Abstract

K.H. Maimun Zubair adalah tokoh Islam di Indonesia. Beliau adalah pendiri dan pengasuh pondok pesantren Al Anwar Sarang di Rembang, Jawa Tengah. Beliau memiliki peran ganda, sebagai alim ulama sekaligus sebagai politisi dan penasihat politik. Hal ini dikarenakan beliau berkeinginan untuk menyatukan prinsip Islam dan nasionalisme dalam politik Indonesia. Melihat figur dari K.H. Maimun Zubair tersebut, dapat ditunjukkan bahwa beliau memiliki nilai-nilai karakter yang dapat diteladani oleh generasi muda Indonesia saat ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber data primer pada penelitian ini adalah testimoni, buku biografi K.H. Maimun Zubair, dan pesan yang disampaikan oleh K.H. Maimun Zubair di media massa. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ada dalam diri beliau yaitu religius, toleransi, disiplin, gemar membaca, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, bersahabat/komunikatif, dan peduli sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyampaian nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter oleh K.H. Maimun Zubair adalah melalui penyampaian pesan, ceramah, dan keteladanan.

Abstract

Teacher are not ready to carry out online learning in using online media during the covid-19 pandemic because of the lack competence of teachers. The purpose of this activity is to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in using Google Classroom to support online learning. The Program of Community Service is carried out by holding google classroom training for elementary school teachers through the Zoom aplication. To find out the increase in teacher competence, a pretest and posttest were carried out, followed by a t-test. The test results show that there is a significant difference between the results of the pretest and posttest with Z score of -2.032 and a p value of 0.042 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in the competence of elementary school teachers in using google classroom after being given training. With this training, it is hoped that teachers can carry out learning with the help of Google Classroom so that online learning can be managed and implemented properly.

Abstract

The pandemic situation and digital acceleration have altered ideas on the significance of competence. Various offline restrictions that occur can be utilized to maximize previously acquired competencies. Individuals are responsible for their competency development and must take the initiative to use it. However, this does not preclude the potential that this may occur in response to commands from superiors. This community service aims to provide education on how to maximize competency and the types of activities that may be conducted via the online platform Zoom. A total of 97 workers or employees from various fields participated in the activity. The effectiveness of the activity can be determined by evaluating the activity's participants. According to the evaluation results, 88.2% of the participants thought there was greater insight regarding relevant competencies. The following recommendation for education providers is to investigate offline implementation if situations permit overcoming the restrictions of resource-participant contact.
