Abstract

This study aimed to determine of the cost of production, farm income of oil palm nursery of Topas and Marihat types and the average cost Marihat and Topas types. Population in this study is the Society of Oil Palm Nursery seek in Simpang Baru District, Tampan, Pekanbaru amounting to 30 families and the entire population in this study were sampled by census method. Analysis of the data used was descriptive and qualitative data analysis. From the research obtained the cost production of oil palm breeding farm of Marihat was Rp. 162 351 094 acres / year, the cost production of was Topas was Rp. 183 156 657 acres / year. The income of oil palm breeding farm of Marihat was Rp. 61,058,618acres / year, and for Topas was Rp. 184 152 657 acres/ year. the average cost of oil palm breeding farm of Marihat was Rp. 29580.28 acres / year,and for Topas was Rp.18.298.86 acres / year.Keywords: Oil Palm Breeding Farm, Revenue, Cost.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the Labor, Material and Technology Variable to the Production Value in the Printing industry in the Riau . The data used in this study was a time series data from 1990 to 2012 were sourced from Statistic Center agency (Badan Pusat Statistic). This study used quantitative research methods, and analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis by using SPSS 21 software program for Windows computers. In this study, the independent variable was Labor (X1), Material (X2) and Tecnology (X3) while the dependent variable was Production Value in the Printing industry (Y).This study tested the hypothesis of regression coefficient (coefficient of determination, a significant test concurrent / F test, and the significant individual test / t test). The result showed the variable Labor, Material and Technology at once / simultaneously had a significant influence on the Production Value in the Printing industry. The individual test / partial showed that Labor and Material variable acquired that contributes greater than the variable Technology to the Production Value in the Printing industry.Keywords: Labor, Material, Technology and Production Value in the Printing industry.

Abstract

Poverty is a complex and complicated issues that require analysis in order to obtain a solution to overcome poverty or at least reduce poverty. This study aimed to examine the effect of the unemployment rate and the level of the minimum wage on poverty levels in Riau province. This research uses secondary data. Analysis of the data in this study using a multiple linear regression method. Hypothesis testing using partial test (t test), simultaneous (F test), Test Correlation Coefficient (R) and test the coefficient of determination (R2). The data used in this study are data on the number of poor people, the number of unemployed and the level of the minimum wage in the province of Riau Province in 2002-2011. The results of the testing that has been done, the entire regression test showed that all independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable. Individual regression test showed that the number of open unemployment has no significant effect on the number of poor people in Riau province, but the provincial minimum wage have a significant effect on the number of poor people of Riau Province. The magnitude of the effect caused by the two independent variables together on the dependent variable of 92.1%, while the remaining 8.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: Poverty, Unemployment, Province Minimum Wage.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the overall assessment of visitors to the Dharma Wanita garden of Pekanbaru City and also to find out, as well as to determine the demand for economical value or level visits with Contingent Valuation method. Total population used as samples in this study were 100 people. The method used in this study is accidental sampling. The analytical method used in this research is descriptive method using Valuatian Contingent approach. From the results of this study concluded that the general assessment visitors against Dharma Wanita garden of Pekanbaru City is pretty good. It can be found that most of the visitor answers by 37%. Majority of visitors came from the city of Pekanbaru. Economical value and the level of demand or visitation level of Dharma Wanita garden of Pekanbaru city with Contingent Valuation Method, that can be found from total income of WTP’s visitors to the City of Rp.383.750 per day and the amount will increase on holidays.Keywords: Economic Values and Contingent Valuation Methods

Abstract

The research was conducted at Tanjung village sub-district of Koto Kampar Hulu the district of Kampar on 2015. The objective of research was to find out how Gambier farming trade done by the society of Gambier farmers at Tanjung village sub-district of Koto Kampar Hulu, The research used premier data obtained directly on the object of research, collected from gambier farmers at Tanjung village sub-district of Koto Kampar Hulu. the population of research was 30 persons of gambier farmers, secondary data was collected from some institutions such as BPS Riau, the data taken was width data and sector production of PDRB farming, citizen data. The data from department of plantation of Kampar was the price of Gambier, industry department and trading was taken from gambir export at Tanjung village sub-district of Koto Kampar Hulu on numeral and monograph data at Tanjung village, and the references were the books from library related to research. Based on the results of research that the success of farmers of gambier at Tanjung village sub-district of Koto Kampar Hulu and influenced by characteristic of social of gambier farmers (farmers identity, adoption process and transformation process of rubber trade to gambier trade) and the characteristic of economy of farmers (capital source, price, marketing, costs, farmer management and farmers income), their marketing was in villages with varieties method, some of farmers sell the gambier to the shop of gambier and through mediators, the obstacles the farmers faced was the decreasing of price and the instruments was broken it inhabitant all activities in gambier processing.Keywords: farm gambier, gambier production factors, characteristics of farming gambier

Abstract

Unemployment is the macroeconomic problems that affect humans directly and is a complex problem that requires analysis to obtain a solution to unemployment or at least reduce unemployment. This study aimed to examine the effect of migration on unemployment entry and investment in the city of Pekanbaru. This research uses secondary data. analysis of the data in this study using multiple linear regression method. hypothesis testing using partial test (t test), simultaneous (f test), test correlation coefficient (R) and test the coefficient of determination (). the data used in this study are data on the number of unemployed, the number of migrations and the amount of investment in the city of Pekanbaru 2002-2011.The results of the testing that has been done, the entire regression test showed that all independent variables have no significant effect on the dependent variable. individual regression test showed that the number of in-migration does not significantly influence the number of unemployed in the city of Pekanbaru, and investment also no significant effect on the number of unemployed in the city of Pekanbaru. The magnitude of the effect caused by the two independent variables together on the dependent variable of 38.7%, while the remaining 61.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords: unemployment, in-migration, investment.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Village of New Intersection Panam Pekanbaru. to find out how much WTP paid household garbage and how much garbage levy comparison of government and that there is a large field and know the elasticity of variables that influence WTP household waste in Simpang New Village Housing Panam Pekanbaru. In this study, the population is the entire group perumnas the levy garbage collected by the Department of Health Village New Intersection Panam Pekanbaru. Total population sample drawn as many as 368 and as many as 45 or 12% of the population, data analysis methods used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Simultaneous testing (F test) showed that income, education and number of family members together significantly influence WTP of household waste in the Village of New Simpang Panam. With 19.750 F count value is greater than the value of the F table 3,200. Based on the results of the calculation are known R2 value of 0.561 means that income, education and number of family members simultaneously affecting WTP of household waste by 56.10%, while 43.90% are influenced by other factors not analyzed. WTP households in Housing New Simpang village Panam larger than the existing levies and charges specified field by PERDA. The elasticity of income independent variable changes (X1) was 0.78, meaning that if income (X1) increased by 1% then willingnes To Pay (WTP) will increase by 0.78%.Keywords: WTP, Income, Education, Number of Family Members

Abstract

The aim of this study include: provide an overview of inventory and laborrequirements as well as provide an overview of the economic opportunitiesavailable as the foundation to move development of strategic sectors.Research carried out in the region Indragiri Hilir. Analysis of the presentcondition and future employment through employment elasticity analysis methods. For the data used in the context of this study is data from BPS.Results of research conducted showed that the economy Indragiri Hilir in2012 grew by 7.47% and employment growth of 4.14%, with elasticity of 0.54. So that the number of job opportunities in the year 2012 as many as 304 792 people. While economic forecasts Indragiri Hilir in 2015 grew by 7.72% and employment growth of 4.87%, with employment elasticity of 0.5363. Estimated GDP at constant 2000 prices Indragiri Downstream of Rp. 10012.91 billion and employment opportunities created as many as 342 002 people.Keywords: Labor, employment opportunities
