Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the factors causing the decrease of early child participation in Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an (TPA) Al Huda and its interaction. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method. This research was conducted at TPA Al Huda Dukuh Tanggung Desa Menjing. The sample of this study was 11 children. Data collection was conducted with in-depth interviews and participant observation. Data were analyzed with interactive model analysis. The results of this research include 1) Factors causing the decline of early childhood participation in TPA Al Huda that is a) They have received Islamic learning in kindergarten, b) They do not get special attention from parents, c) Their siblings do not participate, and ) They get Influence from more mature friends, e) They have different sects, and f) They participate in the new mosque dumping. 2) The interaction of factors causing the decline of early childhood participation in the TPA Al Huda shows that the majority of children are affected by more than one factor. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan penuruan partisipasi anak usia dini di Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an (TPA) Al Huda beserta interaksinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada TPA Al Huda Dukuh Tanggung Desa Menjing. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 11 anak. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi terlibat. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi 1) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan penurunan partisipasi anak usia dini di TPA Al Huda meliputi a) Telah mendapat pembelajaran agama Islam di TK, b) Tidak memperoleh perhatian khusus dari orang tua, c) Kakak kandung tidak berpartisipasi di TPA, d) Pengaruh teman yang lebih dewasa, e) Berbeda aliran/mazhab, dan f) Berpindah ke TPA masjid baru. 2) Interaksi faktor penyebab penuruan partisipasi anak usia dini di TPA Al Huda, menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas anak terdampak lebih dari satu faktor.

Abstract

THE ROLE OF TEACHERS IN DEVELOPING RELIGION TOLERANCE ATTITUDES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD. This study aims to describe the role of teachers based on their competencies and sub- competencies as educators to develop religious tolerance. This research is a descriptive qualitative research conducted at TK Negeri Pembina Karangmalang Sragen. The results of this study revealed that religious tolerance was developed through several parts of development which included: 1) Development of an attitude of respecting the content of prayer, 2) Development of an attitude of respect for prayer and worship, 3) Development of respect for religious symbols, 4) Development of respect for halal-haram concepts, and 5) Development of an attitude of understanding the different names of God. Certain sub-competencies in pedagogical, personality, professional and social competencies are needed to support the role of teachers in developing religious tolerance in early childhood.

Abstract

Student experiences information process causing particular behaviors while studying. Neuroscience is a study to understand behavior and mental process based on brain activity. In Indonesian, collaborative study between education and medicine on preschool-aged children’s neuroscience is still scarce. In fact that using this collaboration, some elements related to student’s behavior and information process can be seen. This paper spells out potential collaborative studies on neuroscience of preschool-aged children. This study is categorized into qualitative descriptive research. The data were collected through an in-depth interview with the head of education and research section of UNS Hospital and document study. The result of the study found a number of potential collaborative studies between UNS Hospital and ECE department of UNS, namely: 1) Assessing level of stress using Bio-neurofeedback; 2) Assessing Learning comfort using Electroencephalograph; 3) Assessing Interest and Aptitude using Electroencephalograph; and 4) Therapy on Gadget Addiction using Bio-neurofeedback. Those findings can be used as a basic for further research about neuroscience in early childhood.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Relasi guru-anak merupakan interaksi antara guru dengan anak yang terjadi dalam lingkungan sekolah. Jalinan interaksi guru dengan anak penting karena dapat mempengaruhi capaian kemampuan anak dalam berbagai aspek perkembangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara relasi guru-anak dengan kemampuan keaksaraan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 121 anak TK Kelompok B Se-Gugus 8 Jasmine Laweyan Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang diisi oleh guru kelas. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi. Uji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman rho yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara relasi guru-anak dengan kemampuan keaksaraan anak. Koefisien korelasi yang didapatkan sebesar 0,350 yang menunjukan arah hubungan positif. Kondisi ini berarti relasi guru-anak yang baik berhubungan dengan peningkatan kemampuan keaksaraan anak, artinya apabila terdapat relasi dengan dimensi kedekatan antara guru-anak memiliki intensitas yang tinggi dan dimensi konflik antara guru-anak memiliki intensitas yang rendah maka kemampuan keaksaraan anak akan dapat berkembang dengan baik. Kata kunci : relasi guru-anak, keaksaraan, anak usia 5-6 tahunABSTRACT Teacher-child relationships were interaction between teacher and children in the school. Interaction of teacher and children was very important because teacher could affect achievement of developmental aspects. The purpose of this study was to find out whether was a correlation between teacher-child relationships with early literacy children. This research was correlation quantitative.  This research sample included 121 children of kindergarten Group B at 8 Jasmine Cluster Laweyan Surakarta. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires answered by class teacher. Data analysis used by correlation. Hypothesis test of this research used Spearman rho correlation analysis showed that the significamce value was 0,000 < 0,05 which meant the hypothesis was accepted, namely the correlation between the teacher-child relationships with early literacy children. Correlation coefficient of 0,350, the direction of the correlation showed a positive sign.This condition meant that a good teacher-child relationships related to the improvement of childrens early literacy, This means that if there was a relationship with the dimension of closeness between teacher-child had a high intensity and the dimension of conflict between teacher-child had a low intensity, the child's literacy ability would develop.Keywords: teacher-child relationships, early Literacy, 5-6 Years Old Children

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to identify the development of early childhood morality in Islamic PAUD institutions which are categorized as undeveloped. This study uses a qualitative approach involving 6 class teachers from 4 Islamic PAUD institutions in Surakarta. A total of 210 data on child development achievements were analyzed quantitatively descriptive and qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that in Islamic PAUD institutions there are competencies related to children's morality that has not yet developed in both the NAM and the Social-Emotional aspects. These findings contributing for the study of the implementation of the Islamic PAUD concept for children's moral development. The theoretical and practical analysis of the results can be used as a reference for improving the approach to developing early childhood morality. Keywords: Moral Development, Morality, Early Childhood, Islamic PAUD Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi perkembangan moralitas anak usia dini pada lembaga PAUD Islam yang berkategori belum berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang melibatkan 6 guru kelas dari 4 lembaga PAUD Islam di Surakarta. Sebanyak 210 data capaian perkembangan anak dianalisis secara kuantitatif deskriptif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada lembaga PAUD Islam terdapat kompetensi-kompetensi terkait moralitas anak yang belum berkembang baik pada aspek NAM maupun Sosial Emosional. Temuan ini melengkapi kajian hasil implementasi konsep PAUD Islam bagi pengembangan moral anak. Hasil analisis secara teoretis dan praktis dapat digunakan sebagai acuan perbaikan pendekatan pengembangan moralitas anak usia dini.

Abstract

Kualitas layanan program pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) menunjang keberhasilan peserta didik.  Kurangnya pemahaman pendidik mengenai pengelolaan manajemen PAUD terutama manajemen kurikulum menjadi hambatan dalam peningkatan kualitas layanan PAUD. Manajemen kurikulum sangatlah penting karena manajemen ini menentukan bahan ajar yang disesuaikan dengan aspek perkembangan anak dalam rangka mencapai tumbuh kembang yang optimal dengan pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sosialisasi terkait pelaksanaan dan penataan manajemen kurikulum PAUD agar lebih terarah dan berkembang lebih optimal di lembaga PAUD. Sampel pengabdian adalah TK Aulia Surakarta. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan berjalan dengan baik meskipun terkendala oleh pandemi, dan peningkatan pemahaman dan pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum PAUD lebih terarah dan berkembang optimal.

Abstract

The ability to recognize religious values is important for children aged 4-5 years, because it will greatly affect the development of children at the next level. The ability to recognize religious values will develop well if it is supported by the right media. This study aims to promote interactive animation video learning media to help the ability to recognize religious values of children aged 4-5 years. Interactive animated video is a combination of visual-based media with audio media. This type of research was Research and Development (R&D) from Plomp. The research sample was 30 children aged 4-5 years in Permata Hati Jajar Islamic Kindergarten, Surakarta. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and children’s performance. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the data analysis showed that 90% of material experts were obtained, media experts were 81%, teachers were 88%, development trials were 89%, implementation was 94%. The overall assessment results was obtained an average score of 88%. The average score that had been obtaining showed that the interactive animated video developed was very suitable to be use as a medium to help introduce religious values in children aged 4-5 years. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the interactive animated videos developed were able to increase the ability to recognize religious values in children aged 4-5 years.
