Abstract

Analytic Network Process ( ANP ) is a technique to help resolve the problem . In its development , the ANP is not only used to determine the priority of choices with many criteria , but its application has been extended as an alternative model to solve various problems . This is possible because the ANP sufficient to rely on intuition as its main input , but intuition must come from the decisions that sufficient information and understand the problems faced by decision . Basically ANP is a general theory of measurement . ANP is used to find a good ratio scale of the paired comparison of discrete and continuous . Comparisons can be drawn from the actual size or of a basic scale that reflects the strength of feeling and prefensi relative . ANP has a particular concern about the deviation of consistency , measurement and dependence and among groups of structure elements (Latifah, 2005).Keywords : ANP , Criteria

Abstract

CV ABC is one of the manufacturing industries in Central Java that produces furniture products. The resulting products have good quality so that 60-70 percent of their products are exported while the rest are marketed domestically. The current production process, the application of occupational safety and health have not been fully implemented. From company data for three years, the number of work accidents is 9, 8, and 10 times. The number of hours lost was 154 hours, 168 hours, and 224 hours. Efforts are needed to prevent work accidents that can reduce work productivity. Based on the existing problems, the company needs to identify the causes of work accidents with a fault tree analysis method approach. The factors that cause work accidents can be identified, namely the work area, production process and storage and transfer. This work accident will cause worker productivity to decrease. In 2016 the productivity value was 0.99925, in 2017 the productivity level was 0.99929. In 2017 there was an increase in productivity due to the reduced number of lost hours. In 2018 there was a decrease in the productivity level to 0.99910 due to the increase in the number of lost hours of employees becoming more. The results of the "t" test measurement showed a decrease in the frequency level in 2017 and an increase in the frequency level in 2018. Severity measurements decreased in 2017 and increased in 2018. The safe t value in 2017 has increased. In 2018 there was a decline, so productivity in 2018 decreased. From the relationship between work safety and productivity, it is clear that work accidents cause productivity to decline. In 2016 the productivity value was 0.99925, in 2017 the productivity level was 0.99929.

Abstract

Saat ini proses pemotongan plastik gulung yang digunkan masih tidak efisien, karena media pemotongannya hanya menggunakan pisau cutter dimana bahan baku diletakan di meja kemudian dipotong menggunakan pisau cutter. Kondisi tersebut mengakibatkan pemotongan bahan baku tidak rata serta dapat membuat tubuh sakit karena saat proses pemotongan harus membungkuk seperti di UKM Star Pack, UKM Plastik Semarang. Hasil pemotongan plastik gulung yang telah dipotong hanya dapat dipakai 80% saja. Hal ini dikarenakan memotong dengan menggunakan pisau cutter potonganya tidak rapi (potongan miring) , yang seharusnya 1 plastik gulung ukuran 60cm bisa dipotong mejadi 10 potongan ini menjadi 8–9 saja dan plastik gulung yang dibuang bisa sampai 10 cm sendiri dikarenakan potongan plastik miring. Perancangan mesin menggunakan pendekatan Anthropometri. Data Anthropometri yang digunakan adalah Tinggi Pinggul, Jangkauan Tangan ke Depan, Diameter Genggaman Tangan dan Lebat Telapak Tangan.  Hasil penelitian berupa perancangan mesin pemotong plastik gulung semi otomatis yang disesuaikan dengan dimensi tubuh pekerja. Saat diuji coba mesin dapat bekerja dengan cukup baik. Mesin ini dirasa membantu dalam pemotongan plastik gulung dibanding dengan memotong menggunakan pisau cutter.

Abstract

In the daily food that we eat in addition to protein, vitamins, animal needs are also needed. Animal needs that we need is beef. Beef processing has several kinds of activities, including the process of cutting meat, cutting of beef tripe offal, boiling tripe dapi, cleaning beef tripe, weighing and then the last process is distribution to consumers. In interviews conducted with workers in beef processing, it was found that one of the most tiring processes and made hands hurt. In washing and cleaning dirt using this knife, it takes a long time so that workers' hands are sometimes injured and their hands feel tired or sore. The subjects measured to obtain anthropometric measurement data were 30 workers related to the processing and cleaning of beef tripe innards at the Wonodri market, Semarang. Anthropometric data used are Palm Thickness to Thumb, Palm Width, Palm Length. From the results of the Nordic Body Map questionnaire, all 30 workers felt pain in the right wrist and pain in the right hand. With the new beef tripe cleaning brush, it does not hurt the hands of workers and reduces pain and soreness in the right wrist and right hand. The cleaning time of beef tripe is faster and more efficient than the previous tool. Cow tripe traders in Wonodri market can reduce production time and increase the comfort of workers in cleaning beef tripe.

Abstract

PT. Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang makanan dan minuman. Masalah yang sering dihadapi adalah tempat penyimpanan barang di gudang barang jadi yang kurang terkoordinasi dengan baik sehingga menyulitkan pekerja gudang untuk melakukan bongkar muat barang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang tata letak gudang barang jadi yang diusulkan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan proses penyimpanan dan pengambilan barang dari gudang barang jadi sekaligus menjaga ruang penyimpanan yang ada dengan menggunakan metode class based storage. Koordinasi produk yang baik di dalam dan di luar gudang membuat penggunaan ruang penyimpanan di gudang barang jadi menjadi optimal. Perbaikan dimulai dengan mengklasifikasikan produk berdasarkan frekuensi pergerakan dan membentuk tiga kelas, kelas A, B, dan C. Prosedur investigasi dilakukan dengan menghitung frekuensi pergerakan, jarak tempuh, jumlah kotak penyimpanan, dan biaya material handling. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki tata letak sehingga jarak tempuh pengangkutan material lebih pendek dari sebelumnya dan penyimpanan barang didasarkan pada frekuensi pergerakan barang. Semakin kecil jarak penanganan material, semakin rendah biaya penanganan material (OMH). Hasilnya adalah menurunkan OMH Rp 3.565.620/bulan menjadi Rp. 1.879.740/bulan.Kata Kunci:  Material Handling, Perancangan Tata Letak, Ongkos Material Handling (OMH).

Abstract

Di era sekarang ini perkembangan dunia industri dalam bidang manufaktur di Indonesia telah mengalami peningkatan yang sangat pesat dengan seiring berjalannya teknologi sekarang ini yang semakin maju yang semuanya serba mesin. Kondisi tersebut mengharuskan industri manufaktur untuk terus melakukan perbaikan supaya dapat bertahan dan bersaing di industri manufaktur tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode Activity Relationship Chart  dengan tujuan untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan layout supaya kinerja pada proses ekspor tidak mengalami backtracking. Sehingga ditemukan beberapa masalah pada tiap area proses ekspor yang dapat menimbulkan pemborosan waktu dan backtracking, maka dibuatlah usulan layout baru untuk mengatasi permasalahan yaitu area mana saja yang mutlak penting didekatkan, sangat penting, penting, cukup, tidak penting, dan tidak diinginkan untuk didekatkan. Kata kunci: Produksi, Usulan perbaikan, tata letak, Backtracking, Activiy relationship chart, Proses Ekspor

Abstract

The existing sheller machine on the market still uses diesel fuel and electricity, even though diesel fuel has increased. Solar is a non-renewable energy. In addition, there is a new modification of the corn sheller machine with solar power to replace diesel fuel. The fuel replacement is focused on the utilization of sunlight. This corn sheller machine can replace the use of fossil raw materials and electricity with solar power and obtain faster, more ergonomic product results. The data required in this study are body dimension data or shoulder height anthropometry in an upright standing position to determine the height of the corn sheller that will be done standing when the farmer does the corn shelling process. With the existence of a solar-powered corn sheller machine, it is expected to be more productive than before. The transition to the use of environmentally friendly (pollution-free) corn sheller machines so as to reduce air pollution that previously used motor engines with fossil fuels, namely diesel, corn farmers can understand about work comfort, are able to operate environmentally friendly corn sheller machines and can carry out maintenance procedures for solar corn sheller machines.
