Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam merancang kurikulum SMA melalui penerapan project based learning model pada mata kuliah Pengembangan Kurikulum Biologi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas dengan tahap Perencanaan, Implementasi, dan Observasi serta Refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus dengan topik: pengembangan tujuan kurikulum pada siklus 1, pengembangan struktur dan muatan kurikulum pada siklus 2, dan pengembangan implementasi kurikulum pada siklus 3. Setiap siklus dilakukan selama 4 kali pertemuan (2 minggu), dengan waktu setiap pertemuan 2 jam pertemuan. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi proses pembelajaran dan lembar penilaian produk rancangan kurikulum. Sintaks model pembelajaran project based learning terdiri dari: 1) menentukan permasalahan proyek, 2) menentukan langkah-langkah penyelesaian proyek, 3) menyusun jadwal penyelesaian proyek, 4) penyelesaian proyek dan monitoring, 5) penyusunan laporan dan presentasi, dan 6) evaluasi proses dan hasil proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas mahasiswa dalam belajar merancang ketiga produk (paket produk). Adapun paket produk yang dihasilkan meliputi: visi misi dan tujuan kurikulum, (2) struktur dan muatan kurikulum, dan (3) implementasi kurikulum. Paket produk rancangan kurikulum yang dihasilkan sebanyak delapan paket sesuai dengan jumlah kelompok. Kurikulum yang dihasilkan termasuk dalam kategori baik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model project based learning berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan merancang kurikulum yang dimiliki mahasiswa.Kata kunci: project based learning, kemampuan merancang, kurikulum

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan worksheet of integrated science berbasis guided inquiry learning yang layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kurikulum 2013, khususnya untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir dan scientific attitude siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengemba-ngan dengan memodifikasi langkah-langkah penelitian 4-D (four-D models) Borg dan Gall namun dibatasi pada tahap develop (3-D dari 4-D). Pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai dari bulan Juli 2013 s/d November 2013. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar penilaian kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran serta lembar iden-tifikasi ketercakupan keterampilan berpikir dan scientific attitude. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS IPA terpadu yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 dan berpotensi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpi-kir serta scientific attitude siswa SMP.Kata kunci: integrated science, guided inquiry, kurikulum 2013

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi implementasi model Problem Based Learning (PBL),meningkatkan problem solving dan sikap curiosity calon guru pada mata kuliah IPA 1. Jenis penelitian ini adalahpenelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahap perencanaan, implementasi dan observasi serta refleksi. Penelitian inidilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus dengan materi yang diajarkan meliputi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhipertumbuhan tanaman, pemisahan campuran, dan termoregulasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tesproblem solving dan lembar observasi problem solving, curiosity serta keterlaksanaan model PBL. Prosespembelajaran dilakukan sesuai dengan sintaks yang terdapat dalam model PBL. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan keterlaksanaan model PBL sudah baik dengan terlaksananya semua langkah pada siklus 3.Strategi perbaikan yang dilakukan berupa memfokuskan orientasi masalah yang disajikan, membimbing calonguru dalam berbagi tugas dalam kelompok dan mengatur waktu sehingga pembelajaran lebih optimal. Hasiltes menunjukkan peningkatan rerata nilai problem solvingcalon guru dari siklus ke siklus dan di dukung denganhasil observasi dimana tiap aspek problem solving mencapai kategorisangat baik. Dengan demikian, dapatdisimpulkan bahwa penerapan model PBL dapat meningkatkan problem solving dan curiosity calon guru dalampembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 3 Sidoluhur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini mengggunakan observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Sidoluhur yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Pada siklus I terdapat 21 siswa dengan kategori keaktifan belajar tinggi, 6 siswa dengan kategori sedang, dan 2 siswa dengan kategori rendah. Persentase keaktifan belajar siswa pada siklus I mencapai 69.5%. Pada siklus II terdapat 27 siswa dengan kategori keaktifan belajar tinggi dan 2 siswa dengan kategori sedang. Persentase keaktifan belajar siswa pada siklus II mencapai 82.4%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of electronic-based student worksheets (E-LKPD) on student learning outcomes. The method used was a quasi-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample taken in a cluster random sampling were 32 students of class VII SMPN 2 Ngemplak Sleman School Year 2021/2022. The instrument used was a problem sheet in the form of a description. The results of the study were analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of the analysis of the increase in the pretest and posttest obtained an average of N-Gain 0.60 in the medium category. The average pretest value was 6.94 while the average posttest value was 8.80. Test results of t sig value (2-tailed) < 0.05 showed a significant improvement between pre-test and post-test.  This indicated that E-LKPD-based SETS was effective for improving students' cognitive learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Indonesian government runs Teaching Campus Program as part of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) – Independent Campus Program – which aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop hard and soft skills through meaningful activities outside the classroom. Proactivity has been considered a crucial competency to support one's success and this study aims at determining the factors that affect it. The aims of this study is to analyses the effect of student’s internal motivation and digital literacy on their proactivity. This study use a quantitative method, it involved 132 students who participated in Phase 1 of the Teaching Campus Program. The data were collected using an online questionnaire. The data were analyzed by regression and the results showed that students’ internal motivation and digital literacy had a positive and significant influence on their proactivity. The result of study found that to enhance students’ proactivity, their internal motivation and digital literacy need to be put forward. To stimulate students’ internal motivation, they should be asked frequently about their learning goals and objectives in higher education, or their targets after graduation, while improving their digital literacy is by applying online learning (e-learning) in the classroom. The Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) learning system can also be implemented to improve digital literacy skills.

The ability to think critically is one of the profiles of Pancasila students that students must possess in the independent curriculum. Critical thinking skills are one of the abilities that students need in solving problems. This research aims to describe the implementation of interactive Science ebooks based on PBL to enhance the critical thinking skills of students in the topic of environmental pollution. The research design used is quantitative descriptive. The research design used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of the study is all seventh-grade students of SMPN in Yogyakarta. The sample of this research is the seventh-grade student’s one of the junior high schools in Yogyakarta, selected through simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used is a multiple-choice critical thinking test with five indicators. Indicators of critical thinking abilities are explaining, evaluation, concluding, analysis, and designing strategies. The results showed an improvement in critical thinking skills through the N-gain test of 0.8, indicating a high category. The average indicator of students' critical thinking skills who obtained the highest score was the explaining indicator with an average of 90.5%, while the indicator with the lowest average among students' critical thinking skills was the analysis indicator with an average of 70.01%. This indicates that the use of Science Ebook Innovation Based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) can enhance the critical thinking skills of students. It is expected that this research can provide references for future researchers, and innovations related to interactive teaching materials can be developed not only for one subject but for all subjects in middle school science.

Abstract

The current state of science learning in madrasah reveals a lack of integration between teaching materials and technology, as well as a failure to incorporate relevant al-Qur'an verses connecting propositions to scientific content. Moreover, the absence of assessments evaluating students' motivating attitudes toward learning further compounds these challenges. This study seeks to assess the necessity of developing integrated teaching materials for science education in Temanggung Regency's madrasah, employing flip books as a technological tool. Participants included six science teachers and nine students, and data was collected through interviews. Analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The findings indicate a shared need among teachers and students for teaching materials that seamlessly blend technology and al-Qur'an verses through flipbooks in science education. Consequently, future research should focus on the development of flipbooks that incorporate al-Qur'an verses as integral components of teaching materials for enhanced science learning experiences.

Abstract

One of the goals of learning science is to help students develop their science curiosity. Students' curiosity is a personality trait motivated by the desire to find a solution or fill a specific knowledge gap. Using science modules in science is expected to be a solution to stimulate student’s science curiosity. The purpose of this study was to determine the curiosity level of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta, especially on the temperature and heat topic. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis used the N-gain test to determine the increase in student’s science curiosity. The subjects in this study were students of class VII G SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta, who collected 32 students using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques consist of questionnaires and the data collection used in the form of pretest and posttest. Based on the data analysis there is difference in the pretest and posttest results with the average N-gain obtained is 0.69, which is in the medium category. It can be concluded that the use of STEM integrated Crosscutting Concepts can improve students’ science curiosity. This is evidenced by the difference in pretest and posttest, also the N-gain score which is in medium category.
