Abstract

Abstrak: Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transformasional dan Transaksional Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, gaya kepemimpinan transaksional, kepuasan kerja terhadap organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel 87 karyawan FIS dan FE UNY. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi. Uji variabel mediasi menggunakan metode Baron and Kenny. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kepemimpinan transaksional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap OCB, dan kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai mediator pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepemimpinan transaksional pada OCB karyawan.Kata kunci: Gaya kepemimpinan, Kepuasan Kerja, Organizational Citizenship BehaviorAbstract: The influence of Transformational and Transactional Leadership to Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence and the relationship among transformational leadership style, transactional leadership style, and job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) of Social Science Faculty and Economics Faculty Yogyakarta State University employees. This study was classified as descriptive qualitative research with a sample of 87 participants. The data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires. Hypothesis test was using the regression analysis with a significance level of 0.05. Variable meditation test was using the method of Baron and Kenny. The result showed that transformational leadership had a positive effect on the job satisfaction, transactional leadership had a positive effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive effect on the OCB, and job satisfaction was a mediator to the effect to the transformational leadership and transactional leadership on the OCB employees.Keywords: Leadership style, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aimed to identify and formulate the labor market demand on works skills for secretary indicated in job advertisements. The study conducted from February to July 2019. The particular research used content analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection used documentation and focused on group discussion. The object of this research was job vacancy information for secretary in mass media and digital media. There were four stages of data analysis in this study. First, organizing and checking data. Second, rechecking data. Third, describing, summarizing, and organizing the coding containing categories that are more specific and distinguished from other categories. Fourth, conducting final analysis in making interpretation and drawing conclusions the research findings. The research discovered that the most needed of hard skill aspects for secretary are English language skill, Ms. Office and computer skill. Furthermore, the most needed of soft skill aspects are communication, attractive, and honest. Keywords: content analysis, worker skills, secretaryIdentifikasi Kebutuhan Keterampilan Sekretaris melalui Analisis Konten Lowongan PekerjaanAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan merumuskan permintaan pasar tenaga kerja pada keterampilan kerja bagi calon sekretaris dalam iklan lowongan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis konten dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan focus grup discussion. Objek penelitian ini adalah informasi lowongan pekerjaan untuk calon sekretaris di media cetak dan digital. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: 1) mengorganisasi data dan memeriksa data dengan cermat, 2) melakukan pemeriksaan ulang terhadap data, 3) mendeskripsikan, meringkas, dan mengorganisasi pengodean yang berisi kategori-kategori yang sudah lebih spesifik dan terbedakan dari kategori lain, 4) melakukan analisis terakhir, membuat interpretasi dan kesimpulan akhir berisi hasil temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) aspek hard skill yang banyak ditemukan untuk calon sekretaris adalah kemampuan bahasa inggris, kemampuan Ms. Office dan keterampilan komputer. (2) aspek soft skill yang banyak ditemukan untuk calon sekretaris adalah keterampilan komunikasi, berpenampilan menarik dan jujur. Kata kunci: Analisis Konten, Keterampilan Pekerja, Sekretaris

Abstract

The rise of the millennial generation, especially in Indonesia, has overtaking the majority of various workplaces. Millennial workers are likely to have different characteristics from the previous generation, so the leader needs to adjust the treatment to create millennials’ job satisfaction and engagement. This study aimed to analyze the effect of psychological contracts on work engagement with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. This study used an explanatory method with a quantitative approach. The data was collected using a questionnaire and was analyzed using Partial Least Square software. There were four main findings in the study. First, psychological contracts, both transactional and relational, had a significant effect on job satisfaction. Second, transactional psychological contracts had a significant effect on work engagement. Third, job satisfaction mediated the relationship between transactional and relational psychological contracts with work engagement. Fourth, the rational psychological contract was not the main factor in increasing work engagement.
