keyword : Exchange Rate, Competitiveness, Fisherman, Boat Lift, Konawe Utara

Abstract

Nelayan tangkap ikan tuna tidak bisa memproduksi ikan dalam jumlah banyak karena pengumpul dan perusahaan membatasi pembelian ikan tuna dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan nelayan tangkap ikan tuna dan nilai tukar pendapatan nelayan tangkap ikan tuna sebelum dan selama Covid-19 di Desa Holimombo Jaya Kecamatan Pasarwajo Kabupaten Buton. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Holimombo Jaya Kecamatan Pasarwajo Kabupaten Buton pada bulan April 2021 pada saat pandemi Covid-19.  Penentuan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus berjumlah 25 nelayan tangkap ikan tuna. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yakni melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan dan analisis nilai tukar pendapatan nelayan yang terdiri dari nilai tukar faktor produksi dan nilai tukar konsumsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pendapatan nelayan tangkap ikan tuna sebelum Covid-19 sebesar Rp16.046.089/bulan dan selama Covid-19 rata-rata sebesar Rp8.182.809/bulan. Rata-rata nilai tukar faktor produksi nelayan tangkap ikan tuna sebelum pandemi Covid-19 yaitu sebesar 5,742 sedangkan selama pandemi Covid-19  sebesar 3,785. Rata-rata nilai tukar konsumsi nelayan tangkap ikan tuna sebelum pandemi Covid-19 yaitu sebesar 4,949 sedangkan selama pandemi Covid-19 sebesar 2,519. Rata-rata nilai tukar faktor produksi dan nilai tukar konsumsi nelayan tangkap ikan tuna di Desa Holimombo Jaya nilainya >1 yang menunjukkan bahwa nelayan tangkap ikan tuna di Desa Holimombo Jaya baik sebelum dan selama Covid-19 mampu memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi rumah tangganya.Kata Kunci : Tuna, Pendapatan, Nilai Tukar, Covid-19

Abstract

Seaweed cultivation is a source of livelihood for the community which involves the wife in its activities. This study aims to determine the contribution of the wife's income and the wife's time spent working on seaweed cultivation business activities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of this study can describe the profile of the fishermen's wives in the seaweed cultivation business based on age, level of education and business experience. The wife's income from seaweed cultivation activities contributes to family income which is still in the moderate category of 43%, but the family income earned in Wangi-Wangi District, Wakatobi Regency is classified as above the UMR (Regional Minimum Wage) Southeast Sulawesi. The wife's labor time spent working to earn a living in the seaweed cultivation business is an average of 4.42 hours and as much as 20.106 HOK (Working Day) per week in each activity of the seaweed production process per cycle.Keywords: Income Contribution, fisherman’s wife, E. spinosum, E. cottonii

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the fishery business of guiding barrier trap in Rumba-Rumba Village, East Kolono District, South Konawe Regency. The research was carried out in November 2022 at Rumba-Rumba Village, East Kolono District, South Konawe Regency. Observation data were obtained through interviews of 11 fishermen. Data analysis was quantitative and descriptive analysis, costs, revenues and profits. The results showed that the average number of sero fishing trips in Rumba-Rumba Village was 1 (one) trip/day with the species of fish caught consisting of siganids, snapper and trevally. The total cost of sero fishermen were ranged from IDR437,118/month to IDR87,583/month or with an average of IDR560,385/month. Marketing activities for sero fishermen in Rumba-Rumba Village were carried out directly and indirectly. Total revenue from share fishermen was averages of IDR1,168,636/month or around IDR940,000/month to IDR1,430,000/month. Profits of share fishermen average IDR608,251/month or around IDR440,125/month to IDR820,861/month. The conclusion of this study concluded that the shareholding business in Rumba-Rumba Vilage based on business studyes was profitable.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the total costs, total revenues, profits, and productivity of the large size (18×18×15) m3 and small size (13×13×10) m3 of floating lift net in Lamontoli Village, South Bungku District, Morowali Regency. This research was conducted from January to February 2022. The sampling technique was carried out by census on eight fishermen of floating lift net. The data collections in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis were consisted of analysis of total costs, total revenues, profits, and capital productivity. The results of the study showed that the total cost of large floating lift net was IDR 2,843,967/trip and small floating lift net which was IDR 1,751,472/trip. The amount of total revenue for large floating lift net was IDR 10,823,750/trip and the small floating lift net was IDR 7,612,500/trip. The profits for large floating lift net was IDR 8,042,972 and small floating lift net was IDR 5,861,028/trip. The business productivity value of large floating lift net was 3.93 and the business productivity value obtained by small floating lift net was 4,48.
