Abstract

AbstrakPraktik berbicara kategori monologika dapat dilakukan dengan beragam cara, serta dilakukan dengan mengintegrasi penggunaan media teknologi, informasi, dan komunikasi. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dan penilaian yang dilakukan dalam praktik berbicara monologika. Penelitian dilakukan bersama pelajar dan guru yang mengikuti perkuliahan pengembangan keterampilan berbicara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik berbicara monologika dilakukan dengan melakukan praktik simulasi penyiaran radio dan reportase televisi. Penilaian dilakukan dengan menyusun rubrik penilaian kinerja yang disusun berdasarkan aspek-aspek masing-masing praktik kegitan berbicara.Kata kunci: berbicara, monologika, simulasi pembelajaran. Abstract The practice of talking monologic categories can be done in a variety of ways, and is done by integrating the use of media technologies, information, and communication. Qualitative descriptive research is conducted in order to describe the learning and assessment processes conducted in the practice of speaking monologic. Research is conducted with students and teachers who follow the teaching skills development course.  Data collection is done with observation and interviews. Data analysis is done with three stages: data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the practice of speaking monologic was done by practicing radio broadcasting simulations and television reportage. The assessment was conducted by drafting a performance assessment section based on the aspects of each speech-related practice.Keyword: talking, monologic, education simulation.

Abstract

This study examines the efforts to preserve the Javanese language (BJ) Krama as a living repository of indigenous knowledge. This study focuses on how to preserve BJ Krama for the younger generation of Yogyakarta (GMY), with subproblems (a) a description of GMY's capacity to speak Javanese Krama and (b) preservation efforts for BJ Krama for GMY. Sources of data for this study include ethnic Javanese students in a multilingual speech context (Javanese, Indonesian, English, and other regional languages), particularly those enrolled in the undergraduate program at Sanata Dharma University. This study's data consists of descriptions of questionnaire responses from student respondents. The technique of content analysis was employed to analyze the data. This investigation led to the discovery of techniques for retaining verbal-oral BJ Krama for GMY. There are two distinct discoveries in particular. First, contextually, the situation of GMY as young BJ speakers is that they are still engaged in learning BJ Krama despite facing internal and external barriers. Second, there are at least two projections regarding preservation initiatives, including (a) commencing cooperation with government and private entities and (b) building creative work spaces through various language-based business incubation activities. This essentially indicates that cross-institutional BJ Krama preservation efforts based on enhancing GMY creativity are viable and can be constructed at the level of praxis activities, in accordance with the local wisdom values agreed upon by the speech community group. AbstrakKajian ini mendeskripsikan upaya mempreservasi bahasa Jawa (BJ) Krama sebagai monumen hidup kearifan lokal. Permasalahan utama kajian ini adalah cara mempreservasi BJ Krama verbal-lisan untuk generasi muda Yogyakarta (GMY), dengan submasalah (a) deskripsi kemampuan GMY berbahasa Jawa Krama dan (b) upaya mempreservasi BJ Krama bagi GMY. Sumber data kajian ini adalah mahasiswa-mahasiswi etnis Jawa dalam lingkungan tutur multibahasa (bahasa Jawa, bahasa Indonesia, bahasa Inggris, dan bahasa daerah lain), khususnya pada program sarjana di Universitas Sanata Dharma. Data kajian ini berwujud uraian jawaban angket/kuesioner dari mahasiswa responden. Data dianalisis berdasarkan teknik analisis-isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian ini, secara umum, adalah ditemukan cara-cara mempreservasi BJ Krama verbal-lisan untuk GMY. Secara khusus, terdapat dua temuan spesifik. Pertama, secara kontekstual, kondisi GMY sebagai penutur muda BJ adalah masih berminat menguasai BJ Krama tetapi menghadapi kendala internal dan eksternal. Kedua, berkaitan dengan upaya preservatif, sekurang-kurangnya terdapat dua proyeksi meliputi  (a) inisiasi kerjasama dengan instansi pemerintah maupun swasta dan (b) penciptaan ruang kerja kreatif dengan membuat berbagai kegiatan inkubasi usaha berbasis bahasa. Secara implikasional, dapat dinyatakan bahwa upaya preservasi BJ Krama lintas institusional berbasis optimalisasi kreativitas GMY bersifat prospektif dan dapat direalisasikan dalam tataran kegiatan praksis secara terstruktur sesuai dengan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang disepakati oleh kelompok masyarakat tutur.

Abstract

This study discusses "The Form and Factors Causing Errors in Using the Javanese Language of Manners and Cras for Preserving It". This study uses the theory of language relativity to analyze errors in the use of Javanese. Sources of data are students who are in the working environment of researchers. The data is in the form of Javanese speech manners. Data collection techniques are in the form of questionnaires and structured interviews by means of fishing techniques via e-mail or WhatsApp (WA). Data analysis techniques consist of data identification, data classification, and data interpretation. The results of the study are (1) the form of errors in the use of errors in the use of Javanese manners (various types of words and affixes). The causal factor is because (a) they have not been able to distinguish the vocabulary of Javanese krama from Indonesian, (b) have not been able to distinguish the use of Javanese krama for oneself and for parents or other respected people, (c) the Javanese language mastered is limited to "krama ndesa", (d) adjectives that do not have concrete references are a problem in itself, and (e) many of the Javanese krama affixes used are incomplete, (2) the preservation of the Javanese krama language needs to be carried out so that the Javanese krama language remains sustainable. However, there are still some obstacles faced, namely (a) many parents no longer use BJ krama, (b) the younger generation speaks accustomed to using Javanese ngoko or Indonesian, (c) some Javanese language teachers are not from their fields, (e) many BJ teachers are not creative enough, and (f) the younger generation of Javanese who are not good enough get less motivation from their environment.Penelitian ini membahas “Wujud dan Faktor Penyebab Kesalahan Pemakaian Bahasa Jawa krama dan Cara Mempreservasinya”. Penelitian menggunakan teori relativitas bahasa untuk menganalisis kesalahan pemakaian bahasa Jawa. Sumber data adalah  para mahasiswa yang berada di lingkungan kerja peneliti. Data berupa tuturan bahasa Jawa krama. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dan wawancara terstruktur dengan cara teknik pancing lewat e-mail atau WhatsApp (WA). Teknik analisis data terdiri atas identifikasi data, klasifikasi data, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian berupa dua temuan. Pertama, wujud kesalahan pemakaian kesalahan pemakaian bahasa Jawa krama  pada berbagai jenis kata dan imbuhan). Faktor peyebabnya adalah karena (a) belum mampu membedakan kosakata bahasa Jawa krama dengan bahasa Indonesia, (b) belum dapat membedakan per-untukan bahasa Jawa krama untuk diri sendiri dan untuk orang tua atau orang lain yang dihormati, (c) bahasa Jawa yang dikuasai terbatas pada “krama ndesa”, (d) kata sifat yang tidak memiliki acuan konkret menjadi kesulitan tersendiri, dan (e) banyak imbuhan bahasa Jawa krama yang dipakai tidak lengkap. Kedua, preservasi bahasa Jawa krama yang perlu terus dilakukan agar bahasa Jawa krama tetap lestari. Namun masih terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi, yaitu (a) banyak orang tua tidak lagi menggunakan BJ krama, (b) generasi muda bertutur terbiasa menggunakan bahasa Jawa ngoko atau bahasa Indonesia, (c) sebagian guru bahasa Jawa bukan dari bidangnya, (e)  banyak guru BJ yang kurang kreatif, dan (f) bahasa Jawa generasi muda yang belum baik kurang mendapat motivasi dari lingkungannya.

Abstract

 This article is a qualitative descriptive case study. The purpose of this study is to describe the greeting by the speaker to the speech partner, the process of acquiring politeness, and obtaining the pragmatic meaning of politeness. The research method includes data sources from teachers, students, and parents who often visit the school. The data of the research data is speech uttered by fellow teachers, students with teachers, and teachers with guardians of students. The research findings include (a) greetings between teachers, students, and student guardians are generally polite, (b) the process of language acquisition usually occurs through habituation, and (c) pragmatic meanings found in general are to ask, greet, inform, and rebuke.
