Abstract

Humans are the most important resource in the organization. This study aims to analyze human resource management at Vocational Business and Management in the Province of DIY. The research objects were 2 public SMKs and 2 private SMKs in each district/ city. Research using qualitative descriptive methods. Vocational Business and Management in Yogyakarta Province has carried out human resource management well. Planning is done according to needs. Recruitment through various media and selection of various stages to get HR according to qualifications. Employees are placed according to their competencies. Compensation and rewards follow employee contributions and performance. Development is carried out following the organization that houses it. Employees stop according to their own requirements or wishes. It is expected that SMKs can develop employees independently so that it does not depend on the organization that houses it.ABSTRAKManusia merupakan sumber daya paling utama pada organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen sumber daya manusia pada SMK Bisnis dan Manajemen di Provinsi DIY. Objek penelitian adalah 2 SMK Negeri dan 2 SMK Swasta di setiap kabupaten/ kota. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. SMK Bisnis dan Manajemen di Provinsi DIY telah melaksanakan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dengan baik. Perencanaan dilakukan menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan. Rekrutmen melalui berbagai media dan seleksi berbagai tahapan untuk mendapatkan SDM sesuai kualifikasi. Pegawai ditempatkan sesuai kompetensinya. Kompensasi dan penghargaan mengikuti kontribusi dan kinerja pegawai. Pengembangan dilakukan mengikuti organisasi yang menaunginya. Pegawai berhenti sesuai dengan ketentuan atau keinginan sendiri. Diharapkan SMK dapat mengembangkan karyawan secara mandiri sehingga tidak tergantung dari organisasi yang menaunginya.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to provide insight and provision to final-level vocational students at the Wates campus, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. The activities include; online seminars and mentoring in making curriculum vitae, job application letters, and preparing for online interviews. The activity was carried out through three stages of activity, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. Preparation is carried out by conducting a needs survey for final year students regarding work preparation. The implementation is carried out by training and mentoring, using the lecture method, namely through organizing online seminar activities through the Zoom application entitled "Preparing for the world of work in the New Normal era", followed by question and answer discussions and training and mentoring as a form of implementing the training that has been provided. Evaluation of activities is carried out for each stage through data collection from each stage of activity. The method used in this stage of community service implementation includes seminars and mentoring. This method provides an opportunity to equip trainees to prepare for work in a period of adapting to new habits which include self-development and work readiness ethics, how to see job opportunities in the pandemic era, making creative CVs and job applications, and tips on preparing for job interviews via online.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peranan Administrasi Kepegawaian Pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Kepegawaian merupakan unsur penting dalam administrasi yang akan menggerakkan unsur yang lainnya. Sehingga sangat perlu diperhatian dalam peranan atau kegiatannya. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran administrasi kepegawaian pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Desain penelitian deskriptif dimaksudkan untuk mendapatkan informasi mendalam fakta terkait pengelolaan kepegawaian pada SMK di DIY. Pendeskripsian pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan hasil analisis wawancara dan bantuan dokumentasi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa administrasi kepegawaian pada SMK di DIY belum dilaksanakan sepenuhnya secara maksimal walaupun dalam ketentuannya sudah tercantum. Untuk penarikan tenaga kerja serta seleksi pegawai masih bergantung kepada pemerintah provinsi. Untuk pelatihan terhadap personel yang ada mengikuti pelatihan yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah provinsi. Akan tetapi untuk pengembangan struktur organisasi, penggolongan jabatan, penilaian kecakapan, perencanaan kenaikan pangkat, hubungan antar manusia dan kegiatan untuk memelihara dan mempertahankan moril dan disiplin pegawai telah dilakukan dengan baik.Abstract: The Role of Staff Administration in Vocational High Schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Staffing is an important element in administration that will move the other elements. So it is necessary be concerned in the roles or activities. This study aims to determine the role of personnel administration at the Vocational High School (VHS) in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). This research was conducted with qualitative descriptive. Descriptive research design is intended to obtain in-depth information on facts related to staffing management at VHS in DIY. Descriptions in this study with the help of the results of interview analysis and documentation in the field. The results of the study show that the personnel administration at VHS in DIY has not been fully implemented even though the provisions have been stated. For the withdrawal of workers and the selection of employees still depends on the provincial government. For training of existing personnel following training held by the provincial government. However, for the development of organizational structures, job classification, skills assessment, promotion planning, human relations and activities to maintain and maintain morale and discipline of employees have been done well.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pelayanan Publik Pemerintah Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Melalui Efektivitas Content Website. Pelayanan yang baik dapat memberikan manfaat bagi pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelayanan publik Pemerintah Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) melalui efektivitas konten website. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendapatkan informasi pelayanan publik melalui website content. Deskripsi penelitian ini adalah hasil dari analisis wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan website content sudah cukup efektif dalam penyelenggaran pelayanan. Pemerintah telah berusaha melayani kebutuhan spesifik dari berbagai kalangan walaupun belum dapat terwujud secara maksimal untuk menciptakan pelayanan publik prima. Konten website bertujuan untuk pencapian visi, misi, dan tujuan Pemerintah Provinsi DIY. Relasi antara pemerintah dan audience telah terjalin secara kuat terutama audience pemerintah. Komunikasi dengan pemerintah dapat dilakukan dengan cepat dan murah. Selain itu, website dapat menunjang demokrasi pemerintah sehingga kepercayaan publik  meningkat melalui keterbukan. Pemerintah diharapkan dapat terus berusaha mengembangkan konten website secara efektif.  Abstract: Public Services of Yogyakarta Special Regional Province Government trough The Website Content Effectiveness. Good service can provide benefits for users. This study aims to analyze public services of the Government of the Special Province of Yogyakarta (DIY) through the effectiveness of website content. This study used descriptive qualitative to obtain information on public services through website content. The description of this research is the result of interview analysis and documentation. The results show that website content was quite effective in providing services. The government has tried to serve the specific needs of various groups although it has not been maximally implemented to create excellent public services. Website content aims to achieve the vision, mission, and goals of the Provincial Government of DIY. The relationship between the government and the audience has been strong, especially the government audience. Audience can communicate with the government quickly and cheaply. Furthermore, in order to increase public trust, website can support government democracy through openness. It is hoped that the government will continue to strive to develop effective website content

Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis Kebutuhan Keterampilan Desain Grafis Perkantoran Bagi Mahasiswa D3 Sekretari UNY. Salah satu peran sekretaris adalah sebagai pelaksana fungsi hubungan masyarakat, sehingga seorang calon sekretaris dituntut memiliki keterampilan mendesain publikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui tanggapan Dunia Usaha /Dunia Industri (DU/DI) tentang kebutuhan keterampilan desain grafis perkantoran bagi mahasiswa D3 Sekretari FE UNY; 2) Mengetahui keterampilan desain grafis yang dibutuhkan oleh DU/DI. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April-Juni tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diambil menggunakan angket tertutup. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa D3 Sekretari FE UNY dan organisasi atau perusahaan yang menjadi tempat Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) Mahasiswa D3 Sekretari FE UNY. Penarikan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk responden dari kelompok  DU/DI dan teknik insidental sampling untuk responden dari kelompok mahasiswa D3 Sekretari FE UNY. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan sebagian besar DU/DI dan mahasiswa mengenai kebutuhan keterampilan desain grafis perkantoran yaitu: 1). Keterampilan desain grafis perkantoran merupakan ketrampilan administrasi perkantoran modern yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi modernisasi dan variasi pekerjaan kantor; 2). Media penyampian informasi yang paling banyak digunakan di DU/DI adalah X-banner; 3). Penyampaian informasi terlihat lebih modern, menarik dan informatif dengan keterampilan desain grafis kantor; 4). Keterampilan desain grafis perkantoran bagi mahasiswa dan pegawai dianggap penting untuk dikuasai; 5). produk desain grafis perkantoran untuk pekerjaan perkantoran modern yang paling banyak dipilih yaitu logo instansi/perusahaan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dan rekomendasi perumusan kurikulum D3 Sekretari FE UNY dan sekolah vokasi lain yang mempunyai kemiripan nomenklatur keilmuan. ABSTRACT: Analysis of Office Graphic Design Skills for Diploma Students of Secretary Program in Yogyakarta Sate University. One of the secretary roles is as an executor of public relations functions, so that a prospective secretary is required to have the skills to design publications. This study aims to: 1) Know the response of the business/industrial about the needs of office graphic design skills for diploma students of the Secretariat FE UNY; 2) Knowing the graphic design skills needed by business / industrial. The study was conducted in April-June 2018. This study used a descriptive research design with a quantitative approach. The research data was taken using a closed questionnaire. The population in this study were D3 Secretariat students of the UNY FE and organizations or companies that became the place of Field Work Practices (PKL) of D3 Students Secretariat of the Faculty of Economics UNY. The withdrawal of the study sample used a purposive sampling technique for respondents from the DU / DI group and incidental sampling techniques for respondents from the D3 student group at the UNY FE Secretariat. The results showed that the responses of most DU / DI and students regarding the needs of office graphic design skills were: 1). Office graphic design skills are the skills of modern office administration needed to deal with the modernization and variation of office work; 2). The most widely used media delivery information in business/industrial is X-banner; 3). Submission of information looks more modern, interesting and informative with office graphic design skills; 4). Office graphic design skills for students and employees are considered important to be mastered; 5). office graphic design products for the most chosen modern office work, namely agency / company logos. The results of this study can be used as material for consideration and recommendations for the formulation of the UNY FE Secretariat Diploma curriculum and other vocational schools that have similar scientific nomenclature.

Abstract

PNPM-MP is one of the mechanisms of community empowerment program in an effort to accelerate poverty reduction and expansion of employment opportunities inrural areas. Guidelines for the implementation of PNPM-MP contained in the Decree of the Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare No. 25 of 2007. PNPM-MP implementation in various places showed varying results. Pringsurat District Temanggung Regency, is one of the districts that implement the PNPM Mandiri since the beginning of the name of the PPK in 2003. In this district, the biggest beneficiary in 2012 is Kebumen Village.Implementation of PNPM-MP at Kebumen Village has been good since it follows the stages of Directive Technical Operations. Constraints faced which are deteriorationof physical activities and clogged installment loans are now almost resolved. Planning should take into consideration in the implemention based on community activities, siteconditions and seasons. At the time of eligibility verification, character of the people who apply should be considered, as well as their ability and discipline to pay.

Abstract

Instilling the character values is realized through a learning process that aims to equip graduates with job readiness and help internalize values for student life on campus and in society. This study aims to investigate the effects of giving soft skills training on student character development. The research respondents consisted of 148 students. This study employed a quantitative approach. Primary data were gathered using a questionnaire. The data validity utilized content validity and item validation with product moment Pearson correlation analysis. Data analysis used paired-sample tests. The results show that there was a significant difference in the student’s character before and after obtaining soft skill materials. Student character values are better after being given soft skill training than before getting soft skill training.
