Abstract

The research objective is to optimize the use of lowland swamps to increase land productivity, crop productivity and income of farmers using the technology innovation management. Lowland swamp optimization activities carried out in Rantau Kapas Mudo, Tembesi Muara Jambi Province in May-September 2014. The assessment carried out by the application of rice-based farming technology using surjan system. Commodities used is rice planted on tabukan and vegetables grown on guludan. Applying technology lowland swamps management, water management, land arrangement, nutrient management and commodities on surjan systems can increase the productivity of land and commodity diversification. The revenue contribution of the rice crop was 69.14% and 30.86% with a vegetable. Farmers' income of Rp. 6.914 million / ha, 43.88% higher than the existing farmers' income.Keywords: lowland swamps, surjan systems, production and income

(Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal 2019, Palembang  4-5 September 2019. pp. 478-486.  Palembang: Unsri Press.This study aims to see the performance and productivity of rice in Inpari 30, Inpari 32, Inpari 33 and Inpara 3 varieties in new paddy fields through integrated crop management (ICM). The assessment was carried out Rasau Village, South Pamenang Subdistrict, Merangin District, Jambi Province in June-October 2018 with an area of 1 ha. The location of the study is the printing of new  paddy fields and locations in basin areas on oil palm plantations. The varieties used are Inpari 30 Varieties, Inpari 32, Inpari 33 and Inpara 3. Varieties used are Inpari 30, Inpari 32, Inpari 33 and Inpara 3. Varieties of technology with ICM approach include new variety superior, seedling age 21 days, number of seedlings 2-3 stems/clump, and planting system of jajar Legowo 4: 1 with spacing 25 cm x 25 cm. Granting Agrimeth as a seed treatment. The dosage of fertilizer given is 150 kg Urea/ha, 100 kg SP-36/ha, 50 kg KCL/ha. The results of the study showed that the percentage of plant growth of several rice varieties in the nursery showed good growth with a percentage of growing more than 80 percent. The growth of rice plants in the vegetative phase and the generative phase showed considerable performance. Of the four varieties, it was seen that  Inpari 30 showed better performance, followed by Inpari 32 varieties, Inpara 3 and Inpari 33. The pests that appeared were brown planthopper pests. Inpari 30 rice productivity is 7.45 t/ha, Inpari 32 is 6.71 t/ha and Inpara 3 is 6.42 t/ha while Inpari 33 rice productivity is 6.13 t/ha. Increased productivity of Inpari 30 rice was 9.93% - 17.72% compared to Inpari 32, Inpari 33 and Inpara 3.Keywords: ICM technology , new rice, new land

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Banyuasin III, Sumatera Selatan pada tahun 2008/2009 di lahan kering dataran rendah. Tujuan untuk meningkatkan produksi cabe merah dengan penerapan teknologi anjuran. Perlakuan penerapan teknologi anjuran dan teknologi petani pada usahatani cabe merah. Teknologi tersebut dilaksanakan oleh 4 petani dengan luasan masing-masing 0,1 ha. Parameter agronomis dianalisis dengan uji statistik yaitu uji kesamaan nilai tengah (uji–t) dan kelayakan finansial usahatani cabe merah. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi anjuran berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah cabang, lebar kanopi, jumlah buah/tanaman, berat 10 buah, dan berat buah segar/0,1 ha kecuali tinggi tanaman, tetapi secaratabulasi teknologi anjuran budidaya cabe merah lebih baik daripada teknologi petani. Produksi buah segar sebesar 400,5 kg/ 1000 m² lebih tinggi dibandingkan teknologi petani (228,9 kg/ 1000 m²). Keuntungan yang diperoleh usahatani cabe merah dengan penerapan teknologi anjuran sebesar Rp 2.024.000/1000 m² lebih besar daripada teknologi petani Rp 1.040.000/1000 m² dengan nilai BC ratio 1,02 dan usahatani tersebut layak untuk dikembangkan dengan nilai MBCR 1,34.

Abstract

The assesment aims to know performance of rice production and income farmer on rice planting system in low land irigation. The assesment was conducted in Sri Agung village, Batang Asam sub District, Tanjung Jabung Barat District on dry season 2008 on farm research wih farmer, Diperta Tanjabbar, BPP, PPL and BPTP. In the assesment farmer apply on rice planting system legowo 4:1, legowo 6:1 and tegel system (25x25 cm) with Ciherang variety planting broad 3 ha. The result showed that rice system legowo 4:1 give growth and yield better than legowo 6:1 and tegel, increasing rice production 1,12 t/ha than tegel rice planting system. Rice planting system of legowo 4:1 was found rice production 7,68 t/ha with financial profit Rp 7.618.500, legowo 6:1 give 7,15 kg/ha with financial profi Rp 6.650.000 and tegel system 6,56 t/ha with financial profit Rp 5.951.000. Rice planting system legowo 4:1 very profit economic and profit addition Rp 1.443.000/ha with R/C 2,42 so rice planting system to development feasibility more large.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the economic feasibility and feasibility of rice farming through assembly of Hazton way cultivation technology in tidal swamp land. This assessment was carried out at dry seson in Senyerang Village, Senyerang sub District, West Tanjung Jabung District, Jambi Province in tidal swamp land with sulfuric acid typology and type of puddle of B/C. The Hazton rice cultivation technology package includes quality seeds, superior varieties, jarwo cropping systems, old seedling age of 25-30 HSS, 15-30 seedlings per hill of fertilizer and dolomite use, dosage and fertilization method, water regulation and pest control. Total of five cooperative farmers using the Hazton rice cultivation technology package were included in this assessment. Data were obtained by direct field observation, primary data was collected with Participatory Rural Appraisal approach. Data analysis was done descriptively qualitative and quantitative using partial budget analysis with economic parameters of revenue, income and R/C. The results show that Hazton rice cultivation technology can increase the productivity of 25.58 percent economically to increase the profit of farming by Rp 1.210.000 /ha, meaning that it is financially more profitable than the farmers and feasible to apply. Abstract

Rice production continues to be increased in order to meet the needs of the indonesian people with various technological innovations including superior varieties and planting systems recommended by the agricultural research and development agency. This research was conducted in the middle lebak swamp agroecosystem in Palembang, South Sumatra. The treatments applied consisted of two superior varieties and two cropping systems. The superior rice varieties applied were inpari 32 and inpari ir nutri zinc with tegel and legowo  2:1 planting system. The aim of the research was to obtain adaptive and high productivity rice varieties with better cropping systems and farmers' preferences for varieties and cropping systems. The data obtained was tabulated and analyzed using the T test statistic (Independent samples T test) using the SPSS program. The results showed that the varietal treatment had a significant effect on plant height at harvest and panicle length. The cropping system has a significant effect on plant height at harvest and productivity. Then the interaction of varieties with cropping systems has a significant effect on all parameters. The legowo 2:1 cropping system has an effect on grain productivity. The highest grain productivity was achieved by the inpari 32 variety, namely 7.0 tonnes gkp/ha with the legowo 2:1 cropping system.INTISARI            Produksi beras terus diupayakan untuk ditingkatkan guna memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat Indonesia dengan berbagai inovasi teknologi diantaranya varietas unggul dan sistem tanam yang direkomendasikan oleh Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pertanian.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada agroekosistem rawa lebak tengahan di Palembang Sumatera Selatan.  Perlakuan yang diterapkan terdiri dari dua varietas unggul dan dua system tanam.  Varietas unggul padi yang diterapkan yaitu Inpari 32 dan Inpari IR Nutri Zinc dengan system tanam tegel dan legowo 2:1. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mendapatkan varietas padi yang adaptif dan produktivitas tinggi dengan sistem tanam yang lebih baik serta preferensi petani terhadap varietas dan system tanam.  Parameter yang diamati terdiri dari tinggi tanaman saat panen, jumlah anakan produktif, Panjang malai, jumlah gabah/malai, jumlah gabah bernas/malai, jumlah gabah hampa/malai dan produktivitas gabah.  Data yang diperoleh disusun secara tabulasi dan dianalisis dengan statistic uji T (Independent samples T test) menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan varietas berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman saat panen, dan panjang malai. Sistem tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman saat panen dan produktivitas.  Kemudian interaksi varietas dengan system tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua paramerter. Sistem tanam legowo 2:1 berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas gabah.  Produktivitas gabah tertinggi dicapai oleh varietas Inpari 32 yaitu 7,0 ton gkp/ha dengan system tanam legowo 2:1.
